Appearance

Black hair, as dark as night, barely dusting her slender collarbone. Sea-green eyes that glint with mischief and knowledge. Perfectly pale skin that had rarely ever been touched by the sun. She's absolutely stunning. Beautiful in a way only a goddess could be...at least, the right half of her body is. The left is marred by rot and decay. Darkest flesh and milky eye. An unbeating heart locked within her chest. She uses magic to hide the darker half of her. It's said that despite the decay she smells strongly of wet dirt and smoke from a burnt pine.

Queen of Helheim was originally a title that Odin presented his granddaughter out of respect. It wasn't until a rumor came that she'd aid in Ragnarok that he sealed her within Helheim. Preventing any escape for over two thousand years until Loki found a spell strong enough to break the magic barrier keeping her in.

Hel is neither good nor evil.

My portrayal of Hel, Fenrir, Jörmungandr, and even Loki will take liberties with their lore. Avengers will play a roll in this story but not until later. The events of Thor, Avengers and the movies that follow playing into Hel's story.
