Day 4: Cat Model
When Adrien could transform into Chat Noir—whether there was an akuma or he was just patrolling because he had the time and enjoyed the freedom—the last thing he wanted to do was model anything.
Unless if it was for a friend. Especially a friend like Marinette.
Most of the time, he could never say no to anything that was asked of him. But when Marinette asked for something small, there wasn't any pressure. He knew he could say no if he really wanted to, which was why he always wanted to say yes to her.
"So, how does it look?" Chat asked the designer/photographer after putting on the jacket she'd made.
"Excellent," Marinette said with a smile. Chat stood where her chaise used to be—he'd helped her move it to make room for the folding scene backdrop he was standing in front of. She'd just readjusted the lighting in her bedroom and she had her phone ready to start taking pictures. "Now, I want you to pose but also try to look natural," she said as she backed up a bit. "Does that make sense?" she asked, a bit unsure.
Chat gave her a thumbs up. He knew what to do. "I'll do my best," he reassured her.
Marinette smiled as Chat started posing. Marinette snapped a picture, then he'd shift to another one.
"Good, good. Nice! Turn a bit…good! Remember to smile. That's it. Uh, move your arm a bit closer to-yeah, that's great!" Marinette said as she snapped picture after picture, each better than the last, but all wonderful. "Wow, Chat. You're a natural at this," she said to him, lowering her phone.
Chat got nervous for a second. He didn't want her to figure out that he knew what he was doing so well because he actually was a model.
"You should see my cat-walk," he said in his customary, Chat Noir, jokey manner while striking an over-done pose to match.
Marinette just giggled.
"Yeah, I don't think there's enough room in here for that," she replied, then took a picture of him still in the cat-pose just for the heck of it.
Chat mentally sighed in relief. "Well, maybe the next time you have something for me to model, we could find a place," he said, shifting into another pose that was a little less ridiculous.
The suggestion made Marinette grin. He didn't mind doing this again in the future.
"Silly kitty," she said before focusing back on capturing his next couple of poses.
Now this was the kind of photoshoot Adrien liked the best; silly, unprofessional, and free. So yeah, he'd volunteer to be Marinette's model again in a heartbeat.
Modeling for his father's brand was stressful and demanding. But modeling for Marinette was actually fun.
See u tomorrow =^.^=
