I don't know how, but somehow the cart's front end got caught on something and flipped everyone inside. It all happened so fast. Peli and I went flying out of our seats, and Mando used his jetpack to get to me before we landed. Wrapping both arms around me, he flipped us in such a way that he landed on the ground, shielding me from the impact. That didn't stop him from immediately shooting at the mech again once we were down. Still keeping one arm protectively around my waist, we stood up together and Peli joined us. The mech kept moving until from out of nowhere this loud roar cut through the air. The droid stopped, and Mando and I looked at each other. Mando then led both me and Peli to a room nearby. The roars continued, along with really loud footsteps shaking the ground. Uh oh, that can't be good…..

I clung onto my husband as these two massive claws appeared from over the side of a high wall. This thing, this monster drew up its head, revealing itself. Whatever it was, it caught the mech's attention. My eyes widened when I saw who was controlling the beast. Boba Fett! He was riding that thing, holding the chains in one hand and sporting a blaster in the other. I gasped, leaning forward a little in horror. "Boba Fett!" My voice echoed.

He didn't hear nor see me, which probably was a good thing. A shoot-out ensued between him and the mech, with the monster bringing Boba Fett closer to the droid. The monster soon began hitting at the mech's invisible shield, making little progress in actually damaging the thing. While I was watching the scene terrified, Mando glanced my way. I suddenly felt him pushing me further inside before retracting his arm from my waist. He gave me a sincere, serious look. "Don't move. Let me handle this," he said. "Mando….." My jaw quivered as I stared at him wide-eyed. Taking out his darksaber- which he still had- he went to go help Boba Fett, who wasn't looking in the best shape. I winced watching the monster jerk him around on its back.

Mando was able to break through the barrier with his black lightsaber, but the mech got one good shot at the monster. It stumbled backwards, shaking Boba Fett viciously. Some buildings crumbled; loose rubble hitting him in the process. My eyes drifted back onto Mando, seeing he was having problems of his own. The mech threw him off and seemed to be on its way to destroy him. Oh, hell no! Shutting my eyes, I lifted my hand up. A few strands of my hair flew out over my cheek as I took in a deep breath. Using the Force, I was able to break off one of the mech's legs, saving my husband.

Peli, silently observing this all unfold from the side, put her hands on my shoulders. She guided me back over to Mando who caught me in his arms. Ironically, he was the one who'd just been in a fight but the first thing he did was scan me over for injury.

Gotta love being married.

Seeing that I was alright, we turned our attention back to the droid which was still functioning. The monster was also back on its feet and ready for round two. Only this time the beast managed to win and Boba Fett went off to battle more of them. Wait, there's more?! How many of these things were there exactly? Who was Boba Fett fighting?!

Whoever he was fighting, it didn't look like the war was going to end anytime soon. I'm sure Mando's first impulse was to order me to go hide somewhere, but I knew my husband better than that. He didn't want me out of his sight until it was safe- classic Mandalorian. Fine by me! Hand-in-hand we ran through the city, along with Peli. Mando led the way, firing at the bad guys, I guess. He also instructed the civilians on what they should be doing. "Keep them on their heels! They're on the run!" He waved his arm at everyone. This encouraged the crowd. The shooting kept happening, the running and screaming continued. Basically we were still in the middle of a war.

Here is where I made a mistake though. Mando got us back in range of Boba Fett and the monster, who were still destroying those evil droids. They honestly looked to be doing alright- they weren't losing anyway. Things took a turn for the worst, however, when from around the corner this blue-faced guy wearing a weird hat appeared. I had no idea who he was but from the moment I saw him, I could tell he was bad news.

Boba Fett's attention turned right onto him and the monster was about to attack before the blue-faced man blasted it in the face with fire. Boba Fett gave a cry like he was struggling to hold on. My eyes grew large again, my blood ran cold. This is where I messed up. "Boba Fett!" I screamed out loud.

This was the first time Boba Fett took notice of my presence there. His helmet spun in my direction, his body froze for a second. Though I couldn't hear it exactly, I'm sure he whispered my name out of shock. This is also when I learned that the Mandalorian wasn't the only one who was really protective of me there.

Stunned and unmoving momentarily, the monster was finally able to throw him off. I witnessed my friend go hurling down towards the ground, landing painfully. "Boba Fett!" Letting go of Mando's hand, I surprised everyone watching the scene by running over to his side- the cloak he gave me was flying out every which way. I kneeled right there in the dirt beside him, immediately searching for any sign of blood. Thankfully there was none but I could tell he was injured. Boba Fett for his part merely turned his head softly in my direction.

"Saoirse….." He gasped in between breathes. With no time to waste, I shut my eyes and placed my hand over top his suit's breastplate. It didn't take long to heal him since his wounds weren't that extensive. It was mostly head trauma I was worried about. A minute later and he was good as new. I, on the other hand, had to stop and take some deep inhales- using the Force this much was starting to wear me out. But that didn't matter. What was important was that Boba Fett was alright- alright, and royally pissed at me.

He sat up like a shot and my head spun toward his a little. "Boba Fett, are you ok?" "I told you to stay away!" He barked in return. I simply smiled, which felt like it took a lot of effort now. "Didn't I say….. that Mando and I would come if you ever needed us?" Oh, he was not happy with this response; not at all. It warmed my heart that he was this concerned for me, which explained why he was enraged. I don't think it helped either that the blue-faced guy was looking straight at us, or rather me right now. His red eyes shifted from Boba Fett onto me, as I'm pretty sure he was putting the pieces together about us. And that made Boba Fett nervous. Really nervous.

Though I couldn't actually see it through his helmet, I'd been with Mando long enough to tell when he was glaring at me- which Boba Fett was doing right now. "Take cover!" His command was definite and final. Then he stood up, getting in-between us, and protectively blocking the blue-face man's path to me. Mando, meanwhile, didn't waste any time running over to where I was still sitting on the ground and putting his arm around me. Holding onto my back, he led me back over to Peli and we began to run in the opposite direction, with me taking one last look at Boba Fett from over my shoulder.

My friend didn't move from that spot until we were safely away from the scene.
