Intruder Alert

Chapter 26th

On the island of Saipan inside the laboratory office lab. Lauren had been content to relax but she had a job to be doing with setting up the series of meetings with Admiral Harriman Nelson and most of all the Alliance leader Darien.

She had been contacted by the United Nations Alliance member Darien on where to have the first meeting located in the United States. Darien had asked whether the meeting is at the Nelson Institute or abroad on his vessel to discuss the options of joining the alliance.

However, Lauren wasn't sure what to do at the moment. So she asked Dennison and three others in her group to discuss it in the office. She heard from them that they were on their way over. She had drinks ready for them in order to be a gracious host.

Looking at her metal watch on her left wrist for now as it's almost time. There was a knock on the door of her office as the four of them including Dennison. "Please be seated, everyone. I have drinks for all of you." she alluded with the gesture.

"What's this all about Lauen with this meeting?" Dennison motions with the question as he takes a sip of his fruit drink down his throat and likes the texture.

Exhaling briefly...She needed to say to the group. "I have been contacted by the Alliance Darien and Admiral Harriman Nelson of the Institute. They have asked me which choice is the best place to have the first meeting to join?" she pointed out with the statement...

Dennison tells her..."Don't you think what is best Lauren is to actually have the meeting on Darien's vessel since it's going to be more protected from any attacks." he alluded with the comment.

"I will have to agree with you on that one Dennison. But so does the Nelson Institute have a great deal of protection?" she alluded. "If I have to make the choice I will go with the Nelson Institute. Does this go well with all of you and including Dennison?" she will look over at the four of them within agreement with their heads. "Okay, then it's settled I will call Admiral Harriman Nelson and let him know that we can set up the first meeting to join the Alliance at the Institute." she points out with her words of peace.

SWINGS...

Suzanne had been listening to her husband for the past twenty minutes about different things. But yet he hasn't told her the biggest news as to why they were here in the first place.

She was getting anxious all of a sudden when he came off the swing as she was sitting on the bench. He walked over to her to sit down.

He was trying to get out the right words to tell her the news about his promotion. "Are you ever going to tell me what is going on Danny?" she paused for a moment as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Will you please give me a moment to gather my thoughts Suzanne?" he barked back at her to have his wife stay back from starting a fight with her husband.

"Sure, I will Danny." she cried out looking into the sky to see the Naval jets flying over them.

He takes his time with what he needs to be said to his wife Suzanne. He was a nervous nelly for Pete's sake and he doesn't know why all of a sudden. "Admiral Harriman Nelson decided after this cruise to promote me to Captain of the Bellius, Suzanne after I had done a great job under Captain Lee Crane and the rest of the crew doing their jobs to figure out what was going on at the time with those at the Saipan island and cloaking device." he exhales...

"Thank the lord! I think that Nelson did the right thing or else he was going to be losing someone with experience Danny. I know that you were thinking about leaving the Institute after the last chat we had." she was trying to be humble with her husband.

"Stop Suzanne! I really don't know anymore when it comes to my own convictions and thoughts as a commander. It's going to be much harder now that I will be the captain over everyone on board the Bellius." he cried out with him to kiss his wife on her red ruby lips.

He breaks the kiss telling her the following. "Are you hungry let's head to the Red Lobster for lunch and a movie? I don't care which movie as long as we are together today Suzanne.

"I love it Danny." she and her husband moved off...

NELSON INSTITUTE

Admiral Harriman Nelson was arriving back to his office after speaking with Doctor Sterling about the final results of the shots given to the crew and including Captain Chip Morton.

As it turned out with the second shot no one had any side effects to be a good thing to see. Though Doctor Sterling had provided caution when it comes to the Seaview crew. He had made recommendations to have the Seaview released for now even though the crew will need shore leave for a few weeks to recover.

"Don't you worry Doctor I plan to for now as with the Bellius for only a week since Captain Danny Wills will be receiving the orders in a few days?" Nelson alluded to leaving sickbay.

"Whatever you do Harriman just be sure that your crew is going to be alright with 21 dead having arrived finally? Three coroner's working for the Navy and privately will be arriving to be doing the autopsies with permission from all of the families having been contacted." Doctor Sterling decided to have said for now.

Nelson walked into his office with Angie to be stopping him for a moment with his mail sitting on her desk for now. "Sir, you're not going to believe this? she says with a shake of her head.

"What is it Angie?" he pleaded with the question since he had seen the strange expression on her face.

"Harriman there is a strange woman name Lauren in your office, even though she is not really there as her features are on one of the walls. I think it might be some sort of a hologram?" she advised.

"Maybe! I think Lauren needs to communicate with me about the Alliance since she and her people have expressed to joining." he felt a little distracted all of a sudden.

"Good luck, Admiral." Angie watched him walk inside his office.

"Admiral Nelson this is Lauren. Do you remember me at all?" she tells him with a straight face from inside her office.

"Yes, Lauren I remember you. I do hope you have a reason to have scared my secretary Angie with your appearance?" he croaks out with the question.

"I have a big reason, Admiral Nelson. My people would like to schedule a meeting with you and Darien in order to join the Alliance. However, we like to have the meeting at the Nelson Institute to help us be protected from anyone wishing to stop the meeting." she says on the wall.

"Okay, I will have to talk with Darien to discuss it with him and then we will decide along with the heavy security alerts. It's the best I can do right now Lauren!" he points out...

"I completely understand Admiral Harriman Nelson." she alluded with her features disappearing from the wall as Nelson exhales...
