Chapter 27th
Right away after Lauren's features had disappeared from the wall. Admiral Harriman Nelson picked up the transmitter that was behind his chair in order to make contact with Darien. This was very important to be speaking with Darien depending on where he's located. He was first going to try contacting the United Nations in New York City on whether he will be there for meetings since coming back to Earth.
Commander Too Lee Soon of Darien's office in charge of Communications. He had gotten back from a series of meetings with other Alliance members needing communications to be sent off to different countries.
He heard the buzzing soon of the special communications board on the wall indicating that it was Admiral Harriman Nelson of the Nelson Institute. Getting off his brown chair to open up the comlink to the terminal Nelson was using.
"This is Commander Soon, what can I do for you, Admiral Nelson?" he alluded with his question looking at the time on the clock that was hanging down from the light beige walls.
"Yes, you, Can Commander. I am trying to locate Darien. It's important that he contacts me as soon as possible in regard to the race that has the woman Lauren in charge on the island of Saipan. They wish to sign an agreement to join the alliance finally making the decision." Nelson alluded with an exhale as he was hoping that soon Darien will make contact with him.
"Admiral Nelson, I understand Darien is on board his vessel in orbit. I will be able to make contact with him after I am done talking to you," he advised with his response.
"Just be sure to Darien that the Cajuns are very much interested in joining the Alliance." he recanted with his own demeanor in an uproar.
"I will do my best Admiral Nelson to relay the information to him." he will end the communications to set up the next series of coordinates to contact the communications onboard Darien's vessel.
DARIEN'S CHAMBERS
He had been trying to rest in his quarters with everyone bothering him. He was grateful that he had left his family back on the home planet. Since he had a great deal of work that needed to be done. However, now that he was changing his form once again into a human.
It was at this point he needed his eight hours of sleep. However, he was interrupted when Commander Soon of the United Nations had informed him that Admiral Nelson needed his attention with the Cajun race wishing to set up a series of meetings to join the Alliance at the Nelson Institute.
In his gruff voice. Darien will say the following. "I will call him right away Commander since he made the point to contact you at the United Nations." he cried out in a sort of annoyance.
"Yes, sir, he did and it's important with this new race to join." he alludes with his comment to have Darien shrugging of his human shoulders.
"Excellent, thanks for calling Commander and I will let you know when the first meeting will be set up," Darien noted with the flip of the switch to change coordinates on the communications terminal.
Nelson Institute
Admiral Harriman Nelson had been keeping himself busy with paperwork sending them out with Angie to check over them before heading out for the rest of the evening to be with her husband Jeff.
Drinking more of his black coffee with a slight headache. Behind his head, he was able to hear the buzzer of the communications terminal wondering who it might be.
However when he has recognized the coordinates of Darien's special communications terminal. "This is Nelson, it's about time Darien I finally got a chance to speak with you. Are you yourself or in human form at the moment?" he will ask with the sensitive nature of the question.
Using a little bit of his charm. "It certainly not the real me, Harriman. Instead, I am posing as a human once again. However, I understand that the Cajun woman Lauren had finally decided to set up the first meeting to join the Alliance. Where exactly does she want to have the meeting since this vessel is really not that the safest at the moment?" he came up with the question.
"Nelson Institute Darien and I will agree with the Institute being the safe haven for the Cajuns." Nelson was able to tell him the location.
"That's fine with me, Harriman. But when do you think this first meeting will be?" he just had to ask with the importance that he's not in his real form to scare them.
"You tell me, Darien, when again you're going to be in your human form?" he pointed out with the suggestion.
Darien had to think about it for a moment to come up with the following..." Harriman...36 hours. I suggest you tell them that I will beam down to the Institute. But how will they get to the Institute?" he had a good question to be answering.
"I believe Darien they have the process of beaming down or move elsewhere with some type of a transporter beam they had developed. Lauren in charge of the Cajun will know that we had our briefing together. However, for the like of me, I just don't trust them at all Darrien with what was done to the Seaview crew." he alluded with his emotions getting in the way of his talking.
"Have the 21 bodies of the Seaview crew been shipped back to the Nelson Institute?" he asked with compassion.
"They have Darien. Three of the local Medical examiners for the Navy will be doing the autopsies on the bodies with permission from the families. I and Commander Lee Crane have already written a special letter to those poor families." he says with an exhale of grief...
"I am truly sorry Harriman about the deaths. I was angry when I had heard the news about the Seaview crew with 21 of their comrades dying from experiments on the island and laboratory." he scratched the back of his neck since he was a human male.
"I know Darien. Nevertheless, I will end this now so that you can no doubt get your rest or whatever you were trying to do?" he pointed out with his comment.
"Try sleeping Harriman in this damn human form is not an easy thing to do at this point in time? please let me know when you're able to make contact with Lauren to be settling on the time and place for the first meeting." Darien said ending the communications with Admiral Nelson.
Moments later in his office as he turned from the communications center.
"Admiral Nelson, I am felt your presence telling me that you wish to speak with me about the first meeting with yourself and Darien?" she paused...
"Don't you know if it was anybody else, you probably would be given them a heart attack or stroke with your presence?" he says calmly.
"I am truly sorry Admiral Nelson. Do you have anything for me?" she says from inside her office at the laboratory.
"Yeah, I do Lauren. The first meeting will be taking place in 36 hours here at the Institute. Security is going to be tight so Lauren, you will have nothing to worry about. Please inform your people about it with you're beaming down to my office coordinates to begin the process." he preceded to say to her.
"Very well, I will inform them. Thank you for believing in us for the sake of the Alliance." she will disappear afterward to have Admiral Nelson to relax...
