Adam: It seems no matter what universe we're in, evil has decided to make Earth its favorite planet to conquer and will stop at nothing to get it. Even going as far as to send giant monsters to do their bidding.
Shadow: And sometimes not even the military is powerful enough to stop them. But in times of desperation there's only one solution. Building giant fighting robots
Randy: Such as the Dino Megazord, the first Megazord of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.
Shadow: And Gipsy Danger, the Mark-III Jaeger of Pacific Rim.
Adam: I'm Adam, he's Shadow and that's Randy. And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win... a DEATH BATTLE.
The Rangers combine their Zords into the Megazord for a DEATH BATTLE

Randy: Being trapped in a space dumpster for 10,000 years by your enemy can understandably piss anyone off, and Rita Repulsa is no different.
Adam: And so when Rita was set free by two astronauts, she and her minions decided to destroy the nearest planet. Which unfortunately happens to be Earth.
Shadow: Luckily, a floating head in a tube named Zordon, had expected her inevitable escape and decided to put his plan into motion. The plan? Recruit five teenagers to become spandex wearing superheroes!
Adam: Armed with their Dinozords and their connection to the Morphing Grid, this group of teenagers became the very first Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.
Zack: Mastodon!
Kimberly: Pterodactyl!
Billy: Triceratops!
Trini: Saber-Toothed Tiger!
Jason: Tyrannosaurus!

Randy: *Groans* I'm getting a damn headache just by looking at them already. What are they, the Ginyu Force?
Adam: At least they don't play rock, paper, scissors. Though I agree the deja vu hurts my head a little.
Shadow: Now normally, you would think that five teenagers going up against an evil witch who can make her monsters grow is suicidal, but they got the hang of it pretty fast and started whooping alien ass.
Randy: But if their individual Dinozords still can't beat one of Rita's monsters, they can combine into the awesome Dino Megazord.

Adam: This Megazord is the combination, Tyrannosaurus, Mastodon, Pterodactyl, Triceratops and Saber-Toothed Tiger Dino Zords piloted by five Rangers.
Shadow: It also has two forms: Tank and Fighting modes. In tank mode, it can fire two cannons from its back, move fast and fire from the eyes of the individual Dino Zords it combines with. And in fighting mode, it can use the Rangers' knowledge of martial arts to give anyone a good ass kicking.
Popup: The Dino Megazord can also combine with the Dragonzord and Titanis to become the Ultrazord, but for the sake of this one-on-one duel, they will be excluded from the fight.
Shadow: I'll say. But the Megazord has two weapons stand out the most: the Mastodon Shield and the Power Sword.
Randy: Using the face of the Mastodon Dino Zord, it is capable of reflecting most energy attacks and and can use ice powers to freeze its enemies cold.
Adam: *Groans* Really Randy? Anyways, while Mastodon Shield boasts strong defense, it's the Power Sword that's the ultimate anti-monster killer.
Randy: Power Sword is capable of cutting down almost any monster Rita threw at it. Also in the fight against the Knasty Knight, it's also revealed it can absorb kinetic energy to increase its striking power.
Shadow: When not in use, the Power Sword also orbits the Earth and recharges the Megazord with a single touch.

Defeated one of Rita's most powerful minions, Goldar, on multiple occasions. One time he was giant-sized, and another time they defeated Goldar piloting a giant mech named Cyclopsis.
A fish goo monster uses poison venom to immobilize the Megazord. They use morphing energy to convert the goo into raw energy that they use to recharge and enhance the Megazord

Adam: With all that power, the Megazord showed Rita and her minions why Earth is off-limits. It is capable of lifting and throwing the 170 ton Dragonzord into a freaking mountain.
Shadow: The Megazord has also defeated 18 monsters in the first season of Mighty Morphin', an impressive rack of victories under its belt.
Randy: And for a mech this size, the Megazord is surprisingly fast. It was able to reflected a bolt of lightning launched from a monster with the Power Sword. Natural lightning moves at 220,000,000 mph. Meaning the Megazord can react around 1/3 the speed of light.
Popup: The Megazord is at the very least capable of flying to the moon considering that in the SNES PR Game and the Power Rangers Comics, the Megazord and Dragonzord are shown being able to reach the moon.
Randy: It has best Goldar on numerous occasions and when he piloted Cyclopsis, a War Zord designed to conquer planets. Hell, they even defeated Serpentera, a Zord capable of destroying planets at full power. Man, sounds like the Megazord can win almost any fight.
Weaknesses
Due to being solar-powered, the Megazord can't fight under a solar eclipse
Had its arm cut off by Cyclopsis in their rematch
Was destroyed when it fell into lava after being defeated by the Green Ranger and Goldar
Adam: But even the mighty Megazord has its downsides. Too much damage will overload its connection to the Morphing Grid and destroy it. And since it is powered by solar energy, fighting under prolonged separation from sunlight weakens the Megazord.
Shadow: Not to mention it got its arm cut off by Cyclopsis in their second fight when it got upgraded by Rita.
Popup: To be fair, the Red Ranger Jason was in a rush to save the people of Angel Grove and decided to use Zords despite being warned they're still recharging.
Randy: And it also doesn't help that while it's fast, it never bothers to dodge 90% of the time. Oh come on! What's the point of speed if you don't even bother to block or dodge attacks?
Adam: Not to mention it was destroyed when Green Ranger and Goldar supersized and double teamed it, resulting into the destruction of the Dinozords when they fell into lava.
Popup: The Thunderzords, which were the Dinozords' upgraded versions, were also destroyed by Rita's brother Rito Revolto after overloading their connection to the Morphing Grid.
Shadow: But even then, it just goes to show that no matter what Rita threw at the Power Rangers, the Megazord will be there to defend the Earth.
Jason: You're through, Sphinx!
The Megazord charges up the Powers Sword before slicing through King Sphinx. The super-sized monster screams in pain as he fell backwards and explodes in defeat.
Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori deploy Gipsy Danger for DEATH BATTLE
(Pacific Rim OST Soundtrack - 01 - MAIN THEME by Ramin Djawadi)
Shadow: In the year 2013, a dimensional portal open beneath the ocean, dubbed The Breach, unleashing extraterrestrials called Kaiju into the world.
Adam: Trespasser, the first Kaiju to appear, wreaked havoc in San Francisco, killing tens of thousands of lives and destroyed three cities before being killed by the military. But after more Kaijus keep appearing, the world decided to unite and to aside old rivalries for the sake of mankind and their survival a a species.
Randy: Their solution? Fighting monsters with their own monsters, and thus the Jaeger Program was born. Though there were problems at first, the Jaegers proved super effective and started driving the Kaijus back.
Popup: The neuro loads required to control a Jaeger proved too much for a lone pilot to handle, so a two-pilot system was created to solve the problem.
Adam But then it happened in 2020, when a Jaeger pilot named Raleigh Becket and his brother Yancy were tasked on killing Knifehead. During their fight, Yancy was killed as Knifehead tore the Danger's right side of its head.
Randy: Though Raleigh eventually killed the Kaiju, the loss of his brother proved too much for him and he quits the Jaeger program and Gipsy Danger was decommissioned for 5 years.
Shadow: But as we all know, the past catches up. Marshal Pentecost, who created the Jaeger program, convinces Raleigh to rejoin the Jaeger program after it was revealed the decided to cease the Jaeger program and decided to fund more on coastal defense walls, which fails ironically.
Randy: Man, Attack on Titan would be proud.
Adam: After going into the Shatterdome, Raleigh meets Pentecost's adopted daughter, Mako Mori, who he saved after her parents were killed by a Kaiju attack. And with two pilots, Gipsy Danger was given another chance to fight.

Randy: As a Jaeger, Gipsy Danger is s piloted by two humans and can use basic fighting skills such as throwing punches and kicks or grappling opponents.
Adam: Gipsy also possess powerful weapons in its arsenal designed to fight Kaijus. Its can turn its hands into Plasmacasters to blast Kaijus all to hell or Chains Swords to slice them into pieces.
Randy: And if you're fighting a Kaiju who can resist normal Jaeger punches, the Elbow Rocket can be use to gain momentum and therefore increases the striking power of Gipsy. And has a nuclear beam on its chest, capable to plowing through any Kaiju with a blast.
Shadow: Speaking of nuclear, Gipsy Danger is powered by a nuclear reactor. So EMPs are rendered useless to a Jaeger like this one.

Adam: Despite being a third generation Anti-Kaiju robot, Gipsy is one powerful Jaeger. It survived reentry from a fall from space to Earth and has held back Otachi's tail, the same one which destroyed Crimson Typhoon.
Shadow: It also lifted and threw Leatherback several feet away, and that Kaiju weighs 2,900 tons
Randy: It also individually Leatherback and Otachi when 3 Jaegers weren't enough, sliced Raiju in half and has even killed Slattern, a Category 5 Kaiju.
Popup: Slattern also survived a nuclear blast which killed Scunner and destroyed Striker Eureka.
Shadow: And Slattern? It survived the Payload which killed its fellow Kaiju Scunner and Striker Eureka. Well, Gipsy Danger survived that explosion as well, even though it had been badly mangled by Raiju.
Randy: And while it was sacrificed, Raleigh has destroyed the Breach when he made Gipsy Danger self- destruct, closing the portal between the two worlds for good. At least, until the sequel came out.

Adam: However, Gipsy Danger is far from perfect. Like all Jaegers, it needs two pilots to function properly, so if one or both pilots are out, it's not capable of fighting on its own.
Randy: And enough strength or piercing weapons can still penetrate its armor, example was when Gipsy Danger fought Knifehead or Raiju destroying one of its arms by surprise.
Shadow: Still, I'd think twice about going toe-to-toe with this Jaeger.
Raleigh: I think this guy's dead. But let's check for a pulse.
Gipsy Danger turns and transforms its left arm into the Plasmacaster and shoots Leatherback's corpse several times, its inside burning from the combustion.
Raleigh: No pulse.
Adam: All right, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all.
Adam, Shadow and Randy: It's time... For a DEATH BATTLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Angel Grove
A Category 3 Kaiju roars in pain as it got punched in the face by Gipsy Danger. The city was burning after the mentioned Kaiju wreaked havoc in the city, destroying houses and killing hundreds of human lives. By the time the Jaeger had arrived 70% of the city was in flames.
The Kaiju was wobbling on its two feet, indicating it was stunned from the punch the Jaeger delivered. Inside, Raleigh seizes the moment.
Raleigh: Mako! Use the plasma cannon.
Mako: Deploying plasma cannon.
Gipsy transforms its left arm into the Plasmacaster, but as soon as they were about to aim, Raleigh and Mako were shocked to see the Kaiju suddenly explodes, its blue blood raining everywhere.
Mako: What the?!
In front of them, it was none other than than the Dino Megazord. Inside, the Power Rangers were discussing.
Kimberly: What do you guys think? Is that robot another one of Rita's creation?
Billy: I don't know, but we can't let it destroy Angel Grove as well.
Jason: Billy's right. We're gonna show that robot who's boss.
The Megazord began charging forward at Gipsy Danger. The pilots realized the situation they were in.
Mako: Looks like it wants to fight us.
Raleigh: Then we'll give a fight.
The Jaeger got into a stance as the Megazord close in.
FIGHT!
(Way Past Flash - Brandon Yates)
Gipsy Danger throws the first punch at the Megazord, but it blocks the attack and gives a punch of its own that staggers the Jaeger and throws a kick that knocks it on its back.
As the Megazord walks up to Gipsy, the Jaeger then throws an uppercut to the face. The Megazord falls to its side from the punch as Gipsy towers over it and grabs the robot and begins spinning several times before throwing it several feet away.
Running at top speed, Gipsy jumps and prepares to use it Rocket Elbow, but the last in second the Megazord used the cannons on its back, causing it to fall on its back again.
The Megazord gets up and begins bombarding Gipsy with energy attacks. But the Megazord closes in, Gipsy transforms one of its hands into the Plasmacaster and shoots the Megazord in the chest, forcing it back.
Seeing the opportunity, the Jaeger cocks its other arm back and use the Elbow Rocket to punch the Megazord, sending it into a building that collapses under the Megazord's weight.
Seeing they were being overwhelmed, Jason decides to bring out the big guns.
Jason: Power Sword!
The Power Sword falls from orbit and into the Megazord's hands. Gipsy uses the Plasmacaster to shoot it, but it bocks of Gipsy's shots and rushes in. The Megazord swings its weapon at Gipsy which the Jaeger evades several swings, but got cut in the middle of its chest, fortunately it did not touch the nuclear reactor.
Raleigh: A sword, eh? We also can play that way.
Mako press a button inside Gipsy and its Plasmacaster arm turns into one with the Chain Sword. Both mechanics giants clashing their swords several times, but at one point, Gypsy manages to cut the Megazord in the chest and transforms its free arm into the Plasmacaster and shoots the Megazord, forcing to take a few steps back.
Gipsy fires more shots at the Megazord, but it summons the Mastodon Shield to deflect all the projectiles back at the Jaeger. The trunk of he Mastodon's face releases an icy mist, blocking Gipsy's view.
Raleigh: What the hell?!
The Megazord uses the distraction to slice Gipsy several times, but Gipsy manages to lean back to avoid an overhead cut and uses it Rocket Elbow to punch the Megazord away.
The Megazord throws another sword swing at Gipsy, but Gipsy grabs the offending arm and punches the Megazord in the face really hard.
Rangers: AAAAAAHH!
The Rangers scream as the cockpit shook violently from the impact and the Megazord falls to its side. The Jaeger grabs it by the legs and throws it into an oil station.
Raleigh: Greetings to Knifehead on my part!
Gypsy uses its Plasmacaster to shoot at the oil station, which caused a huge explosion and causes fire and black smoke to appear. Gipsy walks forward to see if the Megazord is destroyed or not.
Raleigh: Alright!
Mako: We did it-
Before the pilots could react, an energy blast struck Gipsy in the chest.
Raleigh: What the fuck?!
The Megazord emerge in its tank mode, firing all of its energy attacks from the Dinozords' eyes and cannons. Gipsy raises it arms to defend itself before a energy blast struck the head, damaging the visor and falls on its back.
The Megazord turns into fighting mode again as it summons the Power Sword andMastodon Shield as the Jaeger gets back up. Gipsy then fires its nuclear beam at the Megazord, but the Megazord reflects it back at Gipsy, tearing a hole on the left side.
The Jaeger falls into one knee as the Megazord kept bombarding it with energy blasts.
Gipsy transforms its right arm into a Plasmacaster and prepares to shoot the Megazord in the head, but Jason quickly notices.
Jason: Not so fast, Pal!
For a mech its size, the Megazord swings the Power Sword upwards at Gipsy's right arm, severing it from the Jaeger as it falls to the ground.
Raleight: Shit! Not again!
Mako: Raleigh! The energy of Gipsy Danger has gone drastically! the damage of gypsy are very serious! This step we do not resist much!
Raleigh: What?! No!
The Megazord then kicks Gipsy between two skyscrapers. Gipsy uses it remaining arm to latch into one of them and tries to balance itself.
Seeing their once chance, the Rangers unleashed their final attack
Jason: Let's finish this, guys!
Billy, Zack, Trini, and Kimberly: Right!
The Megazord raises the Power Sword as it charges up with energy and electricity. Raleigh and Mako saw the attack, but before they could do anything, the Megazord slashes the Jaeger vertically in the middle.
After several seconds, Gipsy is seen splitting into two. The halves falls to the ground and crushed sveral houses but miraculously, Raleigh and Mako were unharmed.
Power Rangers: We did it!
KO!
* Several helicopters are flying away with Gipsy' halves and medics attend the inured Raleigh and Mako.
* The Power Rangers are celebrating in the Command Center for their victory.
Results
(Way Past Flash again)
Randy and Shadow: Go! Go! Power Rangers!
Adam: This fight was a hard one to decide a victor from, both of them had weapons and skills to counter each other, but the Megazord had the edge just enough to best Gipsy.
Shadow: First off, Gipsy had the size and durability advantage. It survived a fall from orbit to Earth and Gipsy survived a nuclear blast even when it was damaged in a fight before, while the Megazord got its arm cut by Cyclopsis when it was low on power and can easily be defeated by overloading its connection to the Morphing Grid. But while it's tougher than the Megazord, Gipsy unfortunately isn't stronger or faster.
Randy: Gipsy has tossed Leatherback who weighs 2,900 tons. Tossing something that heavy would require 28,439,285 or an estimated 28 millions newtons of force. That impressive, but the Megazord punched a 10,000 ton monster over a hundred feet in the air, that's over 98 million newtons of force, over 3.5 times stronger than what Gipsy could lift.
Adam: Not to mention it can block and react to lightning, which clocks in at 220,000,000 miles per hour. I don't recall any Jaeger capable of that kind of reaction speed.
Popup: While both have experience defeating giant monsters, the Megazord technically is the only one with the experience to fight another robot, namely Cyclopsis.
Shadow: And the Megazord's weapons are as powerful as they versatile. The Mastodon Shield could counter any projectiles Gipsy threw it it and the Power Sword's kinetic absorption it could absorb the impacts of the Chain Swords and destroy them.
Randy: Gipsy did have a good way to defeat the Megazord, and that's using its self-destruct mode. Great idea, buuuuuuut it would also kill Raleigh and Mako in the process.
Adam: Gipsy Danger was a very strong and tough robot for sure, but the Megazord's strength, speed and weaponry ultimately handed it the victory.
Randy: Welp, the moment the Megazord uses its full Power, it looks like Gipsy was in a whole lot of Danger.
Adam: The winner is the Megazord.
* The connections between the Megazord and Gipsy is that both are giant robots which are capable of fighting alien monsters who had set their sights on Earth (Rita Repulsa and her minions for the Megazord and the Precursors and the Kaijus for Gipsy Danger)
* Both are also piloted by more than one person (Power Rangers for the Megazord and Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori for Gipsy Danger)
