and another to the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which may be the true.

Weeks Later

Lucas kept to true to his about doing what he could to keep his family safe. The Scott/Davis home now had a security system installed.

They decided to keep this information from the boys. Simply because they didn't want to add un needed stress or worry to their life. But if needed later on for any reason they sit down and have an honest talk about it.

To put Lucas's mind at ease and probably her own as well. Brooke filed a restraining order against Xzavier Daniels. With this in place he wasn't allowed anywhere near her. Barney. or Bailey.

Lucas didn't want his name added. Because he knew if Xzavier attempted anything against him. He would handle himself just fine.

Brooke went on about her life. And focused on her family. And work.

Especially her friends. Who had become a needed retreat for her. Whenever they hung out.

"Order anything off the menu you want P Sawyer. Or should i call you P Scott." Brooke teased.

"Call me whatever you want. Me and this baby are so hungry." Peyton replied.

"I'm so excited to be aunt Brooke again. Hows Nathan dealing with impending fatherhood.?" She asked.

Peyton laughed. Putting her hand on her 7 month pregnant belly.

"He's adjusting to what that means." She replied.

Brooke decided to drop the subject. Remembering how Peyton recalled announcing the pregnancy to Nathan.

Let's just say he didn't take it well.

"So how much longer are you and Lucas going to play house.?"

"The two of you have been dancing around the obvious for almost a year. When are the two of you going to admit you have feelings for each other.?" Rachel asked.

It was spring time. The weather was all over the place. But one thing remained constant.

An invite for both Bailey and Barney. They had their combined friend group. And had become popular in their own right.

Which is why this upcoming spring dance was such a big deal. They weren't allowed to go last years dance.

But this year they couldn't miss it. Especially since it was the girls who asked the boys.

And they both knew who they wanted to attend this night with.
