It had been a month since Adam had escaped the bathroom. He made it out alone. He had been released by Amanda, who promised him freedom and to help him. Adam had no clue where Lawrence was located after he was 'helped' by Jigsaw. Adam didn't care much about where Lawrence was located. He was currently more interested in an invitation to go and graduate at Hope's Peak Academy. The school was located in Japan but the invitation came with a free airplane ticket. After a few days, Adam moved in to a cheap apartment near the school. He was preparing for what looked like a high status school. He decoded he was going to wear his white shirt, some blue jeans and some shoes to go to school with. He had heard about people called 'ultimates'. When Adam asked some people what they were talking about, they explained an 'ultimate is a talent that they are the best at from birth and they have broken many records in the category of their talents. Adam was interested so he decided to he could be referred to as the 'Ultimate Photographer' as he had been working with a camera for most of his life. This was confirmed when he looked through the invitation letter and saw what his 'Ultimate talent' was.
Today was the day. The day where Adam finally could fix his life and graduate. Adam was a bit excited that he could finally get somewhere in life.
"Well. This is it. No turning back now." Adam joked to himself. Little did Adam know that might turn true and kick him in the ass in the future.
He looked around before entering. "I wonder what the other students are going to be like. Hopefully not assholes."
As Adam steeped in the building, he started feeling nauseous and passed out a minute after.
After sometime Adam regained consciousness, he found himself sitting a table in a classroom. Only thing different the windows had been boarded up shut and it was empty. He found a note saying something in Japanese but didn't understand it. He flipped it around and read it.
"Meet at the auditorium." Adam read the note. "Okay, but where is it."
After looking around for sometime, Adam found a door and heard noises from the other side of it and decided to push it open gaining the attention of everyone else on the other side. Adam was greeted with stares of 15 people around his age that he never met before in his life or he thought so at least.
After some awkward staring from the other people, Adam decided to ask who they were.
"So who are you guys?" Adam asked.
"Well I'm Makoto Naegi, The Ultimate Lucky Student and you are?" asked a kid who has spiky, desaturated brown hair with a prominent ahoge, and washed-out hazel eyes. He was wearing black jeans, a zipped-up dull green hoodie with a red stripe along the zipper, an open black jacket with gold buttons, and red sneakers with white toes.
"Well I am Adam Stanheight Faulkner Radford, The Ultimate Photographer." Adam responded to Makoto's question.
"I am Leon Kuwata, The Ultimate Baseball Star. Nice to meet you Adam." The next male who said that had orange spiked hair, a goatee that's tied into a small ponytail, and pale blue eyes. He wore a white dress shirt with the collar popped up, a white shirt with a red grunge skull design, black jeans, and white platform shoes with a black sole. He had accessories such as a padlocked chain necklace, two overlapping studded belts, rings, and an oversized safety pin on his lapel. He has several piercings on his face.
"I'm Chihiro Fujisaki, The Ultimate Programmer." the first female that spoke to him said. She had a small, lithe stature and doll-like appearance with short, light brown layered hair and hazel-colored eyes. She wore what looked like, a girls' winter school uniform set, featuring a long-sleeved dark green jacket, a white shirt with a large Peter Pan collar secured with a thin dark ribbon, suspenders, a box-pleated, mid-thigh length brown skirt, knee-high black socks, and white, ribboned mary janes.
"I'm Mondo Owada, The Ultimate Bike Gang Leader." the next person said. He had slightly tanned skin and a tall, muscular build which gave him a bulky figure. He wore his hair as a dark-brown punch perm with a styled-1960s pompadour. His pompadour was approximately fourteen inches when compared with his shoulder width which can be estimated to be around fourteen inches. He has a deep-ridged black eye-line circling his purple eyes, which gave him an intimidating appearance.
"I'm Kiyotaka Ishimaru, The Ultimate Moral Compass, but you can call me Taka for short." the fourth male introduced. He had short, spiky black hair, large and long matching eyebrows, and intense red eyes. He wore what seemed like military-style white Japanese school male uniform with five golden buttons on each sleeve and five on his chest, a red and bronze medal above his right breast pocket.
"I'm Celestia Ludenburg, The Ultimate Gambler." The second female introduced herself. She wore a white lace-bonnet with one white ribbon for each side with a smaller ribbon tied at the bottom, and had black hair in two large twin-drill pigtails. She had pale skin, red eyes, and gold spherical earrings which have an image depicting the cross engraved into them with a red gem placed in the center in each. She also has long, black nails. Celestia wore a gothic lolita-style outfit, consisting of a white blouse with a Long-point collar, a black jacket that includes white ribbon lacing down the sleeves, fastened by a simple white ribbon across her chest to reveal her red tie and the waist of her skirt, which is many-tiered and features white lace. She wore knee-high stockings trimmed in ladder lace, dark red mary janes with a thick heel held on her feet by three grey buckles, a white lace headband, and a silver, Gunmetal plated ring
"I'm Hifumi Yamada, The Ultimate Fanfic Creator, nice to meet you Mr. Faulkner Stanheight, Radford." The next male said which Adam replied that he can use just 'Faulkner'. He had an overweight figure, with large hands, thin legs, and a face that somewhat comically resembled a hamster. He had short black hair that ends with curled points against his cheeks and forehead and a small pointed ahoge. Hifumi wore a pair of black, thick-rimmed glasses. He was dressed in a white button-down shirt, an orange tie which had a patterned vertical double-headed blue arrow design, a pair of dark grey trousers, and grey trainers. Over his shirt was a light grey, unbuttoned cardigan and on his back was an orange backpack.
"I'm Sayaka Maizono, The Ultimate Pop Idol." The next female chimed in. She was a slim girl of average height with a pale complexion. She has long, dark blue hair flowing past her waist, the hair framing her face cut shorter at elbow-length, with bangs swept to the right. Two thin hairclips can be found pinned on her bangs to her right, another pinned on the left side of her face. Her eyes are round and dark blue, likely enhanced by makeup.
"I'm Aoi Asahina, The Ultimate Swimmer, but you can call me Hina." The fourth female responded. She had brown skin, blue eyes, and wore her brown hair in a very high curled ponytail which was accessorised with a paperclip-style barette. She wore a Hope's Peak Academy-branded blue dolphin hotpants and green sneakers, a white tank top, and a red tracksuit jacket with white piping and what Adam assumed to be her previous high school's logo on the chest. She also wore knee-length white socks, a red knee brace over her right knee, a band-aid on her left knee.
"I'm Sakura Ogami, The Ultimate Martial Artist, nice to meet you too, Adam. The person next Hina responded. They had large build, deep voice and stern appearance which causes Sakura to be mistaken for a man by Adam and the others at first. She had long white hair, reddened-dark skin; very pale blue eyes, and a scar on her face and right shoulder. She often wore her expression with a slight frown. Her school uniform which is what Adam thought she was wearing consisted of a traditional seifuku styled Japanese school uniform comprising of a white shirt a blue sailor collar, a short blue skirt, and a red tie. The sleeves on the uniform are torn off to make room for her muscular upper arms. She wears bandages wrapped around her calves and forearms. Her shoes are grey and resemble Uwabaki, with the kanji for her last name on the toe box.
"I'm Yasuhiro Hagakure, The Ultimate Shaman, but feel free to call me Hiro." The next male introduced himself. He had light brown skin with stubble on his chin and thin dark brown eyes. His dark brown hair is styled in locs that stick out as large points and seemed to be bent backwards. As his uniform Yasuhiro wore three layers of shirts, the top one being a green Japanese male uniform jacket he wore on his shoulders, the second one being an open button down white shirt, and his third layer is a small yellow short-sleeve shirt. He wears a brown haramaki and used a yellow rope as his belt to hold up his large black pants that are rolled up past his ankles. He also wore sandals. On his left wrist is a beaded brown bracelet with the symbol for what Adam believed to be Hiro's Former High School on each bead.
"Kyoko Kirgiri, unfortunately I do not remember what my talent is. Hopefully I will figure it out in the future." The Sixth female responded. She had purple eyes and a pale complexion. She wore her long lavender hair down with a single braid on her left side, tied with a black ribbon. Kyoko's outfit consists of a dark purple collared blazer jacket with six brown buttons over a zipped up long-sleeved white blouse and brown tie with a bird-like symbol on it. She also wore a black short skirt, heeled knee-high black boots with equally knee-high light purple socks. Kyoko notably wore black studded gloves which was for an unknown reason to Adam.
"Byakuya Togami, The Ultimate Affluent Progeny." The final male said. Byakuya was built with a tall, slender build and strikingly long legs. He had pale skin, blue eyes with noticeably long eyelashes, and has chin-length dirty-blond hair. He wore a black suit jacket over a white shirt and green crossover tie. He also wore black dress pants which was accessorised with a black belt, and black dress shoes with a slight heel. He had a silver pocket watch in his suit breast pocket and had the pin of his former highschool on his lapel that Adam assumed belonged to.
"I'm Toko Fuwaka, The Ultimate Writing Prodigy." The finale female in the room replied. She had long dark purple hair she kept in two braids behind her, grey eyes and large wire-rimmed round glasses. On the left side of her chin was a small mole. Toko's outfit was a typical purple Japanese school uniform, as Adam assumed it to be, with a noticeably lengthy skirt compared to those worn by other girls. On the upper sleeves of her shirt is her Former High School symbol like Adam assumed with the others.
After the introductions have finished. Adam decided to talk with Leon and Makoto which Sayaka soon joined in with. Though the conversations in the room were interrupted by a noise in the stage. Suddenly the speakers were being used.
"Testing, Testing. One, two, three, can you hear me clearly?" the voice said.
After that suddenly a half and half, black and white bear appeared. The left side was whit and had a normal toy appearance while the right was black and gave off a demented look.
"What the fuck is this?" Adam asked.
"What the hell?" Makoto said shortly after.
"I know what you are all thinking and no, I am not a high tech Build-a-Bear reject. I am the principal of this fine institution. Monokuma. Please to meet ya!" It said.
To this interaction, it freaked out some, if not all, most of the students.
"Ahh, I had a nightmare like this once." Hifumi said.
"Young man, some respect if you please. Monokuma your principal." Monokuma said.
Which Taka bowled and said something but Adam didn't hear it well enough and wasn't focusing on him.
After more of it's little introduction Monokuma said something Adam believe at first.
"So your wondering how long you'll be guests of our program, approximately for the rest of your lives." Monokuma said which everyone gasped to, "Which I mean instead of new living quarters, permeant living quarters."
"So that's why the windows were boarded up." Sayaka said in realization.
"You can't be serious." Leon and Adam said at the same time, though Adam knew the feeling of being trapped.
"You mean forever?" Chihiro asked.
"Yep and don't worry about it, we have an astronomical budget." Monokuma said, "Though there is a way to get out and 'graduate'."
"Enlighten us." Byakuya said.
"Good old fashion murder. Basically all you have to do is kill another student without getting caught." Monokuma said whispering the last part before continuing, "Beat, slice, torch, roast, stab, strangle, decapitate, curse, bludgeon, and the list goes on.
Most people had a look of horror while Monokuma compared them to a live salmon. Most missed the last part about 'not getting caught', at least that's what Adam thought. So Adam decided to ask that question.
"Hey, what do you mean by not getting caught?" Adam asked looking at Monokuma.
"Basically after a body is discovered, there will be time to gather evidence to catch the culprit. If the culprit gets voted as blackened they alone will get the punishment. If the person voted as blackened is not the culprit everyone else gets the punishment." Monokuma explained.
"What's the punishment?" Leon asked.
"Death by execution." Monokuma said in a very sadistic tone.
"What if the murder fails?" Adam asked.
"Well then we will have a 'Bullying trial' then you get decided if the culprit should be punished or not." Monokuma explained. "That also only happens if three or more people discover the body or the bullying excluding the culprit and the victim in less than 6 hours. The time limit only counts for bullying trials."
As Monokuma continued to walk down the middle, Mondo stood in his way and bent down to it's eye level. He then started threatening Monokuma and picked him up.
"I'll rip you up until I find he parts that make you function and make sure nothing will remain." Mondo threatened as he picked up Monokuma.
Suddenly there was a beeping sound coming from the bear.
"What's that noise?" Mondo asked confused.
"Throw it, just throw it." Kyoko said realising what it was, which to Mondo listened and threw it. Then the bear exploded merely seconds after being thrown.
"It nearly blew off my face." Mondo said.
"Consider that a verbal waring, young man." Monokuma said reappearing on the stage. Most were surprised while Adam thought there were many more hidden waiting around to be used if one go destroyed. After a while Monokuma gave the Monopads. Which was basically an iPad made for the school and explained some rules about how they can only sleep n their dorms what time is nighttime and daytime etc. Then Monokuma left without much of waring leaving the teens to talk among themselves. While Sakura and some of he others who were strong tried breaking out with little successes. After a while Byakuya and Mondo got into an argument which Makoto tried to stop them.
"You think your better then me, Jerk?" Mondo asked as he balled up his fist.
"No of course not." Makoto tried to reason before taking a punch and blacking out. While some argued with Mondo that he could have killed Makoto. Sayaka walked up to Ada and Leon.
"Hey Leon and Adam. Can you help me carry Makoto to his room?" Sayaka asked.
"Sure thing." Adam said.
"Of course." Leon agreed.
While Adam, Leon and Sayaka carried Makoto to his room. They've decided to investigate to se if there was a way out.
