Chapter 16th

Ther Intruder alert signal was going off inside of the Control room as the remaining crew arriving earlier heard the siren going off not expecting to see Captain Charles Morton, Sharkey, and Kowalski reappear inside the control room as Commander Johnson standing at the plotting table still trying to understand the situation as to what had happened.

"OMG! Captain Morton are you alright?" he blurted out with his response as the rest of the Control room personnel were startled while working at their stations.

"I am fine, but where are the rebels Commander?" he had looked around the Control room.

"They disappeared no doubt to head back to the island and the laboratory. I am still waiting to hear from all departments on whether or not we will be able to get underway." he will allude with his statement.

"I will as with Chief Sharkey and Kowalski will beheading to sickbay to have Doctor Lewis check us over before taking over our positions. By the way, have you heard from the Bellius one or the Bellius?" he had to ask the question.

"Yes, sir, we have Captain Morton. They were able to move out of the bubble of the cloaking device and head for the Bellius to give a full report to Captain Crane in charge," he noted with a hint of a smirk on his face.

"Find, we are going now to have all departments give a report on which departments are short of staff in order to run this submarine?" he responded to the commander grabbing Sharkey's arm and heading for the aft hatchway passing the radio shack busy with messages.

Outside the corridor...

"What the hell is wrong with the commander Captain Morton?" Chief Sharkey had to ask with his concern.

Shaking of his shoulders feeling a little nervous all of a sudden. "Maybe it was something to do with the removal of the GPS tracking devices. And why we need to be going to sickbay to find out for sure." Chip Morton alluded with his comment as Kowalski followed behind with the next level as personnel was roaming around needing to find out whether they will be on duty or not as confused.

Reaching sickbay...

Doctor Daniel Lewis was having his hands full at the moment with his short staff with three of that medical personnel on the way back to the United States in a pine box to be delivered to the Nelson Institute.

Captain Morton walked inside to see Doctor Lewis talking to a corpsman with a chart in his hand he looks up to see the Captain looking well considering what everyone had gone through.

"Captain, how are you feeling?" Doctor Lewis needed to ask since he had a serious problem going on with crewmembers sick since the GPS tracking device had been removed.

"Okay, except for feeling a little nervous or dizzy at times as with Sharkey and Kowalski. Do we continue on with moving the Seaview out of the location to head back home?" he asked with grave concern.

"Of course, you do Captain since the side effects will only last a few more hours." Doctor Lewis says with his expertise after talking with Darien over the years.

"Find, but I will need a complete list of those crewmembers unable to work their shifts at the moment." he motions with a slight wobble as his balance is off.

Doctor Lewis will say the following. "I have my orders for you, Captain. I need for you to go to bed for now for a few hours, the same with the both of you and I don't need to be hearing anything out of your mouths right now," he advised with his request.

Morton grumbled under his breath with the following. "I will do it for now Doctor Lewis. But I am telling you I want a full report on everyone that had been affected by the removal of the GPS tracking device?" he had venom in his tone and demeanor.

"Of course, I will Captain!" he will watch the three leave the sickbay as he went to work to be talking with his staff in regard to the Seaview crew.

Meanwhile, Captain Chip Morton when he arrived back in his quarters with turning on the lights in his room. He headed for the communications terminal to ask Sparks working in the radio shack right now to send a priority one message to Admiral Nelson of the institute to let him know that he will be sending a full report later.

"Aye, Captain right away." Sparks will tell him...

NELSON INSTITUTE

7.30 A.M. in the morning...

Admiral Harriman Nelson had left his house after his wife Syrian had made breakfast after a late night of images. Nelson was feeling better after a few hours of sleep as he walked into his office with Angie working early.

She looks up from her computer terminal to say to him..."Sir, there is a priority one message on your desk from the Seaview. Captain Chip Morton and the rest of his crew are now back on the Seaview and are heading back home, even though they will be meeting up with the Bellius and Captain Lee Crane." she noted with a hint of amazement that her friend and boss was doing better now...

"Thanks, Angie, I will call them right away to speak with the Captain. By the way, have you gotten a reply back from the United Nations for when it comes to the Alliance leader Darien?" he asked calmly as she will follow him into his office as he removes his uniform jacket feeling like it was like a noose of sorts.

"They have said in a communication that Darien's people were able to send a message to them that he and his spaceship is on the way back from another galaxy while dealing with another matter trying to stop a solar system from blowing themselves up with eight planets in the system. He will be back on Earth in three days and will be updated on the situation on what has been going on at the Saipan island and the rebels." she alluded by handing him the dispatch from them.

"It's about time Angie. I wonder what type of reaction he's going to be having once he finds out what had happened to the crewmembers of the Seaview?" Nelson cried out heading over to the terminal to call the Seaview...

"I will leave you to your work sir, while I have mail that needs to be sorted for now." she smiles back as she leaves his office to his call to the Seaview.
