Luz picked herself up and brushed the snow off her body. She looked at the skull and nodded.
"Thank you." She said, going into her cabin.
The Titan had given her the knowledge of a spell that can reverse Petrification, far different from the potion in the book. She had a lot of work to do before Belos attempts to create the Day of Unity again. She only had three weeks until then according to the Titan. Which means she needs to work on her magic if she wants to perform the spell correctly. Luz made a spell circle, which fizzled out quickly.
"This will be a lot of work." She said, "Good thing I have time."
At the castle, Amity looked at the statue. She didn't know what to think, everything she's been told for the past decade is a lie.
"If... if Eda's stone and hidden down here, then that means... Belos lied." Amity said, "He petrified Eda, he's the one that attacked the Owl House, he's the reason that Luz is on the Knee, not because of some wild witch."
Amity threw the sheet over Eda before looking at her.
"I'm sorry, Eda. I promise I'll find a way to help fix you." Amity said, "I'll be back."
Amity began to walk towards the stairs when she heard the door open. She began to panic, knowing only one person was allowed down here. She quickly looked around for a place to hide when she saw a large chest. She quickly opened it and got inside it. She noticed there were several small treasures inside, one that she recognized vividly. She picked it up and looked at it, before she froze at a voice.
"So, we're approaching the of this game." Belos said, removing the sheet over Eda, "The real question is, when do I do with you once this is all over?"
He stared at the Owl Beast, smirking under his mask.
"Perhaps put you on display, after all, no one can stop me after that." Belos said, "Or perhaps I'll crush you into gravel, get rid of you once and for all. Whatever I plan to do with you, I know one thing... I'll make sure your apprentice watches. I'll make sure she is chained down, her eyes forced open, as you receive your punishment... and then... I'll make sure she suffers."
Amity had to withhold a gasp to avoid being discovered.
"First, I will have a spell placed on her, so that she will live through the whole ordeal. I will peel her skin off, drop her exposed muscles into the Boiling Ocean, as the creatures begin to devour her, she will beg for mercy. When all that's left is her head and skeleton, I will give her bones to hell hounds, then I will put her head on display for all to see, while keeping her alive so she can tell and relive the pain." Belos said, "I can't wait."
He put the sheet over Eda again, before walking up the stairs. Amity waited a few minutes before she got out of the chest. She grabbed the item in it and hid it in her cloak. If the prison tag they placed on it is anything to go by, then she knows where she needs to go. She made her way to the Conformitorium and used her status to get into the restricted zone. She stood in front of a special cell, one that prevents a specific prisoner from using his strength to escape. She was very nervous.
"I need your help." She said.
Two glowing eyes emerged from the darkness and a large clawed hand grabbed the bars, and a growl came from the dark shadows.
"In return, I'll get you out of here and you'll be able to help me save Luz." Amity looked at him and held up a red collar with a gold tag, "What do you say?"
