Intruder Alert
Chapter 35th
Darien needed to ask a question that Lauren had to answer as he had a serious expression through those features of his eyes. "Lauren, I need to know that your people are going to be serious about joining the Alliance. This is a serious matter for when it comes to peace." Darien explicitly had to say to her with his question.
"Look, I am serious as with the rebels that voted to join the Alliance with this meeting and no doubt with many others once I signed the paperwork Darien. I am sick and tired of violence, as with those that voted." she barked back at him.
While Admiral Nelson had a question to be asked. "Darien, I am sorry to be overstepping at the moment. But where will Lauren be living once the vote is taken?" he tells him...
"Saipan island, but the rebels will have to remove the laboratory and simply live a normal life with no violent instruments to hurt anyone. You will be contacted whenever needs to be met with food, energy, or clothing. Otherwise, you will be living in peace, Lauren. Understand me with the order?" Darien had a tone that had scared her and Admiral Nelson as well.
"Understood. Are you going to contact me with the medical coroner's report on Dennison, Admiral Nelson?" she preceded to ask with the importance of the question.
"I will send it to you when it's available Lauren. Darien, is there anything else you need to be asking Lauren?" Nelson advised with the question as he had a feeling something else was on his mind.
"Nothing right now. We can end this now while Lauren you can beam out back to Saipan while I have another matter to discuss with Admiral Nelson." Darien croaks with his reply.
"Very well, I assume I will be contacted for when there is another meeting along with the report on Dennison's autopsy report?" Lauren waited...
"Yes, we will Lauren now stay well for now and make sure to continue to use the security blanket while you in your quarters?" Nelson pleaded with his comment.
She will touch her silver belt to have the transporter turned on as she will disappear out of existence with the blue glow.
"What did you think Darien?" Admiral Harriman Nelson asked.
Shrugging his shoulders in his original form. "I really don't know Harriman. But in the meantime, you're able to start sending out the Seaview and the Bellius for the shake-down cruise?" Darien recanted his statement.
"It's about time since it's costing the Institute a fortune since the vendors need to have the scientific instruments placed on the Seaview, while the Bellius needs the shakedown cruise. However, I promised everyone to enjoy the rest of the week with their leave. However, I need to get the Bellius a new commander since I have promoted Danny Wills as captain. He had told me that he was going mountain climbing after changing some of his plans." Nelson scratched the back of his neck all of a sudden.
"Whatever Harriman! I will let you know when is the next meeting with Lauren. However, I will need to have the autopsy on Dennison when it's ready? I am heading up to my spacecraft for now with other matters to attend to." Darien used his belt around his waist to have the blue glow of the beam disappear from the conference room.
DURING THE NEXT FEW DAYS WITH THE SEAVIEW AND BELLIUS CREWS ON LEAVE.
A coroner report from the Institute Doctor had sent the full report on Dennison. Admiral Nelson figured as much that Dennison died with all of his organs and including his brain energy killed by the electrical energies of the cloaking device entering the bubble with the energy.
He had called Darien to let him know along with the fact that Lauren had sent him communications after talking with her rebels, that she will request another meeting to join the Alliance. This will be taking place in two days.
But in the meantime, Admiral Nelson needed another commander to take over the spot for Captain Danny Wills. He had an appointment with Commander John Martin of the Orlando, Florida Naval base deciding to leave for the private company the Nelson Institute.
With the local Naval base having to be material officer John Martin arrived with being shown the office for Admiral Nelson. He was 47 years old, married to a woman named Janey a communications specialist who will be transferring in a few weeks. While their two boys 19 and 18 will be staying with their grandmother once their classes are over for college and high school.
Nelson was reading his profile on all of his achievements while he was at the base and on the U.S.S. Horizon nuclear submarine.
Angie had been working in the office when Commander John Martin arrived with his black hair with some salt and pepper. She looks up to see his green/blue eyes. "Can I help you, Commander?" she asked with a lower tone of voice.
"Admiral Nelson is waiting to speak with me. I am the Commander for the Bellius." he paused for the moment.
"Of course, I should have known Commander Martin. I will let the Admiral know you're here." she will pick up the phone with Nelson to be answering the call.
"What is it Angie?" he was being slightly defensively with his response.
"Sir, Commander John Martin is here to see you." she prompted with her answer and had to listen to what he was saying over the phone. "Commander, you go right in."
For Commander Lee Crane, he was enjoying the last few weeks of his vacation before heading back to the institute. This time with the three kids in tow and Lisa. They had driven to the San Francisco zoo for the day as he had turned off his cell phone to be bothered by anyone.
The day was just lovely as the temperatures had been in the high eighties even though the humidity was extremely low for a change.
Lisa was sitting at the Lions caged as Lee was feeding the kids popcorn and soft drinks to really pissed her off with the sugar. However, she decided not to say a word. She had the local newspaper in her large purple pocketbook since she hadn't had a chance to read it.
But when she does the front page will have the story about the Alliance between the new race called the Cajun located on the Saipan Island. She called Lee over as he sat down next to her.
"What's wrong Lisa?" he sees her with the local newspaper with the front page filled with the Alliance news about the Cajun joining the Alliance with recent meetings to settle to sign a special pact with Admiral Nelson and the Alliance CEO Darien.
"Do you believe this Lee that the newspapers had gotten a hold of the story so soon?" she croaks out with her reply.
"I had no idea that the Nelson Institute was going to be releasing the story?" Lee dutifully will say to his wife.
"Neither did I Lisa. But maybe the reporters were able to pick it up elsewhere?" Lee noted with a deep exhale as he sees the Lions roaming around in a playful mood for a change.
