Amity, Willow, Gus, and Luz walked to Eda. This was the first time in a decade that Luz has seen her teacher and after all these years, she can finally fulfil her promise. Luz couldn't move for a second, trying to process all these emotions she's feeling.
"Luz?" Amity asked, "Are you okay?"
"Y-y-yeah, it's just... I can't believe this is actually happening." Luz said, "After all these years, I'm finally able to save her, I'm finally able to bring Eda back. It's... it's hard to believe."
"Well, if you can't, we'll do the spell-"
"No! I need to do this!" Luz said, "I... I'm the only one the knows the spell."
Luz walked up to Eda and placed a hand on her gem. Luz used her other hand and made a spell circle. A bright glow moved from Luz's arm and covered Eda in a yellow glow. The stone slowly receded, and the curse began to disappear, returning her to both the land of the living and giving her back her old body and magic back. After the glow left, Eda opened her eyes and looked at Luz.
"Kid?" Eda said, "Is... is it really you?"
Luz jumped at Eda, hugging her and crying into her chest.
"Eda! You're back!" Luz said.
Eda hugged her back.
"Yeah, I'm back Kid... all because of you." Eda said, "Thank you."
Luz broke the hugged and smiled at Eda. Eda noticed that Luz was looking pale.
"Are... are you okay, Kid?"
"Y-y-yeah... I... I'm fine." Luz said, stumbling a little.
Luz began to fall before Eda caught her.
"Luz!"
Amity, Willow, and Gus ran over to her. They all looked at Luz, who was smiling.
"I finally did it." Luz said, "I... I can die happy now."
"What!?" They all said.
Amity thought back to when her and Luz were training.
'I won't be able to be there for you'
Willow and Gus thought back to what Luz said a couple days earlier.
'It will be nice to have one last adventure with my friends.'
They realized... Luz didn't mean that she was too broken to be with her friends anymore... she knew she was going to die after performing the spell. Luz looked at them.
"It's... okay." Luz said, "The... Titan told me... the spell... would kill me... I was... ready."
"No... w-w-well save you!" Amity said, "We'll find go to the place you learned the spell!"
"The spell... has been... lost to... history." Luz said, "Life… Transference… It's... dying... with me."
Luz began to close her eyes, as her friends and Eda began to scream her name. A few days later, they stood in front of a gravestone.

Amity placed down a small potted tree, the same one she and Luz made during Grom. Willow put Luz's favorite flowers down, White Lily's. Gus put down a book about Human stuff that Luz made notes for. King put down the small crown she gave him when they first met. Eda walked up, with Owlbert on her shoulder. She placed down Luz's folded cloak, wrapped up with a new tag on it.
To a beloved daughter, from a proud mother.
Eda placed a hand on the stone and used her other arm to wipe the tears away.
"Keep the afterlife warm, Kid... we'll see you when we get there."
Behind them, was Luz's ghost, watching.
"I will." She said, knowing they can't hear or see her.
She climbed on Blizzard and took off to the Knee, the real place she died and the place her spirit would remain, waiting for her friends to join her.
