Private Room: Pentagon
The match between Ben and Monster Girl ended like the previous matches, with Ben winning. However, unlike the other matches Monster Girl was able to give Ben a real run for his money, making him use a fusion transformation to beat her monster form. Right now, another arena was being set up for the remaining matches due to Ben and Monster Girl destroying the second one. Ben felt that if these next matches were like his match with Monster Girl, the Pentagon would run out of arenas soon.
Until then, Ben was waiting once again in the private room that was assigned to him. As he sat there waiting for Robot to announce the next match, he could hear the young heroes talking about him. Using his superior hearing and other senses, Ben could hear everything they were saying from across the underground facility.
"That guy is nuts, did you see what he did to Monster Girl?"
"That guy really is a monster, who knows what else he can transform into"
"I sure don't want to be the one to face him next"
"He's skilled but remember, the whole point of these matches is to see how well we can adapt to different situations"
"Easy for you to say, you didn't take a supernova to the face"
"This guy's powers each represents a situation that we'll need to deal with if we want to be Guardians of the Globe"
Ben was able to recognize the last voice as it was older then the other voices
"I almost forgot that you were trying out as well" Ben said to himself with a chuckle
There was a sudden knock at the door that pulled Ben from his thoughts
"What do you want?" Ben asked
The door opened and Robot entered the room
"What do you want Tin Man?" Ben asked Robot
"I've come to ask a favor of you or well the Pentagon has asked me to ask you this favor" Robot answers
"And what would that favor be?" Ben asked Robot
"Your last few matches have caused major damage to the arenas and the Pentagon would like it if you could be less destructive with these last few matches" Robot answers, explaining what the Pentagon wanted from Ben
"Is that really it?" Ben asked confused
"They only have one arena left and if that one gets destroyed the tryouts will have to be cut short and will be continued on a later date" Robot explains to Ben
"I see, wouldn't want that but I would like to piss the old man off" Ben said to himself
"Please wait until after the tryouts to continue to anger the director of the Global Defense Agency?" Robot asks Ben
"I'll think about it" Ben responds with a shrug
"I am somewhat pleased to hear that, as a personal ask, I would appreciate it if you didn't continue to brutalize the candidates" Robot tells Ben
"I don't think brutalize is the word I'd use but don't worry, I'm only using levels 1 through 6" Ben tells Robot
"Still, please don't kill any of them or hurt them to the point where they can no longer be heroes?" Robot asks Ben
"I only kill villains" Ben tells Robot
"I understand, by the way, the next rounds will be starting soon in arena 3" Robot tells Ben
"Tin Man, has Omni Man's kid changed his mind about participating in the tryouts?" Ben asks Robot before he leaves the room
"Unfortunately, Invincible still is adamant on not trying out to be a member of the Guardians of the Globe" Robot answers
Hearing that Invincible still didn't want to try out really angered Ben a bit. Monster Girl was somewhat of a challenge for him but Ben really wanted to fight Invincible.
"Did he tell you why he's not interested?" Ben asks Robot in a serious tone
"Invincible stated that his father, Omni Man is going to be the one to train him" Robot answers
"I see" Ben says, clenching his fist
"Is something the matter? Do you wish to wait longer for the matches to resume?" Robot asks Ben
"Don't worry about me Tin Man, let the rookies know the matches are going to resume as scheduled" Ben tells Robot, standing up
"Understood, I will go and inform them now" Robot tells Ben before he leaves the room, the door closing behind him
Angered, Ben punches the metal wall of the room, leaving a massive dent in it
"If I have to go through the kid to get to you, I'll do it, nothing is going to stop me from fulfilling my purpose" Ben says to himself in a serious tone as he clenched his fist
"The next and final matches between the Guardians of the Globe candidates and Ben will resume shortly" Robot announced over the intercom
Changing his focus to the matches ahead of him, Ben took a deep breath in and out before looking down at the omnitrix core in his robotic hand
"I wonder who we're gonna have to go up against next" Ben wonders to himself
At that moment, the intercom came on and Robot announced who Ben would be facing next
"The next match will be The Hunk and Ben, the match will be taking place in arena 3 in 10 minutes" Robot announced over the intercom
"Doesn't sound like much, looks like I'm gonna have to go real easy on this one" Ben says to himself as he pops his knuckles
Before Ben left the room and headed to arena 3, he received a message. Touching the omnitrix core, Ben saw that Cecil had left him a message, labeled "Important".
"This better be important old man, I've got a match to get to and I don't want to be here all day" Ben said to himself annoyed as he opened up Cecil's message
Ben opened the message Cecil had sent him and quickly read it
"Interesting" Ben says

Arena 3: Pentagon
The next few matches for Ben were uneventful and not interesting to him. He took care of all his opponents rather quickly and without breaking much of a sweat. Ben took care of the muscular hero known as The Hunk by paralyzing him with razor sharp quills that were filled with a paralyzing neurotoxin. The next opponent Ben faced was a large ape-like hero who was basically a giant gorilla. Ben defeated the primate hero by freezing him in a block of ice. The last opponent Ben faced was a superheroine called Throwbolt. He defeated her by draining all of the electrical energy in her body and firing it back at her.
Once all of that was said and done, Ben's next opponent was Black Samson. Out of all of the candidates to tryout for the Guardians of the Globe, Black Samson was the oldest and the only who had previously been a Guardian of the Globe.
"So, it looks like you're next" Ben says to Samson as the two faced off against each other
"It appears that way" Samson responds
"Just so you know old man, you can walk away now and you'll still be considered a candidate for the Guardians of the Globe" Ben tells Samson
"Why would I walk away?" Samson asks Ben
"Because you are an older version of Darkwing and I don't feel like beating up a powerless old man" Ben answered
"Just because I'm older and I don't have powers anymore doesn't mean you should underestimate me" Samson tells Ben
"If there is one other thing you should know about me, it's that I don't underestimate my opponents, I also don't overestimate them either" Ben tells Samson
"So, your scoping me out then?" Samson asks Ben, sounding curious
"You could say that" Ben answered
"The match between Black Samson and Ben will now begin" Robot announced over the intercom
Right away, Black Samson rocketed towards Ben using his jetpack. He went to punch Ben but ended up going through him as Ben went intangible. Seeing that his attack did nothing to Ben, Black Samson continued to throw punch after punch at Ben.
"So much for not underestimating me" Samson said as he tried to roundhouse kick Ben only for it to pass through his intangible body
"Like you said old man, I'm scoping you out" Ben says as Black Samson continues to try and hit him
As Black Samson continued to try to hit Ben to no avail, Ben eventually blew out a gust of cold air that froze Black Samson's feet to the ground
"I can continue if you want me to old man, you just have to give me the go ahead" Ben tells Samson as he tries to break the ice encasing his feet with a single punch
"Go all out then, show me what you can do" Samson tells Ben as he shatters the ice encasing his feet
"Fine then" Ben says
As the omnitrix core turns green, Ben's skin turns green as he transforms into a tall frog-like humanoid alien

"A frog, you really transformed into a frog man to fight me?" Samson asks Ben, not impressed with what Ben had transformed into
"Look, this one is one of the many other transformations I got that wouldn't be able to kill ya super quickly and real easy, ifs I really tried to dos that in da firs place" Ben tells Samson
"Whatever then, bring it on" Samson tells Ben
The two go at it once more with Black Samson rocketing towards Ben with him jumping over Samson and using his long frog-like tongue to hit Samson's jetpack and rip it off of his back and throw it away
"Let's keep this fight on da ground" Ben tells Samson
"Fine by me" Samson says before he runs at Ben and punches him in the face
Ben rears back from Samson's punch before dodging another one and kicking Samson in the gut. Ben then pulls Black Samson forwards by hitting him with his sticky frog-like tongue.
"Outta all da historical strongest men in history to put da word black in front of, yous choose Samson, the guy with all da long hair when you got nothin, why him when yous could picked that John Henry fella ors someone else?" Ben asks Samson before he double kicks him away
"I chose Samsons because he embodies who I am" Samson answered as he charged once more at Ben
"Both of yous lost your power and still fought, I think I get it now" Ben said
As Samson was about to attack Ben once more, Ben quickly blocked the attack before jumping into the air and grabbing Samson with his tongue. Ben then slammed Black Samson down into the ground from all the way in the air, finally defeating him. When the dust settled and Ben landed, all of the young heroes watching saw that Ben had defeated Black Samson.
"Yous did good old man, glad you didn't pull outta the fight" Ben tells Samson as he helps the old hero up
"If I get selected, you and I better have a weekly sparing session" Samson tells Ben
"If da old man holding my leash allows it" Ben tells Samson
"The winner of this match is Ben" Robot announces over the intercom
As Black Samson leaves the arena, Ben transforms back into his human form and let's out a good long sigh. What Ben didn't tell Samson was that he admired a man who despite not having powers was still willing to fight for what was right.
"Don't think I'll be telling him that any time soon" Ben says to himself
"The next few matches will be beginning shortly" Robot announces over the intercom
Ben then stretches out a bit and let's out a yawn as he continues to stretch
"I wonder who I'm going to be facing next" Ben wonders to himself as he leaves the arena

Private Room: Pentagon
After a few more boring matches which were next after his previously somewhat enjoyable match with Black Samson, Ben was sitting in the private room assigned to him, waiting for Robot to announce the next match. As Ben was sitting in the room, he went back over the message the Cecil had sent him. He was wondering what Cecil had meant by that and what he was wanting Ben to do. Ben knew Cecil extremely well, even if Ben was kept in an isolated cell he learned all he needed to know about Cecil from his few interactions with him.
"I wonder what that old man is really planning" Ben wonders to himself
The door to the private room opens up and in walks Robot
"What do you want Tin Man? Come here to announce the next match?" Ben asks Robot annoyed
"Yes and no" Robot answers
"Care to elaborate Tin Man?" Ben asks Robot
"While I have come here to inform you of the next match, I am also here to get your opinion on the candidates you've faced so far and to see which ones you believe should become the next Guardians of the Globe" Robot answers
"Why do you care what I think?" Ben asks Robot
"You have faced each of these candidates and have gotten to see them use their powers as well as see how they adapt to your own powers" Robot answers
"That is true, I guess" Ben says with a shrug
"Cecil has also informed me of the role you will be playing when the new Guardians of the Globe team has been announced" Robot adds
"Did he know? What did the old man tell you exactly?" Ben asks Robot, wanting to know more
"You will be training the new Guardians, helping them get stronger and preparing them for the situations that they will be facing in the future, Cecil has also stated to me that you will also be collecting data from each fight the heroes will participate in…" Robot answered before Ben stopped him halfway towards the end of his answer
"I get it, the old man told you enough" Ben says as he stops Robot
"Cecil also stated to me that I will be the one leading the team, it will be up to the both of us to decide who will get to be new members in the future" Robot says
"I get it Tin Man, I get it" Ben said annoyed
"So then, shall we get started with your thoughts on the candidates?" Robot asks Ben
Robot then lays out all of the file of the candidates that Ben has had a match with so far. Ben then quickly points at a few of them before telling Robot his thoughts
"These ones show no real promise so toss them" Ben tells Robot
Ben then points at a few more files before telling his thoughts on them
"These ones are okay, I guess but they still lack certain Guardians of the Globe qualities" Ben tells Robot
Robot then removes all of the files that Ben has pointed at so far before Robot points at a few files
"What do you think of these ones?" Robot asks Ben
"These ones show promise, I don't know about that one, he's kind of a dick but I guess he and the others could work" Ben answered with a shrug
"Isn't it ironic for you to be calling someone a dick?" Robot asked Ben
"Shut it Tin Man, I don't want to hear it" Ben tells Robot, getting annoyed
"Moving on, what about these ones?" Robot asks Ben, pointing at the last few files
Ben looks at the files closely, he doesn't give Robot an answer right away, he thinks a bit before saying something
"They are a bit rough around the edges, those ones you can toss but the other ones, while they do need a bit of work, I'll be happy to put some hours into them, if it looks good to my parole officer" Ben answers
"Thank you for your participation, I will inform Cecil of your feedback on these candidates" Robot tells Ben as he takes the last files off of the table
"Before you go Tin Man, care to tell me who I am going to be facing off against next?" Ben asks Robot
"The next and final candidate that you will be facing off against is the heroine Atom Eve" Robot answers as he places a file down in front of Ben
Ben picks up the file and looks at
"Ah, I see, the girl with the energy powers, this should be interesting" Ben says to himself as he hands Robot back the file
"Once the match between you two is over, we will begin the selection process for new members of the Guardians of the Globe" Robot tells Ben
"You want me to choose as well?" Ben asks Robot
"You are already an unofficial member of the team, so your choice on who your teammates will be is already a given" Robot explains to Ben
"If I had an actual choice, I wouldn't select a new Guardians of the Globe " Ben says bluntly
"I understand your feeling towards the Guardians of the Globe but please don't let them clout your judgement" Robot says to Ben
"You can lecture me on feelings, especially my own when the wizard decides to give you a heart" Ben tells Robot
"I'll leave you be" Robot says before leaving the room
Ben clenches his fists in anger before returning his focus to his next match
"Who am I going to use this match? Conductors would be good but is a bit overkill, I could go with Prypiatosian-B but that is way overkill, you know what, I think I've got it, I know who I'm going to use" Ben says to himself as he decides on which transformation to use in his match with Atom Eve

Arena 3: Pentagon
Standing in the arena, Ben was facing off against his last match of the day. It was a young heroine with unique energy manipulation powers, Atom Eve. Ben had read up on her file the day before so he had an understanding of what her and her powers were like. In Ben's on thoughts, he compared her to the alien species known as Anodites, energy beings with extreme powers.
Before the match even began, Ben could already tell that Atom Eve was mad. About what, he didn't know, it did mean that there was less he had to do to throw her off of her game. However, Ben was still going to push a bit to see what the young heroine was capable of.
"Boyfriend issues?" Ben asks Atom Eve
"What?" Atom Eve asks confused
"I asked if you were having boyfriend issues or is it…girlfriend issues, I mean I'm don't care if it's either or, I'm not one to judge" Ben answered, trying to get on Atom Eve's nerves
"Look, just like you told us, there's only one thing you need to know about me and it's that I am here to fight you" Atom Eve tells Ben in a serious tone
"Nice, using my own words against me but I can clearly tell you are having boyfriend issues" Ben says, throwing out one last jab at Atom Eve, making her even more angry
"Good" Ben thought to himself
"The final match between Atom Eve and Ben will now begin" Robot announced over the intercom, beginning the match
In that exact moment, Atom Eve charged forwards at Ben through the air and hit him. With a single punch, Atom Eve caused Ben to shatter in a bunch of pale green crystal pieces.
"Nice punch, thought you got me that easily? Sorry kid" Ben said as he reformed himself from a large pale green crystal that grew out of the floor
Atom Eve didn't respond or say anything, she just charged forwards at Ben once more. Unlike last time, Ben didn't let Atom Eve get close to him, he instead formed crystal walls to stop Atom Eve. Atom Eve punched through each of them with ease.
"That's it, use your anger, try and strike me down with it" Ben tells Atom Eve with a chuckle
"Shut up" Eve says as she starts throwing energy disks at Ben
Ben runs around the arena and avoids all of the energy disks that Atom Eve is throwing at him. While he is doing that, Ben begins to fire pale green crystal shards from his hands at Atom Eve. Before the crystal shards could hit her, Atom Eve formed a barrier made of energy around her which stopped the crystal shards.
"Smart, but can you attack and defend at the same time?" Ben asked Atom Eve before he began to charge at her
Ben formed a long pale green crystal blade from his arm as he charged at Atom Eve who was still protected by her energy barrier. Before Ben could attack and destroy the barrier, Atom Eve caused the barrier to move towards Ben and actually wrap around him, keeping him from moving or attacking
"Looks like you aren't going anywhere" Atom Eve tells the now trapped Ben
"Smart, I'll give you points for this but you forgot one thing" Ben tells Atom Eve
"And what would that be?" Atom Eve asks Ben as she makes the energy barrier slowly start to crush Ben
"Energy is energy and energy users are one of my favorite people to mess with" Ben answers as his eyes turn green
In that moment, Ben began to transform into something, his skin became a purple rock-like substance, magenta crystals started to grow out of his body. Ben transformed into a tall humanoid creature who had one eye, magenta crystals growing out of parts of its body along with a crystal growing out of its head like a horn.

"What the?" Atom Eve asked confused
"Sorry, but this energy barrier is going to have to go" Ben tells Atom Eve before he absorbed the energy barrier wrapped around him
Now free from the energy barrier, Ben approached Atom Eve who returned to throwing energy disks and shooting energy blasts at him. Ben simply took everything thrown at him and absorbed it like it was nothing. Atom Eve kept throwing everything she had at Ben but nothing seemed to work against him.
"Sorry kid, looks like it's over for you" Ben tells Atom Eve
"Nothing is over" Atom Eve replied
Atom Eve then charged forwards and began to punch Ben repeatedly in the body, pushing him backwards slowly. While Atom Eve's punches didn't really do anything to Ben's indestructible silicon-based carbon body, Ben was starting to feel her punches. Atom Eve grabbed Ben and started throwing him around the arena while also keeping up with her other attacks.
"I think you've blown off just about enough steam" Ben tells Atom Eve
As Atom Eve goes to attack Ben once more, the crystal horn on Ben's head starts to glow before it fires off a beam made of ultraviolet energy at Atom Eve. The beam hits Atom Eve and sends her flying backwards, as she tries to get up and continue to fight, Ben fired two more ultraviolet energy beams from his hands at her. Both of the ultraviolet energy beams hit Atom Eve in the chest and knock her down and take her out of the fight.
"The winner of the final match is Ben" Robot announces over the intercom
Ben transforms back into his human form and goes over to Atom Eve and helps her up
"You did good kid but next time, keep your emotions and problems out of a fight" Ben tells Atom Eve as he helps her up
"Whatever" Atom Eve says as she brushes Ben off and leaves
With all of the matches over, the selection process could begin
Time Skip
Observation Area: Pentagon
Now that all of the matches were over, the selection process of who was going to become members of the New Guardians of the Globe could begin. With the thoughts given by Ben and what had been shown in his matches with each of the candidates, selecting the members of the new Guardians of the Globe was easy and didn't take long. Once all of the selections had been made, Robot made all of the candidates gather in the observation area where he would announce who the new members were.
"With all of the matches over, we would like to thank each and every one of you for coming out today and trying your hardest" Robot tells all of the candidates
Ben is standing off to the side watching Robot as he gives his speech to all of the candidates before announcing who was selected
"We know that these matches weren't something you were expecting to happen and we know you all must think you've failed in some way but in truth we saw what you were capable of and believe the effort you showed in your matches is what makes you all heroes" Robot tells the candidates, boosting their confidence
Ben could see the looks on all of the candidates faces when Robot brought up their defeat in their matches with him
"Just know that you all did your best and we saw it, I will announce the new members of the Guardians of the Globe" Robot told the candidates
This was the moment that Ben was waiting for, he was going to see who he'd be stuck training until Cecil moved him to something else
"the new members are, Black Samson, Shrinking Rae, Dupli-Kate, Monster Girl" Robot said as he began to announce the new members of the Guardians of the Globe
It was Rex laughing at the announcement of Monster Girl making the team that stopped Robot from continuing to announce the new members
"What's so funny?" Robot asked Rex
"Nothing, I just thought there was a height requirement to become a Guardian of the Globe" Rex answered, still laughing at Monster Girl
"Wow, are you sure there isn't a dick size requirement either?" Monster Girl asked Rex causing gasps and oohs to come from the other candidates watching
"Okay short stack, my dick is perfectly big sorry that a munchkin from munchkin land wouldn't know what one looks like" Rex tells Monster Girl getting angry
Ben knew at that exact moment that Rex had messed up big time
"I'm gonna kick your tiny ass all over this place" Rex tells Monster Girl as his fist glows with energy
At that exact moment before Rex could hit Monster Girl, Monster Girl's arm became massive and green and punched Rex through the protective glass, sending him flying down into the arena below. Ben, Robot and all of the candidates moved in to see what was going on down in the arena. Ben and the others saw Rex get caught off guard when Monster Girl transformed into her giant monster form to fight Rex.
"He's fucked" Ben said with a shrug
Right away Monster Girl began to beat up and toss Rex around as all of his attacks did nothing to her monster body
"Someone needs to do something before she kills him" Invincible said, speaking up
"Go ahead and do something" Ben tells Invincible
Seeing Rex bloody and beaten, Invincible went down there to stop the fighting only to get mixed up in it
"Can you do something to stop this?" Robot asks Ben
"Not really my problem, if they kill each other it's less that I have to deal with" Ben answered, not caring what happened
After seeing Monster Girl turn her attention towards Invincible and both of them start fighting did Ben finally decide to step in
"I'm gonna regret this" Ben said to himself as he jumped down into the arena
Arena 3: Pentagon
As Ben landed in the arena, Invincible had managed to get Monster Girl off of Rex and after a few hits ended up hitting Monster Girl as she transformed back into her human form
"ENOUGH!!!" Ben yelled as he used gravity powers to stop everyone from moving as well as Monster Girl from hitting the arena wall
From the observation area, Ben could hear people talking about Invincible hitting a little girl and seeing Invincible get nervous and defensive about the accusations
"I…I…I didn't mean to, she…she" Invincible said stuttering as he tried to defend himself
"Shut up, no one cares" Ben tells Invincible
Ben stops using his gravity powers and frees the young heroes, allowing them to move
"You all want to be heroes then stop acting like stupid children" Ben tells all of them sounding angry
"I'm sorry for hitting you" Invincible tells Monster Girl, apologizing to her
"No, it's my fault, I always get angry when people call me little" Monster Girl replies
"That's apparent" Ben says
"I'm sorry about the dick joke" Monster Girl says to Rex, apologizing to him
"Yeah, I am also sorry for not taking you seriously" Rex tells Monster Girl, apologizing to her
Robot and a few of the others come in and help Rex up, Atom Eve ignores Rex and leaves the room
"Once Rex has recovered he will also be a member of the Guardians of the Globe" Robot tells everyone
"Good to know" Ben says sarcastically
Ben could see all of the tension between Atom Eve and Rex, he instantly knew what was going on
"Atom Eve will also be joining the team as well" Robot announces
"Sorry but I can't be on a team with Rex and Kate" Atom Eve tells Robot before leaving the room
Invincible chases after Atom Eve trying to stop her
"My work here is done Tin Man, I'm heading home" Ben tells Robot before he starts to leave
"I understand, I can take care of everything else" Robot says
Time Skip
Ben's House: Suburbs
It was late and Ben was back at his house in the kitchen, making himself something to eat. As usual bus two guards, Mike and Ike were outside monitoring him, making sure that he wouldn't try to escape again and run off. As Ben was making his dinner, the lights began to flicker on and off and the air began to get cold.
"What do you want demon?" Ben asked as the lights went completely out
"You are good at observations Project X" a voice says to Ben
"Don't call me that" Ben says annoyed as he turns around
Standing in the kitchen was what appeared to be a red skinned demon man wearing a trench coat and fedora. This demon wasn't an ordinary demon it was the demon detective Damien Darkblood.
"Would you prefer I call you Benjamin or Azmuth's Final Hope?" Darkblood asks Ben
"How do you know about that?" Ben asks Darkblood in a serious tone
"I have my sources" Darkblood answers
"I'm going to ask you again demon, why are you here?" Ben asks Darkblood in a serious tone
"I am sure you are aware but the members of the Guardians of the Globe were slaughtered and only the Guardian, Omni Man survived" Darkblood tells Ben
"I'm well aware of those tools biting the dust but what does that have to do with you?" Ben asks Darkblood
"You posses superior intelligence so I am positive you know that there are somethings in this world that are impossible?" Darkblood asks Ben
"Anything is possible, hell, my whole purpose was to kill the Guardians of the Globe" Ben says
"True and that is what made you a suspect for their murder before I discovered Cecil Stedman still had you on ice" Darkblood comments
"Since I'm not a suspect anymore, do you have any leads on who could have killed them?" Ben asks Darkblood
"I have my suspects but one keeps sticking out to me the more I uncover what happened to the Guardians and all of the mysterious circumstances related to their deaths" Darkblood
Ben gets an idea of who could be the one responsible for the deaths of the Guardians of the Globe members
"You have a suspect of your own?" Darkblood asks Ben
"I do" Ben answers
"Let me guess, Nolan Grayson, Omni Man?" Darkblood asks Ben, figuring out who Ben was thinking who the main culprit was
Ben doesn't answer or say anything which tells Darkblood all that he needs to know however, Ben knew far more then that and Darkblood could see that
"You know something else, care to tell me?" Darkblood asks Ben
"I know a lot, you are going to have to be more specific" Ben says to Darkblood with a shrug
"What do you know about Omni Man?" Darkblood asks Ben
"I don't think the old man would want me telling you anything, especially since I'm sure he most likely told you to stay out of it" Ben tells Darkblood
"Humor me" Darkblood says
"If anyone where to be the culprit it would be Omni Man, I know a lot about Viltrumites and what they are capable of however, I know that not everyone is as what they seem" Ben tells Darkblood
"Are you suggesting I not accuse Omni Man of the murders?" Darkblood asks Ben, sounding curious
"No, I'm suggesting you gather more evidence before making assumptions" Ben tells Darkblood
"What will you do if Omni is found guilty?" Darkblood asks Ben
"Doing what I've already planned on doing for some time now" Ben answers
"Care to explain?" Darkblood asks Ben
"No, I don't think I will" Ben answers calmly
"I appreciate this chat we had, if there is more you'd wish to share with me, I'll come by" Darkblood tells Ben as he tips his hat to him
"I suggest you leave now before Mike and Ike come bursting through my door thinking I've run away again" Ben tells Darkblood
"Understood" Darkblood says as he vanishes
Once Darkblood was gone, the lights turned back on and the air returned to normal. Just as Ben predicted, Mike and Ike burst through Ben's door with their guns out, looking around to see where Ben had gone off to.
"Hey fellas, care to stay for dinner? I'm making pasta" Ben says, getting the attention of the two agents
"The power went off and the cameras lost feed" the agent Ben calls Mike said
"False alarm" the agent Ben calls Ike said over his radio
"Sorry if I spooked you guys" Ben says apologizing to the two agents
Seeing that Ben was still in the house, the two agents fixed Ben's door and left, leaving him alone
"I can't wait until I kill that old man" Ben says to himself with a sigh
Small Time Skip
Early in the morning, Ben woke up and headed downstairs and saw that Cecil was standing in his kitchen with someone else
"What can I do you for old man?" Ben asks Cecil as he walks into the kitchen
"Nothing much, you can explain to me why I almost had to burst in here again last night" Cecil answers
"I don't know what happened, the power went off and Mike and Ike came busting in to see if I left" Ben explains to Cecil
"I'm glad you didn't leave again" Cecil says
"Don't mention it" Ben replies
"Moving on, there are some things that we are going to have to discuss" Cecil tells Ben
"Like what?" Ben asks Cecil
"Who's going to be watching over you from now on as well as other things" Cecil answers
"Really? You are going to give me a new babysitter?" Ben asks Cecil sarcastically
"Yes and here she is" Cecil answers
The person next to Cecil steps forwards and reveals herself to Ben surprising him
"This is agent Rook and she's been tasked to look after you" Cecil says as he introduces the person to Ben
A/N: Hello there readers, here is the third chapter of my story, Unbreakable and I hope you all enjoyed it and are ready for more. The tryouts are over and the new members of the Guardians of the Globe have been selected. You got to see Ben fight a bit more and got to learn a bit more about who Ben is. You'll get to see plenty more as the story continues and see how Ben will interact with his new babysitter, agent Rook. In this chapter you got to see Ben use both his Incursion transformation, Bullfrag and his Crystalsapien transformation, Chromastone.
You'll get to see Ben use more alien transformations as well as more powers, fusion transformations and eventually ultimate forms as the story continues. In the next chapter, you'll get to see Ben train the new Guardians of the Globe and also see him team up with Invincible on Mars.
