Chapter 12

A month went by and Amanda was indeed pregnant. They still hadn't told anyone and Olivia did her best to protect her from the field at work as soon as they found out. They went about their normal life, but a dark cloud hung over their head with the information David gave them. He didn't come over much anymore just used FaceTime.

Olivia sat in her office and smiled watching Amanda from the window. Fin knocked, "Liv, we have a call from the hospital. She's a little on edge and her publisher would prefer to speak to women. You and Amanda want to take it?"

They went and spoke with her. Her manager said she wouldn't say anything, but she was passed out with blood on her nightgown and had bruises. They walked in to see a fairly young blonde woman sitting on the bed looking lost. Jocelyn Paley was a young author widely known for her S romance novel called Twenty Five Acts. She went over the details and explained she flirted with Adam Cain. "I did this it can't be rape."

Amanda frowned, "That bruise on your neck, it's from a belt. Did you ask for that or did he force you?" She confirmed she didn't want that. Amanda pushed her when she declined Olivia's choice for a rape kit. "Yeah, did he use a condom? You're going to need to get tested for STDs." Olivia was shocked. Jocelyn had no choice but to agree after that, but Olivia was furious.

They left and let the nurse work. An officer would bring her down after. "Amanda, you were way out of line. We don't scare women into a rape kit."

Amanda rolled her eyes. Olivia loved her, but this part of her was maddening. The young cocky attitude. "Like it will matter. Have you read her book? The jury will eat her alive."

Olivia hadn't read the book or seen the show, but Amanda had. She explained what she knew. "In her book, act five the main character is choked with a belt and it made her have 18 orgasms. We don't have a case."

Olivia was shocked in more ways than one. She wondered if Amanda had more experience than her, especially after thinking of that ass slap she would tend to give her on their rougher nights. They returned and had the squad watch the show and discuss everything. Fin and Nick were sent to talk to Cain. Olivia and Amanda talked with Jocelyn again.

Olivia warned Amanda to behave this time. Olivia questioned and Amanda went after her again. When it was over Olivia sent her home. "What am I, in trouble like Quinn." Olivia gave her a stern look and told her to go home.

Amanda went home and saw Lucy and Quinn just walked in. Quinn ran and hugged her, "Where's mommy?" Amanda explained still at work.

She told Lucy, she got in trouble with her mouth today. She didn't know Quinn was listening, "Oh no! Are you going to get a spanking?" Amanda kissed her head and promised she was fine.

Later on Amanda was nervous when she heard Olivia walk in and Quinn didn't help. "Mommy, don't spank mama. Pleaseeee!" She kissed her, "I won't, but how do you know anything?" She kissed Amanda's lips and bent down to Noah, "Hey sweet boy." She kissed all over Noah's fat cheeks.

She waited for Quinn to go help Lucy. "Jocelyn was raped again. Adam Cain attacked her after Nick and Fin tipped him off. You were right to push her, she's ready now." Amanda didn't smile. It didn't matter if she was right, she felt bad for her.

After they put everyone to bed Olivia had to ask, "Amanda, is BDSM a thing for you?" Amanda smirked. "I mean, I love our sex life. Sometimes it's easy, but we can get a little rough sometimes. I've had partners, you're my roughest though." Amanda frowned. "Hey, I like it and I love you. It just never crossed my mind until all of this. I'm behind the learning curve on this one. Do I satisfy you?"

Amanda looked up, "Yeah! Why would you ask that? Do you doubt me?" Amanda never did relationships, more of fuck and go. She didn't have to explain. Olivia kissed her, "We haven't talked about it, but I want us to."

Amanda smiled and turned red. "Liv, I don't want you to think I'm sick. I mean I'm an SVU detective. I shouldn't want…"

Olivia kissed her and straddled her, "You are a woman and making your own choices, but as your wife. I just want to know." They talked and kissed, then talked and kissed some more. Amanda even talked her into getting a few new toys, but wouldn't try them until after the baby.

After Halloween, Quinn became excited for the other big holidays. Last year was a first for a lot, but things had settled down. Simon and Tracy hosted Thanksgiving again. While Amanda and Olivia hosted Christmas Eve.

Simon and Olivia sat sipping eggnog and laughing. "Simon, I can't believe we're here. I didn't think we would ever have this. I never thought we would be a family. I love you." Their relationship had grown and their family was growing even more. Simon nodded towards Kyle, "Therapy is working huh?"

Olivia agreed. Kyle needed it, he just didn't know it. She looked at Amanda, she needed it too. "It's working for all of us."

After New Year's Day they all met up together at David's request for family photos. They stood on the snow covered bridge. "Ok kids, work with me and we have warmers and hot chocolate." The photographer took Olivia, Amanda, Kyle, Quinn, and Noah as a family, then David and Noah, then all the kids including Lucy, and finally Simon, Tracy, Ty, and Livi.

The kids sat drinking hot chocolate and watching the adults. First Olivia and Amanda, then Simon and Tracy, then Simon and Olivia, and Amanda, David, and Olivia. Everyone was shocked as Amanda yelled, "Kids we have a surprise!" She lifted her shirt and it said "Twins on board, Due July." She guided David's hand on her stomach and the family went nuts.

Olivia and Amanda knew for a while. They even told David, but Amanda's small frame was going to give her away quickly. She couldn't keep wearing the baggy clothes. They took one more with everyone altogether. They were happy, but it couldn't stay that way.

A week later SVU received the go to pick up Johnny D. Amanda was left at the squad due to her pregnancy. "Stay safe, we have babies coming."

Olivia laughed, "I will, but hell, we have babies at home, 3 of them." She laughed because they had already discussed a bigger place. They actually liked a home near Simon. It would be a longer travel time to work but Olivia was a Lieutenant now and Sergeant Tutuola was close and her 2nd in command.

Amanda was working on the paperwork so they didn't get behind and she saw Nick and Fin walk in covered in blood. She panicked not seeing Olivia with them. "Amanda, we…" Amanda shook her head, "No, noooo, noooooo, Liv!" Then she fainted.
