Spider-Man: Look out! It's your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man! Ozpin is the Spider-King?! Didn't even know he was kidnapped! Ah well, thanks to Black Widow's Secret Avengers, we were able to defeat Salem and Grimadoom and shut down their Dimensional Harvester, only to learn the old hag isn't the Big Bad as we all thought. The person who caused The Pulse is responsible for all this dimensional mayhem. Who could they be? Hope we'll find out soon enough.

Baxter Building, New York City. Earth.
"Damn it!" Mister Fantastic slams on his workstation to express the furious frustrations he's been dealing with since this spider-outbreak started days ago, "Forgive my temper. It isn't often I'm outmaneuvered by a man-made compound."
'It's alright, honey. This Virus has been a pain in the ass for everyone. Just keep doing your best.' Invisible Woman spoke to her husband through their comm link.
"I have, yet failed to prevent the cities in our dimensions from reaching full infestation." Reed retorted, calming himself down enough to continue working on the Spider-Cure whilst asking his wife, "How about the Spider-Sense Jammers? Are all forty still operational?"
'Some took damage, but yeah. These bugs are spreading us very thin. Guarding the towers is far harder than a few bridges and tunnels.' replied Susan.
"Then keep doing your best." Reed quipped out a brief smile, "If even one of them falls, we lose the psychic barrier around the city and the spiders will be free to leave the island in order to spread the Virus around the world. Though I fear the Masters of Evil already have developed an alternate means to accomplish that goal." He believed, which is not far from the truth.
'Just what is it about this Virus that's making it so hard to cure?!' The frustrated Susan asked.
"An ingenious product between ISO-8 and genetically-tampered spider venom that's increasingly more aggressive than alien symbiotes." Reed projects a mini-hologram of his experimental cure from his hand to intently observe, "The experimental cure Atlas provided me to research has yielded results, successful only in restoring a victim's mind but not their body. It needs a crucial amplifying element, some kind of stabilizing mutagenic enzyme, without it, their minds will return to their feral state within 24 hours. Finding a suitable enzyme is not the only problem. It needs to be adapted, bonded to human DNA that won't be in danger of being completely overwritten. That will take at least a year; time that we do not have."
'If that's the case, why not asking Spider-Man for help?' Sue recommended.
"Good question…" Taking this critical moment to calculate over this possibility, Reed ponders quietly, "This Virus is clearly based on his enhanced chromosome pattern, and yet…How can it be that he never naturally experienced a mutation? …Wait…" Slowly, with hope illuminating from his shocked face, Reed looks up realizing, "I overlooked it. The answer…Peter Parker is the answer!"
Winter's Airship, Kingdom of Mistral, Remnant.
BGM-Mega Man X8 OST- Demo - Deepening Mystery
After successfully destroying Evernight Factory, the Dimensional Avengers and Secret Avengers returned to the Atlesian Airfleet with Spider-King in their custody. The mutated Ozpin remains unconscious, but as a precaution, Winter has him locked within a containment unit that should be strong enough to contain him in the event he wakes up to cause more trouble.
"Ozpin is sedated and secured, and we're just managing to control the infestation here in Mistral." said Winter, informing the heroes alongside Penny, Sienna Kahn, and Chaos gathered in the war room, "It won't last long. Even with our Jammers working at max power, the spiders continue to be relentless in their attempts of their destruction and breaking quarantine. As long as the Masters can send out commands with their Espeon Stone, they'll remain coordinated. Find weakspots in our defense that only their victims know."
"We've played around with these bugs long enough. We NEED to find the Masters of Evil's space station and take back that Stone! Find out who their leader is! The one who caused The Pulse!" Spidey retorted with understandable impatience.
"We've been scanning our dimensions for any space stations that are cloaked using our best technology. Nothing has appeared on radar as of yet." Winter retorted.
"Widow, your team has been investigating the Masters of Evil for some time. Have a clue who may be leading them?" Ruby asked the secret agent.
"I have suspicions on a few people that has the influence and charisma to manipulate others into their cause on this scale." Black Widow places a thinking finger on her muzzle as she ponders, "If the one I'm thinking about is behind all this…then your team won't be able to handle them on your own."
"We've gotten this far on our own." Ruby responded.
"True. But we're dealing with an Omega Level threat that's been a mystery for months. The Pulse shut down all technology on Earth and brought to us ISO-8 that inspired villains to use them to conquer other dimensions. Now the person that's been pulling their strings is ready to act with their biggest plan yet: Use their Spider-Army to find all Exo Stones and conquer all reality." Widow said, summarizing just how dangerous this Mystery Villain truly is.
"Which is why we need to work together on this. Who do you have in mind that's been playing games with us and our dimensions?" Sonic asked.

Widow is hesitant to reveal her prime suspect to the young heroes, under the belief they aren't ready to face someone so powerful, but mainly because they don't have long until their mutations reach their final stage. Before she arrives at a decision, however, Spidey's Webware receives a surprise call from, "Reed!"
"So he's our surprise baddie." Sonic quipped.
"Shut up." Peter retorted before projecting the fantastic scientist as a hologram for others to interact, "About time, Reed! Time's running out! The Masters of Evil are about ready for endgame and we still have NO IDEA where they are or how to stop it! PLEASE tell us the cure's done!"
"Almost! I'm just missing one crucial factor." Richards proclaimed.
"What would that be?"
"You."
"Saywhatnow?" Peter blinked, confused at the surprise claim that the key in finishing the cure is Spider-Man himself.
"No time to explain here. Return to Earth and hurry to the Baxter Building! As you said, time is running out!" ordered Reed before ending the holo-call.
"Looks like you have your own mission to handle." Widow grins at the young Avengers, "Take Ozpin with you to be his test subject. If the cure works on him, make him tell you EVERYTHING he knows about the Masters of Evil. He's our last hope in finding their hideout in time."
"Our team will focus on our own leads. Chaos and Kahn can stay and help the Atlesian Military maintain quarantine." Qrow said, with the Secret Avengers ready to go on another investigation mission.
To his amazing friends that have been a big help to him throughout this crazy adventure, Spider-Man solemnly nods to them, "Got it. Good luck to everyone. I'll make certain, this nightmare WILL end tonight."
"Be careful, Spider-Man." said Shadow, proposing to him a goodbye handshake that he accepts, "We're dealing with someone VERY powerful."
"Yeah? Well, so are we." The confident Spidey proclaimed before swinging off with his team, leaving Shadow to scoff out a proud smirk for the team that may be their best hope in defeating the Masters of Evil.
Shortly after, on Earth…
BGM-Dragon Ball FighterZ OST-Spirit
The Aven-Jet flies through a Warp Ring that returns the Dimensional Avengers to the stormy night skies of New York City, with Spider-King safely imprisoned in the back of the ship with Blake keeping a close eye on him. "Made it through!" Tails announced as their signature pilot.
"Home sweet home. Feels like forever since we left the city." Spidey said before looking out the window to see what has changed since his absence.
Obviously, Spider-Monsters are still running rampant on the streets with thousands more than there was a few days ago. SHIELD have been doing their best managing the infected such as deploying barriers that are protecting the uninfected from their monstrous wrath. And many heroes like the Avengers and X-Men are protecting the Spider-Sense Jammers with their lives, otherwise the situation will become more dire than it already is. It's already doing a good job leaving Peter even more guilty, "Things have certainly gotten worse…"
"Check up on MJ and Aunt May. See if they're okay." Tails suggested.
"Good idea." Peter accepted, walking out to a private spot with cell phone already in hand to call his family.
Knuckles, meanwhile, was minding his own business before noticing his friends are looking sick. Like Sonic experiencing a terrible headache that's briefly blurring his vision, and Blake feeling like her sides are about to burst out something horrifying. "You guys aren't looking too good. Weiss looks like she's about to hurl." Knuckles noted his friends' degrading health.
Weiss was on the verge of puking but managed to hold it back for now, groaning sickly as she speaks, "We've been fighting against the mutation and bad guys for days…Starting to take its toll…Don't know how long we can keep holding it back…"
"Keep trying. It'll be over soon." Knuckles replied solemnly, taking a comforting moment to be by his friend's side so she won't struggle against the mutation alone.
"Any of them respond?" Sonic asked Peter, approaching him if he managed to contact either Aunt May or Mary Jane.
Sighing in defeat, Spidey puts away his phone replying, "No…" to the hedgehog with a gloomy expression that spells his worst fears may have been realized. That his family might have turned into spider-monsters themselves.
"Don't give up hope, man. Everything will turn out fine in the end." Sonic comforted his best friend.
"Hope so…" Spidey replied somberly.
"May and MJ are tough. Spider or not, they'll be okay." Yang said to her ex-boyfriend whilst comforting him with a hug.
"Didn't think being a Spider-Hero would be this stressful." said Ruby, doing her best to relax and remain hopeful on her seat, "It's like trying to be two different people at once: One that's longing to be normal again and the other that likes showing off spider-powers to better help people, only for these powers to slowly corrupt us whole…" The young huntress then turns to Peter to ask him something important, "How do you balance both sides?"
"Heck if I know." Peter answered, "I just keep doing my best. Being there for everyone that needs me, and face the consequences if I fail to do so. It's through failure is how we learn to better ourselves. To improve and, eventually find out what works."
Hearing their leader's words of wisdom resonated with the team as each of them have experienced at least one failure that has stuck with them, like Knuckles's failure to protect the Master Emerald, and Yang failing to save her arm. Ruby has come to accept she failed to be as great a Spider-Hero as Spider-Man, yet smiles as she silently vows to improve upon herself. To be a greater hero once her mutations are cured. "You always have been a great example. You're the biggest loser out of our dimensions yet still became one of our greatest heroes and a really good friend." Ruby jokingly complimented her leader.
"You like hurting me when I least expect it." Spidey quipped.
"Annoying, I know." Yang smiled at him.
"It's a little sister thing." Ruby sassed.
"Then as your big bro/leader, I'm ordering you to stop it." Spidey quipped.
"No." Ruby retorted with her head shaking in humorous defiance.

BGM-The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Game) OST-Main Theme
Upon the Aven-Jet arriving at the Baxter Building, the Dimensional Avengers brought out Ozpin's containment unit to escort whilst making a beeline for Reed Richards. The Fantastic Scientist was still in his lab getting his equipment ready for Spider-Man and was left ecstatic he didn't have to wait very long upon him rushing through his door, "Thank goodness you made it. Quick, I need to take as much of your blood that you can safely give that'll be enough to cure our three dimensions."
"Why?! Haven't you sampled enough spider-blood?" The surprised Spidey retorted.
"Yes, but not yours in particular." said Reed as he happily paces around his lab, "The answer is you; your blood, Peter! Suddenly, I realized that you are the perfect spider-hybrid. Whatever it is about your blood that keeps you from transforming completely, that's what makes you unique." He places a proud hand on his shoulder telling him, "Your human side never gave way to the Spider."
"Madame Web did hint as much to us." Sonic smirked, recalling that the blood of a pure spider-hybrid was what Madame Web claimed to be the key for the cure. And it seems she was right once again.
"Guess being the biggest loser does balance things." teased Weiss while playfully elbowing Peter, simply annoying him.
"Stop calling me a loser!" Spidey retorted angrily.
"Anyway…" Reed speaks again so the focus could return to him and his plans for the cure, "We'll have to work fast and be mindful of your radioactive blood, otherwise it'll overload a person's systems and render them comatose. If I can synthesize your blood and remove the dangerous blood cells, it'll eliminate the side effects."
"Alright. I'll start donating my blood right away." Spidey nodded.
"Don't forget what happens when a person gives blood." Ruby warned him.
"Good point. It'll leave me in a weakened state. But I think we're safe in here." Spidey replied.
"I meant you get a cookie, but uh…yeah, that's a good point too." Ruby quipped awkwardly.

BGM-Ratchet & Clank (PS4) OST-Pause Menu
Time is of the essence. The fate of humanity hinges on the Spider-Cure. Mister Fantastic. Tails. Spider-Man. Three of the smartest scientists around are working together as fast as inhumanly possible to complete the antidote and save their dimensions. There's Spidey transferring a lot of his blood into a machine for study. Next there's Tails calculating the means to synthesize a new cure born from the experimental variant and the spider-blood behind a computer, quickly finding the results very interesting. Thanks to this info, Reed begins mixing the right chemicals together, heating its test tube over a burner while Ruby enjoys a cookie beside him.

"Good news." Blake smiles to the heavily-weakened Spider-Man lying on bed after he drew tons of his blood for the experiment, "We're four minutes away from completing a cure using your synthesized blood and Atlas's serum. Then we'll be able to mass produce it without any fear of side effects."
Spidey weakly grunts, "That's great…" while having a little trouble breathing.
"Here. Let me take this off. Help you breathe better." Blake takes off his mask to see the exhausted, yet amazingly handsome face of the hero that has sacrificed portions of his own life for the good of their dimensions. The cat giggles at the spider, placing a soft hand on his cheek that's helping him relax. With her boyfriend relaxed, Blake is ready to talk to him about something that's been bothering her since their adventures in Mobius, "Pete. You think what Grimadoom said before is true? That someone from your past has returned to kill you? Think they're the one that caused The Pulse?"
"No…I have tons of baddies that come back for revenge…Usually kick their butt back to prison…" Peter responded.
"But he said someone literally came back to life just to settle the score with you." Blake said.
"Odd…Just who could be talking about?" Peter wondered.
Shyly glancing away for a moment, Blake tells him, "I should've told you this earlier, but…Remember that Man-Spider I fought back on Mobius? The one that was attacking the bridge? He nearly killed me, threw me off the bridge. But for some reason went out of his way to save me."
"Why…?" The curious Peter asked.
"It felt like he was guilty about something. Felt familiar. Reminded me a lot of you." Blake revealed the connection between Peter Parker and Tarantula.
BGM-Ultimate Spider-Man (Game) OST-Father's Pride
Shocked, Peter exclaims, "Me…? Could've that have been my dimensional counterpart? Or maybe…Could it be…?" He suddenly flashes back to key moments in his tragic life: His battles with The Jackal. His friendly relationship with his clone Ben Reilly, before his sacrifice. His antagonistic relationship with his other clone Kaine, before his own sacrifice. Then remembers the image of Tarantula from Winter's ship, and the strange fear that someone monstrous has been spying on him throughout his dimensional visits during this adventure. 'No…It's not possible…They should be dead.' Peter thought, horrified that he may have uncovered the truth behind Tarantula.
Unbeknownst to the heroes, an uninvited guest is lurking amongst the shadowy halls of the Baxter Building. It's something monstrous. A mutated spider-creature that is hungry for revenge against another Webspinner. Their primary target is the laboratory but knows it'll be difficult to infiltrate without a distraction. Hence why their secondary target is the reactor that powers the entire building.
"Are you geniuses done yet? My skin's getting itchy." Back at the lab, Yang expresses her impatience to the dual scientists on the cusp of completing the Spider-Cure.
"Almost. First we'll test it on Ozpin, then use it on the team if it works." Tails responded, then is left stunned from what he's calculating on the computer, "What's this? No. YES. Can it be that simple…?"
"Verify the data, Tails, verify the data." Reed urged him.
"Unbelievable…I've never seen anything like this." Tails commented on just how remarkable Peter's blood is upon it infusing with the experimental cure.
Just then, as the Mysterious Creature sabotages the building's reactor with its savageness, everything goes dark. The lights. The computers. All the power went out at once, forcing Reed to use a flashlight to see if everyone is safe. "Is everyone okay?" He asked the kids.
"This is a bad time for a power outage." Knuckles complained.
"That's not right. We don't have outages. Our emergency lights should be on by now…H.E.R.B.I.E.!" Reed calls for his adorable little robotic assistant to join his side, "Activate auxiliary power."
"Sorry, Doctor Richards. All auxiliary power has just been disabled along with our security feed. I don't know what caused it." HERBIE reported.
Sternly, Reed frowns, "Not 'what'. 'Who'. Someone's in the building. Bypassed my security flawlessly. No doubt they've come to sabotage the cure." The Rubber Man uses his elastic strength to rip open his deactivated door, ordering his friends, "You kids stay here and barricade all entrances. I'm going to reboot our systems. Guard Ozpin, Peter, and the cure until I return." before rushing to fix his electricity problem.
Entrances have been barricaded. Flashlights are equipped. The Dimensional Avengers are now trapped, alone, in the dark haunted laboratory with someone or something hunting them down like an animatronic searching for a security guard to kill. "Pair up. Keep a lookout." Ruby whispered orders to her teammates, taking the leadership role with Spidey out of commission. Everyone stays quiet to focus on the silence that's surrounding them. Lightning strikes from outside to get Tails jumping with fright. A faint noise is heard by Weiss while whipping out her rapier for self-defense. Also, "WRAAAAGR…", there is that lowly monstrous growl that sounds like it's coming from everywhere, which really spooks HERBIE down to his wires.
They're doing their best hiding it, but the heroes are scared. Terrified by whatever has infiltrated the Baxter Building. And with their Spider-Senses disabled thanks to the Jammers outside, they're even more vulnerable to a surprise attack. Yang treads carefully through the giant lab with her defenses up until her back feels something furry, tall, and horrifying. Her eyes widen in fear, as the monster's eyes open with snarling red menace. Just as she was about to reveal them with her flashlight, she was struck through a wall by a brutally loud arm swing. "IT'S HERE!" Sonic shouted. The heroes try attacking the Mystery Monster in the dark, frantically trying to reveal its presence with light that were immediately webbed out of their hands. The Monster makes its way toward the device containing the nearly-completed cure with the vicious intentions to destroy it and humanity's hope. Just when they were about to accomplish their mission, they were kicked away by Blake as she can perfectly see them in the darkness thanks to her Faunus nature.

'Avengers!' Reed contacted the heroes via comms, 'I'm in the process of restoring emergency power! Lights should return in the next second!'
BGM-Ultimate Spider-Man (Game) OST-Venom Fight Theme
A second later, the lights reactivate to reveal to the Avengers of their mutated trespasser: the growling Tarantula and The Jackal, speaking from a monitor attached to his slave's torso. 'Welcome back, students! Hope you studied for the final exam, because it's a KILLER!' Jackal laughed maniacally.
The shocked Blake gasps, "Jackal?! And, the Spider-Monster from the bridge!"
"Kill Avengers! Kill Spider-Man! KILL HOPE!" With a monstrous roar that has him dashing toward Blake and Tails, Tarantula furiously attack both without hesitation as the heroic duo do their absolute best avoiding his devastatingly high-speed blows.
'Dodge all you want, you can't escape fate. I can see for myself. My Spider-Virus has all but converted you into my most loyal slaves, right next to Tarantula here.' Jackal gloats amidst the fighting, 'He is the Ultimate Spider-Soldier! After months of experimenting on his cells with ISO-8, he is a devil that loves nothing more than slaughter and destruction and listening to me brag! His power is unimaginably high, to the point that even I'm surprised he hasn't broken his leash.'
"GWOOOAAARRGH!" roared Tarantula whilst knocking down the cat and fox with his ruthless spider-legs. He slams at them the killing blow, which was narrowly caught by Knuckles using all of his strength to keep him at bay, long enough for Yang to return with a Semblance-powered punch to his gut. Letting out a brutal roar of her own, Yang unleashes a shot from her gauntlet that's packing enough explosive force to shoot a powerful shockwave out of his body before he's knocked back. That last attack was the final straw. Tarantula has had it with these wannabe heroes as his anger reaches its boiling point. Deeply enraged to the point he can't control his own actions, the Spider-Clone unleashes an outrageously furious roar, "GRH! GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" whilst his body suddenly flares out a dark red Aura that's shaking the entire laboratory.

"He's been holding back on us…" Ruby noted, before also noting something fearfully familiar about his Aura, "That Aura…no way?!"
BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite OST-Evil
Everyone watches as Tarantula begins showing off his full terrifying power. A rare technique exclusive to metahumans that have been exposed to ISO-8 before adapting and awakening their Aura in Remnant. His mutated brown fur turns scarlet red. His muscles get bulkier. And with one last demonically monstrous, "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!", his dark fiery Aura burst out a glowing "X" symbol.
"An X-Aura?! He could even obtain that power…?" The horrified Sonic commented.
Fiercely ready to resume the massacre, Tarantula darts for the outworldly heroes at furious speeds to throw a mighty punch. But to the heroes' surprise, it was blocked in the nick of time by Spider-Man. "Spidey…" Ruby exclaimed, receiving a cocky chuckle from her hero.
"Kill Spider-Man! KILL HOOOOOPE!" Tarantula roared whilst overpowering Peter, sending him flying until he was caught by Weiss.
"You idiot! You haven't fully recovered yet!" Weiss scolded him for leaving his bed.

"And you guys are moments away from mutating if you keep fighting…" Spidey retorted as he weakly stands to confront both villains to ask, "Just how did you break in, Jackal? How did you disable Reed's security? Only friends and fellow geniuses know the ins and outs…"
BGM-Spider-Man 3 (Game) OST-Scorpion #1
'Still don't get it, do you? This meat sack is my own walking passkey. Filled to the brim with Parker DNA and your memories. I call him "Tarantula." But you know him better as your messed up "brother" …KAINE!' Jackal cruelly revealed the truth about Tarantula for all the Dimensional Avengers to hear and be left stunned by. That he is Kaine Parker. The twisted clone that came back to life under the twisted control of his creator.
"Oh my god…I thought it was impossible…" Peter muttered, having feared Kaine was Tarantula all along.
"His brother?" The confused Sonic questioned.
"His clone…Who once sacrificed himself to save him." Ruby somberly clarified, briefing the others that were unaware of Kaine's history and death.
Still stunned by the revelation his clone is alive, Peter confronts him trying to ask, "Kaine…I thought…You were…I buried you…with my own hands. Just, how-?"
"My father used ISO-8…to saaaaave me from Hell. And nooowwww…" Terrifyingly, one by one, the fists of Tarantula ignite with hellish purple flames as the result of his X-Semblance awakening. He creeps toward his brother, who's taken aback in fear of his reborn demonic power, with the snarling, murderous intention to, "YOU. WILL. JOOIIIINNNN!"
With a psychopathic smirk, Tarantula rushes at his brother to deliver a flaming dive punch that should be enough to kill him. Spidey wants to move but couldn't. He's still too weak as even his vision's getting blurry. He was lucky enough to have friends like Yang swinging to his rescue at the last moment, leaving the furious Tarantula alone to battle Team Sonic. The Mobian Trio slam powerful blows on the monster at full speed, with Knuckles punching his face and both Sonic and Tails spindashing into his chest. Again, Kaine just smirks, as their attacks didn't make him flinch an inch. They clash for a bit with the beast still holding the advantage, forcing the intense Freedom Fighters to roar out, "HRAAAAAA! HAAAAAAAAAAH!" while managing to smash him into another room with their most devastating attacks.
Immediately after, Team RWBY let out their own ferocious roars, "HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" whilst setting their weapons to fire an explosive barrage of blasts at the monster, enveloping him in smoke that's hopefully keeping him at bay.
"Kaine? Doing the Jackal's bidding?! This isn't you, man! If you're in there, FIGHT IT!" Spidey pleads with his brother while watching from the sidelines.
'You don't get it, do you, Parker?' retorted Jackal, as the uninjured Tarantula leaps out of the smoke to launch a massive fireball made from his own darkness and rage that knocks Team RWBY out cold, 'My boy, Kaine, was always better at being the Spider than the Man. Now, with my little upgrades, we'll see how far that can go.'
"Don't listen to him! We're working on a cure here! We'll fix this!" Spidey countered.
'BZZT! Wrong.' Jackal snarked, 'I KNEW your blood would be the key in perfecting a cure! That's why I've been trying to kill you. Tricking you into my booby traps across dimensions! That's why we're here now at your weakest. To finally kill you and destroy every last trace of the cure. And then my Spider-Dimensions lives on. Forever!'
"No way, Professor! We're not letting that happen! You've tortured Pete's life for the LAST TIME!" retorted Sonic, furiously unleashing a Light Speed Attack that is overwhelming Tarantula, even if it was for a moment.
"You're SICK! Messing with the dead! Pitting brother against brother!" The enraged Tails hurls an Ethyl Chloride bomb that weakens the mutated clone.
"The game ends here! YOUR EXPERIMENTS ARE OVER!" Knuckles infuriatingly launches a Maximum Heat Knuckles Attack that surprises Kaine with how much it hurt, pissing him off enough to ignite his spider-limbs to viciously knock out all of Team Sonic with one spinning attack.
"HERBIE, go! Finish with the cure! I'll hold him off!" Spidey ordered the helper robot.
"Right!" HERBIE acknowledged as he hurries back to the lab.
"Reed, where are you…?" Spidey contacted him whilst desperately rolling away from his clone's furious attempts to stomp him to death, "We could really use some help!"
'I've just restored full power to the building! I'm returning as fast as I can!' Richards responded.
"HURRY!" Spidey manages to get back on his feet and attempts to attack Kaine with a flying webbed punch, only to have his attack effortlessly crushed in his hand, "The others are down! And I'm about to be OOOOOUUUUUT!" He screams as the tables turns on him, with Kaine grabbing him by the ankle and slamming him against the ground repeatedly, ruthlessly, and outright savagely that has the hero yelling out, "AAAAAAAAAAAGUAAAAAAA…!" in total agony.
'Peter?! PETERRRRRRRRRRRR!' Richards yelled, horrified to imagine the torture his friend is suffering through at this second.
Peter continues to scream, screaming in absolute painful terror like never before from the monstrous beating his mutated clone is gifting him. His costume is being torn. His lenses are cracking. His vision gets blurrier and bloodier from every slam. All his screaming is slowly awakening Sonic and Ruby as neither of them can bear listening to his pain any longer. With one monstrous roar alongside his painful screams, Kaine grabs his brother by the face and drags him through a metallic wall before using all his strength to throw him through every ceiling until Peter crashes atop the rooftop of the Baxter Building.
BGM End
It looks like Spider-Man is done for. He's grounded and can't move, left grunting in a near-death state. Rain begins dropping on his motionless body, just as Tarantula joins him on the rooftop to scream at his defeat in unbridled rage, "GWAAAAAAAARRR!"
'That's enough. Move it! Power has returned to the building, meaning Richards is returning to finish his "cure".' Jackal ordered him to return to the lab and destroy the cure.
"Parkerrr? Finish him!" Tarantula argued, wanting to kill Peter first.
'Ahem. Who's running this field trip? For now, young man, just finish your assignment. You can come back later for extra credit.' Jackal retorted.
But as Tarantula is about to jump down the hole to the lab, he is suddenly knocked back by a blue blur that sprang out of it. "Sorry, pal…but you ain't going anywhere…!" The weakened Sonic declared with a furious scowl that's facing the monster.
Tarantula is annoyed by the hedgehog's stubbornness to die, and is just as annoyed seeing Ruby return with the same furious attitude, "Think you can just walk away after hurting our brother? Think again…"
"His brother?" Tarantula questioned, confused and perhaps a little shocked to witness the brotherly love Sonic and Ruby have for Peter.
"He's family! Just like how Pete's YOUR family! You're not a bad guy, Kaine. You sacrificed your own life to save him, and didn't kill us when you had the chance. You even saved Blake and we're grateful for that. Please stop this, before you do something you'll regret!" Ruby pleads with him to fight against his master's control over him.
BGM-Sonic X OST-Battle
For a moment, Kaine hesitates. He snarls at himself, as his own thoughts are beginning to confuse him. Jackal is annoyed to notice his mind control is wearing off, so he decides to play dirty and remind him of the twisted truth, with some extra assistance from the Espeon Stone, 'What are you doing?! That brat's an outsider! What does she know about clones and their place in the world?! The Masters of Evil are your family! It was PARKER that got you killed in the first place! HE was supposed to die by the Kravinoffs, NOT YOU! It was I that brought you back to life! If you don't want to die again, YOU WILL DO AS I SAY!'
"Yeeesss…Fatherrrr…" Tarantula snarled, remaining under his abusive control while Sonic and Ruby are left with no choice but to hold him off a little longer until the cure is developed. He fires off fireballs that they deflect before rushing at his smirking person, with the clone easily countering their attacks before grabbing and smashing their heads together, throwing them aside to defeat them again with a disastrous fireball barrage that ravages most of the rooftop with dark flames.

'Nuisances, all of them!' Jackal complained, 'We've wasted enough time. Hurry back to the lab!' But as Tarantula turn to the hole, he was once again stopped by something that got his master crying out a furious, 'WHAT NOW?!'
Sniffing the air, Kaine growls upon recognizing the familiarly annoying scent of, "Parkerrrrr." that goads him into turning around to confront his awakened brother.
Spider-Man is weak, dazed, and having trouble seeing. But he's ignoring all of that to summon all the strength within to recover back on his feet, using his Battle Focus Semblance to heal enough of his wounds to help him glance at his two best friends that risked their own lives to protect him. Seeing them both in near-death states enrages Peter to his limits, as he turns back shooting a snarling ruthless glare at the clone responsible for their injuries.
"Fair's fair, Parker. Now it's time for a little one-on-one." Tarantula taunted him.
"You won't hurt anyone else, Kaine! I'm ending this!" said Spidey, with his own X-Aura furiously erupting out of his body as he declares, "NOW!" to his corrupted brother, intending to defeat him once and for all.
BGM-Ultimate Spider-Man (Game) OST-Final Mega Battle
The final battle between brothers. The ultimate clash of X-Auras, with Spider-Man's being silky blue and Tarantula's being flaming red. They go at it throwing their full strength at each other in a fight that is a little bit closer to even now as flames surround the battlefield. Kaine is definitely bigger, faster, and stronger in their brutal brawl, but Spidey is holding his own thanks to his smarts and moves. Spidey manages to blind his bro with webbing whilst knocking him into the air to unleash his Spider-Fu at its utmost potential, pummeling him with a most devastating barrage of blows at blazing speeds that took even Kaine a painful moment to counter, overpowering him with a slamming web-strike to the ground that was paid back as a smacking web hammer to his ribs.
"I'm sick of this, Kaine! I've already lost enough brothers to this life! You, Ben, and Eddie! I never wanted ANY OF YOU to die! To sacrifice yourselves to save my dumb butt! But the two of us have been given a second chance! Let me HELP YOU! Let me SAVE YOU THIS TIME!" Peter angrily pleaded with his brother.
"It's tooooo late…You don't know the power of the Espeon Stone. I MUST obey my Masters!" Tarantula retorted somberly.
"You don't have to! And I won't let you do it alone!" Peter retorted.
"Keep trying." Tarantula glowered.
"I will!" Spidey glared.

BGM-Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX OST-A Miracle
Meanwhile in the laboratory, HERBIE is just seconds away from finalizing the Spider-Cure alongside the unconscious Dimensional Avengers that are entering the metamorphosis stage. They couldn't hold in their mutations any longer. Tails is in the process of transforming into a giant yellow spider, right as Team RWBY's clothes are tearing out for room to express their newfound expand fur.
"HERBIE!" shouted Mister Fantastic, having finally made it back to his lab, "Is it ready?!"
"Just produced enough for everyone!" HERBIE retorted, handing his boss a medical gun filled to the brim with the perfected antidote.
Swiftly, Reed grabs the gun just as his young friends have finished mutating into roaring spider-monsters. Their transformations didn't last the moment Reed shoots each of them with a gooey pellet that finally cures them of the Spider-Virus. "It WORKED! Now to help Spider-Man!" said Reed, stretching his body through the massive ceiling hole whilst leaving HERBIE to tend to his cured friends.
Back on the rooftop, Peter and Kaine found themselves grappling each other in a final clash that'll decide who is the superior Spider-Brother. Watching his creation clearly having the edge, Jackal takes this last moment to boast of his impending victory, 'Class is dismissed, Mr. Parker…'
"It's OVER!" Tarantula declared arrogantly.
But with a defiant grunt, Spidey retorts, "Got that…RIGHT!" as he lands a furious headbutt that stuns his brother long enough for him to unleash a full-powered backflip kick that knocks him into the air whilst obliterating his X-Aura, swiftly as Reed appears shooting him with the cure and Peter web-pulls the monitor off his torso.
'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…!' Jackal screamed in humiliating defeat as his monitor is thrown far away from the Baxter Building, never to be heard of again.
Sonic and Ruby can't fight off their mutations anymore either, but that's okay as Reed cures them next. Their Spider-DNA is then erased completely from their systems alongside their mutated characteristics returning to normal. With exhausted pants, both speedsters are surprised they have finally been cured. "We're cured…?" Sonic questioned with his normal voice again.
"GUYS!" Spidey shouted, happily rushing to hug his cured friends.
"PETE!" Ruby beamed as the speedsters embrace him.
"Thank goodness you're okay." Spidey said.
"You too, bro." Sonic smiled, elated to see his best friend is okay and the spider-nightmare is nearly over.

"Ughhhhhh…"
Celebrations were cut short when the heroes heard the tired groans of Tarantula, who was cured and returned to his normal form as the messy-haired Kaine lying on the ground. Before Peter could check on his brother, he then heard someone else calling for him, "PETER!" The Webslinger turns to face Blake and the other cured Dimensional Avengers. They all rush over embracing their friends, celebrating their victory over the Spider-Virus, with Pete and Blake going as far as sharing a passionate kiss before the faunus took notice of his clone, "And…Peter?"
"Kaine." Peter offers his confused brother a hand to help him up, "Need a hand?"
"…Yeah." Kaine accepted his kind offer with a voice identical to Peter's.
"Less spidery. But still spider-powered?" Peter questioned.
"Feels like it. No longer under the Masters' control." Kaine answered, speaking with a grimly indifferent tone to differentiate him from Peter. But that's not stopping his friends from staring oddly at him. "…What?" He asked, a little annoyed from their weird stares.
"You look…just like Peter." The shocked Weiss noted.
"Sound like him too." Knuckles also took note of the similarities.
"I'm his clone. Of course that's the case." Kaine retorted.
"Yeah, but you never looked THIS good! I mean REALLY good. Me good. The scars are on your face, and your cellular degermation. They've healed!" Peter commented.
"What?!" The surprised Kaine touches his face to confirm the truth for himself, which further left him stunned at his rebirth, "You're shitting me…I'm not dying anymore? The antiserum…"
"Is the only logical explanation for how your DNA was stabilized, turning you into the PERFECT clone of Peter Parker." Reed chimed in.
Suddenly Kaine sneezes, which isn't surprising at all since he's been fighting out in the rain. "Great, whatever. Let's head inside and find some new clothes for me before I get sick again." He scowled, brushing off his newfound allies as they head back to the laboratory.
Master Sanctorum
"What just happened?! It was all so fast! Can't believe I've lost contact with Tarantula!" Jackal voiced out his surprise from within his laboratory, still reeling from his sudden defeat by the heroes' hands.
"And I can no longer feel his or the children's presence along the Great Web through the Espeon Stone." And if Jackal wasn't scared enough, now he's disturbingly horrified upon hearing the calmly furious Doctor Doom standing right behind him, "Again you've failed me, Professor. You are dismissed."
Immediately, Jackal turns around begging for his life, "Doom, wait! I can-!" but it was no use as he's obliterated by a powerful mystic blast. Whether or not the Jackal he killed was the real one didn't matter to Doom in the slightest for he had served his purpose. And though the heroes have developed a cure, Doom isn't worried at all, for his master plan will ensure his ultimate victory.
"Fine. I'll do it myself." Doom proclaimed quite ominously, as there is something he must do before initiating his endgame.
Baxter Building
With themselves cured and the Jackal defeated, the Dimensional Avengers have earned a little break before planning their next move against the Masters of Evil. Team Sonic is taking it easy, with the three relaxing on a sofa. Team RWBY switched to fresh clothes, since their old ones were shredded by their own mutations. And Spider-Man is helping his cured clone create a new red-and-black spider-costume using a Fabricator that can construct basically anything.
"Hold still." Meanwhile, Mister Fantastic has just injected the Spider-Cure into Spider-King, then watching him return to his original form as the exhausted Professor Ozpin. "Take it easy. It's good to have you back, Professor." He smiled at the restored immortal sorcerer.
"Thank you, Doctor…Just wish I didn't return with the guilt of murdering an old friend and enslaving entire cities." Ozpin sighed depressingly over his actions under the Masters of Evil's control.
"You were under mind control. You shouldn't blame yourself. Now that the antidote is complete, we're beginning to mass produce it in order to save those cities." Reed comforted him.
As she finished grabbing a new set of ISO-Dust cartridges, Blake got the sense she was being stared at. She turned her head to notice it was Kaine staring at her from nearby looking remorseful, as if he feels regretful for endangering her during this adventure. The Spider-Clone suddenly realized she noticed her and turns to a window, crossing his arms whilst staring out it apathetically.
"Why so melancholy?" Interested in learning more about him, Blake approaches his side with a greeting smile, "You know, I have the power to create my own clones, but never anything like you. You're a lot more complex. The science of this world just continues to amaze me." Kaine ignores her completely, uninterested in conversing with her, but that's not stopping her from making an effort, "I haven't gotten the chance to thank you. I didn't expect you to come and rescue me from that bridge back at Mobius. It was honestly surprising. But your Semblance to channel ethereal fire from…somewhere…sounds like it'll come in handy…"
Finally, Kaine joins the one-sided conversation with a stoic, "Hmph. It wasn't because I wanted to save you. I was planning to have Parker watch you die before his eyes."
"If you say so. But there's more to you than meets the eye, I can tell." Blake easily smirks through his lie.
Annoyed by the cat, Kaine angrily shouts at Peter to, "What's the hold-up, punk?! Finish with my costume already!"
"Stop rushing me! It's not like we know where the Masters of Evil are!" Spidey retorted, already caught in typical sibling banter with his clone.
"I DO! They're in the Master Sanctorum orbiting the planet as they prepare their doomsday weapon!" Kaine shouted at him this new info.
"Glad you finally told us this! Next thing you won't tell us is who's leading them." Spidey quipped.
"It's DOOM, you dumbass! Doctor Doom has been behind EVERYTHING!" Kaine snapped.
BGM-Mega Man X8 OST- VS Sigma Demo
Everyone just stopped what they were doing to be stunned from who was revealed as the secret mastermind behind the Masters of Evil. Doctor Doom. A name unfamiliar to the Mobians and Huntresses, but to superheroes like Spider-Man and Mister Fantastic, it horrifies them moreso than any other supervillain across the multiverse.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Spidey slams on his table, confronting his brother about this horrifying revelation, "IT'S BEEN DOOM ALL ALONG?!"
"I don't joke about this shit unlike you. It was Doom that destroyed Exo-Space and spread ISO-8 across the universe with his Pulse. Every dimensional disaster we've gone through these past months ALL link back to him. Treating them as tests to find out who's worthy to join his Masters of Evil. And thanks to Goblin and you guys, he's after the Exo Stones so he may try out for multiversal conquest." Kaine briefed everyone of Doom's secret involvement behind all the interdimensional invasions.
"Whoa-whoa-whoa! It's not all the time I say this, but SLOW DOWN!" Sonic chimes in to ask, "Who the heck is Doctor Doom?"
"Victor von Doom." Reed somberly answers the hedgehog, "Once a colleague of mine back in college until a lab accident scarred his face for life. He blamed me for his own mistake and became obsessed with revenge, starting by staging a violent coup to conquer his home country of Latveria. Since then, he has made many attempts in world conquest and beyond, only for his plans to be foiled by my family and his own unbridled hubris."
"What is up with this dimension and evil crazy doctors? And, why blame US for the Exo Stones existing?" Weiss retorted at the unfazed Kaine.
"Because it's your fault." Kaine snarked.
"HOW exactly?!" Weiss angrily retorted, already hating his attitude.
"Remember the Chaos Control we used to restore our universes…?" It was then Ozpin's turn to join the conversation, "It had the force of a Big Bang that affected eight singularities. Transforming them into eight elemental crystals that were then hurtled across the rebirthed multiverse, each capable of controlling an essential aspect of existence."
"So we really DID create the Exo Stones. This is all our fault…" Ruby remarked regrettably.
"No. The fault's all mine…" Reed speaks up taking full responsibility for the Exo Stones' existence, "It was my Cosmic Emeralds and my idea to use Chaos Control that created these multiversal gemstones. I miscalculated. And our worlds are suffering because of it."
"We were in a rush back then!" Yang refuted resolutely, "We did what we needed to do to save our worlds and we did. And we're GOING to do it again! It's Doom's fault for going after power he shouldn't have."
With an agreeing nod, Reed says, "You're right. It's the future that's at stake. No time dwelling on the past. We must hurry and stop the Masters of Evil before the very fabric of reality crumbles beneath their united hubris!"

But then out of nowhere, the Building's alarms are going haywire. Everyone is left stumped by the mysterious cause until HERBIE detects what it is. "I'm picking up a transmission!" He informed his friends.
BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds OST-Ending Theme 4
The heroes were left with no choice but to accept the transmission, to find out who has hacked their communications. A giant holographic monitor projects before their very eyes emitting static to hide who's calling, which gets Team RWBY cautious, Team Sonic curious, and Spider-Man interested. Seamlessly the static disappears, many pixels at a time to reveal the mugshot of a certain Metal-Masked Monarch that surprises Spider-Man to the core as he already recognizes him, much to his added horror.
"IT'S DOOM!" Spidey confirmed.
This has been a long time coming. The mystery behind The Pulse. The leader of the Masters of Evil. The man that's been pulling the strings of the dimensions has, at last, revealed themselves to be the one and only Doctor Doom. And with a stern glare through the screen, he is determined to end the multiversal age of heroes forever.

BGM-Spider-Man (Movie Game) OST-Main Menu Theme
KFX Here: It is time, my friends. Kaine has been cured just in time for Doctor Doom to reveal himself as the big bad mastermind behind everything that has happened since Fate of Two Worlds. The ultimate showdown between the Dimensional Avengers and the Masters of Evil is upon us. As for Kaine himself, I've reworked his Semblance to be an X-Semblance, just like Peter. He now has just two abilities:
The Flames of Kaine – allows him to channel hellfire that can harm even the soul (based on the Spirit Fire suit power from Marvel's Spider-Man)
Spider Out – allows him to transform into his Man-Spider (Tarantula) form, but at the risk of him running berserk
AuraBender150: Grimadoom will grow to be more rebellious as this Remake Saga goes on. It's all part of his own character arc of him becoming independent and hating his creators. Like you said, his personality is somewhat restricted because of the Espeon Stone.
