Author's Note : I love Bailey and Barney as much as i love Brucas. Even through they are twins. They take on life especially relationships differently.

The Scott/Davis Home

"Momma! Dad! Where are you!" Barney exclaimed. As he raced through the front door.

"We have to talk to you right now.!" Bailey added in.

Lucas emerged from his home office which was close by.

While Brooke walked up from the basement. Where she had been dressing her mannequins. With her newest designs.

Bailey and Barney had walked home. Already cleared with their parents during breakfast this morning.

"Big news exciting! The spring dance is finally happening!"

"And we got invited to go! We cannot miss it."

"Everyone in our grade is going." Barney exclaimed in a rambled rush.

Brooke and Lucas looked to each other then back at their sons.

"Spring dance. Which means the girls ask the boys. I remember those days. I don't see any reason why you can't go. It'll be at the school. Over by 10. Starting at 7." Lucas replied.

"No one is going anywhere until i know who's going to be there and will be adults there the whole time. And who asked the two of you to go.?" Brooke questioned.

"Mom i just told you. All the kids in our grade that were invited are going." Barney replied.

"Qwen asked me. And Miranda asked Barney." Bailey replied.

Later on that night.

Lucas smiled up at Brooke. As she walked into his bedroom. To confirm that their boys were right about the dance tonight.

"They are going to have fun and tell us all about it. Don't worry." Lucas said. Wanting to reassure her.

"They will tell you everything. They aren't as open with me anymore. They are growing up way too fast. I care for this at all." Brooke admitted.

Lucas hugged her lightly.

"It's what happens at that age. You start pulling away and trying to figure out yourself and the world."

"I'll keep you company tonight. Distract you." He proclaimed.

"Do we look okay.?" Barney and Bailey asked. Relieved to find their parents in one place.

"Very handsome. Remember what i told you. Be nice. Respectful. And have fun." Lucas stated matter of fact.

"My little men." Brooke said. The emotion in her voice thick.

Once Lucas left to drive the boys to the dance.

Brooke took it upon herself to unwind.

Which for her swimming naked in the pool.
