"Will you?" She traced his jaw. "Even when you're spinning with me?"
"Especially then."
Hours Later
In the morning
The sun shined through the various windows of the hotel suite. Brooke awoke slowly. She stared around the room. Seeing the clothing items all over the floor. Remembering then along with the warmth of the body laying beside her.
What exactly happened the night before. She thought she was up first. She looked down at the thin cover the shielded her otherwise bare body.
But the aroma of hot morning beverages and the mouth watering aroma of breakfast food. Which was all nearby on one of the end tables displayed on a tray.
She knew then that Lucas had been awake.
"Luke. Are you up.? I'm wide awake. Keep me company."
Brooke announced. Gazing over to the other side of the bed.
Lucas smiled brightly at her. He caressed her face with his hand. Ran his fingers through her hair.
"What are you looking at.?" Brooke teased smiling shyly.
"Don't act all shy now. You are anything but that and i can't possibly get enough of you."
"I'm looking at the woman i'm in love with. Who i want to spend the rest of my life with."
"I finally have everything in life i could of asked for. And that is because of you. All i could ask of you now is simply giving me the chance to give you all the happiness. Love. And peace you deserve."
"It would be my honor to become you're husband. To be able to build and continue to live a life together."
"Brooke Penelope Davis. Will you marry me.?" Lucas questioned.
Brooke was speechless. She was so sure this was a dream.
But when Lucas turned from her and revealed a small box. That held an engagement ring.
She knew he was serious.
Brooke swallowed hard. Processing his words.
"Yes I'll marry you." Brooke replied.
Lucas slipped the ring on her finger.
