Amity was nervous, this was her one attempt at redeeming herself to Luz. She was doing paperwork when she heard a cough. She looked up and saw Willow and Gus.
"Hi, what can I help you with?" Amity asked.
"Amity, we're worried about you." Willow said, "You've been distant for the past few days, ever since you got back from the Knee."
"There's nothing wrong." Amity said, "I'm just working hard on something."
"Amity, this is just like with what happened after you found out Luz was dead." Gus said, "We don't want something to happen to you."
"I said, I'm fine." Amity said, standing up, "Now, I need to get to the Conformatorium."
Amity left and quickly walked away from them. She wanted to tell them, but if they learned about what she was going to do, they might try and stop her, or worse, let Belos know.
'Well, this is going to be hard, but faking your own death is rarely ever easy.' Amity thought.
She made it to the Conformatorium, where she found Warden Wrath waiting for her. A few days earlier, Belos requested the transfer of a prisoner to his dungeon and Amity was more than willing to take the job. She was there a few days prior, so it was a good cover that she was checking on the prisoner.
"Miss Blight, I see you've returned." Wrath said, "Are you here for the prisoner?"
"Indeed." She said, "Bring me to him."
Wrath, Amity, and several other guards went to the lowest level. They shined a light in the cell... and found it empty.
"What!?" Wrath said, "How could you imbeciles let the most dangerous prisoner escape!? Get in there and look for anything on how he escaped!"
The guards got their spears ready and opened the cell. They slowly walked in, looking for it. At the end of the hall, hidden in the shadow's, the prisoner removed his collar and returned to his normal form. The sound of a screech was heard, making Wrath looked in the direction of it, just in time to see the Wendigo running at him. Wrath was hit by a massive backhand that sent him into the wall, knocking him out. The guards threw their spears at him, but they had little effect. He roared at them and ran at them with his head lowered. He impaled one of the guards on his antlers. He shook him off, spreading blood everywhere. He turned and bit down on another guard, shaking him until his lower body fell off. He swallowed the upper part of the now deceased guard before turning to the last one. The last one put his hands up.
"Steve doesn't get paid enough for this." Steve said.
The wendigo was by an Abomination from behind, making him turn around. Amity was in the process of making a spell circle, ready to make another Abomination to launch at the Prisoner. The Wendigo ran at her and grabbed her in its hand. He began to run towards the ground floor.
"Attention all guards, Amity Blight has been taken hostage by Prisoner 76634." Steve said over the intercom, "I repeat, Amity Blight has been taken hostage. All guards needed."
The prisoner was almost to the front door before noticing that there were a couple of guards blocking the door, with almost all the guards on the next level, running to stop him.
"Stop! Drop the woman and stand down!" The Guard said.
Several guards made it into the main floor and surrounded him. He reached out and grabbed a guard, slamming him on the ground, snapping his bones, before using him as a weapon, slamming him against several other guards. He slammed Amity on the ground, which led to her pretending to be knocked out. He grabbed another guard and used his strength to rip him in half, making the guard scream in indescribable pain. He slammed both halves of the guard down and stomped on him. He sunk his claws into the ground and pulled up a giant stone. He threw it and it crushed two guards between the stone and wall. He let out an ear shattering screech, which made several guards ears bleed. He picked up Amity and broke through the door. He ran deep into the woods before he let Amity go.
"Thanks, now, we need to make this look good." Amity said, removing her cloak.
An hour later, the remaining guards found Amity's cloak, ripped, covered in blood, and had several bones around it. Warden Wrath walked forward and picked it up.
"Call the Emperor." He said, "He'll want to know about this."
On the Knee, Luz swung her axe down on a small log. She reached down and tossed the split wood onto the firewood pile. She puts another log on the stump she uses to split logs when she heard footsteps in the fresh snow. She turned around and saw Amity.
"I said to never come back." Luz said, angrily.
"Luz, just listen to-"
Luz picked up the log and ripped it in two with her bare hands.
"I recommend you get out of here." Luz said, picking her axe back up, "Before I get close."
Luz started walking towards Amity, the axe ready to clear a spot between Amity's head and neck, when someone stood between them.
"Stop!"
Luz looked down and lowered the axe, before dropping it on the ground.
"King?"
