The next few days and weeks were a blur to Brooke. She had found comfort and safety in simply returning to her normal life. The routine of her store. The boys. Lucas. And her friends.

She was now 12 weeks into her pregnancy. The baby was the size of a lime. According to her pregnancy tracker.

She was dealing with head aches. Fatigu. Heightened sense of smell. Which made outings anywhere near food a touch and go situation. Lucas had taken over the cooking. She could only handle bland cold food. Otherwise she felt sick to her stomach.

"We're in agreement that the baby budget does need to happen. We have the means and money to give this child everything that doesn't mean we should." Lucas insisted.

"We have plenty of time to figure that out. The doctor advised me to start a pregnancy work out. Which will help with weight gain and labor. Which is why. Me. Haley. Rachel. And Peyton. Are going to be working out together then rewarding ourselves with something delicious."

"I'm so happy Peyton's back." Brooke gushed.

"She moved back because of the pregnancy. She didn't want to miss any more of it. I'm happy for you." Lucas replied.

"Since this is my last pregnancy. I thought having a pregnancy journal. This time around. Keeping track of changes and my feelings. A keepsake i could share with this little one someday."

"Too Hallmark right.?" Brooke asked.

"Not at all. It's beautiful." Lucas replied.

"My flat stomach is no more." Brooke announced. Examing her stomach. Which had now formed into a baby bump. She was showing.

"You've never looked more stunning." Lucas stated matter fact. In awe of the way her body transformed during pregnancy.

"I'm not ready for maternity wear yet. I would much rather wear you're shirts. Comfy and the scent of the man i love. Nothing better."

"Just you wait until i can't see my feet and am a hormonal roller coaster. Mid night cravings. You ready for that Luke.?" Brooke asked.

"Ready and waiting. This time around. We're married. In love. Settled. I'll see you tonight at dinner." Lucas replied. Kissing her softly.

"You enjoy you're day Mr. Scott. Me and Munchkin will be looking forward to all of us being together." Brooke stated matter of fact.

Lucas leaned down and kissed her belly before watching her leave the room.
