Jade was sitting in her car. Crying for the love she once had with her now ex boyfriend Beck.
She didin't mean to fall out of love with him. It just happend. They fought a lot and she got tired of his jealousy. It became too much for her.
She started to seek help from someone else. Someone she never thought she would have fallen for. Not in a million years.
It started when the half latina found her in the janitors closet cutting a trash can, tears and eventually a full blown scream.
The girl just held her. No words was needed for the pain she was showing. So the girl just held her until she stopped crying.
The first time she kissed the half latina was when Tori took her to her favorite place. It was just 20 minutes away from her house to secluded meadow in the forest. She had accidently found it during a walk when she needed to get away from Trina.
Jade and her then boyfriend just got in a heated argument and he had hit her in the face for the first time and that was also why she had run away from him.
When she had reached Tori's place the latina had taken her in her arms without a question. The brunette had held her so tight until she fell asleep.
She was about to close her eyes when she heard the girl confess her love for her.
"I'm in love with you Jade, I have always been ever since the day I stepped my foot in this school and I saw you for the first time. I fell hard and never stopped falling. I know you will never feel the same way and this is my cowardly way to confess my feelings for you. I love you Jade West and would treat you like a queen if you were mine"
Jade's couldn't belive that the beautiful half latina that she fell in love with the first time she saw her take the less talented Vegas place on the Big Showcase. It was love at first sight.
She was confused first, then she got angry and tormented Tori so she could hide her feelings. She didin't want to feel this way but she did. It became harder and harder for her to hide it. It was probably the reason why she and Beck fought all the time, because she didin't want to be touch by him anymore. The kisses and even hugs became bearable for her. She just wanted Tori to hold her hand and kiss her, hug her and even just look at her.
Now months later she found out Beck had cheated on her with a girl named Sofia Swanson at a party, he kept seeing her behind her back for almost 6 months and they had been together for almost 3 years.
She was the idiot that tried to hide her feelings for Tori and this was just the signe she needed. That she can finally move on without feeling guilty.
Yeah.. that's what she is planning to do. Confess her feelings for the woman she loves.
Jade was driving to LAX Airport. She wanted to catch Tori before she left. She wanted to let her know that she loved her. That she needed her and that she would wait for her until she came back home.
She parked her car and ran towards the security check. She looked franaticly around for the tiny latina. As she spotted her the girl was about to go through the gate.
"TORI, WAIT.. TORI" she yelled out making everyone in the line to turn their heads and looked at her with a questioning and confused face.
Tori on the other hand turned and was suprised to see the girl she had fallen in love with. Confused and realized that people was staring at her she walked out of the line and the two walked up to each other.
"Jade, what are you doing here?" She was confused to say the least.
Jade pulled her into a hug and refused to let go. Her heart was beating a thousand miles.
"I... I need to tell you.. something" she said while trying to catch her breath.
"Jade.. what's so important that you needed to come here and tell me, you could have just texted me on the phone" she said still confused and hurt that the girl she loved did not feel the same.
Jade looked into her eyes and held her hands in hers. Intertwined them as she gave her a little squeeze.
Tori felt her heart race. She closed her eyes and in an instant she knew what she wanted to say. What she wanted to say but she needed to hear her say the words.
"I love you Tori. I.. I tired to supress my feelings for you and ignore them but I can't anymore.. I need you to know before you get on that plane that I love you. I will wait for you to come home so we can be together" she said.
Tori felt nothing but love for the woman. She had for so long dreamed about hearing her say those words. But now that they had graduated HA and should be on the way to college she had chosen to get inlisted in the army. Here she was in her Navy uniform, 3 months of training and about to fly to Hawaii and be placed there for 4 years not knowing when she would be able to visit her family. She had made her only call to Jade with a few quick words and then hung up.
"Whomever is calling better have a good reason to wake me up in the middle of the night" the raven haired woman said with a hiss.
"Cadette Vega, Tori ID number 930506-18 Safe and Clear. You won't hear from me until the United States of America gives me permission to call you back" she said quickly and hanged up the phone.
On the other line Jade was confused. She thought she had dreamed the entire phone call until she went to the Vegas home and asked if the younger Vega was there but her parents gave her a letter and told her that Tori had left the day before to join the navy.
When she left the Vegas she was so broken inside and yes she was angry at the girl but when she read the letter Tori had written to her she felt more broken then before. The girl she loved had confessed her love for her, she wanted her to be happy with Beck and that one day when she got back home she hoped that her heart was healed.
They met once again when Tori had finished her training. By then her relationship with Beck had become sour and that's when she found out that he had been having an affair with the other woman.
"Tori please say something" the former goth pleaded.
Tori pulled her close and kissed her lips. The two stood there for a moment that felt like hours.
They only broke the kiss when they needed air.
"You have no idea how much I longed to hear that" Tori said in a low voice.
"I.. I should have told you a long time ago.. but I was scared and confused but the more I pushed it away I just wanted you more and more" Jade said as she let their forheads connect.
"What about.."
"I broke it off with him. Im a free woman who is madly in love with you and I will wait for you. I don't want anyone else.. just you" she said as tears started to fall down her cheek.
"Come with me" Tori said and Jade stared at her. Eyes wide chocked at first but then she just smiled.
"Yes.." the two hugged each other and the two went to buy another ticket for the former goth.
The two sat and held each other's hand as the plane rolled out of the gate and began their flight to Hawaii.
A year had passed and Jade was in the police academy in Hawaii. She found it difficult to start collage since she knew her girlfriend was trained to be a solder. She had heard stories from Tori's commanders about their time in the Navy and the changes they had made. The people they met and places they had been.
One of the officers cousin was a Detective in HPD. Jade and Tori had met her a few times and was even called in one of the incident that Jade was involved in.
Jade was walking to her car when she witnessed 3 men trying to kidnap a teenager not older then 13 being dragged into a van. In the heat of the moment Jade acted fast and pulled up her phone to call 911 and her sisccors from her boots. She had stabbed one of the guys and kicked the other one between his legs and even knocked the third one out cold. Luckily a police car was just passing by and saw the hole thing and even catched the entire incident on their dash cam. When Tori was called into the station she was so scared that her girlfriend was hurt. To her suprise her beautiful girlfriend was being praised and was even asked if she was interested into getting herself in the academy.
Jade and Tori talked about it and she decided that too wanted to serve her county but more close to home. She finally agreed to try it out and 6 months later she had finished her training and was over she had to go into a probation period that could last 2 years depending on how she performed her duties.
Jade's father was suprised when he found out that his daughter had joined the Police academy and was not happy about it but since he was a business man he often was invited to social gatherings with the police commissioners from different states and word had traveled about his daughter on how she saved the girl from being kidnapped and the task forced she was asked to join during special cases. They were praising his daughter as how she quickly managed to catch one of the biggest drug lords in Hawaii. She was quick to solve problems and could see things differently then the others. He knew she was smart but he could never guess she was that smart that she was advancing through cases. To admit that he was proud of her he could never say that to her face.
Tori was proud and so was the Vega Family. Specially David Vega who wanted to have Jade in his team. He also wanted to be closer to his younger daughter and had requested to move to Hawaii after the divorce from Holly.
Jade and Tori bought a house close to the beach and about 20 minutes from their work place. The land that they had was big enough to built an extra guest house were David had moved in so that they would be close just in case something should happen.
The gang was about to meet them at their hotel. It was a reunion that was long overdue.
The gang was sitting at their table and they were surprised to see the two girls entering the restaurant hand in hand.
Beck was staring at them and so was Rex and Andre. Robbie and Cat was just happy to see them once again.
"Hey guys" Tori said happily as she hugged them. Jade did the same but moved passed her ex boyfriend.
"Jade, Tori" he said with a low vocie.
"Beckett" Jade answered with spite.
Andre started to talk about his project and school. He had moved to New York and was staring to get known for his Podcast so that a fight wouldn't brake out. As he was done with his story Robbie and Cat told them what they were doing. The red head was in UCLA while Robbie was in Caltech. The first year was done and was into their second year.
"So what have you guys been up to girls" Andre asked them.
"I'm in the Navy and Jade here joined the Police Academy. She is actually into her 8th month probation" Tori said proudly and kissed her girls cheek which Jade returned with a smirk holding her girls hand.
"Wow I did not see that coming" her best friend said. Robbie and Cat nodded in agreement.
"How come you two are calm about this" he asked the two.
"Jade told me and we talk all the time and Robbie usually joins me during my lunch hour so I wouldn't feel lonely" Cat said as it was normal.
"You knew they are together?" Beck almost shouted and Cat jumped at his voice.
"What is it to you? You don't get to decide who I date or not" Jade said as she was getting aggregated.
"You left and went to be with her" he most shouted.
"I was with her after we broke up and I found out you cheated on me for 6 months you fucking asshole" Jade said with a very low voice.
The others didn't know about Beck's affair and the reason they had broken up.
"You cheated on her?" Andre asked him with a more protective voice.
"He didin't just cheat on me he hit me. That's the biggest reason we fought all the time. That was also when I realized that I was in love with Tori" she said.
Andre quickly got up and pulled Beck out of his chair and tossed him on the floor. This was the first time they had ever seen their best friend being pissed off.
"ANDRE, LET HIM BE" Tori raised her voice.
"You better leave Beck. I don't like cheaters or even woman beaters. You disgraceful piece of shit. Leave because I don't want you near my friends" he said with a angry voice.
Beck was stunned. He had never seen his best friend so mad at him. Cat was hiding behind Jade and Robbie had a very dissepointment look in his face. He took his things and left.
As Beck left Tori told them how she enlisted in the Navy just to get away from Jade because of her feelings but the raven woman ran after her to the airport and to her how she felt and how much they loved each other.
How she just impulsive got a ticket and moved to Hawaii just so that they would not be apart. How they struggle the first 3 months until she finally got a job as a receptionist at one of the hotels. How the Navy got them a template aparment until they could buy a house with a piece of land build a smaller home for her father in law.
How her father accepted the fact that she had moved away and stopped sending her money to her account but gave her the money her dead mother had left towards her future so they didn't have to worry about not finding a home. About 4 months they found the house that fit them both. With the help of the money she had and the money Tori had invested in stocks and coin they were able to buy the place.
"Wow.. so you guys don't really need to be superstars" Andre was happy to say and even support them.
As the evening was about to end the friends was saying their goodbyes.
"So.. tell me Toro.. is Jade really that soft" Andre asked with a smile.
"Yeah.. a freaking teddy bear, but don't tell Jade.. she had a reputation to uphold" the half latina said laughing.
"I'm happy for you and her. I hope she keep it that way" he said as he looked at Jade and the other two.
"She does and she will. We are both in a place were we can finally be together and stable" she said.
"Well as long as you two are together and happy" Andre said as he looked at his best friend who was smiling ear to ear.
"As long as I have her I'm perfectly happy. Just her" she said.
