Day 1 in the arena! I hope you are all ready!

Kiera Vallejo, District 1 Female

Day 1

12:35 P.M.

Once everyone was mostly gone the careers alliance sat in silence. I myself was watching the chocolate waterfall gracefully falling into the chocolate water.

A few seconds later the cannons fired.

Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom.

I counted five canons in total. That meant me and eighteen tributes remained.

The whole alliance was still shaken up over Kratos' death. It made me realize something. Did he deserve to die? I always thought everyone in the games dies for a reason. His reason was he wasn't prepared.

Mal was sitting in the corner of the cornucopia, her face as pale as a ghost. All she could do was stared at Krato's body.

Kratos laid dead five feet away from where Mal was sitting. His shocked impression, his mouth hanging open. His face was covered in his blood and his once purple clothes stained with red started turning magenta. There was nothing much we could do, or at least I think. Maybe one of us could've stopped Marilla? Oh well it's too late now.

That boy from seven, Fabio, body laid five yards away from the cornucopia. There deep wholes were pierced into his neck. Blood was still gushing out from where Mathias stabbed the boy. I do feel bad for him, but what else could've I've done? We are in the Hunger Games for fucking sake.

"Mal how you feeling?" I walked up to her in a comforting voice.

"I- I don't even know. I'm numb to the whole experience. I know Kratos wasn't the most prepared tribute, but he was my friend. I just don't know how to process it." Mal sighed with a frown.

"Well if you ever need to talk I'm here." I warmly smiled at Mal.

"Thanks." She responded with a sigh.

It wss obvious that Krato's death even affected his killer, Marilla. She didn't even know what to say, or even start talking. She knew she fucked up by him.

"Marilla, I know you didn't mean to kill him…" I carefully walked up to her.

"I- don't even know if I meant it or not. It was a moment of mr not controlling myself. All I could've think to do was get rid of someone who wasn't gonna help. I regret killing him, but I just- I don't know. Let's just try to move pass it." Marilla looked at me. I knew she was trying her best to explain herself and I respect her for that.

"Did any of you managed to get anyone injured?" Mal spoke up a fee seconds later.

"I did, I managed ton pirece the girl from eleven in that back. Her allies helped her get away though. That's pretty much it though."

"That's a start. If we find them, we can finish them off." Marilla spoke.

"Let's check our supplies. Kiera would you mind checking?" Mathias looked over at me.

"Yeah, sure." I nod and walk towards the the back and look through our food and water supplies.

"We have enough food and water for at least three or four days about. It might be less depends on how much we use them." I turn back to tell them as I estimate in my head.

"That's good for now, we'll need to find a food and water source later on. Candy and chocolate water isnt gonna be enough to keep our hunger and thirst normal. I bet their is something around in the arena we could find." Marilla said as she stroked her hair.

"Alright, we can go find a water and food source first thing tomorrow morning. Let's settle into the cornucopia for the rest of the day." Marilla then says.

Lavinia Referent, District 5 Female

Day 1

3:33 P.M.

I have been has been running from the corncopia with my allies for what seemed to be years. Running through each room after another. We eventually found a nice place to stay, a room with giamt chocolate eggs and bunnies.

"What did you get from the cornucopia you guys?" I asked Jupiter and Danielle with a slight smile.

"I got an ax and a water canteen." Jupiter says as he rummages through his bag.

"I got an dagger and a water canteen as well." Danielle says as she rummages through her bag.

"Well I know for sure I got a small bag of throwing knives and a water bottle, so we each have enough water for at least one or two days. What about food?" I asked. I wasn't able to grab any food due to the time consuming bloodbath.

"Nope." Both Jupiter and Danielle replies.

"Great. We will need to find something later one For now we can snack on these chocolate eggs and bunnies until we find something better, alright?" I tell them.

"Alright, that sounds good to me." Jupiter says.

"Yeah-" Danielle responds.

"Great! For now let's set up camp. We can use some supplies around the room for our camp." I say as I look around the room at the several fabrics and hay we can use for beds and blankets.

"Alright that sounds like a good idea. Danielle says.

"I'll gather the fabrics and hay for blankets, Danielle you go gather those baskets for our food, and Jupiter you go and grab those lamps for light." I ordered nicely.

We all stepped away as I grabbed the fabrics off the shelves and used one of my throwing knives to cut three long pieces of fabric for blankets and some soft hay for us to lay on. After setting it down I took a look around me. Everything was looking good, camp was looking nice, and all lf us were still alive ad healthy.

That was a very good sign, especially this early in the games. I hope we can keep it that was for as long as we possiblt can.

After everyone did their job, our camp with really good looking; especially since we made it from mostly scratch. I sat down on my pile of hay as I looked up and see smoke coming through the vents.

Why was their smoke? What was it for? Where was it coming from? I don't know and I don't want to know.

Otis Lavash, District 9 Male

Day 1

7:45 P.M.

"How are you feeling Salem?" I sat next to her and comforted her while Bo kept watch.

"I'm in pain, but I think I could manage." Salem muttered out.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Yeah. Thank you for asking." Salem looked at me with a small smile.

"No need to thank me. We are allies we are suppose to make others good when they don't." I tell her.

"Attention visitors: the chocolate factory has closed. We would like to thank you for coming. Please use any of the exits, where you'll be given a complimentary chocolate bar for your visit. Thank you. We hope to see you again" The voice of an robotic woman echoed through the arena.

The anthem began to play as the names of today's fallen tributes were announced.

"Kratos Tatopoulos, District 2; and Fabio Daveen, District 7."

After everyone was announced the anthem ended and the arena went silent.

"Well that sure was a show." Bo jokingly laughs.

"Yea!" Salem giggled, but stopped shortly after due to her pain.

"It surely is an interesting fallen tribute announcement" I smiled slightly.

"Guys I suppose we should get to sleep, besides we don't want them to have to come back on to tell the tributes that we are dead." Bo laughs

"You two sleep, I'll guard. We'll change shifts everyone two hours. Otis you'll be after me. Salem just rest you need it." No say as she picked up her dagger and sat in a chair and waited.

"Alright. Good night you two." I say as I laid on the floor and shut my eyes.

"Night." Both Salem and Bo say before I fell asleep.

Maylis Alivia Poirier, District 7 Mentor

9:30 P.M.

For my first time mentoring, one of my tributes have made it pass the bloodbath. Lilith managed to do it, but in turn Fabio was lost. The moment Fabio was killed I had to excuse myself from the mentors viewing party to cry in the hallway.

I knows that Lilith is capable of winning, but she needs all the help she could get. I need to get sponsors for her, immediately.
