Okay, yeah, too OP. This can't stay. Gotta do something more limited.

I neared the camp with one plan. Hope that bullets can't hurt me, and punch a few hostiles along the way. Every few steps I would get hit with a sniper round, and each one assured me that said plan would somehow work. I could only wonder what that sniper-

The stone on the ring turned green, and immediately I could see the sniper surrounded by men with binoculars. They were speaking a different language and were much too far, so I couldn't... huh, actually I could.

"It looks like it's hitting him."

"I know it's hitting him, but it's not doing anything!"

"Are you sure those aren't blanks?"

"They don't make blanks for snipers!"

"We can't worry about this now, Raza is on his way here. We need to be ready for his arrival, and we can't do that if our watchmen aren't at their posts! Now go!"

The crowd dispersed, and the man stayed there with the sniper.

"And you." The sniper turned to look at him. "Whoever that is, take them out. Incompetence is a very punishable offense."

The man left, and moments later, everything went crazy. From what I could hear, there was a problem with the nearby assault that they were backing with missile support. In the town of Gulmira.

So that's what Tony was here for. Explains a lot.

I started running, and as the stone turned blue I found myself with no top speed. I entered the camp to find every gun in sight firing at me. I ignored them for the most part, occasionally throwing a sniper bullet into their gun barrels, as I headed for my goal.

I wanted that tank, and I wanted to run over stuff with it.

I found the tank exactly where I first saw it. It was aiming at something in the sky, which I assumed was Tony.

There's no way a tank can hit something that small out of the-

It fired, and Tony landed just down the street.

WHAT?! How?!

He immediately saw me next to the tank. "KID! I told you to stay put!"

The tank finished lining up its second shot, and I punched it to the side, sending it into the side of a building as it fired a shell into the house next door. There goes the treads. And my fun.

"Well if I hadn't been here, that tank would've shot you!"

"It would've missed."

"Too bad, I'm here anyway, and indestructible with this thing." I raised the ring to show him.

The gunfire started again, this time at both of us, and he picked me up and flew me into the air, firing a repulsor blast at a few missiles on the way out and blowing the whole place. I pried myself out of his grasp and began flying on my own, the stone turning blue as I jetted ahead. Try as he might, he just couldn't keep up, and I lost him soon after.

Running with the assumption that he was heading westish to the US, I turned right and went north to try and find a map in whatever tourist destination or other identifiable place I could find.

Suddenly I was back at Tony's house again.

And the stone had turned black.

Tony arrived later that day, and we discussed what happened as his machines did their best to remove the suit.

"So what were you doing there, kid? How'd you get there?"

"I don't know."

"Kid, 'I don't know' is gonna run outta steam soon. Hey!"

"It is a tight fit, sir."

"I think I was put there because you were there. Not sure why or how. Why were you there?"

"Obie's been dealing my weapons under the table, and I went out there to destroy 'em. I can't make up for all the people I've killed, but at least I can stop it from happening again."

"Wait, Obadiah was dealing under the table?"

"Yep, to make a quick buck probably. AH, hey!"

"Sir, the more you struggle, the more this is going to hurt."

"Be gentle. This is my first time."

"Dealing to who?"

"The Ten Rings. Same people who..."

He went silent, and I finished for him. "Who kidnapped you. He was your dad's second, right? How did he feel about you when you took hold of the company? The one he had near full control of when your father died?"

"He shunned me at first, then sucked up to me when I started getting concerned about it. It was how he became my second, had experience and praised me for everything."

"And when did he start dealing under the table?"

"Don't know, but it doesn't matter. What sane person would buy advanced weapons if they knew where they could find the fella who made 'em?"

"Meaning they didn't know where to find you until someone told them. Obadiah had the motive-"

"And probably wanted them to kill me, but they decided not to when they found out who they were supposed to kill."

"Obadiah paid them with your weapons to kill you."

"Are those bullet holes?"

We both turned to find Pepper at the bottom of the stairs.

"How much of that did you hear?"

"What's going on here?!"

So yeah, Pepper found out. At least about Tony. She didn't know about me, and she didn't actually hear about Obadiah. I went somewhere to test my powers later that day, but I just couldn't get the stone to work. It just stayed black.

So now, while Tony sent Pepper off on an errand, I was enjoying my chips and dip and working with JARVIS to put the finishing touches on my ultimate chemical estimation program. It was capable of decoding any chemical, even entire strands of DNA, in seconds. Because when you know what each atom does, and can see every atom, it's not too hard to figure out how the whole chemical comes together.

"Code sector G77 is complete, enter diagnostic mode and run a false sample test using the chemical formula for this chip dip."

I rolled my chair over to the soldering station to finish the last of the computer hardware for the sample reading microscope, and a moment later, JARVIS responded. "False sample test complete. Results are identical to the chemical's true macroscopic qualities."

"Good. Run another false sample test, this time on a publicly accessible human DNA sample with known macroscopic appearance."

"Searching the internet for the necessary sample."

"I didn't know you could talk like that kid." I turned to Tony, who was repairing the inner mechanics of the suit. "You've pretty much got me convinced. I still wanna see this thing tell me how big my-"

"I SWEAR if you make that joke again I'm gonna make you read the Bible twice! Old AND New Testament!"

"Well you can't make me do anything until I see that thing working."

I turned back to my work. "Well it should be done... within... the hour. Man, I always hated soldering. I mean, I'm better at it than most, but it's still a pain in the butt."

"If you'd let me help, I would've had that whole thing glued together before lunchtime."

"No, you don't get to see how it works, you'd be able to build it then."

"Adequate sample found, running false sample test."

"Besides, I am just about to be..." I soldered the last component into the circuit board, let it cool for a moment, then started assembling the device's inner structure. "Done soldering everything."

"False sample test complete. Results are again identical to the subject's true macroscopic qualities." I looked on the computer screen, and saw a 360 view of a human male. Next to it was a web page with a photo of a near identical human male.

It was done.

Yeah, you won't be seeing that stone working for a long while. Also, does Tony even own a Bible? He made a Biblical quote earlier in the movie. "Render to Caesar that which is Caesar's."
