Lotus Flower

As the story progress, a slight deviation may changes the history we know. A woman born in 21st century found herself in a world of assassination, murder and secret. She vows to never involved herself, knowing she was but a stranger. She know how it all began, and she know how it will all end. But, a look from a young boy caused her heart to falter.

…. A silent pause.

"Hatake Kakashi? Wasn't he one of the elite ninja?" Kaera's voice almost rose in pitch.

Madam Chiari quickly slapped her palm on her mouth to shush her. She glares at Kaera, "All the more reason he is the perfect candidate."

Kaera frowned.

"If the Lord knows you are married to one of the best ninja, he can't exactly order for an annulment in fear of damaging the relationship with the Hidden Village. Even more when he is one of the Hokage's favorite."

Kaera's face slowly morphed into understanding. It does make a lot of sense if Hatake-san is the one who is her spouse. If she was married to a nobody, the Lord can use his power to take her from her husband no matter how in love they were. After all, who can defy the ruler of a country?

"B-But, is it fair to Hatake-san?"

Madam Chiari's eyes soften at Kaera's question. This is one of the reason she loves the young lady dearly. Even when it her own well-being was at risk, she still concern for others.

"Maybe not. But it isn't for you either, my child. Perhaps you can make the better out of this situation.

I have honored your request, Hatake-san. Surely it is not much to ask the same?

I am curious about the famous Untainted Flower.

Why? Is it so rare to hear a flower that was yet to be tainted?

Not a flower that grown in the middle of mud. It's bound to be dirtied by the dirt sooner or later.

Perhaps. Maybe it won't be so if there is a noble warrior who can come and pluck the flower before it was tainted.
