Intruder Alert

Chapter 36th

"You know what Lisa?" Lee had been thinking a great deal sitting at the Lion cages while the kids were enjoying themselves.

"What's that Lee?" Lisa looked into his eyes knowing that he was serious when it comes to what he needed to be doing.

Pulling out his cell phone from the pocket of his black pants. "I am going to call communications to find out for sure with Angie since she is always the one to know everything." he was sullen all of the sudden with his response.

Angie had been busy with all of the paperwork of late with the two submarines Seaview and Bellius will be going out soon on cruises. She had to type up the names of the entire crew and including Commander John Martin talking with Admiral Nelson Inside.

She heard the phone ring as she pick up the extension to be Commander Lee Crane. "What can I do for you, Lee? Admiral Nelson is with the new Commander for the Bellius." SHE HAD TO TELL HIM.

"Sorry, I rather he talking to you, Angie." Lee exhales over the cell phone.

Smiling to a certain point with her expression. "What about Commander Crane that was so important to interrupt me with my work?" she had been annoyed all of a sudden.

"Listen, I really need to know. Lisa read an article in the newspaper San Franciso Times that told her about the Alliance with the Cajun group to be joining or will be signing the papers at an up and coming meeting at the Nelson Institute? is this true that the Institute had released the story?" Lee barked back over his cell phone to wait for an answer from her.

Angie didn't need to lie about it since it was the truth. "Admiral Nelson and Darien decided to release the story so that it will be easier on everyone instead of keeping it silent for now." Angie recanted her statement.

"I just can't believe this Angie! by the way how is the new Commander for the Bellus?" Lee was pensive for the moment and whether she will be giving her honest judgment on the new man.

"He seems nice enough Lee. I just hope to god that he will be able to do his job with Captain Danny Wills now?" she pointed out with her own opinion for the most part.

"I will probably meet him when everyone is back from their leaves for both submarines? By the way, the San Francisco is just lovely today with the Lions are out of their caves," he responded with his interest in the lions, tigers, and most of all the whales.

"I am glad that you're enjoying the day out Lee. I am stuck here with all of the work that I have been given by Admiral Nelson. But in the meantime, he's talking with Commander John Martin. Listen I need to end this now since I have already said enough to you, Lee. Have a good rest of the day with your family." she tells him...

"Of course, Angie, and thanks for telling me the truth." Lee had hung up the connection.

While Admiral Harriman Nelson had been finishing up his conversation with Command John Martin in his office.

"There is one more thing I need to ask John. I do hope that you're going to be able to tell me the truth?" Nelson said explicitly with his question.

Commander John Martin had his legs crossed with an expression needing to know what else he needed to know.

"Do you believe in aliens Commander Martin?" Nelson was sitting behind his desk with a smirk on his face.

"Actually I do Admiral Nelson, ever since I was a little boy. Even though I had watched numerous articles and tv shows over the years about the aliens. I was amazed at the way Darien looked in the pictures taken of him in his original form. Even though I understand he changes into his human form every 12 to 16 hours a cycle?" he alluded with his comment.

"I met Darien many years ago during a cruise on the Seaview during a crisis the Seaview had been stopped dead in its tracks, and one of the Admiral on board with more power than me since I had retired gave the order to blow it out of the sky. Even though we were deep under the water being held by his ship. It wasn't until later that a small vehicle for one man was able to head on over to his vehicle only to find him to change in the version form of myself." Nelson tells him the story.

"Were you scared of Darien, Admiral Nelson?" he asked calmly with the question trying not to upset him further.

"No, I wasn't commander," Nelson tells him with the honest truth. "We were able to come together with our differences over the years. I can tell you stories for those who had first met Darien in his true form?" he was being coy with the commander.

"I believe I will learn to like him as well as time goes by Admiral. But for now, I have a job that needs to be done on the Bellius needing to learn everyone's names, and how Captain Danny Wills works," he tells him. "Is there anything else I should know about other than the fact where I will be living with my wife for when she arrives from Orlando, Florida with our things?"

"This is the location of your quarters for the officer apartments in the Nelson Institute, Commander Martin, and good luck." Nelson will get up to shake his hand as Commander Martin heads out into the outer office where Angie had been working hard on her computer terminal.

Nelson came out to ask Angie whether there were any messages for him.

"Only your wife Syrian, Admiral Nelson. This is the number for you to reach her." she will hand him the message and phone number on the beige piece of paper.
