Chapter 2

Miguel was very lost in the vast Mexico City. His family could never afford to travel so he had only ever been to California and Ecuador. He found a slightly run-down motel along the street. The rooms were cheap, but his budget was short. He calculated that he had one week to stay in Mexico City and find his dad. The motel room was disgusting, but Miguel had trained in worse locations with Johnny.

After checking in, Miguel headed for a bar. This was the perfect spot to find gang members. He tried asking other patrons if they knew his father's name. Nobody seemed to know anything or maybe neglected to tell him. He felt like had just moved to Reseda again, frustrated and alone. Until he saw one customer give him a fearful look and quickly exit the building.

"HEY! Wait!" Miguel yelled in Spanish as he made a run for the fleeing man.

Miguel chased him down the corner of an alley. The stranger pulled out a knife and pointed it toward Miguel.

"Woah! Woah! Relax!" Miguel cried. "Do you know something about my father?"

"I know of him. Why does that concern you?" inquired the man holding the blade.

"I'm searching for him," answered Miguel.

The man retracted the blade.

"I never knew a man so heartless could ever have a son," said the man to himself. "You can find out more about him here." He hands Miguel an address. "Look kid I'm sure you have questions that need answers, but you need to be careful. He's a dangerous man. For your own don't get too involved with him. Good luck" said the man as he parted the alleyway.

Miguel was very satisfied with his progress. Though he felt a slight unease about what the man said about his father. He knew from his mom that his dad was caught in something illegal. But he never thought his father could cause that much fear in someone. Miguel decided to head back to his motel and call it a night.

"Why the hell would you say that to him!"

"What do you think you're doing turning my daughter into a rage machine!"

The LaRusso house was in major disarray. Johnny brought Robby to the LaRusso house to talk about Miguel. After giving an explanation the whole house blew up. Carmen cried loudly in the corner, Sam and her dad were yelling at Robby and Amanda was lecturing Johnny about the "bat-shit crazy kick" he taught her daughter. Anthony watched everything unfold with a blank expression. Until a certain someone walked into the room…

"QUIET!" boomed Chozen.

Everyone was jumped at the sound of the sensei's interruption. Even Johnny looked frightened.

"This is no way to solve problem," said Chozen.

"He's right," said Daniel. "Miguel knows that his father lives in Mexico."

"Great! But I still don't know where he is," responded Johnny.

"Found him! Find my iPhone!" exclaimed Carmen. "He's somewhere in Mexico City!"

"How come my phone doesn't do that!" complained Johnny banging his phone on the table.

"It DOES," said Robby snatching his phone and turning it on.

"Oh shit!" exclaimed Johnny. "Well, I'm not wasting any more time. I'm going to find him."

"Wait! I'll come too. This is my mess I need to help fix it," said Robby. Johnny nodded.

"I'm coming too!" Sam added.

"The hell you are!" her parents yelled.

"He's my boyfriend! I'm supposed to just sit around here and wait!"

"Don't worry LaRusso I'll bring him back in one piece," Johnny assured Sam patting her on the shoulder. He started to leave with Robby and nodded at Chozen. "He's bad-ass how do you know him?"

"Long story," chuckled Daniel. "Good luck!"

Kreese was shoved roughly into his prison cell. He felt insulted. He fought for this country's freedom, and he's being treated like a dog. The guards treat him like garbage, and he can't even strike back. He sat in his cell brooding. He saved Silver worthless ass, and this is how he is repaid?

"KREESE! Dinner time!" yelled the guard.

Kreese slouched into the mess hall under the supervision of the guard. The food looked revolting. But he had eaten worse in Vietnam. He found a secluded corner to eat until a certain someone approached him.

"Well look who it is!" exclaimed the man. "Sensei Kreese in the slammer!"

Kreese turned to see a grown-up Dutch smiling at him.
