A Daily Bugle Reporter announced on live television, as footage of many New Yorkers expressing their newfound spider-abilities is being broadcast throughout the globe, 'And are New Yorkers upset? According to our sources, most people are thrilled! Back to you, Bob.'

BGM-Spider-Man 2 (Game) OST- Ballad in City (Part 1)

Sticking to a building is the original wallcrawler Spider-Man watching the newsfeed on his cellphone. He still couldn't believe what just happened to his city as he mutters, "So yesterday there were only three people with spider-powers: Me, Jessica Drew, and Julia Carpenter. Four if Madame Web counts. Today? 1.5 million." He said, watching several spider-powered civilians just swinging pass him, "What could possibly go wrong?"

Out of nowhere the Avenger is accidently smacked by a suitcase belonging to a swinging Spider-Business Man. "Hey! Watch where you're sticking, buddy. People work in this building." He told the hero before climbing into a window.

"A city full of amateur spider-men. Warned Ruby this'd be a bad idea. This has gotta be J Jonah Jameson's worst nightmare." Spidey joked.

"AAAAAAAAAH!"

Amidst his mumblings is the scream of a scared spider-woman falling to her doom after failing to master web-swinging. Spidey leaps toward her rescue quipping, "Don't worry! There's a professional Spider in the house-!" but was cut off by Sonic the Hedgehog stealing the spotlight by using his new spider-powers to catch the citizen.

"Huh?! Who are you?" The Civilian asked her hedgehog savior.

Sonic smirks, "The Spectacular Spider-Hog at your service!" He drops the woman on a sidewalk where a crowd happily tries to get his autograph for being so cool and blue, much to his embarrassment, "C'mon, now you're all just embarrassing me. Gotta web and run!" The Spider-Hedgehog web-zips back into the air while his new fans take many pictures of him. He soon reunites with Peter on a rooftop, "There you are! Tol'ja I'd make for a cooler Spider-Man."

"It's official. You owe me $100 if you suck at it at the end." Peter quipped, placing a bet on who can be the best Spider.

"Deal." Sonic smiled, "How're your current/ex-girl doing?"

"They're being more of a handful than usual." Peter quipped, as both watch how two of their huntress friends are adjusting to their new powers.

Unsurprisingly, Yang is having the time of her life with her new spider-powers. She never felt so strong, so fast, so free, so sticky in her entire life. The daredevilish huntress skydives off a flagpole to web-swing happily through the neighborhood, laughing as she makes mad jumps toward a skyscraper to grind down smirkingly before leaping toward rooftops to jump and make awesome tricks across until she fires another webline to continue her web-slinging party.

Down on the streets is Blake effortlessly kicking the asses of thugs that were in the middle of a drug deal. With her newfound webs, she blinds a goon right before pummeling them all using her vastly superior agility. One goon survived her onslaught and tried to ambush her, and though Blake's Spider-Sense alerted her, she allowed the incoming Yang to web-swing kick him into her finishing spinkick.

"These powers are AMAZING! COMPLETELY SENSATIONAL! Never knew being a spider would be so much fun!" Yang expressed just how excitingly awesome having spider-powers are.

"The webs do come in handy. A lot stronger than my ribbons for sure." Blake smiled.

"I would like to have spider-powers!" Human Torch suddenly drops in on the girls alongside Spidey and Sonic, "Why don't I have spider-powers?"

"Because you with spider-fire powers mixed with a city full of spiders would be a recipe for disaster." Spidey quipped.

Yang giggles, "Have a little faith in New York. All of us are turning these powers into something good. Everyone else might too." She then slyly grins, "Unless someone also has spider-jealousy powers I didn't know about." She teased to embarrass him.

"I'm not jealous!" Spidey retorted, "It's just having powers isn't all fun and games."

"It's not?" Sonic claimed otherwise, "Relax, Webs. Today's a beautiful day. I doubt they'll be any big problems."

"That's a rookie mistake if I ever heard one."

Suddenly swinging into the conversation is Captain Yuri Watanabe as she too has been spider-powered. "Captain Watanabe. You have spider-powers too?" Spidey noticed.

"Who doesn't?" Yuri quipped, "Just glad you're not one of those Fakes causing ruckus at Midtown."

"There are more Spider-Thugs out there?" A shocked Spidey retorted.

"A whole army. This has become a city-wide epidemic. Mayor's getting ready to lock down the whole city to prevent this disease from spreading. It's getting so bad that the Avengers are getting involved. I was swinging my way to Midtown to help out." Yuri informed the heroes of the current situation.

"Then let's go together. 'Cause this looks like a job for…" Yang excitedly thwips out a webline that zips high into the air hollering, "YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-HUNTRESS AND HER AMAZING FRIENDS! WOO-HOO! Peace, y'all! SPIDERS OUT!"

Johnny smiles, "I love that girl. FLAME ON!" He powers up as he, Sonic, and Blake hurry to catch up with Yang to the major crime scene.

Meanwhile, Spidey just couldn't help himself from raising a very confused eyebrow at the ridiculousness his ex-girlfriend spouted out, "Trippy…So THAT'S what that feels like."

"Recommend you stay out of this one, Webs. Don't want you caught in the crossfire." Yuri suggested to her friend before she too swings off to join the fight.

"I appreciate the concern, Yuri, but I can't just sit on the sidelines. Too many people could get hurt." Peter muttered sternly to himself, "This is widespread, but how? Have to get to the bottom of this." With his mind made up and no one to stop him from doing something stupid, the Amazing Avenger swings off to help his friends deal with this spider-crisis.

BGM-Spider-Man 2 (Game) OST-Hung like a Spider

Just like Watanabe stated, Midtown has become infested with Spider-Thugs spreading chaos with their newfound powers. All these imposters are dressed in variously different Spider-Man costumes that frighten the poor citizens that were enjoying themselves in Bryant Park before the madness ensued.

"YEE-HAA!"

"Hey, you! Gimme your wallet!"

"Where the hell's that falafel cart? 'Could go for a falafel."

"Yeah, you better run! Check it out! I can do ANYTHING!"

Caught in the middle of this crazy is Mary Jane Watson who is in disbelief that something weird again is ruining her summer vacation, "I swear, if we're doing the clone thing again…" Her annoyance is then suddenly interrupted by the sight of a kid about to be crushed by a massive object a Spider-Thug is holding. "That kid!" Using her newfound spider-powers, MJ leapt gracefully to his rescue before he could be crushed, "Don't worry! I gotcha! You're gonna be okay."

"Quick thinking, Red." said a Spider-Imposter.

"Tiger? Is that you?" MJ wondered if that's Peter behind that mask.

"Oh, I'll be your tiger, pussycat. I'll be anything you want." The Thug creeps over for a kiss that MJ is too disgusted to share.

"That ain't no way to treat a lady, pal!" Suddenly coming to her rescue is The Thing smacking the creep out of his sights while Tails flies in catching MJ.

"You all right, MJ?" Tails asked while gently letting her down.

"I'm fine, Tails! But that's not important. What's going on? And where's Peter?" MJ retorted.

"He was with Sonic last I heard. I'm sure he's okay." Tails assured her.

There're more heroes where that came from thanks to the shadowy crimefighter Cloak, using his darkforce powers to teleport in various members of the Avengers, New Avengers, Dimensional Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and Dagger to help bring back order to their city. "This is the epicenter of the disturbance." Cloak told his superfriends.

"Perfect, Cloak. You did good." Luke Cage complimented him.

"So? What's the plan?" Weiss asked.

"Whattya think? EVERYONE, ASSEMBLE!" Hawkeye ordered everyone to start kicking ass.

Tails teams up with Dagger against several spider-thugs, with the young fox smacking them with his namesakes before allowing them to be stunned by Dagger's light daggers, giving him enough time to fire newly-developed impact webbing that ensnares a group for Jessica Jones to brutally uppercut. Ruby's having a blast using her newfound spider-powers as she just learned to craft a scythe made out of her own webs that she immediately uses for a series of twirling slashes. A Spider-Thug surprises the huntress with a kick to the face, which is quickly followed up by Iron Fist punching him away for Invisible Woman to encase in a forcefield so Ruby could return with a fierce Web-Strike to his gut. Iron Man flies over crowds while barraging thugs with repulsors until one web-throws him to a building. Weiss and Luke Cage hurry to his aid, with the former freezing goons in ice for the latter to roaringly smash across the neighborhood.

Captain America was on his own fending off the Spider-Thugs that surround him. He knocks down a few with shield throws and pummels others with his new spider-enhanced super-soldier strength. But even a Spider-Super Soldier can't last forever against an army of spiders, at least not alone as Sonic rushes to his aid with fearsome Homing Attacks that knocks out many in a blink of an eye.

"Thanks for the assist, Sonic. Sorry this is ruining your vacation." Steve smiled.

"You kidding? I'm having way too much fun showing off on these fakers!" Sonic quipped, before using his Spider-Sense to awesomely counter an attack from an imposter with a high-speed blurry flurry of spectacular blows, "This Spider-Sense stuff is such a thrill. Like everything's moving in super slow motion."

The rest of his group finally arrived to the fight, with Captain Watanabe leading the NYPD in a counterattack while Human Torch assist with fireballs. One Spider-Thug hurls a massive truck at civilians fleeing and screaming for their lives, only for Yang to intervene with an impressive catch using her sensational spider-strength, allowing Blake free reign in dispatching the criminal with a web-zipping slash.

"There's too many of them! Hundreds! And all just as powerful as Spider-Man!" Dagger noted they are in a losing battle despite the police backing them up.

"Count your blessings, Dagger. At least they're not making any of Webhead's lame jokes!" quipped Hawkeye while firing an arrow at an imposter.

"Speak for yourself, Hawkeye! Ask me, that'd give me a reason to pound on 'em more!" Luke Cage joked as he promptly pounds on a scared faker.

"Cage! How can you kid at a time like this? We are so outnumbered!" Blake exclaimed.

"Wrong, rookie. I'm the Hulk! THEY'RE outnumbered!" Hulk retorted.

Spider-Woman sighs, "Of all the arrogant-."

"Shut up, all of ya! And get to work!" Wolverine furiously ordered them to continue fighting back.

BGM-Spider-Man 3 (Game) OST-Lizard Tension (Part 1)

Unbeknownst to the heroes, since they're too busy beating on Spider-Fakes, the real Spider-Man finally arrives to help, "Hey gang! Guess who showed up late for the party?" The Webslinger swings near Weiss and quickly notice a chunk of her hair was shaved off after Ruby was stuck on it earlier, "Hey Ice Queen! Like your haircut!"

"You don't get to like my haircut!" retorted Weiss, furiously manifesting a large ice sword that smacks Peter to the ground thinking he's one of the imposters.

Peter grunts, "Weiss, no…It's me!" As he stands near Thing through his grogginess, he tries announcing to everyone, "TIME OUT! With the kicking and the punching and the what-not! This's me over here! The real Spider-Man!"

"Riiiight…Like I ain't heard that five times already!" Thing quipped as he smacks away his real webslinging friend, with Iron Fist following up with a powerful punch that strikes down the non-fake Spidey.

'Damn it, guys…We've been friends since forever…Don't any of you recognize me…?' Spidey thought, struggling to stay conscious while lying on the ground from the pain his friends accidently put him through.

'Not amidst this chaotic mess.' Madame Web then surprises her champion with a telepathic quip.

'Madame Web! This is what you warned me about, isn't it? That Stone…and these spider-fakes…causing chaos on the streets.' Spidey realized her prediction was true after all.

'Indeed. You should have followed Captain Watanabe's advice and left this to your friends. I saw you'd be struck down by your own friends and teammates if you intervened.' Madame Web told him.

'Why didn't you tell me earlier?!' Spidey retorted.

'I couldn't. There are greater forces at work here.'

'No, you just enjoy watching me suffer!'

'The Web of Life, the Threads of Destiny, they must be preserved. For you Spider-Man, my champion, have learned the first lesson of Spider-Island: Even though you shoulder great responsibility, while you are here, all of your great powers are absolutely…meaningless.' proclaimed Madame Web, as Peter can't argue with much besides pained groans.

"D-Darn…" And yet Peter refuses to sit this one down. He wants to help. He wants to continue helping to the best of his great power. All he needs is a hero that recognizes him. A friend that is nearby with enhanced hearing that is considerate enough for his lowly plead. Someone like his new girlfriend Blake taking down imposters. "HEY! Black Shadowcat…a little help! Got some fish for you to bite…assuming they aren't bruised like I am…" He shouted to her as loud as he can in his weakened state.

Lucky enough, Blake heard him and seemed to recognize his voice as she mutters, "Peter?" The Black Cat hurries to his side yet remains cautious in case he's another fake. "Spidey! Is that you? The real you?" She asked.

"No, it's Adam Taurus…" Peter joked.

"Yeah, that's you." Blake snarked deadpannedly before helping him stand, "Here. Let me help you up."

Hawkeye notices this and shouts, "Belladonna?! What're you doing? You nuts? That's one of the bad guys!"

"No, Hawkeye, it's not. This one is the TRUE Spider-Man." Blake announced to her allies.

And to confirm she's telling the truth, Wolverine walks up to take a sniff of his webbed teammate, "Yeah. He's ours. Plus he ate a cherry pop tart."

BGM-Sonic Heroes OST-Disquieting Shadow

"Shh. I didn't bring enough for everybody." Peter quipped, struggling to stand on his two tired feet, "Just give me a sec…And I'll jump in and lend a hand-."

"NO!" Cage shouted.

"No?" Peter retorted, feeling a lot better now to argue, "What do you mean 'No'?"

"You're in no condition to fight." Cage refuted as he punches another imposter.

Peter quips, "Well, sure! Not after Weiss sworded me, and Thing and Iron Fist played whack-a-mole with my skull!"

"And why was that? 'Cause there's too many damn Spider-Men here already! Beat it, kid. You'd just get in the way." Cage angrily ordered his teammate to leave the battle.

"In this specific scenario, he does have a point." Mister Fantastic stretched himself to talk to Peter.

"Yeah. We can't worry every time we smack one a' these guys we might be caving in your webbed head." Thing said.

"Just get outta the way, Webs! We got this! Go take pictures and enjoy the show from the side!" Sonic advised his friend.

"But…" Spidey wants to continue arguing, but his friends are right. He'd just get in the way if he sticks around. So with a depressed shrug, he walks away from the war zone quipping, "Fine. Be that way. You can all play your little reindeer games…I know when I'm not wanted."

Having been refused participation in the epic Battle of Bryant Park, Spider-Man hid in an alleyway to change back into plain old boring Peter Parker that somberly watches the Heroes of New York, and his own interdimensional teammates, enjoying a ferocious battle against hundreds of Spider-Men.

'How did this happen? Seriously? This has to be the single weirdest day of my so-called super hero "career." We're in the throes of Spider-Pocalypse out here, and I just got benched?!' Peter thought, still wanting to help out just don't know how yet.

Meanwhile, Mary Jane wanders through the safe zone while glancing at the chaos and destruction wrought upon by those Spider-Fakes. It wasn't long until she questioned a depressed Peter walking out of the alleys, "Peter?" then hurries to ask him, "What're you doing? The fight's over there." while pointing him to the chaotic war zone.

"Not my fight." Peter said.

"Not your fight? Our friends need your help against those fakers!" MJ retorted.

"Can't help them if they think I'M one of those fakes." Peter snarked, "Right now, I'm just an…ordinary guy. Nothing special. Look around."

"You're wrong. NOBODY'S ordinary today. I have spider-powers just like you now. We have to do SOMETHING to help." MJ argued sternly.

"Like what?" Peter retorted.

"OUTTA THE WAY, PARKER!"

"Huh?"

BGM-Sonic Forces OST-Action on the Rails

Both Peter and MJ look up in shock upon watching Flash Thompson web-swinging over their heads as he leads his fellow spider-students into the fray. "Flash with spider-powers? What're you doing?!" Peter asked his bully, while a little terrified to see his bully share his powers.

"Fulfilling a dream!" quipped Flash, entering the war zone with a brutal web-strike that knocks out a spider-thug, "Everyone knows I'm Spidey's biggest fan! No way I'd let ANYONE tarnish his name! SPIDEY FAN CLUB, KICK SOME ASS IN THE NAME OF OUR HERO!" He ordered his group to fight in Spidey's honor.

"Man just loves to go overboard, doesn't he?"

Suddenly joining Peter and MJ's side is Liz Allan holding her cellphone as if she's livestreaming the whole fight. "Liz? What are you doing?" Peter asked his former crush.

"Flash wanted me to stream this on YouTube so everyone in the whole world knows how big a Spidey fan he is." Liz answered, until she gets an idea that has her turning to Pete, "Want to do this for me, Petey? You ARE the expert in photographing Spider-Man."

"Hmm…" Peter accepted as he's given the phone. One confused look at the phone got Peter thinking, racing with ideas that he's piecing together. He shoots an observant glance at Flash and their fellow classmates using their spider-powers to help against the criminals. Then he shoots another curious glance at bystanders that are using their spider-powers to stay out of harm's way. With them in mind, he pieces together the puzzle. A solution that might help them beat back this crisis.

"I GOT IT!" Peter happily exclaimed.

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-SA2 (Ver. C)

"Got what?" asked MJ, with both her and Liz blinking their confused eyes.

"MJ, stream me! On me in three!" Peter hurriedly tosses the cellphone to MJ, who remains confused but goes along with whatever plan Peter hatched in that beautiful brain of his.

"What's this about?" Liz asked her crush.

Peter just smiles, "A way to help." as he's confident his secret plan will save the city.

BGM-Sonic Battle OST-Eggman Plots

"OOOHOHOHOHO! It's done! What a huge success!" Doctor Eggman laughed himself happily in the throne room because of what is being broadcasted on holographic TV. It's spider-mayhem at New York that the likes of Doctor Doom, Salem and her Spider-King slave, are quietly enjoying while their annoying egg-doctor ally continues to boast, "Our Spider-Virus has completely overtaken the city and its heroes are too pathetic to do anything about it! I had my doubts, but the Jackal's flash mob is proving that a Spider-Army can be formidable. Now Otto is free to harvest this dimension's ISO-8. Soon we'll be all-powerful for anyone to stop us!"

"Let us not get overzealous." Salem calmly advised him.

"Why's that?" Eggman retorted.

"Pride comes before the fall. We have fought these heroes enough times to know this won't do them in. Not yet." Salem claimed, remaining cautious.

"Ha. Have you seen the news? Our army hasn't even fully evolved and they're being massacred. I bet they won't last another few minutes." Eggman believed with sheer arrogance.

'Hey, if you're watching this, you know what's going on.'

"Huh?" Eggman suddenly finds himself confused upon hearing, then looking at Peter Parker appear on the newsfeed.

"You're on." Salem snarked, grinningly accepting the bet he just lost.

Spider-King snarls looking up at the projection displaying Peter, who he mysteriously seems to recognize, "Peeeeterrrr…Parrrrkerrrr…"

BGM-Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 OST-Character Select (Dynamic)

All villains have their eyes glued to the screen, as each of them stare apathetically at whatever nonsense Parker is about to tell New York City. 'Some New Yorkers woke up today with spider-powers, and now they're tearing the city apart. And all over the world, no one's asking, "Why would they do that?" Because everybody knows New Yorkers are loud, rude, and obnoxious jerks! Well, guess what? The rest of the world is WRONG.' Peter jumps up in a spider-blitz to perch atop a streetlight, ''Cause today, like a lot of you, I found out that I've got spider-powers too! And I'm gonna do my part! My name's Peter Parker, I'm a native New Yorker, and when I look around this city, I don't see a bunch a' jerks. Know what I see? Teachers, nurses, cops, parents, neighbors, friends, good people who give their all! Everywhere I look, I SEE HEROES! Now let's show 'em this didn't just happen to the jerks, it happened to the real New Yorkers too! And that today, we're not just heroes…WE'RE SUPER HEROS!'

"NO NO NO!" Eggman furiously stomps the floor in a childish hissy-fit, "Darn you, Parker brat! You're making me lose a bet!"

"ENOUGH, Eggman!" Doom's imposing voice was enough to instantly calm his fellow doctor, "That boy is doing us a favor. His little speech will help accelerate our plans." He takes out the Espeon Stone for a quick usage of its psychic abilities, "More spiders are coming out of hiding. I can sense them. As more people harness their newfound abilities, the virus inside them will continue to mutate, and spread, eventually granting us absolute control over their actions through the power of this Exo Stone."

"Won't be long till the whole city's crawlin' up the walls." Eggman quipped, beginning to walk away from the throne room alongside his cohorts, "Ah, Manhattan. It was good for a practice run. Now it's time to take this show on the road."

BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-Eggman's Idea

Soon, the villains found themselves riding an elevator in a mysteriously massive factory housing an equally-mysteriously massive aircraft. "I must admit, Doctors, I am amazed by how phenomenal your science is. Managing to build a flying fortress in such a short time." Salem complimented her teammates.

"It's rather easy when you have two things. First, an unparalleled genius, such as ours. Second, an army of tireless robot slaves." Eggman happily boasted of their great achievement.

"I did not think your Badniks were capable of being dexterous." said Salem, as the group climb stairs through the aircraft.

"Some are meant for building, some for war. But the size of my force is limited by the time it takes to construct the shells, round up the animals to power them, and combine the two." explained by Eggman as they enter the control room.

"But soon that will be a concern of the past." Doom responded as he takes a seat on his own throne in the aircraft, "Orbot! Launch!"

"Initiating launch sequence now, Boss." Orbot complied while inputting commands to his console.

"Up, up, and away!" Cubot excitedly expressed.

With his moronic partner opening a ceiling hatch disguised above as part of a forest, Orbot manages to launch the Masters of Evil's new flying fortress into the sky. An extravagant space station created in the likeness of Doom's head that cruises through the air. "The Master Sanctorum has reached cruising altitude, Bosses. All systems are stable. Activating Space-Time Transport to Mobius now." Orbot announced, pressing the button that is tearing a rift between dimensions open for their aircraft to be swallowed up by.

"Octavius and Warren will keep watch of our operations on Earth until further notice." Doom stated as he turns to his teammates, "Once we arrive on Mobius, Eggman, I want you to immediately set up a Dimensional Harvester to collect the dimension's ISO-8. You will be in charge of our operations in Empire City. Once that city's infected, we will move on to Remnant to repeat the process there immediately."

Eggman sinisterly chuckles, "Yes. Once our tests are complete, we will then apply the Virus to every living thing in our dimensions. We will have an UNSTOPPABLE army of Spider-Soldiers! Any project will be completed in days, if not hours! No world will be beyond our reach! No dimension! We'll shape entire planets to suit our vision with our beautiful limitless workforce!"

"Do not forget that our primary goal is acquiring the Exo Stones." Salem mocked him in a stoic, yet condescending way that she is starting to enjoy when engaging Eggman.

"I know! I'm just as eager in finding them as the rest of you!" Eggman angrily retorted at her calm demeanor.

"Yet it has been days and we haven't found a clue on at least a single Stone's location." Salem noted.

"I did pick up unusual energy spikes that originated in New York, but they were too chaotic to properly conclude if it was an Exo Stone." Doom revealed, arrogantly unaware that he did pick up an Exo Stone which was the Chaos Stone. "Doom will leave that mystery to Octavius, as he focuses on creating the cure for your illness, my dear." He sincerely said to the beautiful witch that is still standing powerless.

Salem smiles thankfully, "Much appreciated."

"Awww, how romantic." Cubot stupidly ruined the mood, which got both sorcerers shooting him a death glare that petrifies him.

"Probably best you keep that mouth shut." quipped Orbot as he casually pushes away his petrified friend.

Moments later, the Master Sanctorum made it through dimensions as it now hovers Mobius airspace with its highly advanced cloaking device activated to prevent anyone or anything from noticing these interdimensional villains have come to conquer this world. "Made it to Mobius, at the cost of using quite a bit of ISO-8." Eggman noticed from a computer displaying their energy supply, "Not a complete nuisance, but it will get tiresome constantly refilling gas with every dimension we visit and harvest."

"Indeed. A moment of weakness for our enemies to exploit if they dare challenge us. We must fix that." Doom noted.

"And I may know JUST the tool." smiled Eggman, sinisterly, as he has a masterful idea that will surely correct their weakness.

Back in New York City on Earth…

BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-Dark Gaia Phase 1 (Running)

"HHRRRAAAAAAAH!" Yang let out a ferocious roar as she throws a car at Spider-Thugs that are really getting on her nerves. The explosive impact knocked out several but many survived and continued overwhelming the heroes with their annoying spider-powers. Yang growls, "THIS'S INSANE! Grimm crowds were easier to handle! We're way outnumbered!"

"Don't think about that, Yang!" Iron Fist retorted while chi-punching an imposter, "Just focus on taking one down at a time."

"Yeah, Fist?" Hawkeye quips as he smacks an imposter across the face, "Well, this archer's only got so many bolts in his quiver. Then what?"

Amidst this chaos, amidst Ruby scything as many fakers as she could, hope seems to have arrived in the most bizarre way. "Um, Hawkeye? Something tells me that's not gonna be a problem." Ruby was amongst the first to spot someone coming to their rescue, "Cavalry's here."

"What the?!" The surprised Tails exclaimed at what he's looking at.

"That HAS to be a joke…" Weiss expressed her stunning disbelief at what she's staring at.

"Kid? Are you outta your flamin' mind?" Wolverine asked, looking just as shocked as the rest of the heroes.

"YO!"

BGM-One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 OST-Battle at the Speed of Sound

Peter Parker returns to the battlefield as just plain old him. No Spider-Man costume, just him using his spider-powers in public. And he brought the most amazing help. "Let's show these guys how we do things DOWNTOWN!" He shouted, just as thousands of spider-powered New Yorkers swing in to kick some spider-butt.

"This's for making us look bad! Next time, take it to Jersey!"

"Think we can hurry this up? I'm paying my sitter extra."

"Whatever. I'm missin' out on overtime for this. But y'know what? Worth it."

The spider-reinforcements were just what the heroes need to turn the tide to their favor. Though many are inexperienced with their new powers, let alone know how to fight, all these spider-people are proving that when working together they can overcome any obstacle. Flash Thompson punches an imposter across the face, knocking him out while Liz sprays webbing to immobilize a goon right before MJ web-throws him hard, nearly hitting Sonic if he didn't duck in time.

Sonic chuckles, "Nice to see you guys brought the party to us!"

"Is that hedgehog talking?" A shocked Liz points at the blue hedgehog, unaware she has already met him while he was disguised.

"Ignore him. He thinks he's funny." Peter quipped, stepping in front of his Dimensional Avengers ready to lead them with an awesome plan he just thought of, "Alright, gang! It's SHOWTIME!" He pulls a surprised squadron of thugs into a large web ball that he holds. "Hey Liz! Time we play that volleyball game we missed!" He joked before hitting the webbed goons over to Liz.

"Finally!" smiled Liz, who swiftly tosses to MJ, then Flash, then Sonic, then Ruby, then the remaining Dimensional Avengers as they all have fun making fun of these criminals. Finally, after Yang hits the ball into the air, Peter jumps up to deliver the final deadly spike that sends the ball crashing down onto more thugs that become scared for their lives, creating a massive crater that is piled up with unconscious mooks as the spider-party continues for another while.

Next Morning…

It took until morning but they did it. Both the heroes and the spider-citizens vanquished the remaining Spider-Thugs that were harassing their city. SHIELD soon arrived to lend a hand in taking the unconscious criminals into custody, with Thing and Mr. Fantastic watching them do so.

"What do we do with 'em all, Stretch? Ship 'em off to the Raft?" Thing asked his best friend.

"Definitely not. This is an infection. We can't risk exposing the other inmates to these men." Reed responded.

"Still can't believe you managed to convince an ENTIRE CITY to come help us." Tails said in a conversation with Peter.

"I'm a great public speaker when under stress." Peter quipped.

"Always knew you're a hero without the mask!" Yang beam while happily arm-hugging her ex-boyfriend, "It helps that everyone is as freaky as you now."

"I guess." Peter grinned.

"PARKER, WHAT'RE YOU STANDING THERE FOR?!" Jonah Jameson suddenly interrupts the good mood with his obnoxious voice and his own spider-powers, naturally to his horror, "Look at me! I have spider-powers! THIS IS A DISASTER! Get me pictures that'll expose the REAL Spider-Man for infecting me with his germs or you're FIRED!"

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Standing Together

"Probably send him a selfie." Yang joked while leaning on the chuckling Peter's shoulder.

The Battle of Bryant Park may be over, but the War for Spider-Island has only begun. There are still many criminals out there abusing their spider-powers atop of no one knowing who or what started this outbreak in the first place. Captain America takes charge as he steps up to a vantage point sporting an expression of hope and patriotism, ready to speak to all that have assembled before him, "EVERYONE, LISTEN UP! I'm proud of you! Of each and every one of you for stepping up during this crisis! But what we fought here today was merely a symptom! This city is in the grip of a sickness! A Spider-Flu! We'll work together getting to the bottom of this! In the meantime, we're placing the city under full quarantine! No one gets in, no one gets out! Please cooperate with officials! Be respectful! We can't risk this virus spreading any further! I promise you all a cure WILL be found! And once it is, it'll be Spider-Island NO MORE!"

"ALRIGHT!" Citizens of New York cheered from hearing another of Cap's amazing speeches, as well as the thought of getting to play with their new powers a little longer.

"Loving his speeches every time I hear 'em." Sonic grinned.

"Right!" Peter happily remarked. Just then amidst the cheering, his cellphone rings from his pocket, "Hold on, got a call."

As soon as Peter answered the call, he was greeted with, 'Avengers Mansion. Get over here. With your team. Now!' from a certain stern and gruff Director of SHIELD that simply got Peter groaning.

Later at Avengers Mansion…

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Earth's Mightiest Tower

"Don't blame me for this outbreak like you did the symbiotes, Fury. I'm just in the dark as everyone else." Peter proclaimed.

The Dimensional Avengers, with Mary Jane tagging along, met up with Director Nick Fury in the meeting room to discuss their spidery-situation, with everyone but Peter and Fury sitting around the table as the former talked to the one-eyed superspy.

"I'm not blaming you. But there is a connection." Fury replied with typical stoicness.

"I guess. It's not like everyone in Manhattan is getting Wolverine powers." Peter quipped, "How're we gonna stop this?"

"Mister Fantastic is already working on a cure while SHIELD and the Avengers prevent anyone from breaking quarantine. I want your team to find the moron responsible for this mess." Fury ordered the young heroes.

"You don't think this was an accident? Peter got his powers from an accident." Ruby commented.

"This was deliberate. Someone released the virus disguised as a nightly summer fog. Question is: Who is smart enough to tamper with Spider-DNA and unleash it with an ulterior motive?" Fury quizzed the kids.

"Norman Osborn!" Weiss believed, "He once used Peter's DNA to perfect his Devil's Breath virus that nearly destroyed Mantle! Not to mention his other plan creating a Goblin Army."

"It's not Osborn. We checked. He's still imprisoned in Prison 42." Fury shot down her guess.

"What about Doctor Octopus?" Tails guessed, thinking as he rubs his muzzle.

"Who is that again?" Blake asked, having never met the supervillain before.

"Some crazy scientist with robot tentacles that Spidey and I beat up in our first crossover." Sonic casually answered while relaxing on his seat.

To make it easier to understand who they're dealing with, Peter interacts with a holographic interface to project an image of Doc Ock for everyone to look at. "It was a lab accident that grafted a tentacle harness to Otto Octavius, turning him into one of my greatest enemies rivaling Green Goblin." Peter briefed his friends on Ock's origins, "It's been weeks since I heard anything of him. I can see him being responsible using the city as an experiment to create himself a spider-army. But there is someone else that could fit the bill."

MJ lightly gasps as she quickly realizes who he is referring to, "You don't mean…?"

"I do." Peter sternly responded. He interacts with the hologram again, this time projecting the maniacal image of, "Miles Warren. The Jackal."

"What's his backstory?" asked Sonic, having never heard about this guy before.

"He was a professor at Empire State University, and at times my substitute teacher at Midtown High." Peter replied.

"You had an evil professor?" A shocked Ruby commented.

"Hope we don't run into any of our own next school year." Weiss muttered.

Peter continues with the briefing, "He was genius in biochemistry and genetics. After Gwen Stacy died, he blamed me. Went and became a master in cloning her and me as his tools for revenge."

"What's with the Gwen Stacy obsession?" Yang curiously asked.

"It was a very creepy one." MJ quipped.

"Ugh! Think I threw up in my mouth a little." Yang snarked while covering her mouth in total disgust.

BGM-Sonic Heroes OST-We Can

"Genetic tampering. Spider/Human DNA. It all fits his MO. And like Ock, I haven't heard a beep from him in a long while. Who knows how he wants to torture me this time?" Peter proclaimed.

"Doctor Octopus and The Jackal. Either one of them could be our culprit. I'll provide whatever info you need in tracking them. Find them and bring them into custody so we can get 'em talking about a cure." Fury ordered the younglings.

"Sure thing, Nicky." Peter quipped before turning to his teammates, "Ruby and Weiss, you're with me hunting Jackal. Sonic, Tails, Blake, and Yang, you're fishing for Ock."

"We won't let you down!" Tails happily assured his leader.

"Mind if I join the Jackal hunt?" MJ smilingly proposed, "Want to mess around with my powers some more."

"This isn't a game, MJ. You know that." Peter retorted, being concerned for her safety.

"You're not the only one that has beef with Warren. Gwen was my friend too. I know I'll be safe with you around." MJ argued, wanting revenge on Jackal for tarnishing Gwen's name.

Peter tiredly sighs, "Hopefully…" before shrugging, "Fine! I'll try my best. You can tag along." He allowed with an assuring smile.

"Sweet!" MJ fists pump the air, really excited to join her friends in helping solve their spider-problem.

"Ha! This's gonna be fun!" smirked Sonic, excitedly backflipping off his chair for another adventure, "Time to hunt Jackals and fish for Octopus…Yeah, let's party!" He exclaimed, with the rest of the Dimensional Avengers just as eager in saving the city from a serious case of the Spider-Flu.

BGM-Spider-Man (Movie Game) OST-Main Menu Theme

KFX Here: I want to ask everyone: What interesting/funny dynamic do you want to read between the Masters of Evil (Doom, Octopus, Eggman, and Salem)? Don't think I did much with their dynamic in the original stories so I want to improve upon them. Also renaming the "Doom Sanctorum" to the "Master Sanctorum". Don't want Doom's ego to be completely obvious during an alliance.

superjoeyf721: The Parker Luck is simply the result of Peter wanting to keep his secret identity at all cost for the sake of his loved ones. If that fails, we get "No Way Home" or "Aunt May getting shot". It's not so much a flaw, just a representation of how difficult balancing two different lives are. Peter has always been the hero that puts others before himself, even at the cost of having a shitty normal life.

Braewriter of Rewriting: Of course Johnny and Yang won't stay together forever. They have differences that I hope to explore in future remakes.

AuraBender150: Let me provide ya some counterpoints:

1. This is a REMAKE for NEWCOMERS! New readers might not know what'll happen in future stories. You're only saying the drama is pointless because you KNOW how things will end up. That's like reading the last page first or being spoiled by a movie's ending. You're just ruining the experience for yourself if you go into this remake thinking it'll play out like the original. Again, this is a REMAKE written after an in-universe retcon that warped the timeline.

2. Peter and Yang having little problems during their relationship in the original timeline up until PHANTOM Menace isn't all that better when you realize it took like a year for the Parker Luck to affect them. During this new timeline, Peter KNOWS Yang is going through a tough time because of recent adventures that he feels guilty for, hence why he broke up with her thinking some space between them will help them heal and grow.

3. Like I stated before, the Parker Luck barely affecting Peter and Yang's relationship in the original timeline was a mistake on my part. You say it makes Peter stagnant, and while that may be true in the comics, this ISN'T the comics. We have just entered the SECOND Saga of this whole series where I can really improve the characters to the best of my ability. Having a complicated guy like Peter (who had off-screen messy relationships) stay in a relationship with Yang THAT LONG in the original timeline with minimal problems was stagnant. This time around? Peter can date Blake while Yang dates Johnny until they truly realize their feelings for each other and get back together by Exo War. Then Phase 3 and 4 can focus on their challenges in maintaining their relationship until finally they marry in Phase 5. In my opinion that keeps things fresh and interesting. The Parker Luck has its benefits in improving a story as long as its not overdone for the sake of status quo (like the comics).

Reader (Chapter 9): No BlazBlue characters will appear if I ever get around doing a Transdimensional Racing remake.
