Chapter 1
Once people think of you a certain way.
You're never going to be able to change their minds.
The headline made multiple news reports. Every time you turned on the tv. You saw this on screen. For a small and close knit town like Tree Hill. The event was the first and last topic of gossip in town.
Ted and Victoria Davis found murdered in their upper class home. Their teenage daughter Brooke Davis only remaining survivor. The killer is still on the loose.
Brooke Davis had turned just graduated high school and had spent days packing for a celebration trip her parents had come to town to take part in.
She had been partying with friends on the beach when she arrived to the dark home and found her parents bodies in the entryway.
At 18 she was left with the entire Davis fortune. Her relationship with her parents had been disconnected her whole life. Their instinct to be parents to her was never really there.
After staying in for days awaiting for the news and attention to lessen.
Brooke found an escape in the one club in town no one knew her.
She danced. Drank. And spent the night with a guy she didn't even know the name of.
She wasn't proud of that and left his house as soon as she could.
Brooke fell asleep on the plane out of town thinking about his blue eyes and his smile.

There was no resting on her flight back to Tree Hill. She had spent more time away then she originally planned but it was needed for her to heal and rebuild.
Brooke Davis was a household name in her own right. Thanks to her fashion line.
But truthfully her the light of her lives were her sons.

"Momma we love this house.!" Barney stated matter of fact.
"We love our rooms even more!" Bailey added in.
Brooke smiled warmly at them.
They looked like their mom with straight brown hair. Dimples.
Barney had blue eyes. Bailey had hazel eyes.
"Welcome Home. The two of you finish unpacking then we can have dinner." Brooke proclaimed.
