Chapter 38th

Finale

Darien had been advised by Admiral Harriman Nelson of the Institute that the signing for joining the Alliance will take place tomorrow inside Nelson's office at 1 p.m. in the afternoon.

In attendance will be two representatives from the Seaview and the Bellius along with having to be carried via close circuit camera, and one reporter.

Commander Lee Crane was sitting on the beach with his wife Lisa and the kids since tomorrow he will be attending the signing. Lisa turned to say to her husband. "Let's hope to god that this will be worth it after all of the deaths that had happened on the Seaview, Lee?" Lisa was watching the three playing ball on the sane enjoying themselves.

"It has better be Lisa or else those that have died will have been buried so far will die honorable." Lee croaks out taking a sip of his bottled water with the temperatures having to be rising slightly.

"I think it's best that we head inside to the air conditioning with it having to be too hot for my taste Lee. This heat is just too much for the kids as well!" she alluded to having to state the obvious to him having been on the Seaview for years dealing with changes in the temperatures and the ozone levels.

They will pack up their things.

Patterson had been taking a walk with Sarah Goodman inside the apartment complex having heard about the signing of the Alliance with the Cajun race. Sitting down on one of the green benches since the Seaview crew will be going back to duty the day after tomorrow for a cruise. Right now they had no idea where they will be going.

While the Bellius with Captain Danny Wills and his crew will finally be having the shake-down cruise to the Atlantic ocean to run a series of tests to make sure that all of the departments will be in full working order.

Their science departments are on board with Admiral Harriman Nelson to be going along for the cruise for a few days before heading back home in the flyer instead of the flying sub. One of the tests with his scientists from the Nelson Institute and the Atlantic weather International Corporation will be checking the ozone levels as to the rise of the heat and storms.

Sarah Goodman asked Patterson sitting on the bench. "Is there something on your mind Pat?" she will touch his face tenderly.

"Just concerned tomorrow with the signing. Otherwise, I am glad that we will be going out finally on a cruise Sarah. Even though even Captain Morton has no idea where the Seaview will be heading the day after tomorrow?" Patterson needed to say to her.

"Where ever we go Patterson, at least we will be working together in engineering?" she shrugged her shoulders before moving into him for a kiss.

Patterson had on his mind since the small black box in his pocket waiting for the right moment to ask even though they have known each other a short time. Right now he didn't care.

"Sarah there is something I need to be asking you with this box," he says showing it to her with a diamond emerald cut ring. "Will you marry Sarah?" he exhales since this is the first time in a long time he's been involved with any woman since his work had always been important to him.

Sarah had started to cry for the moment. She will say the following. "Of course, I will marry you, Pat!" she will place on the diamond emerald ring that had fitted her perfectly. "Plus I do love you." she alluded with emotion...

THE NEXT DAY...

Lauren and her second in command beamed into the office for Admiral Nelson. While Commander Lee Crane, Captain Chip Morton, Captain Danny Wills, and two others from the Seaview, while everyone else will be watching the signing with the Close circuit camera will be watching Darien hand the charter to Lauren to read first all of the rules and regulation since it mostly is about Peace and not war on Planet Earth.

Nothing had been said about when one of those regulations will be broken and the punishment of those rules and regulations.

The female reporter standing in the corner with her camera crew was permitted as well with her recorder on as with the camera crew to be filming the proceeding with Darien in his original form shaking her hand with signing the agreement to be loud applause from those inside in Nelson's office.

Sometimes later in Nelson's office with Lauren and her second-in-command having left to head back to Saipan island. She had made the mention of the rise in the heat and humidity on the island. "I see to it Lauren and find out the cause with going along with the Seaview," Nelson says.

"Good, and thanks for all of your help Admiral. I will be heading back to begin a new chapter in our lives." Lauren pressed the button on her silver belt to disappear from his office.

While the reporter Sandy Duncan lewis was able to speak with those attending the singing for the Alliance, the interviews will be shown on tonight's early and late news, along with a special report sometime the next day on the Institute.
