Training

Damian spun around Zera's lightsaber, slashing at her with his own. She twisted, blocking the blade before shoving it up over her head and slashing back down at him. He twisted his arm, deflecting the blade before sweeping his lightsaber back around the other way, slapping the blade into the side of Zera's ribs. She yelped, flinching away before readying herself again. Damian had to admit, Zera had some skill. She had a lot of work to do, and she obviously didn't use the standard forms, but she had skill. He readied himself again, and again, Zera lunged, slashing at him rapidly, and he deflected the blows again and again, watching her form and using any and every opening to strike back, hitting her each time. Finally, she backed away, limping slightly and holding a particularly painful welt on her ribs.

"That's enough for now," Damian said, deactivating his lightsaber. "You're skilled."

"Thank you," Zera said. "Although, I'm obviously not good enough."

"No, you're not," Damian agreed, holding out a hand, light shining from it as he used the Force to heal her welts. "But you'll get there. Proxy."

Proxy walked over, stopping beside them. "Yes Master?"

"Did you compile a combat form of her?" Damian asked.

"I did, Master," Proxy nodded.

"Good," Damian nodded. "I want you to spar with her once a day using a random form. That way you won't be able to get used to the way any one person fights. Proxy, make sure to keep your lightsaber on training mode while you train with her."

"Of course, Master," Proxy nodded.

"So, you're not going to be training me anymore?" Zera asked.

"I'm going to be training you to use the Force, along with Ahsoka and Barriss," Damian said. "Proxy will be your primary lightsaber trainer. The three of us, he indicated himself, Ahsoka, and Barriss, who were both watching from off to the side, will evaluate your progress with your lightsaber from time to time, when we get the chance."

Zera nodded.

"Now," Damian said. "Meditate on the Force."

"I don't know how," Zera said.

"I'll show you what you're feeling for," Damian said.

Zera nodded, sitting down and crossing her legs, closing her eyes. Damian set a hand on her head and Zera gasped as he allowed the Force to flow through him into her, then sighed as he stopped. She nodded as he lifted his hand and began to meditate. Damian blinked, activating his Aura Sight for the first time in a while to check hers. It was thicker than he had expected, displaying her potential, but only a little of it was actually being used. He glanced at Ahsoka and Barriss and smiled, seeing theirs glowing as brightly as ever. He let his Aura Sight deactivate and turned to Shia. She wore a sleeveless white shirt with a low-cut V-neck and a pair of tight blue pants now, thought she still seemed to all but radiate sexuality, probably from her Zeltron heritage.

"Shia, allow me to introduce you to Jek and Shaeeah," Damian said, gesturing at the two, both of whom nodded. "They'll be your marksmanship instructors."

Shia nodded, smiling. As she followed them out of the room, Damian walked over to Barriss and Ahsoka.

"You think Shaeeah and Sapphire will have sex with Shia?" Barriss asked.

"Probably," Damian said. "And I'm sure you will too."

"Guilty," Barriss smirked. "So, think you can take the two of us now?"

"I doubt it," Damian smirked, extending his lightsaber blades and separating them, backing away from them as the two of them extended their blades. "After you."

Barriss grinned and darted forward, slashing at him rapidly, Damian actually caught off guard by her speed, though still able to fend her off. Finally, he trapped her arm under his own and spun, hurling her aside before Ahsoka reached him, forcing him backward rapidly, their blades clashing again and again in a blur. Ahsoka slashed low and Damian flipped over her, his blades blocking both of hers and also Barriss's as he flipped, then landed on the ground in time to block all three. He shoved upward, then kicked Ahsoka, throwing her backward before turning and sweeping Barriss's blade aside, swiping her across the back. However, as he was finishing his turn, Ahsoka's blades wrapped him on both wrists before crossing in front of his throat. He sighed.

"Well, you're as skilled as ever," Damian said.

"Thank you," Ahsoka smiled. "How's she doing?"

Damian checked Zera's aura, but it wasn't making much progress. "As expected after a couple of minutes. She doesn't have the years of training the two of you did when we started this. It'll take time."

Ahsoka nodded, tugging his hand. "Come on. Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Of course," Damian nodded.

He followed her out of the room as Barriss moved to meditate with Zera. Damian followed Ahsoka to their room and shut the door behind himself. Ahsoka sat on the bed, and Damian sat across from her, remaining silent. Ahsoka thought about what she wanted to say for a long while before sighing.

"I want to try again," Ahsoka finally said. "I want to be able to be confident enough in our love to be able to share you. And...I want to be able to include other people because I think it'll be fun, and because, despite how much I hated that part of you, I fell in love with you as much because you slept with everyone you could find as I did despite it. I saw that and...I was so jealous, all the time, because the only person you never tried for was me, and I wanted to be the only person you were with, instead of not being one at all. And I know that that personality is still a part of you, I see it sometimes when you see an attractive woman. You hide it, and you pretend it's not there, but I can see it. I want to be able to be with all of you, that part included, so I want to be able to include other girls without freaking out."

"Ahsoka-" he stopped as she raised a hand.

"I know I already have all of you, and I know that you don't want anyone else, because you've changed," Ahsoka said. "But...I want this. So, if you're not doing it for you, then do it for me, and just enjoy it as much as we both know you're going to. Please."

Damian sighed, then smiled and nodded. "Alright. What do you want to do?"

Ahsoka thought for a moment before speaking carefully. "On Zeltros...like I said, I wasn't mad because you were with someone else, I was mad because it was someone you'd just met, like the old days, and it...brought back the negative feelings of that. But, I think I might have an idea of how to get around it. I think...if it's someone that we know, someone that you have a history with, or who's at least been an important part of our lives for a long time...and as long as neither of us does anything without the other there...then maybe I could handle it."

Damian watched her carefully, trying to decide if she was actually talking about who he thought.

"There's...something I never told you about," Ahsoka said. "It's not a secret really, just something I never talk about. Back before I was banished, before Barriss betrayed the Republic, betrayed me, we were friends. You already knew that, but..."

"But you were in love with her," Damian said. "Or, you at least had feelings for her."

Ahsoka stared at him, eyes wide with surprise.

"It's why her betrayal hurt you so much, and why you were so against being around her, because every time you were, you were reminded of your feelings for her, and how badly she'd hurt you," Damian said.

Ahsoka nodded. "It's...also partly why I got so mad that you slept with her. I didn't want to lose you to the person who had hurt me. I didn't want to let her hurt me again by taking you away, even though she knew how I felt."

"She was never trying to take me away," Damian said. "She was trying to get me to try to win you over, because she knew that I had feelings for you too."

Ahsoka smiled. "And now we're together."

Damian nodded, smiling. "Are you sure this is what you want? Are you sure it's a good idea? Both because of your feelings about sharing me, and also because of your feelings for Barriss? Are you sure it's a good idea for you to dredge up those feelings again?"

Ahsoka sighed heavily. "Maybe not. But it is what I want. And I promise I won't fall for Barriss."

"I know," Damian said. "I'm not worried about losing you. I'm worried about you regretting this."

"I won't," Ahsoka said, taking his hands. "Please do this for me?"

"I will," Damian said. "Just let me know when."

Ahsoka nodded just as her personal datapad suddenly blinked and lit up. She frowned, picking it up and scanning it, her frown deepening. "Remember me telling you about the data mine I sent out to find out about Vader and the Inquisitors?"

"Yeah," Damian nodded.

"Something just came up," Ahsoka said. "Apparently the Inquisitors have a second job besides hunting Jedi."

"Does it say what?" Damian asked.

"No," Ahsoka said. "But I did find two sets of unlabeled coordinates. I have no idea what they're for, though."

"I see," Damian nodded. "We going to check them out?"

"You go to one set with Kanan and Ezra," Ahsoka said. "I'll take Barriss with me to the other. It'll give me time to discuss our...arrangement anyway."

Damian nodded, giving her a quick kiss. "Be careful."

Ahsoka nodded and both got up, grabbing what they'd need before heading back to the hangar, finding Barriss sulking and Zera meditating again.

"What'd we miss?" Damian asked.

"She turned me down," Barriss said.

"You're not my type," Zera said.

"Don't be mad, Barriss," Damian said. "You're going with Ahsoka on a mission anyway."

Barriss sighed and nodded, standing. "I'll go get my stuff."

"What about me?" Zera asked.

"You're going to stay here and keep training," Ahsoka said.

"But I want to help," Zera said.

"And you can, later," Damian said. "For now, stay here, with Shia. Next time something comes up, we'll see about bringing you along."

Zera sighed and nodded. "Alright. Good luck."

"Thank you," Damian said, he and Ahsoka heading onto the Wraith, Barriss returning a couple minutes later with R3 and Katie. Then, they were off.
