Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of the Crimson Emperor. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I don't own Destiny, Bungie, and Microsoft does.
(Earth, Red Legion Flagship, Immortal)
There was a gasp of air before he had found the ability to awaken. He blinked as the sounds of technology and typing on consoles was heard. He slowly sat up and was greeted by a pair of Red Legion Psions as he did so.
"Grel?" One of the Psions said before an alarm sounded. "Scree!" They yelled as a pair of soldiers started to enter.
Blood Guard. Blood Guard Legionaries held their weapons and pushed past the squad of Psions. The Titan instinctively grabbed at his rifle only to realize that it wasn't there. He balled his fists and prepared to combat the Cabal in melee combat.
"My Liege." He heard in broken English. "We mean no harm. The Psions were to tell if you awoke." He heard from one of the Blood Guard before he blinked.
He was about to demand answers before both soldiers dropped to one knee as he did so. Both of them were rather interesting yet it gave them questions. He wanted to start to question while he blinked.
"Hail the Dominus of the Cabal empire. Commander of the Red Legion!" One of the soldiers yelled before he sighed. "We need to alert the others that you are awake!" He heard before one of them started to herd a Psion from the room.
He heard more orders as he started to blink once more. They had placed something on him to heal his wounds from his damage. He still felt more pain than normally his…
"Spark?" He stated while he slowly started to think of what to do next. "Where the hell is that tiny little…?" He asked before he sighed to himself.
There was a noise as the familiar machine started to fly down towards him. The titan simply rolled his eyes and rested his hands on his side with a large amount of noise and pain coming from him as well. He sighed once more before he rolled his eyes and smiled.
"Grel. There's something that we need to talk about." He heard before he rolled his eyes. "It's important. The Cabal. They think you… Well." The Ghost stated before he glanced at the titan who simply crossed his arms.
"What? Tried to destroy Earth? I'm well aware. That's why they sent the both of us here." The titan stated before he smiled to himself. "What the hell happened? I passed out after we ended Ghaul." He stated while he felt more pain start to dance across his form.
He felt as if he was on fire the more, he started to think about it. The more time he spent on this ship? The more he felt he felt as if he was on the ice. Still? He had somewhat of a mission to do and it was still part of his plan to do something to stop.
The titan still felt off about this mission and something felt rather strange. This battle was going to be a rather hard pill to swallow at the time. He had a lot more on the time before this came down to it.
He was going to be interested at the time. He was going to be a soldier who had to fight wars, debating war tactics that had ended recently.
Still? He was going to be interested in what was to do next. It had been interesting as of the second. He was going to be fun when it came down to it.
He leaned back on his throne before he tilted his head at the second. There were going to be a lot of questions when it came down to it. He needed to question what to do next.
"There's a lot more on the line than you know, Val." He stated before he hummed as of the second. "I'm supposing that the rest of the Red Legion is coming with us?" He questioned before he tilted his head to the side for the time.
He had more on his plate now. He had been running an empire? He had been curious as to how that plan was ongoing. Still, he was going to be curious as of the second. He shook his head before he sighed to himself.
He was honestly curious as of the second. He was going to snap if he was onto something. This had been a good thing; it could be a weapon he could wield against the enemy. If they were open to letting bygones die and slowly shape up the right way. It had been a lot more on this. A lot more that hadn't yet properly healed up. This was going to be interesting.
"We are sending all of them home. The Red Legion awaits your command, my liege. As commander of the Red Legion." Ca'uor stated before he hummed. "There's a lot of bad blood between us and the system. We all know the Red Legion does lot lose." Ca'uor stated before he hummed to himself.
Grel rolled his eyes himself before he sighed to himself. So much to do and so little time to do it. He had gone from being a simple soldier of the Vanguard to being the emperor of the Cabal Empire. That was…. Something impressive that had been bothering him to no real end. It couldn't be understated that there was more work to do and so little time to handle it.
Still? If he could end the war with the Red Legion and the Cabal at large? He'd do it. there was so much that could be learned and done with them trying to help one another.
He decided to deal with this as soon as possible. There was a lot more work to be done and little time to do it with. It had been a hard pill to swallow at the moment and he had little he didn't wish to do or say.
Ca'uor seemed to notice the Dominus deep in thought as he stepped closer. He was loyal, his reputation was one he was sure the Humans knew well. He was a soldier and they had judged him evil. He didn't consider himself as anything beyond a simple soldier who had been loyal to himself and his beliefs. This ideal had vexed him for a matter. He was well aware of the fact that they had invaded Earth, burned down much of it, and destroyed a lot of it. He hadn't taken part in much more than battling the Guardians. He was a soldier at the end of the day and he knew better than to harm the noncombatants. Still? if that was how he was to be viewed? That was how it was to be. He couldn't change their minds yet… But he supposed there were to be better things.
"I'm guessing you're the ruler of the Red Legion when I'm not sitting on this throne and thinking about what to shoot up next?" Grel questioned with a raised eyebrow.
The man simply shook his head, a frown gracing his face under his custom armor. This had been something that had been making him more and more curious.
"There are many things that I am, my liege. A leader is not one of them. I am a simple captain of the Red Legion. The only reason I am here is that my commander had been slain. I believe you're aware of Primus Cal'aug? You had slain him to gain control of his ship." Ca'uor stated before he sighed.
"A very nasty officer who has no care for those under his command. He was not to be missed so easily. They called me to see to it your commands are followed." Ca'uor stated before he shook his head.
"You're a soldier as much as I am, captain," Grel stated before he cracked his fingers. "I can respect that. Still? I'll gladly tell you are not used to being in charge of everyone…. Either way? Tell me what the situation is. I doubt the entire fleet had been leaving the system." Grel stated before he hummed.
He looked at the few parts that had been done before this was all said and done. He had been curious as of the second. He had been a lot more as of the question.
There was a lot more to say and do when this had been said and done as of the time when it was questioned before all of the time being. He was bored, but he was bored to agree when all of the plans when it came down to it. She had a lot more on his mind. The plans had slowly become unraveled and he doubted very much that this plan could last much longer… At least when you placed it into the plan when it came down to it.
He questioned before he hummed. Grel leaned back on his throne before he tilted his head at the soldier. Ca'uor only seemed to tilt his head before Grel turned to a holographic projector next to his throne.
He cleared his throat before tapping a few keys on the throne which his ghost questioned. There were a lot more plans to say and do before all of these plans were questioned before he tilted his head. He had a lot more questions when all of this was said and done. He had a LOT more on his mind than this and he damn well knew the Cabal would have issues. A lot of damn issues at the end of the day and it was all going to come crashing down before long.
He sighed as he started to shift through the data at the moment. He questioned before now what to question him before watching more Cabal soldiers on the map. Whatever this had been? It had been something he felt like dealing with before he questioned.
He hummed to himself before tilting his head at the moment while the data was placed into the computer. It had been something interesting to him and he honestly wished to know what his new empire was to be like if this was all said and done.
He tapped a few keys once more before clicking the buttons in order. This battle had been something to look at. He noted enemy positions which had been something new to deal with before long.
Still? if that was what this had come to… He'd take it. A new leaf for them to turn over was a better leaf to handle this. The idea had merit in his mind and it made him question what to do next. There was a lot more to this path before now. This had been a lot more to question before now. He had been a lot more to seem to handle before now about what to do next. He was a lot more to seem to question before.
He had been as of the second what to do next before this had come next to it. This was a lot more when all of now.
"What to do next?" Grel seemed before he sunk back into the throne.
"Whatever you wish to deem worthy of your talents. It will be the most interesting topic at least when all is said and done." Ca'uor added to which Grel fell silent for now.
All of the resources of an empire that had conquered half the galaxy and who could have destroyed Earth in seconds. Grel felt as if he had become both the most dangerous man in the galaxy and yet one of the weakest considering how much damage he had done.
"And what will happen next when all of this is over with? There needs to be more rebuilding and you know it."
