Escape the Party Planet
Damian paused behind a strut as he watched the stormtroopers winding their way through the crowd. The club's main chamber, which took up most of the massive building, was filled with couples and groups, all in various stages of undress, and almost all engaged in some kind of intimate activity. There were drinks everywhere, both being enjoyed and abandoned in favor of something more physical, and Damian could see at least twelve separate groups using a variety of drugs, almost all of which were legal on Zeltros. However, because the Imperials were generally unhappy about their reasoning for being there, as well as wearing full armor and carrying weapons, they generally went unhindered, since the Zeltrons in the room tended to shy away from them and their negativity.
"There are so many," Zera said worriedly. "How will we get away?"
"I won't let them touch you Zera," Shia said firmly, then smiled seductively, leaning closer to the other woman. "That's my job." She gave her a quick kiss and Zera smiled.
"Probably not the best time to be thinking about that, Shia," Zera smiled. "Thank you."
"What have you brought to my club now, Damian?" Shiala asked, stepping up beside him, hands on her hips, currently missing the elegant white dress she'd been wearing earlier, her orangish red hair messily over her left shoulder, just barely to short to cover her bare breast, not that anything else was covered.
"It was my fault," Zera said. "I'm sorry. The Inquisitors are here for me. These two agreed to smuggle me and Shia off world."
Shiala sighed heavily. "I see. I suppose it was only a matter of time. Travel safely, you two, with my blessing. Damian, please keep my daughters safe."
"We will," Damian nodded, then stopped, looking back at Shiala, who grinned knowingly, walking away. "Did she just say..."
"Yes, Shia and I are sisters," Zera said. "Now can we go before the Inquisitors find us?"
Damian shook his head, smirking, then turned back to the problem at hand. Just as he did, Shiala's face appeared on the gigantic screens around the club.
"Ladies, we have special guests here," Shiala said. "In accordance with rule three, please make our Imperial guests feel welcome, would you? I want them so smothered in your affection that they're blind to the world."
The effect was instant. The women around the room mobbed the stormtroopers, practically burying them with their bodies and stripping them of their weapons and armor in moments, beginning to use their bodies to distract them.
"Rule three?" Damian asked.
"Someone needs to be smuggled out, so provide a distraction," Shia said. "Mother sometimes gets visits from people that aren't as popular as normal customers."
Damian nodded. "The Inquisitors won't be kept busy for long, if at all. Come on."
He quickly made his way through the room, passing the mobs of Zeltrons distracting the Imperials, most of the Imperials having been force to drink, take drugs, and put under the effects of the illegal drugs Zeltron was famous for, like Essence of Zeltros, which made a Zeltron irresistible, and Elixir of Infatuation, which made the drug user infatuated with the first being they saw. Needless to say, none of the Imperials were paying Damian and the others any mind as they quickly wound and wove through the room, any Zeltrons who saw them nodding to Zera and Shia.
After a few more minutes, Damian stopped short as he sensed a pair of Inquisitors rapidly nearing the door they were heading to. He swore and looked around, grabbing Zera and Ahsoka's hands, since the three of them were the ones that needed to get out the most, running for a small door off to the side. He opened the door, shoving the two women into it, glancing back at the door just as Shia passed him into the small room as well. The door opened, a crimson lightsaber blade entering ahead of the Inquisitor and Damian ducked into the room, closing the door. However, as he did, he realized his mistake. The room was a private dance room, so with four people inside, it was cramped, and they were all pressed together.
"Now what?" Ahsoka asked.
"What's below us?" Damian asked.
"Uh...the basement, I think," Shia said. "It's for the more...adventurous couples, so we keep them downstairs."
"Zera, extend your lightsaber blade into the floor," Damian said, closing his eyes and sensing what was below us with the Force.
Zera did as instructed, her blue lightsaber blade stabbing noisily into the ground, and he took control of the weapon with the Force, moving it in a circle around them, dropping them into the basement. Zera grabbed her lightsaber hilt as they all scrambled to their feet, then looked around.
"There's a sewer access tunnel this way," Zera said. "As an emergency exit for anyone mother needed to smuggle out."
Damian nodded and they all followed Zera to the tunnel, heading into it quickly, Zera using her lightsaber's blade to weld the door shut behind them, then to light their way as the four of them ran into the sewer, finding it fortunately drained.
"The Landing pad should be this way," Zera said, running along the tunnel to the right, then taking the next right into a sloped passage.
Damian and the others followed, Damian just behind Zera, then Shia, and Ahsoka bringing up the rear. As they ran, the tunnel dropped quickly before finally levelling out on a walkway alongside grey water. Damian grimaced at the smell, but ignored it, following Zera as they wound and wove through the tunnels. He sensed the Inquisitors following them. He wasn't sure if it was only Zera who had been unfortunate enough to attract two Inquisitors, or if one of them was after Ahsoka and Damian, but he wasn't really concerned. If nothing else, he could borrow Zera's lightsaber and kill the two of them. As they rounded another corner, Zera suddenly swore, grabbing Damian and throwing herself into the wall beside an open doorway, Shia dragging Ahsoka into a side passage. Damian could sense why. The two Inquisitors were directly ahead. He checked back the way he had come but realized that it wasn't the first two, it was a different pair.
Four? Damian thought, glancing at Zera in confusion. Who are you?
He carefully leaned out enough to peek through the doorway and saw that in addition to the two Inquisitors, both of whom had Trandoshan builds and full suits of black armor hiding their species from view, there were also about a dozen Purge Troopers armed with electrostaves, electrobatons, and miniguns.
"We can't get through this way," Damian breathed, barely loud enough for Zera to hear.
Zera nodded, pointing back at the tunnel Shia and Ahsoka had disappeared into. Damian nodded as well and used the force to lift and throw a rock on the opposite side of the Inquisitors and Purge Troopers from them, making them all spin. Then, Zera and Damian darted into the tunnel, passing Shia and Ahsoka, who followed instantly. They passed through the tunnels quickly, once again winding around and around through the tunnels before reaching a spiraling staircase. Zera started up the stairs, taking them two at a time, and the others followed in kind. However, Damian grabbed Zera just shy of the exit, yanking her back and shoving her into Shia, who caught her, Ahsoka stopping them from falling with the Force just as Damian turned back to the front in time for his hands to stop a pair of lightsaber blades. He stepped up a step, shoving the blades away, then jumped blasting the two Inquisitors away from the trap door with the Force, only for them both to stagger about three steps.
Damian landed above the door with a foot on either side, then jumped into the air, drawing his blaster and shooting at one Inquisitor. These two were identical to the two Damian had seen inside, and when that one went to block it, the bolt punched through his lightsaber blade, then his face, dropping him. Damian landed beside him, taking the lightsaber and turning, blocking the other Inquisitor's blade with it before shoving it away and slashing the Inquisitor across the chest. It collapsed, but instead of a mutilated person of any species, what he found when he inspected the wound was that it was a droid. He tossed its lightsaber away, looking at the two fugitive sisters' smoking shuttle. It had been blown up, and when the other three joined Damian on the surface, the two both stared at the shuttle in dismay.
"Our shuttle," Shia breathed. "Now what do we do?"
"Don't worry," Damian said. "Ours has been waiting for my signal."
He borrowed Zera's lightsaber and waved the blade over his head a moment before handing it back. A moment later, the Wraith decloaked in the air above them, startling the sisters as it settled near-silently on the landing platform. The ramp opened and they all ran onto it just as the Purge Troopers and the other four Inquisitor droids, if Damian was guessing at what they were successfully, ran onto the landing platform. R3 lifted off, spinning the ship around as he closed the ramp and Damian sprinted into the ship, taking the controls and opening fire, mowing down the Purge Troopers first, then turning to the droids. They were fast, and were able to block the shots for several seconds before Ahsoka opened fire with the top turret, the doubled blaster bolts shredding the droids almost instantly. Once they were dead, Damian turned the Wraith, activating its cloaking tech as they flew away from the planet. There were several Star Destroyers in orbit around the planet, but the Wraith slipped passed them easily before Damian deactivated the cloaking tech.
"What are you doing!?" Zera asked. "They'll see us!"
"Which means that they'll leave Zeltros alone," Ahsoka said, sitting in the copilot's seat. "R3, are the coordinates in?"
R3 beeped out a confirmation.
"Ready on you," Ahsoka said, looking to Damian.
Damian waited several more seconds before nodding. "Jump."
Ahsoka pushed the Hyperdrive lever forward and the stars stretched into blurred lines before they jumped into the shining white and blue void of Hyperspace. Damian sighed, turning around in his chair.
"So, I'd like to officially welcome you two to the Wraith, the best starship in existence," Damian said.
"With that stealth tech, I have to agree," Shia said. "I've never heard of a ship that can do that."
"It's one of a kind," Damian said. "Most stealth tech just masks its electronic signature, but this one uses reflector panels to actually turn invisible."
"That's amazing," Zera said.
"So, now that we've got time, tell us your story," Damian said.
"Well, like I said, the Imperials found out I was Force Sensitive when an Inquisitor was doing a random search of the district we used to live in," Zera began. "Mom was at work in the club at the time, so it was just me and Shia. I was taken away by the Imperials, but on the way to the landing pad, a Nautolan Jedi who'd been hiding on Zeltros, Zatt, saved me from them. He couldn't beat the Inquisitor, though, so we ran. We hid on a small building that was mostly out of the way, and easily defensible, or so he said. Then the Inquisitor found us again and a bunch of those Stormtroopers with the black armor came in and...the Jedi never stood a chance. Once he died, the Inquisitor came in to get me, but I was so afraid that I accidentally brought the building down on us all with the Force. It killed the Stormtroopers, the Inquisitor, and it almost killed me. I was hurt badly. My leg was broken and I was trapped there for more than a day. But, before I could die, Shia found a way under the rubble to me and managed to lift the rock off of my leg. She warned me that there were more Imperials coming, and that we'd have to run, so I grabbed the Jedi's lightsaber and followed Shia out of the rubble the same way she got in. Once we were out, we went to Mother's club and were taken to her immediately. She had a doctor who frequented the club tend to my injuries, and the three of us began to live at the club. When Shia and I were old enough, we decided to work at the club."
"I see," Damian nodded. "And I assume you two started your relationship because of that?"
"Not really," Shia said. "You have to remember that sexuality and love aren't the same on Zeltros as anywhere else. Zeltrons don't see anything wrong with family members finding pleasure in each other. If that's what they enjoy, then that's what they enjoy. Not that we don't get our fair share of funny looks when we kiss, even from some Zeltrons. Incest itself might not be taboo, and may be more normal than other places, but to have a lasting relationship with a family member is still not exactly common. But while we were growing up, even before we started working at the club, we had experimented together, and after we started working together we often worked together to show our patrons a good time, but we didn't actually decide to be in a relationship until later. It was the one time besides you that Mother had a male in the club."
"He wanted me to keep him company, but I wasn't attracted to him," Zera said. "He was an angry man, and he smelled like alcohol and sweat. I tried to refuse, but he just forced me into one of the private rooms anyway and started to force himself on me. Shia sensed my fear before anyone else, we've always been able to sense each other more easily than others, and dragged him out of the room before shooting him with a shock blaster a few times. Then Mother had him thrown out. I was so distraught that I had to take a week off, and Shia stayed with me, comforting me however I needed her to, and by the end of it, we had decided to be in a relationship."
"But you still sleep with other people?" Ahsoka asked.
"Monogamy isn't as common a concept on Zeltros as it is anywhere else," Shia said. "We're a highly emotional and pleasure-driven society, so as a culture, we have no problem with being with multiple people. That's not to say that we're in love with multiple people. I'm in love with Zera, but as a Zeltron, I still enjoy finding pleasure with other people. Love doesn't have to be a part of it to enjoy sex. Sex feels good no matter whose body it is, as long as it's not painful or rape, and for some people even those can be pleasurable. So Zeltrons are willing to find pleasure wherever they choose. but even so, their bond-mate, if they have one, remains the only person they love."
"I see," Ahsoka nodded. "I think I understand. And you do that too? Have sex with other people?"
"Some," Zera said. "I'm more picky than Shia, and I've always got Shia to come to for my needs, so I don't go looking for other sources as often as Shia does. I do my job as one of the stage dancers, or...I suppose I did my job as one of the stage dancers, but I don't usually have sex with other people unless either Shia's there too, or if the person is attractive enough, both physically and in personality, to seduce me."
"I see," Ahsoka nodded. "And neither of you are worried about the other falling in love with someone they're with?"
"No," both said.
"We trust each other implicitly," Shia said.
"And when we're with each other, we can tell how much we love each other," Zera said. "So we never have to worry that we'll lose each other."
"Oh yeah," Ahsoka said. "I almost forgot that you can sense each other's feelings."
"So can you," Shia said. "And not just from the Force. All beings can feel each other's emotions, if they know how. Haven't you ever felt Damian's love for you just from being near him?"
Ahsoka looked to Damian and nodded, smiling slightly. "Yeah, I suppose I have."
"Or haven't you felt completely safe and untouchable when you're with him, just because he's there?" Zera asked.
"Always," Ahsoka smiled. "Even if I'm afraid."
"Or how about a more simple example," Shia said. "When you were kissing me, did it feel the same as when you kiss Damian?"
Ahsoka was quiet for a moment, thinking about that one before shaking her head. "It was different. It felt more...I don't know...empty, I guess. No offense."
Shia shook her head, smiling. "It's alright. What you were feeling was that our kiss wasn't based on love. You can feel Damian's love for you physically when you kiss him, but when you kissed me, that love wasn't there, so it was different. It's the same for Zeltrons. Even if we're having sex with someone, we only feel love if it's with each other. So we both know that we'll always come back, no matter who we're with." Shia turned to look at Zera, smiling as her lekku reached toward each other, wrapping around each other twice in the Twi'lek gesture for "I love you," Zera smiling and taking her hand.
Ahsoka nodded, smiling slightly and slipping her hand into Damian's. "I...guess you have a point."
Shia nodded, smiling. "Do you happen to keep spare clothes on this ship? We might not look out of place on Zeltros, but we probably shouldn't go wherever we're headed like this."
Ahsoka nodded and gave them directions to her room since both had about the same frame as Ahsoka. They thanked her and left and Ahsoka sighed, turning back to the front and leaning on Damian's shoulder, Damian wrapping an arm around her.
"I love you," Ahsoka said.
"I love you too," Damian smiled. "Are you okay?"
"I think so," Ahsoka said. "I'm still working my way through understanding their views, but I guess it makes sense."
Damian nodded. "Not that you'll ever have to worry about it. I'm all yours."
Ahsoka smiled, nodding before sighing. "I wasn't really mad that you were with another girl. I was jealous, but I wasn't mad about that. Seeing you with someone you'd just met, someone that you didn't know at all, it reminded me of the old days, when you would sleep with any girl you could, no matter how many hints I threw in your face that I was attracted to you."
"I'm sorry," Damian said. "I never meant to hurt you back then."
"I know," Ahsoka said. "I still want to find a way to make...this, the experimenting thing, work. I just need some time to think about it."
"Ahsoka, are you doing this for me, or for you?" Damian asked, making her look at him. "Tell me the truth."
"I..." she trailed off, then sighed. "I'm doing it for both of us. Like I said before. I know you would enjoy it, even though you don't need it, and I want to be able to enjoy it with you. Not for any real reason, I just want to."
Damian nodded, smiling. "Alright. Since I've already told you my opinion, it's your choice."
Ahsoka smiled and nodded. "I really do want this."
Damian kissed her and lifted her into his lap sideways, Ahsoka resting her head on his shoulder as they flew.
