Chapter 30th
"Let's hope not Patterson that no one is going to wind up getting hurt with the pressure is already on the Institute with the loss of 21 Seaview crewmembers. I can imagine how much it must be hurting Admiral Nelson to have sent out the Seaview only to have the Bellius with Captain Lee Crane to take over for Commander Danny Wills?" she alluded with her comment.
"I heard through the grapevine that Admiral Nelson had decided to promote Commander Wills to Captain to take full control of the Bellius with Commander Lee Crane to take some time off." Patterson preceded to say.
Munching on the last of her lobster and drink. Sarah needed to ask a question that had been on her mind. "Tell me Pat while you were serving over the years on the Seaview. Did Captain Crane ever try to overstep his boundaries over Admiral Nelson?" she tells him with the question.
Thinking about it for the moment since it was an easy question to be answering. "Since I had been on the Seaview there were a number of times that Captain Lee Crane tried his best to get take over from Nelson. Even though there were a few times that he wanted to fire the Captain." Patterson says calmly taking a sip of his Budweiser beer.
"It was a no wonder there had been some bad blood over the years? No doubt Admiral Nelson is trying to do it again with the Nelson Institute since Crane had made the decision to take over with Nelson's offer?" Sarah alluded shrugging her shoulders.
"Look, Sarah, Commander Lee Crane is like a son to Admiral Nelson. Even though at times I was there times during those battles inside the Control room of the Seaview. Even my friend Kowalski hated the fact that Commander Chip Morton was allowed to take over into a difficult situation." Patterson exhales with his comment.
"That's just awful Patterson." the waiter will come over to ask whether they needed anything else to eat for dessert. It was when Sarah's face lit up with the mention of dessert as she asked whether they had any chocolate cake with whipped cream.
"Of course, we have it, Ma'am. And yourself, sir?" the young waiter in his early twenties will ask the question.
"I will have the same thing as well with the chocolate cake but no whipped cream for me." he cried out with watching the waiter walk away with his head for the dessert showcases with plenty of all-new fresh slices to be had for now.
MEANWHILE AT THE BEACH HOUSE
Commander Lee Crane was giving last-minute instructions to his nanny to be watching the three kids since he and Lisa will be going fishing on one of the party boats from the late afternoon into the night. He was able to get his friend at the Marina harbor to book him a spot for himself and Lisa.
Lisa placed all of the fishing equipment and jackets along with caps and gloves to be held onto the reels.
When he had changed his clothes for the evening fishing trip. He walked outside after kissing his three kids playing in the back of the beach house with the ABCmouse tablet and other little toys to keep them busy until it was time to go to sleep.
Lisa had set up a time to call the Nanny Louisa since she and another had been switching off every other day. She had asked her husband for the key since she was in the mood to drive to the Marina.
However, what they didn't know was going to be a little bit of a surprise when they reach the Marina. Inside the grey Volkswagon with starting up the vehicle. Lee had been thinking about the entire incident with those Cajun rebels and including Lauren.
She turned her head for the moment. She will be asked the following. "What's wrong Lee?"
Rubbing the back of his neck for the time being. "I just don't know anymore. I am finding the altitude of Darien somewhat strange since nothing so far had been done by him and his people for the Alliance." he exhales.
"In what you're meaning Lee is to have the Cajuns destroyed quickly before the situation gets any worst?" Lisa noted the question that even her husband wasn't able to understand. "Do you think that maybe Admiral Harriman Nelson might have set up a plan since he did talk with Patterson and Third Class Sarah Goodman both engineers to be setting up something?" he pleaded to say to his wife.
"Yeah, I do Lisa." while she was driving all of a sudden the entire vehicle was covered by a transporter beam as the both of them were frozen in place once they had shown up abroad Darien spacecraft and the transporter platform with Darien to be waiting for them in his human form as he tells them in his gruff voice not to be scared.
"You're able to move in a few seconds, Commander Crane. Try and relax since the effects of the bean will end now." he pointed as the both of them were to talk and move as Lee Crane was steaming mad with Darien.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING DARIEN?" he barked back with his emotional response.
"I needed to be doing this with the both of you to try and explain the situation with the meeting to be taking place tomorrow. I know that Admiral Nelson has set up a trap to find out who is actually behind the deaths of those 21 on the Seaview. I am sorry to have scared both of you like this. I will return the both of you back to the space-time continuum so you won't be losing any time with your fishing."
"Then why couldn't Admiral Nelson tell me the truth?" Lee cried out with his anger trying to abate slightly. While Lisa was amazed at the alien even though in his human form.
"I couldn't right now as with Harriman in order not to give away the truth during the meeting. This is a delicate situation with the Alliance and I don't wish to make that decision Commander Crane to destroy Earth." his words scared Lisa throughout her entire body.
"You actually have the power to destroy a planet?" Lisa croaks out the question.
"Yes I can and all of our spacecraft throughout the galaxy Lisa. Now it's time to place you back into place and enjoy yourselves tonight?" he alluded with a touch of humor with his human personailty.
