Luz fell to her knees and hugged King. For so long, she wondered what happened to him, and she honestly feared the worst, so to have him here, it made her feel emotions she hasn't felt in years.

"King, I... I can't believe you're here!" Luz said, smiling and crying tears of joy.

"She helped me escape." he said, pointing at Amity.

"A-A-Amity helped you?" Luz asked, standing up, "Let's go inside."

King followed Luz, until Luz stood on her porch for a second and looked at Amity, who was still standing there.

"You coming?" Luz asked, "It's too cold for you to be out here without a jacket or something."

Amity slowly walked towards the cabin door, when Luz grabbed her arm, making her stop. Without looking up, or even looking anywhere but the ground, Luz said a simple two words.

"Thank you."

"I had to make it up to you." Amity said, "I found Eda, she was hidden in the catacombs of the castle, where all the forbidden history is. Luz, I am going to do whatever it takes to help you save her."

Luz closed her eyes and walked inside. At the castle, Belos was looking at Amity's cloak.

"Such a shame." Belos said, "She had so much potential. Search the Isles for the Prisoner."

"Yes, Emperor Belos." the Guards said.

"My Liege."

Belos looked and turned to see Willow and Gus.

"Speak." Belos said.

"We're requesting to join this mission." Willow said, "Amity was our leader and our best friend, if anyone should be on this mission, it should be us."

"Very well." Belos said, "Go rest, you leave at dawn."

Willow and Gus bowed as they left. When they leave the room, they look at each other.

"Where do you think she is?" Gus asked.

"No clue, but whatever she's doing, I hope she's safe."

They knew Amity wasn't dead, it would take more than a simple Wendigo to take her out, not to mention that the blood stains don't match up with it. It was spilt after her cloak was ripped. The reason they were joining this, was because they wanted to find Amity. Later, Luz was finished cutting her firewood and was done stacking it. She wiped the sweat off her forehead and put the axe in her shed. She went inside and smelt food. She walked into the kitchen and found Amity.

"Oh, Luz, you're done." Amity said, noticing Luz, "I made dinner. You, uh, don't have much here so... I hope you like steak."

The two ate dinner in silence, tension was still pretty thick between them.

"So, you're looking... good." Amity said.

"Yeah, fighting for survival really keeps you fit." Luz said, "What happened to us, Amity? We used to be really close. Now we can't even have a normal conversation."

"Yeah, because we were on opposite sides." Amity said, "You were on the run, presumed dead, while I was being manipulated. Everything has changed so much; we may never go back to the way we were before."

Luz nodded sadly.

"But." Luz looked up at Amity, "No matter what happens, I'll be by your side this time. I promise. No matter what, we can fix this together."

Luz smiled.

"You remembered." Luz said.

"Always." Amity said, "Being told you were... Killed, was the worst thing that ever happened. That was the modo I used to keep going. For everyone I helped lock away, I would always think, 'I'm fixing this world', and until today, I never thought about anything different."

Amity got up and grabbed Luz's hands.

"And Now, I'm going to fix my past mistake and help you save Eda."

"Thank you, Amity."

I decided to make Willow and Gus know that Amity faked her death, because you've had enough angst... for now. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
