Intruder Alert
Chapter 20th
Lee Crane slowly walks over to his wife (second)Lisa swinging the swing with picking up speed a little as he will do the same on his as well with picking up speed into the air. He was feeling like a little boy all of a sudden.
"Lee isn't this fun? I love you, by the way." she needed to say while she needed to slow down the swing in order to talk with her husband. She stopped the swing with her feet as she came to a dead stop.
She will move over to the black bench to sit down with Crane to follow her with an urgency kissing her now not bothering to worry about others in the area. "I am sorry to have placed all of the stress on you, Lisa with this mission."
She coughs slightly before talking. "Well, the mission is over now Lee and we are going have to talk about what has been going on between us of late with your anger and demeanor." she alluded with her statement being serious.
"I finally realized Lisa that I can't ruin another marriage. So I have decided to take a month off from the Institute to spend it with my wife and family. I think we should take another honeymoon leaving the kids with Rose Marie and her sister for now. She will agree to the idea that two of the boys are ours for when we were married all of those years." he tells her...
"I think Lee it's a wonderful idea. But where can we go?" Lisa instructed.
"Hawaii and Paris, France for the month. We don't have to worry about a thing since the Institute has plenty to take over my position and including Admiral Harriman Nelson," he responded with a kiss on her dry, chapped lips.
"What do you think Admiral Nelson will have to say on the subject?" she was curious asking the question.
"I believe in my judgment, he's going to think it's a good idea that I take the time. Since I have been upsetting everyone including Angie." he paused for the moment.
"I agree Lee. However, I will be needing to ask you in regard to the new race that was found that you had mentioned about the Cajun," she says with an exhale.
"What about them Lisa other than what we know about their race?" Lee gestured with his question feeling slightly uncomfortable.
"I know this is a long shot question. Do you think that the woman Lauren will come to make the decision to join the Alliance?" she said with sympathy.
"Don't know Lisa, Admiral Nelson, Darien, and the United Nations Alliance will be calling me with any type of meeting that is going to be happening while we are away on the second honeymoon Lisa. Speaking of which how about I cook steaks on the barbecue at the beach house and invite Chip and his wife Carol along with Chief Sharkey and his wife?" Lee needed to say to Lisa with a kiss on her lips again.
"Sure, I like that Lee. However, you're going to have to call them if they are available while picking up supplies at the store?" she advised.
MEANWHILE...
SAIPAN ISLAND
Lauren had been sitting in her office with the rest of the rebels that had joined her to have the Seaview and the crew released.
She and Dennison sitting next to her had been writing down the tally of the vote on whether or not they should be joining the Alliance on Planet Earth. Since there were 32 of 40 were interested in the tally to join and it was going to be up to Lauren to contact the United Nations telling them that they want to set up a series of meetings one of them was going to be with Admiral Harriman Nelson of the Institute.
"Okay, everyone the vote is 32 to 8 in order to join, while the rest of the rebels are in cells now. I really don't know since I need for you all to write down on pieces of paper on what you're ideas is fair for them to live or die?" she alludes with hearing grumbling under the breaths of the rebels listening on.
15 minutes later she had her answer to the answer to those rebels in the cells. Every one of them voted to have the Alliance and the United Nations take them over by taking care of them with all new lives if possible.
"I will direct communication to the United Nations and then to the Nelson Institue on how to go about starting the process of joining the alliance...
LEE CRANE'S BEACH HOUSE
After calling the following Seaview crew members all of them have accepted the last-minute barbecue with Morton and Lee Crane working the grill with the ladies and including Chief Sharkey and his wife of five years Elizabeth was drinking with Lisa making them at the bar.
She had been enjoying herself by sipping the Whiskey. Carol came over to ask for another Run and coke with Sharkey wanting a Bourbon. While Chip and Lee were having fun making sure that they don't burn the steaks, chicken, or spare ribs on the large grill.
"Here you go everyone to start with the eating fun with the steaks and chicken. Otherwise, the ribs will be taking longer?" Lee cried out to get everyone's attention and including his wife Lisa.
Sitting was Elizabeth hearing the phone ringing as she calls out to Lee on whether to answer it.
"Answer it and let me know who it is Elizabeth?" Lee croaked out with his reply. "Lee, it's for you, It's Admiral Harriman Nelson needing to let you know the latest on the Cujan rebels. she watches him give the duties to Chip Morton as he places the steaks onto a large white platter with the mushrooms, onions, and other essentials.
"What is it, Admiral Nelson?" Lee asked calmly as Lisa was able to see her husband's reaction.
Calling from his office after receiving the communications from Lauren to begin the process of joining the Alliance. As Nelson had explained the situation to him.
"I am sorry to have disturbed you and the barbeque. I just needed to update you on Lauren and her rebels voting to join the Alliance. She had sent off a communication to the United Nations. Plus to have them those that have been taken into the cells going against them." Nelson alluded with a bit of a surprise in his demeanor and tone of voice.
"Jesus, that's amazing Admiral Nelson! By the way, has Darien been informed of this situation?" he posed the question.
"He will be soon by his own people from the United Nations, Lee. However, I will leave you with your barbecue and your vacation. I already have those to be taking over your position and including myself." he preceded to say to him.
"Thanks for keeping me up to date on the Cujans, Admiral Nelson." he will hang up the phone to head back to the grill to finish up since he was hungry himself.
