"Welcome back... 'viewers'," Chris put up air quotes, "Last time in this little game of ours," Chris coughed up that black liquid again, "Our prisoners were put through a few trials to test out their wits as well as their strengths... Slowly, we lost more prisoners to these challenges until, eventually, the final four of Monica, Aztaroth, Relinda, and Jade were all who remained. Monica was able to best the other three due to her invisibility, and... Picollo... managed to outwit me... congratulations to him I suppose... but now I have Salem patrolling this island twenty-four seven... I will make sure nobody gets lucky like that ever again... but enough of that... time to see how the game goes today..."

Intro Start

The intro started off with a shot of the prison, but instead of cameras popping out, the shot just went to static and cut over to the prison library.

"..." Inside the prison library, Aztaroth was reading a book but was interrupted when a loud crash came from behind him.

"..." The crash was revealed to have come from Romeo, who accidentally knocked over a bookshelf with his strength.

"..." After another static cut, Jade was seen picking up bits of litter in the courtyard, with a guard threatening to hit her if she didn't.

"..." Off in the distance, Picollo was washing off his makeup, suggesting that he didn't wanna wear it here.

"..." With the screen again turning to static, the shot was now of inside the cafeteria where Deena was eating breakfast for the day.

"..." Also in the cafeteria was Edna, who was eating god knows what.

"..." The shot stayed on Deena and Edna for a bit, before suddenly jumping to George who was looking outside from an old watchtower.

"..." George turned around, to see that a grinning Clover was behind him, causing the athlete to jump in surprise.

"..." With yet another static cut, we now got a shot of Relinda desperately trying to call someone on the prison phone, to no avail.

"..." Also in the phone room was Quinn, who had a chart of all the other contestants in her hand.

"..." Suddenly, the screen changed over to Davy and Rival, who were trying to avoid Chris in the main cell block.

"..." Off to the left side of the cellblock, Jacque and Monica were trying to talk, but for some reason couldn't remember their conversation.

"..." Finally, on the right side of the cellblock was Chef and Salem, with the former looking concerned and the latter grinning evilly.

"...There is no escape…" Instead of the final shot of the intro being of the campers around some sort of campfire, it was of a darkened figure with the dullest and deadest eyes ever…

Intro End

"Any word back from Kauai yet?" A very skinny 5'9" pale male said to a woman in business attire, he had very messy and spiky black hair. He wore a very simple outfit, being a white dress shirt over top a black undershirt, with blue jeans and white sneakers.

"No, sir Ryo." The woman responded, "I'm sure we'll get word back from him sooner or later, however, Kauai isn't one to keep people waiting."

"I'd like to hope s-" Ryo looked around the room only to notice something, "Leave."

"Is everything ok?" The woman asked.

Ryo nodded, "No... he's here." Ryo pointed over to a man sitting in the corner of the room, he was fairly tall, standing at 6'6", but almost all of his features were covered by a long black trenchcoat and a black fedora that covered his face with a shadow. The man had his left arm shoved into his pocket while he used his right arm to smoke a cigarette.

"R-right... I'll leave you two to discuss." The woman quickly left the room and closed the door.

"Who let you in here?" Ryo bluntly asked as the man wearing the trench coat paced around the room, "I don't need you of all people to help with this." Ryo glared at the stranger.

"Oh please." The man paced around the room, "You sent that detective to his death, you're no better than I am."

"He's not dead! He jus-" Ryo got up but was interrupted by the man.

"Hasn't responded to you in a few days and his GPS tracker has gone off the map." The man grinned, "Oh please Ryo, we both know he's dead, you're just denying that you're the one responsible for it."

Ryo scowled, "Like you're someone to talk about sending people to their deaths!" Ryo argued back, "You send amateur detectives into cases they can't handle all the time, just so you can get the information from their deaths! Who are you judge me 'truthteller'?"

Truthteller let out a slight chuckle at Ryo's claim, "In the grand scheme of it all, their losses won't matter as long as criminals are brought to light, besides, I didn't come here to lecture you on finally learning that with Kauai."

"Then what do you want?" Ryo sat back down.

"I propose that we work together to solve why Kauai disappeared when looking for you precious Deena." Truthteller also sat down, "You do want to see her again, don't you?"

Ryo didn't even wait a second before he stood up and pointed at the door of the room, "Get out of my office." Ryo ordered.

Truthteller laughed as he got up, "Looks like you aren't yet ready to handle a case properly, but that's fine… you'll come around eventually." Truthteller walked out of the room.

Ryo looked over at the computer in his room as Truthteller left, before heading over to it and logging on, "Hello?" Ryo called someone with the computer, "Is this Mrs. Morgan?" Ryo asked and got a yes as an answer, "Good, I want you to send a task force to the prisons I believe Deena is at, I believe there's a dangerous group of people at one of them who ended up killing Kauai." Ryo ordered…

This morning was the same as usual in the cafeteria of Hope's Lament, with the prisoners either chatting with each other or focusing on their own interests. Notably, Aztaroth was sitting in pure annoyance as Edna kept trying to get his attention.

"Oh mastaroth!" Edna called out to the gambler, "Why won't you inflict more pain onto Edna?"

Aztaroth took a deep breath, "I'm not your master, leave me alone."

"But you are Edna's master, mastaroth! You inflicted so much pain onto her!" Edna blushed, "Clearly you know what Edna wants!"

Aztaroth let out a groan of annoyance as Edna kept bothering him.

Confessional: Aztaroth

Aztaroth grabbed the bridge of his nose, "I swear to god, Edna is nothing but a huge annoyance. I got a little bit of peace by talking to Picollo, but ever since he left she's been nonstop talking to me. I can't use my powers on her either, because she wants that." Aztaroth rolled his eyes, "I cannot wait to be rid of h-"

Edna burst into the confessional, "There you are mastaroth! Edna wondered where you went off to!"

"Get out!" Aztaroth yelled out to the broken girl.

"Will Aztaroth punish Edna with pain?" Edna asked.

"No!" Aztaroth yelled again.

Confessional: Edna

"Mastaroth is such a tease to Edna!" Edna crossed her arms, "Ever since he beat Edna till she was nothing but red he hasn't done it again! So rude!"

Rival stared off into space while he sat at his table, not even interacting with anyone else in the room... it was actually pretty creepy, he was like a corpse staying completely still, just staring off while everything moved by around him.

"Hey Rival, what are you looking at?" Jade asked as she sat down next to the guitarist.

Rival didn't respond to the modern-day robin hood, he just kept staring blankly...

"Hey... Rival, you ok?" Jade grew a small look of concern.

Again, there was no response from Rival, just him staring off into the distance.

"Ok, Rival, you can stop the act now." Jade snapped her fingers in front of Rival's face.

Still, no response came from Rival, just silence and a stare.

"Rival?" Jade got up and began to shake Rival, still getting no response from him.

"What is he doing?" Deena looked up at the guitarist.

"Dude stop fucking around." Jacque rolled his eyes.

"I don't think he's messing around!" Jade shouted with worry, "I think something's wrong!"

"Yeah right!" Davy crossed his arms, "Davy would do that from time to time whenever he was high as hell, so where are you putting the stash Rival?"

"I'm being serious!" Jade snapped at Davy, "Would the rest of you take this seriously as well?"

Monica got up and ran over to Rival, "His pulse is going wild." Monica stated nervously, "I think he's having a sort of panic attack!"

Jacque let out a groan of annoyance, "Ok ok, if you're so worried about him, I'll see what's going on in his head."

Jacque focused in on Rival's mind to see why he wasn't reacting to anything, but something really was wrong, because as soon as Jacque used his powers to go into Rival's mind, he was met with nothing but darkness.

"What the?" Jacque tilted his head, but before he could say anything else, something he'd never seen before with his powers happened.

"Leave!" A voice screamed at Jacque through Rival's mind, which caused Jacque to grab his head in pain, "Agh!" Jacque shouted out in pain as he gripped his head, "Someone else in there..." Jacque panted.

"How despair-inducing..." Clover smiled while watching the sight unfold.

"What!?" Relinda also got up, "Can't you do anything about it? You're the one who can go into people's minds and stuff like that!"

"I don't know ok!?" Jacque snapped in response, "I got these powers not even two weeks ago, why would I know what they do against people with similar abilities!?"

"Rival wake up!" Jade pleaded with the guitarist.

Rival stood by himself in a dark empty room... well the room wasn't actually empty, as in front of Rival were two corpses. Rival stared at the bodies in pure horror, but in addition to his horror, he was covered with blood. "No no no no no no." Rival began to freak out, "This isn't my fault, right? They died of natural causes! How am I the one responsible for that!? I had nothing to do with it!" Rival teared up.

"Isn't everything your fault, Rival?" A figure stepped out in front of Rival, he had a perfectly emotionless look on his face, and he too was covered in blood. He stood at around 5'11" tall, and had pale white skin and a slim build. He wore a plain brown sweater, white britches, and black boots. He also wore a golden necklace in the shape of a cross and a small pair of rounded glasses. His hair was slicked black with two curls near the middle of his forehead, and he had muted gray eyes.

"No! I might've been the one to hurt Ally, but I'd never do something like this!" Rival retorted, "Y-you don't know what you're talking about!"

"Oh... Ally..." The figure disappeared, only for Rival to suddenly be in what appeared to be a hospital room.

"Where am I-" Rival looked around only to find his younger brother laying in the room's bed, in an unconscious state.

"Such a fragile person and they're all defenseless..." The man stated as he walked over to Ally's bed, "I do have to wonder, what would happen if I were to touch this?" The man bluntly spoke as he grabbed the cords to Ally's life support.

"Don't touch that!" Rival yelled at the man, "You're gonna kill him!" Rival cried out.

"Really?" The man tilted his head in response, "You seem rather attached to your sibling..."

"Of course I am... I..." Rival clenched his fist, "I don't know why... I..." Rival fell to the floor, "I'm sorry Ally... I hurt you so much..." Rival cried into his hands.

The man shook his head, "You're a horrible liar Rival."

"Liar!?" Rival looked up in response, "What are you talking about!?" Rival yelled.

"If you love him so much..." The man walked over and kneeled down to Rival, "Then why did you pull the plugs?"

"What!?" Rival looked around to see that the man was gone, and he was holding all of the plugs to Ally, "NO NO NO!" Rival shouted out as he heard the noise of a machine flatlining ring in his ears...

Rival suddenly woke up from his nightmare. "Jesus..." Rival was sweating bullets while he looked around his room... which for some reason felt so unreal. "Am I still dreaming?" Rival asked himself before pinching his arm, which confirmed he was awake, "I guess I'm just tired..." Rival mumbled before his phone suddenly began to ring.

Rival jumped up and grabbed the phone, "Hello?"

"Rival... it's... it's about Ally..." A female voice cried through the phone.

Rival felt his heart stop for a moment, "What happened?"

"Someone..." The girl on the phone stopped for a moment, "Someone hurt him... really badly..." The girl cried, "You need to get over to the hospital right now... he's... in a very bad state right now..." The girl hung up.

Rival threw his phone away, "Ally..." Rival cried before seeing that same man from his dream step out of the shadows.

"We're a pretty cruel species... don't you agree?" The man asked Rival.

"What the hell!? You're not real!" Rival jumped back away from the man.

"I'm very real, actually... you don't remember this, but you found me a few days ago." The man stated.

Rival cautiously kept his distance from the man, "What are you talking about."

"I'm what most people would call... dead right now. A skeleton who resided under the floors of Hope's Lament." The man shrugged, "But I suppose I got lucky with my ability there... since I can still live on in your mind."

"Hope's Lament? That prison in my dream?" Rival shook his head before moving to the door, "I don't have time for this! Ally's in the hospital right now!"

Rival walked over to the door, only for it to disappear right in front of him, "I'm afraid to tell you that you're at Hope's Lament right now."

Rival's eyes widened as he saw the room slowly change into an empty hollowed-out cube, "Let me out of here!" Rival shouted at the man.

"If you wish..." The man revealed that he had been holding a knife the whole time. Before Rival could react to the weapon, the man ran forward and stabbed him in the stomach, "Wake up."

"Rival come on! Wake up!" Jade shook Rival again, this time Rival blinked twice and looked around the room.

"Jade?" Rival shook his head, "What are you doing?"

"Dude, what the hell was that?" George asked in annoyance, "If that was just a little stunt to gain our sympathy, I'll admit, I'm kinda impressed."

"Stunt?" Rival raised an eyebrow, "What are you talking about? I've just been sitting here."

"Exactly." Monica crossed her arms, "That's why most of us were worried about you."

Rival got up from the table he was sitting at, "I have no idea what any of you are talking about, can you stop accusing me of... whatever it is already?" Rival prepared to walk away but was cut off by Chris entering the room with a grin on his face.

"Hello there prisoners." Chris greeted, "I truly hope you've all had a... lovely morning..."

"Yeah, it was just peachy like every other morning here." Jacque sarcastically replied.

"Well that's wonderful to hear..." Chris also sarcastically replied, "But it doesn't matter if you're morning was lovely or not... because it's time for another challenge..."

"Alright! Davy's gonna rock this challenge!" Davy grinned, "Tell us what it is Chris!"

"It is a much simpler challenge that fits you criminals quite well... Salem!" Chris clapped his hands, causing Salem to appear in the room, "Handcuff everyone here..."

"Wait wha-" Relinda started, only to be cut off by Salem forcing handcuffs onto every prisoner, as well as making it so that their hands were behind their backs.

"Oh my..." Clover blushed, "You're going to put us into a bleaker scenario for today's challenge? How... amazing..."

George laughed, "You really think this is gonna slow us down? You're getting dumber Chris."

Chris smiled in response, "I believe so, yes, because if you destroy these handcuffs or remove them before instructed to do so, Salem here will just send you back to prison, no second chances..." Chris threatened, "Of course, you can try to outsmart us and hide it, but you won't get very far, nothing will escape mine and Salem's watch."

"Yeah, except for Picollo!" George sneered, only to immediately be hit by Chris' migraine ability.

"Would you like to try that again?" Chris asked the all star who groaned in pain, "I didn't think so. Anyways... your challenge today is fairly simple all you have to do is complete five different tasks while handcuffed before a half-hour passes, the first person to do it will win themselves immunity and the vote for the day, while everyone else who can complete it will be given immunity... if everyone gains immunity, however, none of you will be safe, with the exception of the person who won the challenge first... is that simple enough for you to understand?"

"Hmm," Aztaroth smirked, "Very simple, and easy at that."

"Oh hell yeah!" Davy held up two anarchy signs, "Davy's gonna rock this challenge! He runs away from cops while handcuffed all the time!"

"Please," Deena rolled her eyes, "I can do anything with handcuffs on while blindfolded."

"No you can't!" Davy replied, "Besides, you'll never beat Davy!"

"Enough of your pointless arguing." Chris said in annoyance before moving on, "Your five challenges are as follows; first you'll have to collect a special item from cellblock b, and you'll have to carry it upstairs to the chapel, after that you'll have to write a letter and give it to the mail room, with the letter at least being three sentences long, then you'll have pick the lock to the morgue where you'll find your fourth challenge, pickpocketing a key to your handcuffs off of one of the 'bodies' in the morgue, and finally, your final challenge will be to remove your handcuffs by whichever means you'll need, as not all of the handcuffs keys in the morgue work with your handcuffs... the only rules in this challenge is no removing your handcuffs early, no doing more than required, and no using your powers for assistance... got it?"

"Yes." Jade responded.

"Good... now go." Chris ordered, which immediately led to all of the prisoners running out of the cafeteria and to cellblock b.

"It'll be fun to watch the weak ones struggle." Salem cracked his neck and grinned as he watched the prisoners leave the room.

Chris shook his head, "Indeed..."

Aztaroth rushed through the halls of Hope's Lament as Edna chased after him. "What do you want!?" Aztaroth yelled at the girl.

"Edna wants mastaroth to punish her for annoying him!" Edna begged, "Mastaroth gives the best punishments!"

Aztaroth clenched his fist but managed to hold back his anger, before coming up with a plan, "Here's an idea, 'mastaroth' will punish you if you can somehow slow down one of the other people here. If you can do that simple task, then, yes, I'll hit you again."

"Really!?" Edna jumped with joy, "Edna will make you proud mastaroth!" Edna pounced on top of the closest person nearby, with that person turning out to be Monica.

"Hey!" Monica struggled to kick Edna off of her, "Get off of me!"

"Good girl!" Aztaroth laughed as he ran away from the two, leaving Edna to lie on top of Monica.

"Yay! Edna made mastaroth proud!" Edna cheered before Monica headbutted her off of her, "Owie!"

Jade walked by Rival while chaos began to erupt throughout the hallway, "So about earlier, you just blacked out for some reason."

"I swear I didn't!" Rival replied, "I just remember sitting at the table one minute, and then the next minute a bunch of people are standing around me yelling at me for no reason."

"Because you just stopped responding to anything after that! You had a lot of us seriously worried!" Jade replied as Davy suddenly rammed into her and Rival, causing all three of them to fall to the ground.

"Get out of Davy's way!" Davy yelled at the two as Deena jumped over them.

"Nice move Davy!" Deena mocked as she made it to the cellblock.

"Look what you did!" Davy snapped, "Davy's losing now because of you two!"

"Looks like you're gonna be losing a lot more," Jacque smirked as he too passed by the three.

"AHHH!" Davy yelled out as he got up, "Davy's not losing again!"

Deena arrived at the cellblock, where a table was set up with eleven different crystals set on top of them. In the middle of the table was a sign that read 'take whichever crystal you please'.

Deena turned around and grabbed whatever crystal her hand could reach, "Ha! Way too easy!" Deena grinned as she began to run out of the room, now it was just a matter of making it to the chapel to get to the next part of the challenge.

Jacque passed by Deena while she left the room and saw the sign on the table, "That's it? That's pretty simple." Jacque shrugged and began to grab whatever crystal he could.

"Hey asshole!" Davy shouted as he ran into the room.

"Hu-" Jacque looked up, only to be kicked to the ground by Davy, "The hell man?"

"That's for trying to beat Davy!" Davy kicked Jacque again before focusing on the table. "Oh Davy wants that one!" Davy pointed at a bright red crystal before grabbing it and preparing to leave the room, only for Jacque to return the favor by kicking him in the back of the leg.

"Hey!" Davy yelled as he and Jacque both got up, "That's it, you're dead!" Davy grinned as he rammed into Jacque, throwing the latter into the wall, "You don't mess with Davy!" Davy began to kick Jacque repeatedly as George, Rival, and Jade entered the room.

"Take whichever you'd like huh?" George grinned, "Ok." George managed to grab a random crystal, only for him to kick the table over, causing all of the crystals to fall onto the ground, "See ya losers!" George sneered as he ran out of the room.

"Hey!" Rival called after George but knew there was no point in chasing after him, "Let's just see whatever we can grab!"

"Yeah..." Jade noticed the duo that was fighting not even five feet away from them, "Should we intervene with that?"

"If you help him Davy will beat you up next!" Davy threatened as Jacque managed to kick him off of him, causing the rocker to stumble backwards and to nearly hit Rival and Jade. The duo managed to dodge Davy, but he was left partially stunned on the ground.

Jacque quickly ran over to whatever crystal he could find and carefully picked it up, "That'll teach you for being a pain in the ass." Jacque rolled his eyes as he hurried out of the cell block.

Rival managed to also get a crystal off of the ground, "Do you still need a crystal?" Rival asked the modern-day Robin Hood, "I can give you mine." Rival offered.

"No, I already got one." Jade turned around, revealing that she managed to swipe the crystal Davy took off of him while he passed by, "Now let's get out of here."

"Alright." Rival and Jade headed out of the cellblock as Davy came back to his senses and got up.

"Davy needs to step up his game!" Davy prepared to leave the cellblock, only to realize he no longer had the crystal he took earlier was now gone, "Oh bloody fucking hell! Davy's not the one who gets robbed!" Davy managed to quickly grab another crystal before moving out of the room.

Confessional: Davy

"Davy bets it was Jacque who took his rock!" Davy's eye twitched, "Now he's on Davy's hit list!"

Confessional Over

After a little while, Aztaroth and Relinda made it to the cellblock, only to see the sight of all the crystals on the ground.

"Great." Aztaroth rolled his eyes, "Looks like those simpletons decided to try and sabotage me, but it is no matter, I can easily get past their little act of vandalism." Aztaroth grinned as he kneeled down and attempted to grab a crystal.

"What if I..." Relinda laid down next to a crystal, before rolling onto her side so she could grab it with her hand, "Got it!" Relinda hopped up and ran out of the room as Clover entered.

"There we go." Aztaroth clenched a crystal in his hand as he noticed Clover approaching, "Oops." Aztaroth grinned as he began to kick two of the three crystals far away from the table, with the final crystal being left under his foot, "Guess you'll have to work harder to keep going." Aztaroth laughed as he kicked the crystal under his foot forward.

"Oh my... a sabotage for me? How generous~" Clover smiled as she ran over to the remaining two crystals, "But I could never cheat on my one true love Picollo!"

Aztaroth passed by Monica as he kept kicking the crystal out of the room until he noticed Edna chasing after her. "Consider this a bonus reward for your help Edna, you don't need to do that challenge now." Aztaroth grinned as he kicked the crystal over to Edna.

"Oooh shiny, Edna like!" Edna caught the crystal with her teeth and began to follow after Aztaroth, "Mastaroth is so generous!"

Aztaroth kept up his grin, "Of course he is."

Confessional: Aztaroth

"I figured I can at least use that annoyance as a sort of ally in this game," Aztaroth laughed, "And then I'll throw her away when she's no longer needed."

Confessional Over

"I've gotta hurry up, Edna was too much of a setback." Monica thought to herself as she attempted to grab her crystal.

"Getting last place is certainly a fun feeling... but... I have to share some despair with you as well Monica!" Clover grabbed her crystal and ran out of the room, leaving Monica in last place.

"Yep, I really gotta hurry." Monica eventually got the crystal and began to chase after Clover.

"I don't give up so easily Clover." Monica bragged as she glared at the despair-obsessed girl.

Clover laughed, "Oh you really should, it's such an amazing feeling... one that can't be mimicked in any way..."

Monica rolled her eyes as she passed by Clover, "Right... keep telling yourself that."

The prisoners eventually started piling into the chapel, where a basket labeled 'crystals' sat in the middle of the room. Due to her head start on everyone else, Deena was able to easily get her crystal into the basket first as George headed in.

"That was too easy!" George sneered as he put his crystal into the basket, "Give me a real challenge."

Deena smirked, "Your challenge is to beat me at this game, good luck with that."

"Oh please, you're nothing against me." George rolled his eyes as he and Deena began to leave the chapel.

The duo passed by the group of Rival, Jacque, and Jade, with an angry Davy chasing after Jacque specifically.

"You get back here!" Davy shouted at Jacque, who hurried over to the basket and dropped his crystal in.

"Just give it up already man." Jacque rolled his eyes, only to be met with Davy headbutting him to the floor as he too dropped his crystal in the basket.

Davy ran away from the knocked-over Jacque, "Davy doesn't even know the definition of quitting! So no way in hell is he gonna do that!"

"Damn he seems much more competitive today." Rival stated as he and Jade placed their crystals in the basket.

Jade shrugged, "I guess that's just how he is?" Jade theorized before she and Rival left the room, with Jacque getting up and following them.

Deena and George were about even as they ran to the mail room with Davy also running after the duo.

"You're too slow Davy! Pick up the pace a little!" Deena taunted Davy.

Davy began to run even faster than before, "Davy'll show you too slow!"

George laughed, "What an idiot, he's gonna tire himself out by the time we make it to the mail room."

"Exactly," Deena agreed, "He's gonna lose this challenge."

"Davy can hear you!" Davy shouted, "Sounds like you're just making stuff up to make Davy look bad!"

"Says the guy who's losing right now!" George mocked, with Deena laughing at Davy's expense. Obviously, Davy didn't take the taunting well and he began to run even faster to catch up with the duo, "Oh crap!" George jumped up, "I didn't think he was gonna be that serious!"

Relinda, Aztaroth, and Edna then made it to the chapel, with the duo of Monica and Clover following closely behind. Relinda and Aztaroth tossed their crystals into the basket while Edna just sat in the room, "What Edna do now?" The broken girl asked Aztaroth.

Aztaroth let out a groan of annoyance, "Put it in the basket, you incompetent buffoon."

"Oh..." Edna looked around for the basket and set her crystal in it, "Was that it mastaroth?"

"Yes." Aztaroth responded while his eye twitched.

"Why is she calling you 'mastaroth' exactly?" Relinda asked as she began to head out the room with Aztaroth following in toe.

"Because of how I beat her in the first challenge or something like that." Aztaroth replied, "Now she's obsessed with me."

Relinda looked over at Edna, who began to follow them, "That's... very strange... to be honest. I wonder why she's like this."

"I don't know, nor do I care." Aztaroth replied, "I only care about being victorious here."

"Oh mastaroth!" Edna called out to Aztaroth, "Please wait for Edna!"

While that group left, Monica and Clover finally made it to the chapel, where Monica was able to get her crystal in the basket first. "Sorry Clover, but I'm not losing this." Monica smirked as she passed by Clover.

"You can't deny despair forever Monica." Clover grinned as the two caught up with the other three, "It'll always catch up with you..." Clover stated with an ominous look on her face.

Monica decided to instead ignore what Clover said and kept going at a steady pace to the mail room.

While the second group made it to the mail room to begin the second task given to them, everyone in the first group had already started the challenge.

Deena smirked as she managed to write a few words in a pretty nonsensical order, "This is way too easy, wouldn't you agree Davy?"

"Piss off." Davy snarled in response as he struggled to write.

"Something wrong Davy?" Deena laughed at the rocker's struggle.

"This challenge is rigged for Davy to lose!" Davy yelled back at Deena, clearly not wanting to deal with her right now, "Davy never had to write while handcuffed before!"

"I've been handcuffed so many times before, I can pretty much do anything in them. I guess you're not as good as you thought, huh?" Deena bragged, "Don't worry though, I won't vote you out when I win the challenge, you're way too much fun to be aroun-"

"Done!" Monica yelled out as she held up her letter, somehow, it was not only written in perfect cursive, but it was completely coherent too.

"What!?" Both Davy and Deena yelled out as Monica tossed her letter in the wall's mailbox and headed out of the mail room to the next challenge.

Confessional: Monica

Monica sighed in relief as she sat in the confessional, "Mom and dad were very strict about how my handwriting was, so much so that they'd punish me by tieing my hands behind my back and forcing me to write like that... I didn't think it would end up helping me."

Confessional Over

"So much for our small talk." Deena shrugged as she hurriedly wrote whatever she could to move on to the next challenge, with Davy also dropping the conversation to focus on the task.

Jacque and George also struggled a bit with the writing part of the challenge, but they seemed to be doing the best out of everyone in the room.

George looked over at Jacque while he wrote his letter, "Psst Jacque, I got a little proposal for yo-"

"No." Jacque cut George off, not even humoring whatever offer he had planned.

"Oh come on! I didn't even say anything yet!" George huffed, "At least let me try to make an offer!"

"The answer to that offer is no," Jacque stated as he finished writing his letter.

"Fine." George gave an 'upset' look as he also finished his letter, "I'll just find someone else."

Confessional: Jacque

"Kid was prolly gonna ask me to join some alliance with him." Jacque rolled his eyes, "You can't bullshit a bullshitter, he'd betray me as soon as it's convenient for him, I can do just fine on my own."

Confessional Over

Confessional: George

"Dammit, I was hoping I could get a partnership going with Jacque, I help him get rid of Davy since he's been hassling him this whole challenge, and then BAM!" George kicked the confessional wall, "I swoop in and get him out as well. It would've been perfect, be he wanted to go and say no right off the bat. What an untrusting asshole."

Confessional Over

"Dammit." Rival struggled to write his letter, "This is so hard."

"Tell me about it. These handcuffs are super tight on the arms too, so it just makes everything so much more difficult!" Jade agreed as Deena and Davy both shouted 'done' and left the mail room.

"Looks like we're gonna have to hurry up too." Rival added as he noticed the few remaining people here, "Who knows how much time is left, and there's not that many of us left here."

Jade gave an optimistic smile, "I'm sure it'll work out for us... we just need to stay determined, that's all."

"You guys having any luck on this?" Relinda moved over to the two, "I'm not that good at this sort of stuff."

"I'm doing good, but Rival seems to be struggling." Jade looked over at Rival, who was still trying his hardest to write something down.

"Yeah, I just can't do this pr-" Rival started but was cut off.

"I'm finished!" Clover grinned as she got up, tossed her letter into the mailbox, and left the room.

"As am I." Aztaroth stated as he turned over to Edna, "Well, this is definitely where we part ways in this challenge Edna. I sincerely doubt that you'll be able to make it past this challenge."

"Edna finished a while ago!" Edna smiled as she showed off her letter, which, like Monica's, was written in perfect cursive, causing Aztaroth's jaw to drop. "What's wrong mastaroth? You look all funny!"

Aztaroth took a moment to compose himself, "N-nothing... I'm just surprised. Let's get going."

Confessional: Aztaroth

"The hell was that!?" Aztaroth's eyes were wide, "There is no way that... thing... managed to write perfectly with her hands tied behind her back! She must've cheated somehow!"

Confessional Over

Confessional: Edna

"Heehee!" Edna gripped a pen in her mouth, "Edna loves to play with pens like this! Brother King even awarded Edna for her... uh... penship? Edna think that's it... by saying she wasn't completely trash!" Edna grew a look of sadness before sighing very loudly, "Edna misses brother King... he took so much care of Edna... he even gave me daddy as a playmate!"

Confessional Over

Monica made it to the morgue, where Salem was waiting outside of the door, "I just need to pick the lock for the third challenge right?" Monica asked the demon.

Salem grew a mischievous look, "Yes, but do know, as soon as you enter the room I'll be locking it again... wouldn't want you helping your friends now would I?"

"I understand." Monica nodded as Salem handed her a hairclip.

"This is all you get." Salem bluntly told the perfectionist as she moved onto the door.

While Monica worked on the door, Jacque and George showed up, with Davy and Deena joining not too long after.

"Uh uh." Salem mocked the prisoners, "It's one at a time, you'll have to wait for Monica over here to finish... after that it's anyone's game on who gets to try next."

"What!? That's no fair!" Davy complained.

"Oh it gets even worse than that too." Salem grinned as he pointed over at the clock, "You only have ten minutes left in this challenge..."

George's eyes widened, "Monica finish picking that lock like right now!"

"Yeah, we need to get in!" Deena crossed her arms.

"I'm trying! I've never done this before!" Monica yelled back as she accidentally put the hairclip in the right spot, causing the door to unlock, "Oh... Like that." Monica handed the hairclip back to Salem.

"You're free to go through Monica." Salem let Monica enter the morgue before closing the door and locking it again.

"Who-" Salem started but was cut off by literally everyone there saying 'me', "Hmm... you all want to go through so what if I just... whoops." Salem tossed the hairclip into the air.

"Davy's got it!" Davy jumped up to try and get the clip, only for Deena to jump in front of him and take it by catching it with her teeth., "Hey, that was Davy's!" Davy growled only for Deena to smirk back.

"Relax already Davy, I won't take that long." Deena rolled her eyes before going to pick the lock.

"You better not!" Davy clenched his fist in annoyance.

"Come on mastaroth! The other contestants are over there!" Edna gestured to where everyone else was waiting, with Clover just now joining them in line.

"Yeah, looks like there's an is-" Aztaroth stopped when he noticed something, "Edna..." Aztaroth got the attention of his new 'ally', "Do you see that intern over there... the one walking away from us?" Aztaroth whispered to Edna.

"What's wrong with him mastaroth? Is he moving too much for your taste!? Edna can take care of that easily!" Edna grinned.

"No... look, he has a keychain attached to his pocket, we can easily take an advantage for the challenge if we steal the keys from him... do you see what I mean?" Aztaroth asked his partner.

Edna's eyes widened, "Oh! You want Edna to make him not conscious anymore, Edna can do that!"

"What? N-" It was too late for Aztaroth to object to Edna, seeing as she already pounced on top of the intern and began to kick and bite him until he fell unconscious.

Aztaroth sighed as Edna returned with the keys in her mouth, before proceeding to spit the keys out in front of Aztaroth, "Here you go mastaroth!"

"Uh... thanks..." Aztaroth gagged as he turned around and knelt down to pick up the keys, "Now let's keep going."

"Aaand done!" Jade got up and tossed her letter into the mailbox, "Will you two be ok?" Jade asked the duo.

"Yeah!" Relinda optimistically stated.

"I doubt so." Rival looked down as he again failed to keep writing.

"Come on Rival, you can do it!" Jade tried cheering up the guitarist.

"Just go on already," Rival groaned, "I can accept a loss for today."

Relinda sighed, "I'll try cheering him up while I continue Jade, but you gotta keep going, there's no way there's that much time left!"

"Right!" Jade opened the door, "I'll see you later?"

"Of course, you will!" Relinda smiled, with Rival just giving an enthusiastic shrug in response.

Jade turned around and left the mailroom, leaving only two people left to finish the second challenge.

Deena smirked as she felt the door unlock, "That was way too easy." Deena tossed the hairclip away and entered the morgue.

"Alright, now who's n-" Salem again was cut off by everyone saying 'me', but one person said it louder than everyone else here.

"DAVY!" Davy growled, "Davy refuses to lose to Deena!"

"Well, here you go." Salem smirked as he held out the hairclip, which Davy grabbed with his teeth. After Davy got the clip, he wasted no time forcing it into the lock, and with no effort at all, Davy was able to unlock the door, which he kicked open for good effort, "You're done for Deena!" Davy ran into the room.

"I love watching humans fight over petty reasons," Salem grinned, "So who's next?"

"Hey, Salem!" Aztaroth called out with Edna following behind, "You never said stealing the keys was against the rules, so guess what we did?"

Salem's eyes lit up as he laughed, "Oho! I like the thinking! You two can go through!" Salem snatched the keys from Aztaroth and let them enter the morgue, leaving the rest of the prisoners there to complain about how unfair it was. "Oh quiet all of you, you all know you'd do the same if you thought about it." Salem rolled his eyes, "George, you can go next."

"Alright baby!" George took the clip and began to pick at the lock.

Monica looked around the morgue, not only was the room dimly lit, making it hard to see where any of the bodies where, but she could definitely see that there were more than thirty different 'bodies' in the room, meaning that some of them weren't gonna have keys at all. Monica decided not to hesitate and immediately started to check the first 'body' she could get to.

While Monica was searching the body, Deena finished unlocking the door and immediately ran over to whichever body was closest to start searching, "This'll be the easiest challenge win ever." Deena smirked as she turned around and began to grab onto the 'body' to see where the key was.

Davy kicked the door open, "You're done for Deena!" Davy yelled as he ran up to a 'body' and kicked it off the table, causing the key tucked into the pocket to slip onto the floor. Davy immediately kneeled down to the floor to pick up the key as Deena also discovered a key in the 'body' she was searching.

While Deena and Davy struggled to put their keys into their handcuffs, Aztaroth and Edna were just allowed into the morgue. Aztaroth noticed the two holding keys and turned over to Edna, "Edna, we obviously cannot win this challenge, so let's just earn immunity, got it?"

Edna nodded excitedly, "I got it mastaroth!"

Aztaroth and Edna both headed over to two different 'bodies' to go search them, while Monica ended up not finding a key in her 'body'.

Since the other three in the room were all distracted, Deena and Davy were left in the lead as the only two on the final part of the challenge. The two struggled with their handcuffs, but they both were able to put their keys in at the same time. Both of them pulled their keys at the same time, but only one pair of handcuffs unlocked...

...Deena's handcuffs fell to the ground as she stretched her arms out. Deena let out a yawn, "Looks like you got unlucky in the end Davy." Deena grinned as she shrugged, "Better luck next time I suppose."

"Dammit!" Davy yelled out as he dropped his key, "Fine. Davy will take second instead!" Davy began to twist his handcuffs around until they eventually broke. After breaking his handcuffs Davy let out a bit of a friendly laugh, "Ah, that was way more fun than Davy's had in a while, Deena! We gotta both get out of this prison so we can do it again sometime!"

"You're on." Deena grinned as she and Davy went over to the room's other exit.

Deena has won the challenge!

Davy has earned immunity!

"Finally." Monica mumbled to herself as she pulled out a key from her new 'body', only for the key to fail. "Seriously?" Monica groaned as she moved on to yet another 'body', this time hoping to actually get a working key.

"Found it." Aztaroth stated as he pulled a key out from his 'body'. Aztaroth fumbled with the key for a little bit until he managed to unlock his handcuffs with the key he found. "As expected, I am safe for the day." Aztaroth grinned as he looked over at Edna, who was chewing on the 'body's arm, revealing the wooden mannequin underneath it's clothes.

Aztaroth rolled his eyes at the sight, "I wish you the best of luck Edna." Aztaroth sarcastically stated as he left the room, passing by George who had just unlocked the door. With three people winning the challenge and five minutes now remaining... it was anyone's game for safety.

Aztaroth has earned immunity!

"Come on Rival! We can do it!" Relinda cheered for Rival as he continued to struggle to write his letter. Relinda had already finished her letter, but she wanted Rival to leave the room with her.

"There's no point." Rival stopped writing and looked down.

Relinda sighed, "Don't be like that, we can still make it to the end of this!"

"No. I'm not gonna be able to finish this on time. Even if I do, everyone else is probably already done with the challenge... so I'll just be taking your immunity today anyways." Rival replied, "Just get going, I'm ready to go back to jail already."

"Bu-" Relinda started.

"Go." Rival snapped, causing Relinda to rush out of the room. Rival watched as the waitress left the room before sighing, "Ally... I shouldn't even be here..." Rival teared up, "Why would someone like me deserve to go out free into the world?"

More and more people began to pile into the Morgue, with only Rival, Jade, and Relinda being the people outside of it at the moment, but not everyone was having luck finding a key. The person in the lead at the moment was Jacque, who was using his skills at pickpocketing to easily search through each 'body' he encountered, while Monica was still struggling to find a key that worked.

Jacque picked out a key from his 'body' and took a moment to put it into his handcuffs. Jacque twisted the key and... the handcuffs unlocked, making Jacque another safe prisoner. Jacque sighed in relief as he grabbed his wrist, "That hurt like hell, man." Jacque told himself as he got used to being able to use his arms properly again.

"Hmmm..." Clover grinned as she messed around with the body, "Right here should be good..." Clover turned slightly so she could so what pocket she was searching through, Clover then reached into the pocket and pulled out a key. The despair-obsessed girl put the key into her handcuffs, only for them to not unlock. "Oh well." Clover grinned as she began to slip her hands out of her own handcuffs. After a little while, Clover managed to completely slip out of the handcuffs, adding yet another safe person to the list.

Jacque has earned immunity!

Clover has earned immunity!

Relinda made it to the morgue's door as Jade unlocked it and headed in, "Do I still have time?" Relinda asked Salem who grinned in response.

"Oh yes... but you have three minutes..." Salem gave her the clip, "Good luck."

Relinda gulped as she turned around to grab the clip, "Uh oh..."

Three minutes...

Monica sighed as she moved away from her third 'body'... there was no key to be found.

Jade hurried over to a 'body' and began to do whatever she could to get a key out of it.

Edna finally found a key on complete accident while she was chewing on her 'body'. "Oh! This is what Aztaroth did!" Edna followed verbatim how Aztaroth put his key in his handcuffs and unlocked hers, making her safe as well.

George also found a key on his 'body', the quarterback pulled the key out and successfully was able to put the key into the handcuffs, but his key ended up being another fake. "Fuck!" George yelled out in annoyance, knowing that time was running out.

Edna has earned immunity!

Two minutes...

Relinda finally got the door open and rushed over to a 'body' in an attempt to earn safety. The waitress began to dig through the 'body's pockets as fast as she could, eventually managing to find one in its pocket. Relinda put the key into her handcuffs, only for her to drop it onto the floor, "No!" Relinda shouted out as she went over to the key.

George looked through another 'body', but this time didn't find anything in its pockets, "Come on already!" George began to sweat from his nervousness.

Monica was now onto her fourth 'body' and she desperately searched through it to find a working key.

"Please..." Jade winced as she found no key in her 'body'. Jade looked around for a body that hadn't already been searched as the final minute approached...

One minute...

Monica kept up her search, there weren't too many pockets left on this 'body', but this one had to have a key somewhere...

Jade decided to give up on searching another body and instead focused on trying to break her handcuffs. Her plan was to try breaking them against one of the metal bed frames in the morgue. Jade began to hit her handcuffs against the frame over and over to break the cuffs...

Relinda finally picked up the key she dropped and began to struggle to put it into her handcuffs. After a little struggle, she got the key into her handcuffs...

George, like Jade before him, appeared to also get the idea of breaking his handcuffs. George noticed a loose brick in the wall and pulled it out. George then turned around, lifted up his arms as far back as he could, and attempted to hit his cuffs onto the break... only for him to hit his wrist on the brick instead. A loud crack echoed through the morgue as George let out a scream of pure pain...

While the other three attempted to get their cuffs off, Rival just sat in the mailroom and waited for time to run out...

Zero minutes...

"Time's up!" Chris announced as Salem teleported himself and Chris into the room. "So everyone here who failed to finish the challenge... you're now up for elimination..." Chris looked at the three in the room, "However... one of you managed to free your arms before time ran out... care to show everyone here?"

It was only a matter of who escaped... did Jade break her handcuffs? Did George manage to break his handcuffs before time ran out? Or did Relinda's key end up working? Did Monica find a key that worked? The answer was revealed when the person who freed themselves lifted up their arms to show their victory...

...George held up his arms, revealing that his real plan was to break his wrist so he could slide his arm out of the cuffs. George held back tears as he gave a grin of victory.

"Congratulations George..." Chris gave a clap, "You've earned the final immunity today... I'll see you three and Rival at the elimination ceremony today..." Chris grinned at the other three.

"Can you just heal my hand already!?" George shouted out in pain.

Salem rolled his eyes, "Ok ok, stop being such a baby." Salem healed George's hand before teleporting away with Chris...

The Prisoners once again sat in the middle of the cafeteria as Chris paced around the room, "Well I must say... we have an interesting scenario here..." Chris announced as Deena gave a slight grin, "But, regardless, if I call your name, you are safe from elimination for the day." Chris circled the table the prisoners sat at, "Obviously, Deena is safe for the day."

Deena got up and walked away from the table, "Too easy." Deena thought to herself.

"Now for the other immune people... Davy..." Chris announced.

Davy smirked, "Oh yeah, Davy was a champ in this challenge!"

"Jacque..."

Jacque didn't say anything, instead choosing to roll his eyes in response.

"Aztaroth..."

"It took you long enough." Aztaroth also rolled his eyes.

"Edna..."

"Yay! Edna gets to stay with mastaroth for longer!" Edna jumped with excitement.

"I told you to stop calling me that!" Aztaroth's eye twitched.

"George..."

"That's what the best gets!" George smirked cockily.

"And lastly... Clover..."

"This challenge was quite disappointing... I was hoping for a better feeling of hopelessness here..." Clover complained.

"Now for the rest of you... you're all in danger because you failed to complete the challenge... but... Jade... you're safe..."

Jade breathed a huge sigh of relief.

"Rival..."

Rival shook his head and walked away from the table.

"Now this is what I mean by we have an interesting scenario..." Chris grinned, "Why... neither of you got a vote from Deena."

"What!?" Both Relinda and Monica let out in surprise.

"So... who's leaving then?" Relinda asked.

"Well... neither of you are..." Chris shrugged.

"Oh thank goodness." Monica gave a smile of relief.

"Yeah... thank you, Deena." Relinda breathed heavily.

"Such a tender moment, isn't it?" Chris grinned, "Salem, take Monica away." Chris ordered his demonic intern, who gave an evil grin in response.

"What!?" Deena got up, "I didn't vote for her!" Deena yelled at the host.

"Oh I am fully aware... did you really think I'd let something like that happen?" Chris cruelly replied, "Of course not... there are no loopholes to avoiding elimination, and what's worse than eliminating you, Deena? Making you responsible for someone as weak as Monica being sent back to prison, for an especially long time too..." Chris grinned, "And it doesn't end there either... you're going to solitary for the rest of the day too... never try to be a smart aleck ever again..." Chris threatened the delinquent.

"Please! You can't do this!" Monica broke down, "I can't go back there!"

"Oh, we sure can." Salem shook his head before grabbing Monica, "You can blame Deena for you being sent back to prison and ruining your chances of freedom... it is her fault after all."

"No it's-" Deena started, by Salem cut her off by snapping his fingers and teleporting her away to solitary.

"You're a real bastard, you know that?" Jacque crossed his arms.

"Come on!" Rival got up and objected, "This is just cruel! Send me instead, Monica doesn't deserve this!"

"There will be no acts of heroism here." Chris shook his head, "But let this be a reminder to all of you..." Chris looked over at the rest of the prisoners, with most of them looking at him with rage, while others didn't care as they were more worried about other things, "If you ever... try to step out of line to save someone ever again, there will be severe consequences for it. You wouldn't want to be responsible for something like this again wo-"

"Just get it over with already!" Monica yelled, catching the surprise of a few people in the room, she was doing her best to hold back tears, "Stop making a song out and dance out of this... just send me back!"

"As you wish." Salem grinned as he teleported away with Monica.

"Well... that's all for the rest of you... enjoy another few days of freedom here while you still can." Chris walked off, leaving the rest of the prisoners to sit in anger, apathy, or joy in Clover's case.

After the shock of Monica being taken away wore off, the prisoners slowly left the room one by one, leaving only Jade and Davy to sit there.

"One day..." Jade clenched her fist, "You'll get what's yours, Chris..."

"I..." Davy started, catching Jade off-guard with him stopping his third-person speech, "I can't believe I'm feeling bad about an opponent going home. I should be happy that the competition is gone."

Before Jade could say anything Davy began to leave the room, "Oh... you're here." Davy just now noticed Jade staying there, "Davy just needs a moment to think, don't bother talking to him right now."

As Davy walked off, Jade was left wondering what just happened with Davy... was there something more to him?...

Edna joyfully pranced around the halls of the prison, she didn't want to go to bed just yet, so she figured she'd go wild around the prison.

"Edna can't wait for the next game!" Edna told herself as she ran into the mail room, "She's gonna make mastaroth proud!"

Edna then began to tear up random objects inside the room for fun, all while keeping a smile on her face.

After continuing her spree of destroying random objects inside of the mail room, Edna prepared to leave the room after she destroyed one more object. "What should Edna break now?" Edna asked herself before noticing the mailbox that was attached to the wall, "Ooh! Edna should try using that as a chew toy!" Edna began to use her claws to tear open the mailbox, only for something to drop out once she clawed it open.

"Huh?" Edna tilted her head as she investigated the object on the ground, it was a freedom idol...

"Oh my..." Edna stopped for a moment, "Edna has a new chew toy!" Edna jumped with joy as she bit down on the freedom idol, only to immediately spit it out, "Ew! It's too dusty for Edna!" Edna complained as she stabbed a hole through the idol with her claw, "Edna knows what dusty toys deserve!" Edna ran out of the mailroom.

Edna kept running until she made it to the outside of the prison, well the outside of the prison that the prisoners were allowed to explore, "Bad toys deserve to be buried!" Edna laughed as she dug into the dirt outside and tossed the idol in. After she tossed the idol into the hole and began to cover it with dirt.

"Edna should go chew on some of mastaroth's things! Edna is sure he'll love it!" Edna ran back inside, leaving the freedom idol in the dirt...

And there goes Monica, it really makes you wonder why these guys haven't learned to not push their luck, to be honest. But hey, who cares about the elimination when it's Unlawgust, aka time to see how many chapters of this I can get out by the end of August, here's hoping I can at least make the halfway point! Anyways, time to move onto reasoning for elim.

Reasoning for elimination:

Monica was a character who I wanted to have start out as an underdog by losing against Picollo in the first round, and then to slowly build up as an actual player, doing well in the racing challenge and winning the 'death' game challenge. But I also wanted her to be cheated out of the game to show just how cruel Chris and Salem are when people try to go and do the right thing. It sucks to see her go like this, especially when she's a really interesting character, but it's the way things had to be.

Vote Confessional:

"Psh," Deena shrugged, "I'll just vote for myself, since I'm immune the vote will become invalid. Figured I might as well since people will be less likely to target me, and since nobody I dislike is able to be voted off." Deena checked her own card.
