Kikimora walked up to the throne.

"Sir, I have the results of our attack on the Owl House." She said.

"Excellent, tell me, were there any problems?" Belos asked.

"A few things that will be taken care of by themselves." Kiki said, "The building itself is protected from anything trying to destroy it. That being said, it is slightly damaged."

"Well, I can easily spin that into something favorable. What else, what about the occupents?"

"The door demon is... indisposed. The demon pet the Owl Lady had, turned out to be a Wendigo, has been taken into custody. The Human... escaped."

Belos gripped his throne and his eyes glowed blue.

"What?" Belos growled.

"Fear not, she was hit by three arrows, and has reported to have landed on the Knee."

Belos calmed down and let out a low hum.

"I see. There are reports of a massive snowstorm approaching. There's no way she'll be able to survive. Excellent work Kikimora. Now leave me, I must come up with an explanation."

Kiki bowed and left the room. Under his mask, he smiled. He stood up and walked to a window, he stared in the direction of the Knee.

"You should've taken my offer. Enjoy freezing to death."

On the Knee, Owlbert nudged Luz's head. She slowly opened her eyes and used her good arm to pick herself up. She looked around and saw a cave. At first, she thought it would be dangerous especially in the current state she's in, but it's either risk that or freeze to death in the open. She picked up Owlbert's stick and limped into the cave. She made it in, right as a snowstorm hit. She put her hood up as she started shivering. She knew she was either going to freeze or bleed out.

"T-t-think... L-L-Luz, think." She said, shivering.

She thought back to her Healing Class. She remembered there was lesson on healing in the wild if magic fails.

"Y-y-you can... d-d-do this."

Luz grabbed one of the arrows and broke off the end. She bit back a scream as she pulled it out. She quickly cut off a part of her hoodie and wrapped it up. She did the same with the other two and then thought about what to do next.

"N-n-next s-s-step... fire."

Luz pulled out the sword she brought with her and started cutting roots that dug through the stone. She placed them on the ground and looked around. She didn't have a fire glyph with her, or even a pen or paper. She did see something though, a rock her mom told her about.

"T-t-they... h-h-have f-f-flint."

Luz grabbed it and put her knife against it. Spark hit the roots and the small kindling she cut off. She blew on it to get it started. She rubbed her arms and let the fire warm her up.

"I don't know what I'm going to do Owlbert. If I go back to the main land, I'll most likely be captured and probably killed." Luz looked out of the cave and saw how bad it was snowing, "Maybe I should just figure it out in the morning."

She laid down and closed her eyes, hoping that she would actually make it to tomorrow.
