Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Star Wars. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Star Wars, Lucas Arts do.

He sighed and slowly walked across the surface of the planet. It had been all across the news. The emperor had supposedly died at some point. How likely the idea was varied, but he didn't much care. They he had been as of the second

The empire had fractured into different kingdoms as of the second. The one whom he had served was known as the Greater Maldrood. He questioned how the Pentastar Alignment or the Eriadu Authority.

He almost questioned what his commander had thought of this. There was so much that the man hadn't known about ruling as a warlord, nor had his ambitions allowed him much in the way of actual gains for the Maldrood.

"I heard the Admiral is planning an operation to strike at the Eriadu Authority soon… He's still pushing for the Crimson Commands to be rolled off the factory lines soon." He heard as he hummed.

Each of the warlords had something that had made this war far from one-sided. The Eriadu Authority as far as he knew had most of the empire's best shipyards, allowing them cruisers with enough firepower to end fleets.

High Admiral Treuten, his commander and the leader of the Maldrood… Had gone for smaller, far more numerous weapons. A much smaller fleet. It had been something he approved of if not for the idea that he devoted resources into throwing said impressive fleet at the Eriadu Authority with reckless abandon.

Still? They hadn't lost the war yet… if not for the man's lack of trying to destroy their fleet. It'd be something they hadn't been surprised about, but it was still harmless enough.

He brushed off his uniform and glanced around the room. It'd be a long day before their flag reigned across the galaxy. This hadn't been a genius-level ideal, but it seemed as if they needed a better leader. The admiral had a vision, but he didn't inspire loyalty from his men and officers like him. They couldn't lead a new future if they were entirely to question what to do next.

He hummed to himself before looking over the datapad before he sighed to question what to do next. It had been a lot harder to focus on their military matters and political ambitions when it came down to it.

"Commander?" He heard as he turned to look at one of the men who had been prepared for something like this.

"Admiral Kosh. Sir, I'm sorry. just thinking to myself. The Greater Admiral seems to want to do nothing but more missions when it came down to it. we don't have the stormtroopers he needs and I keep trying to tell the Admiral to postpone it since we're be flying in blind with no intelligence or enemy logistics." The officer said with a crisp salute.

"He's always been like that. I've talked with General Lott. He agrees a smarter move is reinforcing Roche. That will force them into a trap where we can easily dispatch them." Admiral Kosh stated before he rubbed at his chin. "I still need the Leviathan to stay with Grand Admiral Syn's fleet. He's attacking another Pentastar world and the Leviathan offers both the troop capacity and the firepower I need for the mission." The commander stated to which Kosh held up his hand towards the commander.

Kosh knew his brother was ambitious. That was part of the reason he had founded this small kingdom of Imperials. What his brother lacked was the tactical oversight that came with being said, king. He could rule, yes… But Kosh was aware of this and had taken moves to stop it and if need be? Control their destiny himself.

Still? If his brother wished to be their master? He'd allow it up until they became a problem that needed to be handled. There was to be little room for this to fail or be misused properly. Anything else was a horrible miscalculation that couldn't be used, and wouldn't be properly applied to the battlefield.

Still? There was room for improvement here. Something that could be fixed and matted down with enough time and effort onto it. there was the only time that would tell if his faith was misplaced.

The commander was waved forward with more than a few sighs.

Author Notes

Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be delayed and will show both the Maldrood's next move along with more about their plan when it comes down to it. The next chapter will be a bit delayed as of the time and will be 900-6500 words in 2-10 months, until then, Lighting Wolf out!
