Hours Later

Once Bailey and Barney got out of school. They headed straight home. Wanting to skip their after school activities and spend time at home catching up with their parents.

"French fries and bagel bites are waiting in the kitchen. For you're afterschool snack." Brooke announced.

"But before that. We want to hear all about you're time at Aunt Peyton's. How did that go.?" Lucas asked. As they gathered togehter in the living room.

The boys sitting next to each other. In a chair across from their parents.

"We had fun for the most part." Barney replied.

"Aunt Peyton was sad. We heard her crying alot." Bailey admitted.

Brooke making a mental note to check in with her best friend as soon as she could. To find out what was going on.

"You're dad and I have big news. Wonderful news."

"During his business trip that i joined. He proposed to me."

"And i said yes. We're getting married. We are going to have a wedding." Brooke announced with a smile on her face.

"Yay!" Bailey and Barney cheered in unison.

"We've been a family for some time now. This will just make it official for the rest of the world. It's really a celebration of the love you're mom and I have for each other and the both of you." Lucas explained.

"We want to help with the wedding planning." Bailey replied.

Brooke smiled warmly at her her sons.

"We can handle most of it ourselves but we are very open to you're suggestions regarding food. Music. And anything you think we should do for the reception which is basically the party afterwards." Brooke replied.

Days Later

On her way to the store to start her shift for the day. Brooke was taken aback at the sight of a very pregnant Peyton seated on front steps.

She quickly parked the car and rushed over to her best friend.

Who was clearly visibly upset.

"Peyton. I'm here. What's going on.?" Brooke asked.

Peyton looked up at her. Tears streaming from her eyes.

"He left me." She admitted.
