BGM-Sonic Heroes OST-System Screen: Select

Ruby: Hi! My name is Ruby Rose, leader of Team RWBY! Summer just started and we're already having a blast! We went shopping, toured the city, and were invited to a beach party! This would've never happened if the ISO-8 didn't bring us all together! Still don't know much about those crystals. But as long they're not ruining this summer, I don't really care.

Issue 4: Job Hunt

Latverian Embassy, New York City

BGM-Spider-Man 3 Game OST-Dr. Connors

Amidst the busy crowds, walking along the sidewalks of Manhattan, is a mysterious man dressed as a hat-wearing professor in a lab coat to hide his animalistic green skin from any do-gooder tracking his movements. They won't be able to track him for long, as his destination is the Latverian Embassy, one of the many homes outside of Latveria that protects Doctor Doom with diplomatic immunity. If any superhero tried to attack the building, it would be considered an act of war and a diplomatic nightmare that the United States wants to avoid at every cost.

Once the Mysterious Professor knocks on the front door of the Embassy, he humorously announces himself to anyone that may have been expecting him from the inside, "Hello? Is anyone home? This is Miles Warren! I was invited to come speak with an old friend in this creepy place!"

Suddenly the door opens from the inside, revealing a stern Doctor Octopus. "About time you showed up, Jackal. Get in!" He recognizes his guest as The Jackal, a crazy professor that has a master's degree in cloning and one of Spider-Man's more notorious enemies.

"Sorry for the little wait, but I wasn't expecting you to call so suddenly amidst my experiments." joked the smirking Jackal. The Clone Professor hangs up his hat and coat on a nearby rack as he continues talking to his fellow scientist, "So what's the deal, Octavius? Why are we meeting in the Latverian Embassy? Doom will have our heads if he finds us here!"

"Doom and I are now partners in a project that'll encompass the entire cosmos! And it requires your additional genius." Ock informed him.

Jackal was flabbergasted to hear that, "The famous Doctor Doom wants MY HELP to take over the universe?"

"We call ourselves the Masters of Evil, and I've heard rumors you are an expert in cloning Spider-Man. That is what we want from you. A Spider-Army." Ock said.

"Interesting. Yes, I've cloned Spider-Man enough times to torture the poor lad, and I have been experimenting with new cloning procedures through ISO-8. But a Spider-Army at the scale you're requesting? It'll take me weeks to even create a city-conquering army." Jackal argued, thinking the Masters of Evil are requesting the impossible.

"Or simply a few days." With a thought, Otto controls one of his mechanical tentacles to show the professor a small jar containing spidery-cell samples, "We want you to create a virus with these tissue samples of Spider-Man that'll infect the city and gives it citizens abilities akin to the Wallcrawler's that we plan to control with a new cosmic power we discovered." He explained to him the plan before dropping the jar into his hand.

"Why didn't you say so from the start? To build up suspense?" The crazed Jackal chuckles, "Yeah, I can work with this! And if you want living proof of my genius…" He then does a hand whistle as if he's signaling someone, or something, to come join his side.

Spookily, Ock feels a presence, a dark presence clinging to the ceiling above his head. That presence is hiding in the shadows, having somehow infiltrated the Embassy without security realizing it, opening its six pure, nightmarish red eyes that all shoot a monstrous glare down at Octavius. As the mad doctor prepare to defend himself against this beast, it drops from the ceiling to fully reveal itself as a humanoid tarantula-like creature with a face resembling that of a spider, four spider-legs grown from his back, all while wearing a torn blue hoodie as he stands by the grinning Jackal's side.

"Calm yourself, Otto. This hooded monstrosity is my prized student/bodyguard. Tarantula, say hello to the kind octopus man." Jackal ordered his mind-controlled spider-slave.

"Hrrrr…Helllllooooo…" Tarantula spoke through a dark, monstrous tone that is sometimes hard to understand.

After taking a moment to inspect this monstrous Man-Spider, Otto smiles sinisterly from what impressed him, "Yes! He is a prime example of the Spider-Soldier I want! Does this mean we have a deal, Warren?"

"Absolutely! I'll get started right away!" retorted Jackal, before sporting a malicious grin of his own, "It's been a while since I've done anything fun to mess with Spider-Man. Oooh, I cannot wait to see the look on his face when I unleash this chaos onto his precious city." He declared while ominously staring at the jar containing Spider-Man's lovely DNA.

Meanwhile at Stark Industries…

BGM-Sonic Lost World OST-Tails Laboratory

"HEY BOSS! Peter Parker and his annoying friends are here!" shouted Happy Hogan, Head of Stark Industries' Security that is responsibly escorting the Dimensional Avengers and Mary Jane into the New York facility.

"Thanks! Pep and I will handle them from here!" shouted CEO Tony Stark while approaching the group alongside his lovely personal assistant, Pepper Potts.

"See ya, Happy! Try to stay happy!" The uncostumed Peter waves goodbye to his friend as he leaves the group.

"I'll stay happy when I'm away from you!" quipped Happy.

Greeting the interdimensional teens with a welcoming smile, Tony says, "Long time no see, kids."

"You're all looking good. Enjoying your summer?" Pepper asked with her own warm-welcoming smile.

"You bet! We've been having a blast! I've been VERY eager to finally start my internship, Mr. Stark." Tails smiled at the company's CEO.

"I know you have. Also know you kids are here to try out my latest Extreme Gear training course. Let's not wait any longer." said Stark, already taking pleasant charge of the group as he leads them through his building.

A door opens that allows the team into a division entirely dedicated in scientists researching and crafting the best Extreme Gear that come in several amazing varieties. The standard board types. A bike types. Skates. Air Ride. Yacht. Even wheels. Just quick glances at these different Gears left the kids utterly amazed, with someone like Ruby extremely eager to try them all out.

"Wow! Didn't know Extreme Gear could come in so many shapes and sizes!" Ruby commented.

"Neither did I before Tails showed them off to me. Immediately got my people working on our own Extreme Gear technology. These babies are capable of breaking the sound barrier in seconds even if one's designed as a bathtub! Really looking forward showing 'em off in the Grand Prix during this year's Stark Expo." Stark said, explaining how he became knowledgeable of Extreme Gears, "Before that, you amateurs need to learn how to be the best on one."

Not long after, Stark leads the gang into a massive testing chamber. It looks so plain and boring, at first. "Check it." Stark got them focusing on a nearby computer console with a button that he swiftly presses.

BGM-Sonic Riders OST-Theme of Metal City

Then, in a fascinatingly awesome way that amazes the kids, the entire chamber is encompassed with digital wireframes that morphs it section by section, rematerializing everything into an experimental cyberspace-themed racing course that got the kids expressing, "Whoooooa…"

"Let's get some practice races done. For those who needs a tutorial, just ring up JARVIS." Tony suggested.

'I'm ready if you're ready.' announced JARVIS, the butler AI.

"Alright! Let's have ourselves some fun!" smiled Peter, presenting a fist for his friends to bump.

Sharing his enthusiasm, the Dimensional Avengers share a fist bump shouting, "YEAH! as they are ready to train for the World Grand Prix.

Training begins with Sonic and JARVIS teaching Blake how to ride a slipstream that the hedgehog's producing in the wake of his extreme speed. 'Catch up with rivals by riding on their Turbulence!' advised the AI, prompting Blake to push into it from the side, struggling as she finds herself surfing on its trails. 'Turbulence also has other benefits! So take full advantage!' He said, just as Blake begins to get the hang of turbulence surfing.

Right after Mary Jane successfully pulls off a Kick Dash on her Stark Board that granted her a burst of speed, Peter outmaneuvers her right before navigating a sharp turn then getting consumed by a tornado dropped by a smirking Weiss in the lead. 'Be careful of how much Air energy you use. Use too much will result in your Gear running out of Air.' JARVIS lends another tip to the racers, just as Weiss finds herself running out of Air and stranded. 'Keep a lookout for Air Pits stationed throughout the track to refill your Air Tank.' He directed the heiress to the nearest Air Pit. 'You can also refill your tank by performing tricks.' He advised, with Tails demonstrating by performing awesome tricks after jumping off a ramp.

Quick and surely enough, the team's skills are improving. Most of them are getting a hang on how Extreme Gears work, resulting in each of them having loads of fun. Ruby smiles while her speedy Gear grinds atop a rail. Weiss is amazed of the height her flying Gear can achieve in the air as she takes shortcuts by riding through Accelerators. And Yang just can't help herself knocking down obstacles in the way of her powerful Gear. All the girls are catching up to the more experienced air-riders that are Sonic and Tails, and to a lesser extent, Peter in a fun race that has reached its final lap. Peter's in the lead, only for Sonic to suddenly knock him back to last place with a Spin Dash and shoot a mocking smirk that swiftly enrages the vigilante to catch up. With an insane speed burst combined with acrobatic spider-skills that overtakes all including Sonic's lead for a brief moment, Peter retorts with his own cocky smirk that immediately encourages Sonic to speed up himself. Both the spider and hedgehog trick off the same ramp at the same time, with both sharing a happy smile as they cross the finish line together. Ruby found herself amazed by her friends' extreme skills, while at the same time feels disappointed she couldn't keep up with two heroes that she has come to idolize lately.

BGM End

"Could see from here you kids are getting a hang at extreme racing!" smiled Tony, having watched their skills improve from the sidelines as they approach both him and Pepper.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Fleeting Peace

"It was a breeze. And it felt good too, falling free in the wind." Yang commented on her amazing experience with Extreme Gear.

"So that's what it felt like to be speed of light…Have to admit, that was a lot of fun." Blake smiled while jumping off her Gear.

"It has a learning curve, but I can definitely see myself enjoying this for a long time." Weiss described her experience.

"With every race I just keep better! Can't wait to win the Grand Prix just like before!" Sonic said, doing a quick pose of how excited he is for the tournament.

"Actually, it was Jet that won." Tails casually reminded his bro.

"I would've won if those birdbrains didn't CHEAT!" Sonic snapped back.

"Still don't see you winning this tournament. Before you know it, they'll be calling this Spider the Fastest Thing Alive." Peter taunts his friendly hedgehog rival.

Sonic scoffs, "You're faster ending relationships with girls than beating me."

"That's cold, bro."

"The truth hurts, man."

"We'll decide who's the fastest in the multiverse during the Prix. Keep your brutal taunts 'til then." Tony advised them.

BGM End

"In the multiverse? I thought this tournament would decide who's the fastest on Earth." questioned MJ, confused on what he meant by that statement.

"You didn't know? Huh. Could've sworn I announced this would be a Multiversal Grand Prix." Tony casually said.

BGM-Sonic Riders OST-Get Ready for the Big Event

"WHAAAAAAAAAT?!" All the Dimensional Avengers shouted with the utmost surprise at his casual announcement that the DX World Grand Prix is really the DX Multiversal Grand Prix.

"You really didn't know?! Thought I told Peter." The surprised Tony expressed.

"I thought you were kidding!" Peter retorted.

"I thought so too, but no." said Pepper with a stern cross-armed glance at her boss, "Tony's serious about hosting a tournament to see who's the best of the best with Extreme Gear throughout our three dimensions."

"And beyond." Tony joked.

"Let's not." Pepper quickly shut him down.

"The DX 'Multiversal' Grand Prix…? That's crazy!" Ruby commented.

"I've had multiversal tournaments before. What encouraged you to form your own?" The curious Sonic asked Stark.

"Thought it'd be fun." Tony quipped, "Did feel a little bad when Remnant's Vytal Festival was cancelled thanks to Osborn's shenanigans. The ISO-8, the recent symbiote invasion, all really put a strain on our dimensional relationship. This is the best way for our worlds to collide without them literally smashing into each other, though this was a bit of a last-minute decision."

"Have you even begun advertising this to our worlds?! The tournament's only a month away!" Weiss retorted.

"Don't worry, Snowflake, got it all under control. Could even hire Sonic as my interdimensional spokesperson." Tony jokingly suggested.

Sonic grins, "That does sound like a perfect excuse for me to explore all three worlds."

"You're hired." Tony hired the hedgehog, just like that.

"Sweet!"

"Good idea. I think we should ALL apply for a summer job." Weiss suggested to her friends.

"Why? Summer's meant for relaxing." Yang quipped.

"It'd be a good learning experience. I know at least some of us plan on going on multiple shopping sprees, not to mention the entry fee for the Grand Prix. There's no way Peter will afford all of that for us. He's already beyond poor." Weiss pointed a casual thumb at Peter as she talks, "Getting a summer job is the least we should do to repay him and his Aunt for our freeloading." She calmly listed out good reasons that her friends can't really argue against.

"Wha-?" The confused Peter did a double take at the insult she casually thrown into her argument before turning to his friends, "She's outta line, but she's right. C'mon, I say you guys should do it. At the very least volunteer work. I know some places that could use the people right away."

Smiling, Ruby asks, "Alright. Where do you recommend?"

Later…

BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-Empire City (Day)

A humble Chinese man by the name of Martin Li is unloading boxes inside a homeless shelter known as FEAST. Homeless people reside in sleeping bags and other small beds across the floor of the main room, which is being traversed through by Peter and Blake, the former giving polite greetings to several homeless people that he has befriended considering his Aunt May is one of the center's best workers.

"Martin! It's me!" Peter shouted, earning the man's pleasant attention.

"Peter!" Martin shakes hands with the teen before noticing Blake, "This the girl you called me about?"

"Yeah. Her name's Blake Belladonna. She's interested in working here for the summer. Blake, this is Martin Li, owner of FEAST." said Peter, introducing them both to each other.

"A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Li." Blake smiles while shaking her new boss's hand, "What can I do to help?"

"Why don't you start just by getting comfortable with the place. Meet a few people, you'll love them. You know what…" Martin gestures her to the nearest coffee with a warm smile on his face, "Everybody loves coffee."

"Coffee. Alright." Blake heads over to grab the coffee carafe.

"And I'll be back in a little while to check on you, is that alright?" asked Martin.

Before giving a response, Blake looks at a weird homeless man that seems to be suffering schizophrenia, "Yeah…"

"Oh, don't worry about Mr. Hodges. He doesn't bite. Much." quipped Martin before exiting the building to attend to other, certainly non-negative business.

"You sure…?" An unsure Blake muttered. Regardless, with silent encouragement from Peter, she begins her new job helping these poor homeless people feel right at home.

With Yang…

Like Blake, other members of the Dimensional Avengers have sought out and already earned a job in the same day, such as Yang working as a delivery girl at a busy pizza parlor. "You're the only delivery girl here right now, so you must deliver everything! Don't be late!" ordered Mr. Aziz, owner of Joe's Pizza.

Yang happily salutes to her new boss retorting, "You got it, Mr. Aziz! I'll deliver these pizzas before you know it!" And she will. Despite carrying a backpack full of freshly-baked pizzas, it's not slowing Yang down a bit as she's also using this job to help her train for the Multiversal Grand Prix, flying over traffic on her Extreme Gear and hollering with extreme excitement as she delivers pizzas left and right in record time.

With Ruby, Weiss, and Tails…

"Sure you want to do this, Weiss?" asked Pepper Potts.

"I know you deserve a vacation. This is also an opportunity for me to learn how to run a business." Weiss responded.

Now working as Tony Stark's second personal assistant, Weiss accompanies Pepper in a testing chamber where Stark is testing out a new Iron Man Armor. This one is Model 42. The technologically advanced black-and-gold Armor 616. Powered by numerous Arc Reactors and composed of liquid smart-metal, this suit has access to a modular ability that allows him to adapt to different technologies built by his newest intern, Tails, and latest employee, Ruby.

"Ready when you are, kids." said Iron Man, deploying an army of his Iron Drones for target practice.

"Try out the repulsor mini-gun!" Ruby excitedly recommended, which was expertly used by Stark in blowing up a Drone.

"Hacking unit." Suggested next by Tails, with Stark switching to a different module via mobile armory that disables shields with a single repulsor.

"Wrist missiles!" exclaimed Ruby, with the aforementioned missiles blowing up squadrons of Drones and nearly catching both scared personal assistants in the crossfire.

"Anti-electric counter measure shields!" said Tails, with Iron Man deflecting lasers with an energy shield that responds with a full burst of electricity.

"New armor's feeling beautiful. How 'bout you ladies over there?" Stark turned to his personal assistants.

"YOUR TEST NEARLY BLEW US UP!" Weiss angrily shouted at her new boss.

"Never took tests that extreme during high school." quipped Stark, leaving the heiress quite annoyed and Pepper nervously laughing.

With Sonic…

"HEY THERE PEOPLE OF THREE WORLDS! SONIC THE HEDGEHOG HERE WITH AN AWESOME PRESENT AND SOME AWESOME NEWS!" While riding his Extreme Gear, the attractive Blue Blur speeds through the skies of Earth, Mobius, and Remnant in rapid succession with his portal tech. Over every major city across the three worlds, he scatters tons of Grand Prix promotional material that swiftly earns the excited attention of thousands of people. "Getting bored running around? I know I'm never! Then spend this summer air-riding through the DX World Grand Prix! A tournament to decide who's the fastest of the fastest on Extreme Gear!" He announced to a flying camera that's broadcasting on a multiversal scale, "But it's not just to decide who's the fastest in the world, but the fastest in the multiverse! A race with little rules and tons of fun! Think you got what it takes? Entry fee shouldn't be TOO expensive, which will be MORE than made up with an enormous cash prize! Looking forward to the challenge! TRY TO KEEP UP!" He signed off before spending his new free time racing along some Remnant mountains.

With Peter…

"Hi Pete. Pictures for the boss?" asked Betty Brant, the beautiful secretary of the Daily Bugle speaking to their star photographer that is walking in after helping his friends get jobs.

"Actually, I'm hoping he might have an assignment for me." Peter hoped.

"Well, he's in a pretty good mood today. Maybe you'll get lucky. Go ahead in." Betty smiled, allowing her friend entry into their gruff boss's office.

Inside the publisher's office is one blustering, bombastic J. Jonah Jameson that has a tremendous bias against vigilantes, most specifically Spider-Man that he loves to treat as the city's number one menace. "Stark just loves showing off his money! Still can't believe that Armored Nutcase wants to host a multi-World Grand Prix!" He commented on his own newspaper that he's reading, "Also hearing that media-grabbing, glory-seeker Spider-Man wants to race too! Ha! Lunatic has trouble saving kittens yet he thinks he can win a race?"

"I think he has a chance."

Upon hearing that familiarly annoying voice of a photographer, Jameson puts away his paper to look at Peter. "Oh, Parker. I don't pay you for your opinion, Parker, I pay you for PHOTOS!" He expressed with a fist slamming on his desk.

"Well, I-."

"Let me guess? You don't have any pictures do you?"

"Uh…"

"You're fired!" Jameson proclaimed, much to his employee's minimal shock, "Come back when you get me shots of that red-and-blue wacko!" He ordered before going back to his paper.

'I think that's the third time JJ fired me this week.' quipped Peter in his thoughts as he walks out of his boss's office, 'Aren't I freelance? It's not legal to fire me when I don't REALLY work here.'

"Peter. Everything going okay?" asked by another co-worker of Peter's, Robbie Robertson, a kind newspaper editor that knows for a fact Spider-Man is a hero and is concerned about Peter's wellbeing.

"Hey Robbie." Peter shamelessly rubs his head before his friend.

"Jonah beating you up again?" Robbie chuckles, "Don't mind him. Listen, I have a job you can do for me. We need a picture for a story. I want a high shot of the whole city. Here, if you have a map handy I'll mark where I'd like you to take the picture. Can you get it for me?"

"Sure thing, Robbie. I'll be back before you know it. Thanks." nodded Peter, happy to be given work.

BGM-Sonic Heroes OST-Monkey Business

But before the hidden vigilante could leave the premise, there was just one last thing that immediately caught his attention. "Hellooooo!" sang Yang right after opening the entrance into the Daily Bugle to grab the attention of its employees, "Who here ordered the pepperoni?!"

"Thanks! I was starving!" An employee simply by the name of Hoffman approach to grab his pizza box.

Suddenly, a smiling Yang gazes at the sight of her ex-boyfriend, "Hey Petey-Poo! Forgot you work here." She greeted him in front of his co-workers, some laughing at his expense.

"Petey-Poo?" snickered Robbie, with a groaning Peter facepalming in complete embarrassment and regret of getting her a job.

Back in Stark Industries…

Ruby continues to help testing out Iron Man's new armor, this time engaging him in a high-speed sparring match that Stark handles with ease. "You're pretty good." said Stark while calmly deflecting all her fierce scythe swings with his gauntlets. Their match is pushed through the training room with both Tails and Weiss watching from the sidelines. "Quite quick with the petals!" He joked, swiftly materializing a wrist energy blade that knocks down the huntress with a single swing, leaving her exhausted and beaten by the experienced hero.

"Alright, that's enough training for today. It's getting late. Time to clock out." Weiss announced.

"I'll catch up!" Ruby waved, prompting her friends to leave her and Tony alone. "It was awesome training with you, Mr. Stark." She told him with a smile.

"You're welcome. Not half-bad on your first day. The new weapons you built for me are top-quality stuff." Stark complimented her craftmanship.

"They have to be if I want to be as good as Peter." Ruby retorted.

"As good as him? When were you two competing?" asked Tony, very curious about her newfound competitive nature.

"It's more one-sided, on my side. I guess, well…since I first found out he was Spider-Man." Ruby frowns as she reminisces her friendship and respect for the Webslinger, "It was shocking when I did, and it was awesome hearing about all of his amazing adventures saving the world and fighting supervillains every day. Same is said about Sonic." She shifts into thinking about the Blue Blur and his achievements, "He's my age, yet done so much more than me. He's more skilled and faster than I will ever be."

"Must be jealous." Tony quipped.

"I'm not! I'm just envious!" Ruby snapped.

"Same thing."

Ignoring his little wisecrack, Ruby continues expressing out her feelings, "I grew up on stories about heroes and dreamed of being one. Sonic and Spidey, they're two of the greatest heroes I was lucky enough to meet but around my age! They're in a league of their own. I dunno if I'll ever be as good as them…"

"Listen, Ruby." Stark opens up his faceplate to have a better, heart-to-heart conversation with the little huntress, "Gotta understand that those two have been through a lot while you're still a novice. Peter never wanted to be a hero, but suddenly got the power and been doing his best being one for two years. And from what I've heard, Sonic's been a freedom fighter since he was a kid. You just completed your first year at Beacon. No need to rush experience."

"I know…Guess I am a little jealous. I just want to be like them." Ruby admitted.

"You can be better." Stark advised, much to her shock. "Those two aren't perfect. No need to limit yourself. Just keep hanging around them and you'll be surprised what you learn and improve upon." He said, leaving Ruby with some good advice that she hopes will be helpful throughout her new goal of being the greatest hero beyond Sonic and Spider-Man.

Out in the City…

"Aaaaand done!" said Spider-Man taking a picture of the city from the tippity top of a skyscraper with his camera, "Those should be enough for Robbie. Time to take these pics back to the Bugle and pray they'll earn me a paycheck."

BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-Empire City (Night)

The Amazing Webslinger jumps off the skyscraper into a skydive, falling and falling without worry until he reaches buildings that he can shoot a webline at one. He swings through the peaceful city, loving the night sky so much that it's helping him think about recent events, 'The DX World Grand Prix…A tournament to decide who's the fastest in the multiverse. Between that and everyone having jobs, this summer's looking to be crazy fun. I am glad the others seem to be adjusting. Some of them may not like the rules, but if they're going to be living in this dimension for a while, they need to learn to adapt like I did in their worlds. A big reason why I was chosen to be team leader. Still don't know if I have what it takes to be a decent one. I wasn't able to maintain my interdimensional relationship with Yang and I'm hesitant to restart. How can I keep a whole team stable? Only time will tell.'

BGM End

As the Web Warrior continues his fun swinging through the night, something quite mysterious begins to surround him. A purple fog appears out of thin air, being seen by no one but Spider-Man as he's taken aback by it, "Huh? What the-?" Suddenly, tendrils erupt from the fog, entangling him limb by limb as he struggles to break free from their unusual strength. "This fog…Wait! This feels familiar." He noticed, before he is thrown down a vortex of mystical and familiar origin.

After falling down screaming for brief few moments, the vortex drops Spider-Man into a cozy apartment somewhere in the city. He groans, taking a moment to process what just happened and where he ended up and how he got here. All his questions were answered with a simple, deadpan delivery from a female elder saying, "Get up. I just got this room cleaned."

As he does, Spider-Man realizes in shock of who summoned him, "It's you…Madame Web."

BGM-Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions OST-Web of Destiny

That's right. Sitting across the room from him on her spider-like life-support chair is Cassandra Webb, more famously known as the mysterious Madame Web. She is one of Spider-Man's most powerful allies, and a mentor to the ever-growing hero. A gifted medium, telepath, and a clairvoyant among other mystical abilities, she is privy to many of the multiverse's greatest secrets.

"It has been a long time, Peter Parker." Madame Web greeted the young hero with a smile.

"Certainly has been a while. Nice apartment. Happy to see you're doing okay. Whatcha been up to?" asked Peter, engaging in a friendly conversation with the elderly spider.

"Oh you know, keeping a constant watch over the Web of Life while paying the rent. I know you'll be suffering the same problem for a very long time." Webb quipped deadpannedly.

"Thanks for the spoiler." Peter snarked before switching topics, "But I know you didn't summon me to check out your apartment. What's going on?"

Sporting a serious expression to emphasize what she is about to tell her champion, Madame Web tells him, "A great challenge unlike anything you have experienced before awaits you. A Masterful Evil has plagued our dimension that only you and your team of Avengers can stop."

"Seriously? C'mon Web, it's the SUMMMER! I REALLY need this vacation. Why don't you bother another team of Avengers to help you?" Peter complained, not in the mood in saving the universe again.

"Because you're a member of most of them! Protecting the borders that separate our realities is why your Dimensional Avengers were formed in the first place!" Webb retorted.

Spidey exasperates, "Fine! But what is a bigger threat to our dimensions than ISO-8, Cosmic Cubes, Incursions, and Symbiotes?"

"An unimaginable and terrifying power that shouldn't exist yet has come into existence in eight ways because of the fallout of recent calamities. It won't be long until you encounter Chaos in the streets, coming in two different forms." Webb cryptically warns him of the Exo Stones.

"Would ask to elaborate, but I know you won't give me anything beyond cryptic and confusing." Spidey quipped.

"Like before during the Goblin crisis, I will do my best to aid you when the moment comes. This new threat that is being weave threatens the web that all Spiders cling to." Webb claimed.

"I'm sure it does. Before I go, there's just one more question I have." Peter said.

"And what might that be?" A curious Webb responded.

"Will I get a new girlfriend?"

"PARKER!"

"Okay, I was just kidding! Kinda." Peter joked as he heads toward a window, "Look, I'll keep an eye out for anything dimension-ending, and if I find it, my team and I will deal with it smooth and quick. I want to at least TRY to enjoy my summer break." He said before leaping out the window shouting, "Good night, Madame Web!" as he resumes his web-swinging through the peaceful night.

"Yes. Get some sleep. You're going to need it for tomorrow. From here on out, you are crossing the road…to Spider-Island." Madame Web ominously muttered, having read the dreadful future Spider-Man and his friends will experience.
