Care-a-Lot, 1989
In the land of Care-a-Lot. The Care Bears were having just another normal day in their Kingdom of Caring. Brave Heart Lion, Cheer Bear, Tenderheart Bear, Friend Bear, Champ Bear, Grumpy Bear, Lotsa Heart Elephant and Bright Heart Raccoon we're all out and about while it looked like they were resting from a workout.
"Whoa! Didn't think a workout would be that intense." said Tenderheart Bear.
"Whose idea was it to go for a morning workout?" asked Grumpy Bear looking as though he just recovered.
"Guilty." Champ Bear pointed out with a nervous face. "I figured it would be a good idea to keep us sports fans in top physical condition but I think my idea was overdone like an overcooked stake."
"Now I wouldn't say that." Brave Heart Lion chimed in.
"I think I pulled something." said Grumpy Bear.
They turned to see that Grumpy Bear was sitting down and carefully took it easy as he was given an ice pack to press on his left shoulder. Cheer Bear, Brave Heart Lion and Champ Bear had nervous grins with blushing cheeks, knowing that the workout was a little too much for him.
"Sorry Grumpy!" said Cheer Bear, Tenderheart Bear, Champ Bear and Brave Heart Lion apologetically in unison.
"Just keep that compressed on your shoulder for a while and take it easy." advised Champ Bear.
"I knew doing that workout in the morning was going to pull something. Could've been worse though." said Grumpy Bear.
"You could've broken your leg." said Cheer Bear.
Grumpy Bear shuddered at the thought of having a broken bone or even the thought of having a broken leg. Cheer Bear lightly patted Grumpy Bear's back to reassure him which shown it was working.
"Sorry about that, Grumpy." apologized Cheer Bear.
"How do you put up with me?" said Grumpy Bear showing a smile.
"Because you're part of the Care Bear family. We sometimes have those days but even a care bear needs some cheering up." Cheer Bear told him.
"Being part of this family actually makes me less grumpy or less grumpier than I usually am." said Grumpy Bear showing some slight optimism.
Their conversation was interrupted when they heard a loud tolling of a bell. Everyone heard the tolling of this bell and they raced their way towards the caring meter.
"This can't be good. The bell has never tolled this loudly before." said Tenderheart Bear looking worried.
"It's much louder if you fall asleep near it and the bell tolls. It took me three days to get my ears to pop and unclog." said Grumpy Bear remembering a moment he didn't like to relive.
They made it to the caring meter and the red arrow was showing that it went from the green zone and moved to the yellow zone which was stopping once it reached passed one red star of the yellow zone.
"Someone on earth probably needs our help." said Cheer Bear taking notice.
"Question is, who?" asked Bright Heart Raccoon.
"Got a lock on him." called Lotsa Heart Elephant.
They all approached Lotsa Heart Elephant who was looking through a telescope that acted like a spyglass as they saw Lotsa Heart Elephant was looking through the telescope. He began to see somewhere on earth, there was a young boy he saw. This human male child appeared different than most of the children that they're seen or interacted with.
The boy appeared to be eleven years old, appearing to be at least five feet and one inch tall, he was tall for a boy his age. He was Caucasian, he had a beautifully full head of hair that was long like Brave Heart Lion's mane, thick and voluminous as Brave Heart Lion's mane as well. His hair was blonde and was shoulder length or slightly longer, his hair type was straight and parted down the middle, he had beautiful blue eyes like the sky, his skin was flawless as his body appeared to look slender but his body type couldn't be identified with his clothes on. He worn a black T-shirt and blue jean pants with black leather boots.
This human boy appeared to be handsome for someone his age but he was showing to be running from something and he was showing to be really fast on his feet. His face somehow appeared to be rather stoic and lacking any emotion.
"I see him! But he's running." Lotsa Heart Elephant. "But wow! You guys got to see this kid. And that's the truth!"
Lotsa Heart Elephant gave the telescope to Tenderheart Bear who looked through the scope and he too saw the boy who now stopped running but shown to be enraged as he was using a large, strong stick the size of a baseball bat to whack it against a large, thick tree trunk as it looked like he was so irate that he lost his temper.
"What do you see?" asked Brave Heart Lion curiously.
Tenderheart Bear looked up from the telescope and looked at the rest of them with a slightly shocked and visibly shaken expression. Only him and Lotsa Heart Elephant saw the boy and already they were looking concerned.
"The kid is very angry." said Tenderheart Bear wide eyed.
"No time to lose, sports fans! Grumpy, you stay here and rest that pulled shoulder." instructed Champ Bear.
Cheer Bear, Champ Bear, Love-a-Lot Bear, Tenderheart Bear, Brave Heart Lion and Lotsa Heart Elephant all climbed into their Rainbow Roller cars and once they've started them up, their vehicles began to fly off into the air and they flew down towards earth. They were heading out to go help the young boy who apparently was irate and running from something but the only thing on their minds was what was he running from and why was he so angry?
