"This is the prison I was telling you about." A 5'9" average-built male told another male as they sat on a boat outside of Hope's Lament, he had black hair that was neatly combed back and light blue eyes. The man wore a dark brown waistcoat on top of a white linen shirt and a white kerchief, as well as wearing white britches and black boots with buckles on them, "It's truly a marvel of this world, isn't it? One that really makes a man wonder how it got here... and why it gives people black magic." The man told the man he was with.
"I'm not so certain about this Gael..." The man replied, he stood at 5'11" and had black hair with two prominent curls, as well as muted gray eyes. He wore a brown sweater, white britches and... wait... this was the same man that Rival saw in his nightmare... "Humans shouldn't dare touch what they can't properly understand. Especially something as... purely satanic as this...if it's even real like you say..."
"Abigor, please," Gael held his hands together, "If we can find a way to make this available to the common man, we could change the world for the better. Someone might gain the ability to heal the sick and so much more! Once we discover how to share this with others, we can turn this horrid place into something good for humanity."
"Before you even think about... changing everything, could you at least prove that this... magic... works?" Abigor asked, "We shouldn't be getting ahead of ourselves."
"Of course, observe..." Gael held out his arm, only for it to transform into a swarm of cockroaches, which caused Abigor to jump back in fright, "Oh r-right! I should've warned you about this, my apologies Abigor."
Abigor shivered and gripped his arms, "T-tt-that's pure horror there... t-that's not a gift! That's a curse! Gael, are you ok!?"
Gael turned his arm back to normal, "I'm much much better than ok, Abigor, I've discovered something truly amazing... It did take me a little while to get used to, I suppose, but I was amazed to see this for the first time!"
"But think about the atrocities that could be committed if the wrong person ended up with this power!" Abigor began to tear up, "The redcoats were able to commit such horrid... they killed civilians Gael! If this is given to the rest of the world, humans will abuse it to cause more harm in the world!"
Gael grabbed Abigor's shoulder in an attempt to calm him down, "Abigor, you must retain your collectedness and just think for a mome-"
"I can't stay calm when seeing this!" Abigor yelled, "I watched friends in the army be completely destroyed by cannon fire and muskets! I'm not watching even more horrid acts happen!"
"Abigor..." Gael hugged his friend, "It's alright... the war is over..."
Abigor leaned back, "I... just... please, think of the consequences before you do this... please... just for me?"
Gael softly nodded, "Of course... I truly believe this could be used to benefit everyone... but I will take into account what you said..."
Abigor responded by kissing Gael, "Thank you, my love..."
Gael gave a slight smile back, "You're welcome..."
