Luz feel to her knees and started crying. She wasn't able to save Eda. She was petrified. She felt something touch her shoulder and looked up.

"Take a long look. This is the same fate you will have if you don't renounce your wild ways." Belos said, "Think about it, if you give up and I'll place you in the same school your friends are in. Doesn't that sound fun?"

Luz looked around and saw that she was surrounded. Luz tightened her grip on Eda's staff and slammed it down. The result was a blast of light that blinded the guards and Belos. She used the opportunity to fly away from there, sending one last look at Eda.

"I'm sorry." She said, "I failed you."

Belos watched as she flew away.

"Sir, do you wish for us to follow?" Kikimora asked.

"From a distance. Don't attack or be spotted until I give the signal. In order for this to work, every step must be perfect."

"Is that why you invited her friends to join the Coven Guard Training Academy? As well as give Lilith a vacation?"

"Yes, when we attack, she be captured and we can finally put an end to her."

"But, won't people get suspicious?"

"Not if we say they were killed by a Wild Witch." Belos said, "Now go, make sure she doesn't let anyone know what just happened."

Kikimora bowed and sent a group after Luz. Belos walked over to Eda and put a hand on her head.

"You never should've challenged me." He said, "Bring this statue to my throne room, I'll figure out what to do with it then."

Luz landed outside of the Owl House and stumbled inside. She closed the door and fell to her knees. She started to cry again.

"Luz?"

Luz turned and saw King.

"L-L-Luz, w-w-where's Eda? I thought you went to go save her." King asked.

Luz continued to cry and King ran over to her. He hugged her arm.

"Luz, please don't cry. Everything will be okay."

Luz pulled King into a full hug and he held on until she was done crying.

"He knew what he was doing. He didn't announce that he was petrifying her."

"Why would he do that?" King asked.

"I don't know. He's planning something."

"Luz, let's just figure this out in the morning." King said, "Luz? Are you coming?"

"I... I need a minute."

"O-o-okay."

King went upstairs and Luz sat on the couch.

"I'm sorry, Eda. I failed you." Luz said, starting to cry again, "I'm a failure. It's all my fault!"

I have a more than two weeks worth of chapters written for this, so I might as well start posting it. By the way, most of them were written before the start of season two so some stuff, mainly involving King, no longer hold up... but I'm too sick to fucking care. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
