TWO WEEKS EARLIER...
"S... Sugu... Sugu! SUGU!" Kazuto Kirigaya shouted, shaking his now-dead cousin Suguha violently as he stared in her eyes, now void of life, knowing now that she had been lost from the world. Unable to take his mind off that unholy scene he had just witnessed, he screams wildly.
"Kazuto!" his aunt Midori gasped as she rushed to the bathroom. Her worried look turned to fear when she saw Kazuto clutching Suguha in his arms. "Did something happen?"
Upon hearing the tender words from his aunt, Kazuto started crying. "I'm sorry..." he said. "I couldn't save her."
"Don't blame yourself, Kazuto," his uncle Minetaka responded as he entered the bathroom and hugged him tightly, struggling to hold back his tears. "You didn't know that that would happen. Hell, even we had no idea she would do this to herself."
"Minetaka, what are we going to do?" Midori asked fearfully.
"She died too young," Minetaka replied solemnly. "Even so, we cannot afford to let what happened be taken lightly. I'll speak with the funeral attendants... see if we can give her a proper burial. This is the least we can do for her."
Kazuto nodded silently, fearing that the worst would soon happen to him.
Some minutes later, Kazuto and his relatives arrived at the funeral where the reverend had started giving a speech.
"But if you do wrong, be afraid," the reverend spoke gravely. "For he does not bear the sword in vain. He is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongful."
As the reverend continues preaching, Kazuto couldn't help but think back on those words his cousin yelled out a few hours before she slit her own wrists in the bathtub. "You're not my brother," she said. "You should've just stayed the jerk you were before you joined SAO. Then, you being nice wouldn't have been so cruel."
Kazuto thought hard about what he could've said... what he could've done to change that, but her words still lingered deep in his mind. "Your sorry won't change anything," she spat out. "You don't care. Go... be with her, and leave me alone... for good!"
When the funeral was over, Kazuto ran into his friends, drenched in tears, guilty of what he had brought upon his own cousin.
"Kirito... you look so down," Andrew said.
"You can always talk to us, you know," Rika assured. "She's right," Ryotaro explained. "You just lost your cousin- I mean, sister. You're in serious need of help. I know someone who can help you wi-" But Keiko immediately slaps Ryotaro in the face. "Geez, get a grip, will you, Klein?" she shouted at him. "He doesn't need to speak with a shrink." "That's not what I meant, Silica," Ryotaro stuttered in confusion.
"Thanks, you guys," Kazuto responded. "But I'm not in the mood for a chat. Please... leave me alone."
His friends felt guilt upon realizing what he said. "If you insist," Ryotaro said sadly. "But seriously, please give this a thought. We just want to help you."
However, Kazuto guiltily ignores them as he walks out of the cemetery, attempting to ease the pain that panged inside him.
However, the moment he went to bed, night soon became a harder approach for him to deal with.
"Look at you, Kazuto," the voice inside him said. Kazuto gasped as he tried to find out where that voice came from.
"Who are you?" he shouted. "Show yourself!"
"Don't you get it?" the voice spoke. "I am your thoughts... the voice inside your head."
"Shut up!" Kazuto screamed, putting his hands over his ears.
"Who are you to tell me to shut up?" the voice pestered. "You let your little sister die... and now, you get to live? How unfair could you be?"
"I didn't mean to let her die..." Kazuto insisted, putting his hands down. "It was a mistake! If I could apologize to her, I wo-"
"Just accept it, goddamn it!" the voice yelled. "You let her die... just like you let the others die! Saying that you're sorry won't bring her back! But..."
"But what?" he yelled back.
"There is one way you can make it up to her," the voice smiled.
"What is it?" he asked.
"Join her," the voice replied. "You've killed people for too long. Isn't it about time you let someone else take up your mantle? That way, no one else will have to suffer like you made her suffer."
"She wouldn't want me to die like th-" Kazuto started to shout out, but another voice interrupts him.
"No, oni-chan," the other voice said. "But it's better this way."
"Sugu?" Kazuto gasped. "No... it can't be! You died!"
"Or could I?" she asked. "You should know by now... you could never be a hero... not even anyone's savior."
"Then, what's the point in me being alive?" Kazuto cried out.
"There isn't," Suguha smiled. "That's why you should join me. Don't worry... I'll forgive you."
When Kazuto came to, he immediately grabbed the kitchen knife she had previously left behind and pointed it towards his left arm with his right hand, letting out a wave of tears as he prepares to end his misery. "I'm sorry..." he cried out, moments away from slicing out his left wrist. "I failed all of you... please forgive me..."
"Don't do it!" someone shouts out, snapping him out. When he came to his sense, he saw a familiar face.
"Sachi?" Kazuto said. "But... I saw you die."
"That's not the point, Kirito," she whispered to him gently. "None of this is your fault."
"But... but I let you all die!" Kazuto yelled. "I let you all do-"
"You didn't!" Sachi shouted. "Your sister... she lied to you!"
"How?" he asked loudly.
"That man who stole Asuna from you..." she spoke. "She told him to trap Asuna and the others in his twisted game... just like she had your parents killed."
"That's impossible!" he answered back. "They died in a car accident-"
"That she caused," she interrupted. "Please, don't listen to your sister. I understand your pain. I'm sorry I couldn't be strong enough to protect you and my friends, Kirito. Regardless of that, please let me help you kill Sugou."
"Why?" he asked.
"What if I told you that you can avenge your parents' deaths... and ours?" Sachi answered softly.
"Can you really do that, Sachi?" he said.
"Yes, Kirito..." she smiled, gently touching his forehead. "All you have to do is lie still."
Suddenly, Kazuto starts screaming out loud in pain, squirming his body in an attempt to take his mind off this endless pain. "Someone please help me!" Kazuto yelled out, wailing loudly as the pain soon took over his body. A few seconds later, he suddenly stopped screaming as the pain within him dies out. When his senses returned to him, he suddenly lets out an evil smile.
"Kazuto?" Midori asked as she stepped into his bedroom. "Are you all right? Should I call the doctor?"
"No need," he spoke calmly. "I'm fine now."
"Okay, Kazuto," she smiled. "Let me know if you need anything."
"Got it," he answered. As soon as she leaves his room, he looked up and chuckled evilly.
"Sugou, you fucking son of a bitch..." Kazuto muttered to himself, his eyes glowing green with malicious rage. "I'll save Asuna from you... and make you pay... even if I have to kill you to do it."
PRESENT DAY
Three days have passed since Kazuto had brought Asuna home from ALFheim Online. Although it would be considered a victory for the Black Swordsman, Kazuto had secretly pondered on the facts regarding how he achieved an impossible victory and silently concluded that it wasn't a victory at all, but rather, a satisfaction for his bloodlust that has, for reasons unknown, kept his trauma at bay. But of course, his friends didn't know exactly what he had done to the man that was no longer Sugou Nobuyuki, but instead just another victim, and so, they obviously had to throw a huge party for him. While Kazuto had been busy checking up on Asuna, their friends had set up huge surprises that would await them, along with the usual preparation. It was expected that the Dicey Cafe would be their next stop as they usually hung out with them there.
However, this morning, when Kazuto and Asuna arrived at the Dicey Cafe, their friends saw something different about them. For starters, in place of their usual outfits stood their rather dark and depressing outfits, with his outfit comprising of a black-and-red T-shirt, a long dark trench coat, and black jeans, and her outfit comprising of a gothic lolita dress and black jacket. Secondly, Kazuto has sandals on, revealing his toes with green-and-purple nails. As far as they were concerned, he had always worn shoes.
"Hey, Kazuto..." Ryotaro said in confusion, noticing his black beanie, dragon choker necklace, and sunglasses. "You don't look so good."
"Good?" Kazuto smiled. "I've never felt better in a while! I don't know exactly what happened, but I suddenly feel great... maybe, even better than before."
"I highly doubt that," Andrew sighed. "I almost forgot... since when did you start wearing glasses? And that hat... it doesn't look good on you."
"Oh... sorry about that," Kazuto chuckled before taking off his beanie and sunglasses, revealing his purple streaks on his black hair and his green eyes. Keiko shudders while Rika's eyes widen in fear.
"Kirito... while we do appreciate your enthusiasm for the party-" Keiko started to say, but Kazuto interrupts her.
"Party?" Kazuto shouted with excitement as Asuna leans on him tightly while he grabs a big slice of cake. "I'm in luck!" He sees a shelf of various alcoholic beverages. "So, what do you want, guys?" he asks. "Champagne, sake, brandy, whiskey, gin, tequila, rum, vodka, beer, or wine? If you guys wanna get wasted, I'll buy them all!" Of course, this made Keiko furious.
"Kirito!" Keiko shouted as he slaps him in the face. "What the actual fuck is wrong with you?! I don't know exactly how much you've changed, but you've definitely lost your way!"
"Yeah!" Ryotaro chimed in. "You just lost Suguha two weeks ago! You haven't spoken to any of us! I know this might sound unbecoming of me, but you definitely need to see a shrink. As annoying as he may be, he actually knows what to do!"
Expecting a hard slap from Rika, Ryotaro instead finds relief when he hears her words of agreement.
"As much as I hate to admit it, Klein's definitely right!" Rika yelled. "Worse of all, you've got Asuna involved with your selfish antics. Why won't you come back to us?"
"That Kirito died two weeks ago when Suguha died!" Kazuto shouted back. "I'm the new and improved! Plus, I'm the Black Fucking Swordsman!"
"Kirito..." Andrew sighed. "You have changed... and it's hurting everyone you love, bro..."
Kazuto angrily sighs as he turns towards the door. "Forget them, Kirito-kun," Asuna says gently. "Besides, we're already married. We have better things to do... including our honeymoon."
"Honeymoon... married!?" Ryotaro gasps in confusion. "Hold on... you two got married already?!"
"Yeah," Kazuto replies evilly. "We're leaving Japan, but don't worry. I'll be sure to buy you some souvenirs. Come on, Asuna. Let's go."
Then, Kazuto and Asuna start leaving the Dicey Cafe, leaving their friends shocked, wondering what had just happened.
Later that night, Kazuto and Asuna had started packing up all their stuff for their honeymoon when he felt something wet coming from his pants. "Kirito, you okay?" Asuna asks just as Kazuto unzips his pants, shocked to find out where it came from.
"Shit!" Kazuto shouted, embarrassed by what he saw. "How much semen did I jizz out?" Standing in awe at his massive, erect cock stained in cum, she starts rubbing it, but his semen immediately splashes into his feet, prompting him to take off his sandals hurriedly as he blushes. "Asuna, what are you doing?" Kazuto asks as she climbs up on him, pushing her vagina into his penis, pushing him onto the bed. "Fuck me so hard I can't walk straight, Kirito-kun," Asuna cooed. Grinning evilly at her response, Kazuto starts pounding his wet cock into her pussy, thrusting it in and out repetitively as she hugs him tightly, biting his lips wildly. "Keep going, Kirito!" she yells, moaning with pleasure as her mind goes blank from lust.
"At this rate, I'm going to cum again!" Kazuto shouts, moaning hard.
"Do it, Kirito," Asuna cooed. "I want your child... please impregnate me..."
"No turning back now..." Kazuto smirked as he gave his last thrust.
"Aaahhh!" they both moaned as Kazuto's load exploded into her, with every wave of his cum splashing into her womb. Not long after they cummed, they lied down, numb from their embrace, panting heavily as they enjoyed each other's company.
"Kirito, I'm glad we cummed," she smiled as she kisses him in the lips. "I never thought that having sex with the hero of Aincrad would actually feel so great."
"You do know that we have to finish packing up," Kazuto said.
"Don't worry about that... we'll figure it out soon," she replies, embracing him tightly. "If I get pregnant, I know you'd make a wonderful father."
"I love you, Asuna-chan, my wife," Kazuto grins as he kisses him back.
"I love you too, Kirito-kun, my hero and husband," Asuna replies back.
They started embracing each other, knowing that for the first time in their lives, everything would finally go their way with nothing standing in their way. A few minutes later, they had finished packing up and started heading for the airport. Managing to get the first class seats, they hopped onto the airplane, where they embraced each other more, knowing that nothing could go wrong. But unfortunately, little did they know that they could never be more wrong.
Meanwhile, in an abandoned gangster hideout, many mobsters and crime bosses from the United Kingdom, Germany, India, Italy, Russia, Australia, and China had come together to discuss the recent tragedy in Japan, and some of them weren't happy about the death of their idol; however, an intervention from the founding crime lord was enough to prevent further conflict.
"I'm sure you're wondering why I've brought you here, fellas," he spoke calmly, his eyes and mind focused towards the crew. "Even though we've had our differences throughout the years, we share a mutual interest."
"And what would that be?" a British thug asked arrogantly.
"The opportunity to kill the Black Swordsman, Mr. Adams," he replied assuringly.
"Yeah!" a German mobster shouted in agreement. "Let's kill that brat! After all, he killed our savior!"
"In due time, Herr Wolff," he responded, earning a modest grunt from the German. "In due time, we will take the boy's life... but not now."
"Who are you anyway?" a bearded Afghan spoke. "Why do you want to help us?"
"I am Master Bennett," he answered. "Mr. Sugou Nobuyuki was a colleague of mine who helped with ALFheim Online. I will always be grateful for what he did for me, so let us take this opportunity to ensure that his death does not go in vain, Mr. Assef."
"And how are we going to do that, Mr. Bennett?" the bald Chinese businessman asked calmly.
"Simple, Mr. Wang," Bennett answered. "We start by taking everything from him."
"Even if we do that," the older Italian brother spoke. "What about the girl Sugou planned on marrying?" the younger brother continued.
"That sounds bold, Marco and Stefano Romano," he chuckled. "But we cannot risk trapping her again. Fortunately for us though, her brother will do quite nicely. As for you, Mr. Anderson and Mr. Popov, how does a trip to the Kirigaya house sound?"
"The Kirigaya family, eh?" Mr. Anderson responds. "Hey, Popov, my lad... you said you wanted to get up close with older women."
"Yes!" Mr. Popov laughed. "I'll be more than happy to see her pleasure me!"
"Then, it's been decided," Master Bennett declared. "We shall call ourselves the Knights of Oberon and rid the world of Kazuto Kirigaya!"
They all laugh evilly and wildly while they raise their drinks up.
Good chance you've got lots of things to say about this chapter. You're probably wondering why I gave Kirito that purple-and-green goth look, along with the title being based on a lyric from Dove Cameron's song "Evil." Well, I decided to make this chapter a Descendants reference. Oh yeah... what happened to Sugou? I basically implanted one of Kayaba's tricks into the previous chapter. You know, the one where he turned Sword Art Online into the Death Game? You might as well come up with your own interpretations about Sugou's fate IRL.
To Stormbreaker99: Yes, ALO doesn't have blood or guns, and Kirito killed Sugou through solid sword techniques in the anime. However, I feel that while Reki Kawahara did right to have Kazuto bring Sugou to justice instead of killing him IRL, I don't think that it would pan out well for those who hate Sugou because of what he did prior to his arrest... plus, he returned in a video game in the form of another character. Even so, Kirito did hack into the servers to prevent Yui's data from being wiped out back in the Aincrad Arc, and prior to that, he hacked into the computer so that he could find out who his parents really were, so I thought that it would make sense to... bend the network to his advantage.
Feel free to leave comments or opinions on the Review tab. Hopefully, whatever's going on with Kazuto here will be clarified throughout the story.
