The Legend of The Chort (ChorTrilogy I)

Action / adventure tales written from the perspective of Coach Z, which explains the intentionally odd narrator's voice. If you're not familiar with his accent, this weird little story is going to make even less sense. The idea for the series was lifted from Strong Bad Email 73 - Mascot, when Coach Z says, "Git yer head in tha game, The Chort! The Cheat is wide open!"

6. The Search is On!

We all walked to the King of Town's grill to regroup. When we arrived we were stunned to see the King sobbing uncontrollably. The Poopsmith seemed to be trying to comfort his master.

As we moved forward, the KOT saw us coming. He jumped back, and hid behind his Poopsmith. Thinking quickly, we taped The Cheat to Strong Mad's back, so we could interrogate Kingy in peace.

"Doo hoo, he's not with you, is he?" questioned the King.

"What the crap are you talking about? We're the ones who'll be asking the questions around here," replied Strong Bad. "So, what happened to you?"

"Well, I was enjoying a bath in a tub filled with butter at a few minutes after 6:00, when I heard a loud crash. I quickly put on my robe, and ran to my kitchen. As I burst in I saw a small, blue animal raiding my refrigerator. I was so scared, so I ran away. And he stole all my food, doo hoo hoo..."

We had another clue. The pieces of the puzzle were there, but how did they fit together? A small, blue animal had destroyed Bubs' concession stand, stolen the King of Town's food supply, and soiled The Cheat's good name. The querstion now was, "Where will this imposter strike next?" We didn't realize how soon we would know the answer.
