The sun was setting as it casted an orange glow to the room through the window.
It was the first time that day that Huey and Dewey could be alone together, so it was nice finally getting a moment to themselves. He knew how Dewey was when it came to giving each other love, so the minute they closed that door, he was all over him. He ended up calming down, but it was endearing to see him get so happy and excited about being able to kiss him without interruptions.
Huey caressed his hand on Dewey's cheek, feeling each and every soft feather on his face. It made him smile and his heart skipped a beat. His soft feathers were always the best when he had recently showered or bathed. It didn't matter where Huey felt, his feathers would be soft wherever he touched. He wished he felt like that all the time. Huey wrapped his arms around him and rested his head on his chest. Dewey softly chuckled at the action.
"Getting comfortable, Hue?"
Huey smiled, not looking up. "Your feathers are so soft…"
"I take that as a 'yes'."
Dewey removed Huey's hat and kissed him on the head. He put his arms around him and held him close. He laid his head on his.
They stayed there as the night came forth.
