Brave Heart Lion, Cheer Bear, Tenderheart Bear, Friend Bear, Funshine Bear, Champ Bear, Grumpy Bear, Lotsa Heart Elephant, Bright Heart Raccoon, Love-a-Lot Bear, True Heart Bear and Noble Heart Horse flew down to earth and Tenderheart Bear was leading the way as he was seeing where Murphy is going on the radar tracking device built into the vehicle he drove.
"He's close." called Tenderheart Bear.
They were descending down to the ground as they were headed for a forest area. There was a dot on the radar screen that was the color of a cloud and shaped like a cloud. It stopped and that's when they went down and landed on the ground.
Once they landed and gotten out of the Rainbow Roller cars. They saw that the vehicle they've tracked down was twelve feet away. They ran towards the Rainbow Roller car and Murphy was nowhere inside it.
"He can't have gone too far." said Brave Heart Lion.
"Son of a bitch!" shouted a deep male's voice.
"That's him." said Cheer Bear.
They immediately ran towards the source of the screams of rage and knew it was coming from Murphy. They heard him screaming in a fit of rage. His screams of rage sounded so powerful that it almost sounded like he was possessed by the emotion like being possessed by a spirit.
"You took everything away from me! What else is left for you to take!" shouted Murphy.
"Murphy!" called Cheer Bear.
As they followed and got closer. They called out to him but he ignored them. It wasn't long till they heard him screaming again and while in the forest. They came to what looked like a center that had tall, thick, and very huge trees all around this one spot but also near a cliff.
There, they saw Murphy but he was very irate that he had a thick and large tree branch in his hand which was the size of a pipe, he was using it to beat against the trees around him, screaming in rage that the Care Bears knew that this amount of anger and stress wasn't good for him or his heart.
"Murphy! What are you doing?" called out Brave Heart Lion.
Murphy didn't respond as he kept using the branch to repeatedly swing and hit at the trees. They've never seen a child get so angry before that it was almost like he was unlocking hidden superhuman strength from within. This almost scared them as the branch he used started to snap into pieces when it would use it to hit the trees harder and harder, it was like he had the strength of ten male bodybuilders in one body.
The branch finally broke into too many pieces to the point that he could no longer use it anymore. He tossed the remaining piece at the tree and he looked as though he wanted to run but he didn't.
"Murphy, it's going to be alright." cried Cheer Bear.
Murphy finally turned to face them and they saw he was very angry. The look of rage on him was looking like he was tight lipped, his eyes were locked onto them and he was shaking from the powerful grip of anger that he was experiencing.
"That's a lot of rage." said Lotsa Heart Elephant wide eyed.
"Murphy, try to calm down. All that anger is bad for your heart." advised Bright Heart Raccoon.
"What's the point anymore!" cried Murphy. "If God is always good. Why did he take my family away from me?"
He bent down and grabbed a rock as he tossed it at one of the trees in a fit of rage. They attempted to console and pacify Murphy.
"Murphy, they say God works in strange, mysterious ways. But what if this wasn't his doing?" said True Heart Bear.
"Not his doing? Ha! They might as well say that if we find a genie lamp. We're granted three wishes and they could be anything we want and that would turn out to be the genie being a trickster where once we make a wish, he twists it around into a wish we didn't want and than we'd have the ignorance to believe that it wasn't the genie's doing." argued Murphy. "If you had any evidence to prove to me that my brother dying wasn't this make-believe man in the skies doing, than where's the evidence?"
They were met with a silence as they knew they had no proof but only a hunch. Murphy scoffed at them.
"That's what I thought." Murphy said sarcastically.
"We only have a hunch that it wasn't God's doing that your brother died in the accident." said Tenderheart Bear.
"Murphy, just calm down enough to listen to us. God wouldn't want you to do this to yourself. He loves you. He knew you needed us to help you. Were we a little late on it by two years? Yes. But we're here now to help you. Just calm down enough to listen to us." Cheer Bear said attempting to get through to Murphy.
Cheer Bear approached him and Murphy had no idea what she was about to do, neither did the Care Bears that were witnessing this. Murphy was still shaking from his angry outburst but for some reason, he felt like he wanted to listen to Cheer Bear as he saw Cheer Bear hold out one of her hands to him.
"It's alright. Just breathe Murphy and breathe calmly." advised Cheer Bear softly.
"Cheer Bear, what are you doing?" asked Grumpy Bear.
"Just trust me. I know what I'm doing." Cheer Bear told.
Cheer Bear suddenly jumped up into the air and Murphy caught her in his arms. But when he caught her. Cheer Bear hugged him and planted her lips to his in a kiss in an attempt to show him love and to calm him from his enraged state. This sent him backwards and he fell onto his back to the ground with Cheer Bear on top of him.
Murphy was wide eyed as he was kissed by Cheer Bear once again. The rest of them looked on in surprise but approached them as Murphy appeared to be showing no hostility, anger, no negative emotions but he closed his eyes as he allowed this care bear to kiss him. She eventually pulled her lips off him in a loud pop. Murphy opened his eyes and they pulled him up to have him sit up straight as they all gathered around him to hug him.
"Murphy, we know your hurting inside. You've been hurting inside for two years since your brother died. He believed in the Almighty, didn't he?" asked Cheer Bear.
"Yes. Yes he did." answered Murphy his voice sounding shaky.
"What was your brother's name?" asked Brave Heart Lion.
"Jack. His name was Jack." said Murphy slowly leaking tears out of his eyes.
"Do you remember what you've said you saw before the accident that your brother died in?" asked Champ Bear.
Murphy thought for a moment and he remembered seeing that shadow that had the face he described and he remembered what it said. He nodded once.
"Cheer Bear said it wouldn't surprise her if this demon was the reason why all the bad things you've been put through recently happened. What if it was this demon's doing and it wasn't God's doing. What if this demon did this for some reason? We don't know why, we don't have any proof but this is only a hunch." said Noble Heart Horse. "Same could be said about the fire that destroyed your home."
"How do we know if this is the truth and not another lie that God's setting me up for to break my heart again." said Murphy hesitantly.
"Look at me, Murphy." Brave Heart Lion instructed.
They shuffled around so that Brave Heart Lion could be the one facing Murphy face to face while he hugged him closely to him.
"Murphy, do you know Jesus?" asked Brave Heart Lion.
"I'm an atheist." said Murphy tears still streaming down his cheeks.
"We believe it was God's mercy that brought us here to you right now to help you." said Brave Heart Lion attempting to comfort him.
"I lost everything and the only one in my life who ever loved me. How can you call that mercy?" asked Murphy his voice still shaky.
"Because that car accident you and your brother could've killed you both. After your brother died. You probably wished it took you with him. But we're here to tell you that the car accident wasn't God's doing but him letting you live was a gift. The god you don't believe in is giving you another chance. Another chance to prove to you he loves you and that he's telling you that you were saved from death because he knew that demon whose been following you has to be defeated for good so that it can't do this to anyone else anymore. God chose you to do something incredible that can save lives in the future because he knew no one else is strong enough to do this but he knows your strong enough. He's giving you another chance to put your faith back into him because he knows this demon has derailed you out of his hand. And he wants you back. He's sent us to deliver you from the hand of your enemy and back into his hands. A chance to even change your final answer." Brave Heart Lion told him softly.
Brave Heart Lion reached out and began to place one hand over Murphy's heart and his other paw was placed on his left cheek. He used his thumb to wipe away the tears from his face.
"I don't want to be hurt again. I'm a fragile, weak soul whose fragile and broken. How do you know I can trust God again? I'm too scared to." said Murphy blushing and closing his eyes.
"If it's any consolation. So is Jesus. He's so scared he sweat blood. He asked the Father to be removed from him and the answer was no." said Brave Heart Lion.
"He says no a lot." said Murphy.
"He gives us the answer we'd ask for if we knew what he knows." said Brave Heart Lion.
Murphy was on the verge of breaking down completely but he remembered something that he remembered learning from his brother who learned from the same place he learned it.
"For as the Heavens are higher than Earth, so are my ways higher than your ways. And my thoughts are higher than your thoughts. Says the lord." Murphy quoted.
They saw they were getting through to Murphy and more of them placed their paw like hands over his heart as if attempting to heal him of his emotional pain that he's been put through and for having to go through with it for so long. Murphy opened his eyes again and saw that the Care Bears had their hands over his heart.
"Murphy, we know it hurts. Losing a family member like that is never easy. It hurts, it breaks one's heart. But regardless if our caring meter shown us that you needed us and we came to help you. Regardless if we created the caring meter or if someone else created it. Maybe it was created so we can help sad children become happy children when they're going through a problem they're facing. Think of it like the caring meter was created so we can help children that need us as an act of mercy from God by sending us down to help the child that needs us. Right now, you need us, regardless if your angry or upset or if you're thinking you don't need anyone to help you. You need us and our love, now more than ever." Brave Heart Lion continued.
"Why help me after how difficult, stubborn and cruel and horrible I've been to you all? I don't deserve it." said Murphy breathing in and out trying to calm himself.
"Conflict may be part of life. But so is forgiveness. If you're willing to accept our love, our help, and to let us open up your heart to caring again. Are willing to put your faith in us in order for your faith in God to be restored? Are you willing to put your faith in us and let it take you on the path to put your faith back into Jesus Christ? Are you willing to take that chance to put your faith in us and let it be the first step in placing your faith back into him again?" asked Brave Heart Lion.
Before Murphy would answer. He heard a voice. But this voice wasn't that scary voice of the demon they remembered. It sounded like an adult male's voice but it was a deep, calm, male's voice that sounded like it had a southern accent. The voice sounded like a whisper into Murphy's ear that said "Do it brother" and Murphy heard that voice. He nodded once.
"Yes." said Murphy his voice still sounding shaky as he got emotional.
"He knows that your the one that can help put a stop to this demon that's been stalking you in order to save future lives from it's actions and he knows that your the only one whose strong enough to do it. He wants to show you the truth and expose the entity's lie to you. Your not going to be alone in this. You'll have us with you." Brave Heart Lion said. "God is willing to forgive you of your sins. All of them. If you accept our help, our love and our faith. Than are you willing to also accept his son and ask him into your life. That's all you have to do is just accept his son. Accept his love and receive his forgiveness right now. Do you accept him as Lord and Savior? Just as much as you accept our love, faith, trust and and our help?"
Murphy heard that voice again in his ear that whispered to him "Do it brother" which Murphy had no idea where this voice was coming from but he felt like he could trust it. He nodded once again.
"Yes I...I accept." said Murphy nearly stammering.
They all gathered around Murphy once again and embraced him in their arms again. Some of them rubbing his back slowly to soothe him while they would slowly rock him back and forth. This was starting to work in comforting him of his pain and consoling him of his fear.
"Murphy, it's going to be alright. We're here to help you through this. We'll protect you from this thing and make sure nothing bad happens to you. It's going to be alright. You won't be alone in this. We'll be right there with you." reassured Cheer Bear.
"And that's the truth." the Care Bears said in unison.
"I'm sorry for how I've been towards you all. I'm so sorry." apologized Murphy.
"It's alright, Murphy. Just let it out. Let it all out." said Champ Bear.
"Let it out Murphy." the Care Bears said in unison.
Murphy's emotions overwhelmed him and he began to silently cry into the Care Bears arms as they were helping him finally let out his pain. Years of pain kept inside that was flowing like a mighty river.
"Don't let go of me." said Murphy through the tears.
"We've got you, Murphy. We're right here." said Friend Bear.
As Murphy let out a lot of tears. He felt really tired after his angry episode he experienced and felt like his body needed rest. He was beginning to get sleepy.
"Feeling tired...guys...losing consciousness...fast." said Murphy his eyes drooping.
They stopped and saw Murphy was laying back which they gently laid him down as his eyes were beginning to droop more and more.
"Are there children in Care-a-Lot?" asked Murphy with a yawn.
"Just Baby Hugs and Baby Tugs." answered Brave Heart Lion.
"Don't tell them anything that'll scare them." advised Murphy as he fell asleep.
As Murphy fallen asleep out of exhaustion. They hugged him. Cheer Bear kissed Murphy on his forehead and Brave Heart Lion kissed him on his cheek.
"You have our word." whispered Brave Heart Lion.
"Let's take him back to Care-a-Lot. Let him rest there." advised Cheer Bear.
They all nodded and began to drag Murphy over to the Rainbow Roller cars and got him in the seat, buckled him up and they made sure each vehicle was brought back to Care-a-Lot as they've driven them cars back up into the sky and returned the now sleeping Murphy to Care-a-Lot. They felt like Murphy's faith in the lord was coming back or slowly being restored, it was a slow and steady process but it was better than no process at all. But Murphy had one other thing on his mind. Who was that voice he heard whispering in his ear that he couldn't see where it was coming from?
