Prologue: Signs of Doom

"I am Uatu…The Watcher."

That mysterious voice of the cosmos belonged to said Watcher, an immortal cosmic being tasked with observing the history of the universe, from its fascinating beginnings to an unknown end. "I have been charged with observing your world since before humanity reigned as the dominant species." His pure white eyes begin glowing with visions of the past, re-witnessing the marvelous origins of some of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, "I have watched your greatest explorers…become your greatest heroes," He reminisces of the Fantastic Four battling the World Eater known as Galactus. "I have watched you turn accident…into triumph," He recalls the Amazing Spider-Man defeating his cackling nemesis named Green Goblin. "I have watched selfless acts…define a lifetime," He remembers the Incredible Hulk engaging the military of the world. "I have seen the flash of genius…define the future," He re-witness the Invincible Iron Man flying high to the skies from Avengers Tower. "I have watched legends born…" He recalls the First Avenger, Captain America, beating on Hydra soldiers during World War II, "And return…when most needed," then recall the Avengers locating the frozen Captain in modern times. "I have watched adversity…turn into purpose," He relives his observing of Cyclops leading his X-Men in battle against Magneto, the Master of Magnetism.

"Over and over again…" said The Watcher, "And it wasn't that long ago when the world experienced an event that forever changed the course of history. The Pulse." He recalls the mysterious cosmic shockwave that hit the planet hard and bad, disabling all electronics and leaving behind crystals of a greater mystery, "A cosmic phenomenon that scattered Neutronium, also known as ISO-8, byproduct of creation itself, across the globe and opened gateways to parallel worlds that had their fates intertwine with our own. Through them, I have watched the wind…bring freedom," He recalls Sonic the Hedgehog of Mobius saving his world from the evils of Doctor Eggman. "And I have watched roses grow…to branch friendships that will last a lifetime," He reminisces Team RWBY of Remnant having fun together either in school or out battling the Creatures of Grimm.

"I have watched all of this and so much more, because that is the task bequeathed to me by the universe." The visions end right as he states, "But I can stand by and watch no more. I have watched YOU…Victor von Doom!"

The Cosmic Observer points a stern finger at the person he has been monologuing to this whole time, in his own castle during an ominous night. The Metal-Masked Monarch of Latveria. The Master of Science and Sorcery. Earth's, and perhaps the universe's, greatest threat. Doctor Victor von Doom, who is holding a mysterious, radiant cut, cosmically green stone of infinite and unknown power that is the source of Uatu's immense worry.

"I KNOW what you've done. I know what you're planning and it cannot be allowed! Humanity is at an important crossroads. The future of your species is at stake." Watcher argued, wanting the tyrant to surrender the stone willingly, or by force if necessary, "So today, I have broken my Watchers' vow to never interfere with the course of humanity. I am here to STOP YOU!"

Powering up with immeasurable energy that could rival gods, the Watcher fiercely fires cosmic beams that would kill any mortal that wasn't Doctor Doom using his cosmic stone to shield himself. "I have so little respect for those who do not know their PLACE!" Doom retorted, using his stone to fire a blast powerful enough to stagger the cosmic being for a moment.

"You do not know the power you abuse." scowled Watcher as he powers up once more.

"And you do not seem to know how to be SILENT!" retorted Doom as he charges up his stone's energy.

The two then engage in a heated beam struggle with such cosmic force quaking the entire castle. Both combatants glare at each other as they push more power into their respective blast. Uatu's power is truly great, but scary enough, it pales in comparison to the immense power being held in the palm of Doom as he pushes him back. "The power of the Stone is MINE to control! You were a fool to come here! You have no one to blame but YOURSELF!" With that fierce shout, Doom overpowers the Watcher with a more powerful blast that forces him to kneel before his armored better.

"Please…" Though weakened, Uatu still has enough strength to pant out a final plead, "No human…can hold such power…"

Doom takes a calming moment to ponder his warning, glancing at his stone of untold origin and power before giving him a direct response of, "YOU'RE WRONG!" Brutally, the tyrant stabs the cosmic being's large forehead with the stone, causing him to scream out in agony from being overloaded with so much cosmic energy that his body can't endure it any longer.

Uatu disintegrated into nothing. The Watcher of the Universe has perished before the unfathomable might of Doctor Doom as he takes this victorious moment to stare at his mystery stone, ominously claiming that, "One can." only he can master its power. And the day he does, the Earth, the entire universe, and its neighboring dimensions, will tremble before the name of Doctor Doom.

KFX Here: For all newcomers to the United Heroes Series, first off, welcome. The purpose of this prologue was to introduce you to this universe and how all this interdimensional madness started, as well as set the stage for the main storyline of this "Masters of Evil Saga". Always be considerate of new readers so they won't be lost or confused.

Nathan Ramos: Read Battle for Remnant RX. Spidey got both the Stark (Tech) Suit and MCU Iron Spider Armor in that story. Also, most of your ideas are just nonsensical with my vision of this series. I've learned my lessons NOT to make Spider-Man an overpowered badass, hence why I'm doing these remakes to correct my mistakes. He has a balanced X-Aura (based on Marvel vs. Capcom 3's X-Factor) and gadgets, good enough. Making overpowered god armor is Iron Man's obsession. And Sonic ISN'T Captain America despite similar ideals.
