Chapter 2

Returning to her condo, Emily sat weeping at the death of her friend Penelope Garcia. She had died during a small argument in the exercise yard. Penelope tried to help a fellow prisoner, getting shanked for her trouble. Penelope died in the prison hospital from heavy blood loss.

"Are you happy now, you bastard?" Emily yelled out loud. Knowing her mysterious UnSub forced her to turn her friend in for her electronic revenge. Now the gentlest person she had ever known was dead.

Her doorbell rang; wiping her tears away quickly, she answered the door, shocked to see Derek Morgan standing on the other side of her door.

"Derek, I don't know what to say..." Emily didn't have a clue. She couldn't explain anything to the upset man standing before her. Her heart was breaking all over again, looking at her friend's hollow eyes.

"Baby girl is dead because of you, Emily. I think it would be best for you to put in for a transfer out of Quantico, as far away as possible," he tells her, his eyes full of unshed tears. Abruptly he turned and walked away without another word.

Observing Emily and Derek through the spy camera within the wall lights, the two women smiled at this unplanned interaction between former friends. Abigail Silvano and her daughter Loretta sat comfortably watching one floor above Emily. The Brunette wouldn't recognise the wife and daughter of Father Paul Silvano, the priest who killed her friend and tried to kill John Cooley. He returned to the Vatican with his diplomatic status stripped to answer for his three murders while conducting alleged exorcisms.

Silvano was a maverick priest; he had been forced to take a sabbatical once his marriage had been discovered; Abigail had disappeared on learning of her pregnancy, frightened by possible repercussions. Paul had suffered a mental breakdown on losing his wife and unborn child. Upon receiving diplomatic status from the Italian government, he started his chosen mission ridding the world of its demonised population. He used a drug discovered during his time in Galicia, Spain, during his fatal exorcisms.

Emily Prentiss had stopped the father during his last attempted exorcism of her friend John Cooley. With his diplomatic status rescinded, he was extradited to Italy. Upon his return to Italy, he was admitted to a psychiatric facility where he remains medicated heavily, never to be released.

The team of six assembled by Abigail Silvano to destroy the life of Emily Prentiss, all but one team member personally hated Emily for various reasons. The team's hacker just loved the money and opportunity to stick it to a federal agent.

The distraught brunette agent lay curled up on her couch sobbing, feeling nearly as low as she did the day she was forced to break up with Jennifer. Derek looked devastated by the loss of Penelope. His eyes looked dead, not his usual bright and amiable eyes. Taking the loss of her friend painfully, she remembered the night she had been forced to break up with Jennifer, her soul mate.

Flashback outside JJ's house the night of the breakup six months ago

Pulling her car onto the sidewalk, Emily glanced down at her phone, reading the text message for the thirtieth time, hoping it had changed from the last time.

' drive to your girlfriend's house, break up with her; I will break Declan's fingers if you don't do as ordered. You have one hour from reading this message, don't dawdle agent, tick-tock ;).'

Reads the message. Nothing has changed from the last time.

Knowing this, UnSub was serious as her mother lay in her hospital bed with a broken hip after a car accident and Gwen, her son's nanny was killed as she watched on helplessly. Opening her car door, with her heart already starting to break, she walked confidently towards Jennifer's house.

"Hello, sweetie. A pleasant surprise, come on in." smiled JJ leaning in to kiss Emily on her lips. Emily, to her girlfriend's surprise, moved her head, so the kiss was on her cheek.

JJ looked at Emily, confused with her actions. She usually would be pinned against the wall, being ravished by her.

" Jen, Can we sit down? I need to talk to you." asked a very serious brunette

A now worried blonde girlfriend nodded and followed Emily into the front room.

JJ sat down on her couch with Emily, sitting on the edge of her coffee table. She was taking a deep breath, thinking about her mother and Gwen, her son's nanny.

"This isn't working for me, Jennifer. It's over. Let us stay friends." Announced Emily, who is quickly mindful of her time restraints.

JJ sat speechlessly, shock written all over her face until her brain had caught up with things.

"You what! Are you breaking up with me now? Is there another woman, Emily?" exploded the furious blonde standing from the couch to pace around the room

Emily knew she didn't have time to argue with JJ; her heart shattered, knowing she had to hurt the love of her life and walk out of her house and not look back.

"To be honest, for the last few months, your neediness and selfishness have gotten too much for me. I need a less needy girlfriend; it's been good, Jennifer but not great I need more than you can give me. Goodbye." Emily hated everything she had just thrown at the distraught blonde. She turned and walked to the front door.

"Bitch!" JJ yelled, throwing a glass ornament at her now ex-girlfriend. Tears of anger now falling down her face,

Slamming the door as she walked out, Emily could feel the blood dripping down the back of her head from the impact of whatever JJ had thrown at her.

Emily had to pull over a few blocks away from Jennifer's house. Her tears obscured her vision. Her cell phone beeped, indicating she had received a new text message. Wiping her eyes with a tissue, she reads her latest message.

'You're asking to leave your BAU team with immediate effect. Use whatever reason you want, but you're to remain in the BAU bullpen. How is MUMMY feeling? :))'

Emily reads her message, knowing then whoever was doing this to her wanted to destroy her life systematically.

"Strauss will enjoy tomorrow morning," she told herself

End of flashback

Knowing she couldn't leave the BAU without consequences, Emily took her pain pills and started to think for the hundredth time how she could get herself out of this without anyone else dying. Two had been killed because of her; no one else would be harmed no matter what it cost her. She had nearly gone to David Rossi in the early days for help but decided she could handle things herself, remembering Gwen's face as she was bleeding out on the screen.

The incoming skype call notification sounded on her computer. Answering her annoyer, promptly laughed through the speaker

" We are going to play a game, Emily. How much do you think these people are worth?" asked the metallic Cylon voice as Emily thought of the disguised voice. She regularly pictured in her mind blasting the evil metallic UnSub with her laser pistol.

The screen split, showing Declan, Hailey and Jack, Sandy Jareau, Fran Morgan Derek's mother and Desirée Morgan, his younger sister. Everything switched over to watch Sarah Morgan Derek's older sister walking out of a grocery store with her full brown grocery bag. Suddenly she was assaulted by three hooded men. Punching and kicking her while she lay on the floor, only running off when she was beaten unconscious.

The camera zoomed in on the unconscious woman; at least one of her arms looked broken.

" We are playing for Fran now Emily the Morgan matriarch. What do you think Derek's mother is worth? Oh, I am sorry, Emily. Let me explain you are playing with five of your accessible trust funds, totalling a little over 80 million dollars. Each contestant is worth 16 million now; please observe." her Cylon told her

Emily watched her various accounts appear on the screen, each account logged into with each bank.

" Fran Morgan, Is she worth 16 million? Well, Emily." asked the really annoying disguised voice

"Yes, please don't hurt her," begged Emily.

Somebody emptied her account as she watched the screen "Such a kind person, Emily. It's just a shame her son hates you." taunted the metallic Cylon voice.

Fran's picture now had been saved on her portion of the screen. Sandy Jareau's picture now looked out at Emily from the whole screen.

" Jennifer." whispered a heartbroken woman looking at the older version of her soulmate

" Yes, yes, I will pay to save Sandy," shouted Emily

Watching the computer screen in horror, she saw through an external camera a couple knocked on the Jareau family door. As soon as Sandy answered the door, she was tasered and dragged inside.

" I said I would pay," shouted Emily

"Tusk, Tusk, Emily, it's not going to be that easy. We accept your first payment to keep her alive for now. She will have a different role later." warned the cylon.

The Silvano's watched as their hacker Phoenix Blade or better known to her, many victims as The Evil Queen. The hacker had been a hacker friend of The Black Queen, Penelope Garcia, until her arrest in 2004 by the BAU in San Jose, California. The Black Queen was repulsed by her friend when she opted to work for the federal government, saving herself from prison. Her friend should have martyred herself for the cause and gone to jail. After the disappointment of The Black Queen's betrayal, Phoenix turned her computer skills to the dark side. She was Garcia's polar opposite and helped the criminal community and, of course, herself. She was wanted by many police departments and government agencies, especially the FBI. She never hesitated to cause them problems. That's why she jumped at this opportunity, as well as the 32 million dollars. Penelope had been a pleasant surprise, especially her untimely death in prison.

She was enjoying destroying this agent, Prentiss's existence. Prentiss was a fed, and Garcia's friend it was almost nirvana for her

"I have transferred all 80 million from her accounts to the selected offshore accounts. It's untraceable, but I will transfer it several more times to make sure and further confuse the forensic accountants from the bureau. All arrangements have been made as you specified, and they have been paid." smiled a proud hacker

" Phoenix, you are worth every penny. Good job." laughed Abigail Silvano; she looked at her smiling daughter.

"Cara, Shamus, time to plant your evidence as discussed; you will both have your revenge for your sister's death soon; Prentiss will spend what's left of her federal life in prison watching her back. I have someone within the FBI contacting defence attorneys, bringing her professionalism into question. I think it's time for Emily to play double jeopardy." chuckled Abigail

EJ

" Emily, time for double jeopardy. Sandy Jareau needs your help. She has managed to get herself into a pickle. Jennifer's mother seems unconscious in her cellar while her whole house is on fire. Professional arsonists have set the fire; she has around ten minutes before it will be impossible for the firefighters to save her at the far end of her cellar. Let's not forget smoke inhalation. She is not as young as pretty little Jennifer." challenged her Cylon's annoying voice

Emily listened as a shiver rippled down her spine; she couldn't let Sandy die. Whoever hated her to do this wouldn't hesitate to let her die; everything had been designed to make her suffer, Losing Jennifer, Penelope going to prison and dying. They knew all her Achilles heels and had utter hatred of her. The only person that hated her that much was Ian Doyle thinking she had murdered Declan and Louise. He was dead by her hand two bullets to his forehead in the garden of that French estate.

"What do I have to do?" asked Emily, worried

"Open your front door, and you will find a gift box. Bring it inside and open in front of the camera." the Cylon told her

Having fetched the box, she opened the gift box and pulled out the enclosed iPad.

"Unlock it, and you will play 'Flow Legends' reach level 20 before good old Sandy Dies, Go!" she was instructed. The computer screen switched to the front of the burning Jareau house.

EJ

"Done!" announced a relieved Emily

Emily watched as the firefighters pulled Sandy Jareau out of her house alive. The screen went blank. A message appeared on the computer to put the iPad back in the box and place it outside her front door—no peeking with a picture of Jack Hotchner on the screen.

EJ

Phoenix watched Emily comply and place the box outside her door.

"It's all-clear, Cara," she told her over her earphone.

Watching the box being collected, she finished loading the incriminating evidence onto the iPad she already had, and she only needed the case of the other iPad with her fingerprints all over. After swapping cases, she would clean all the prints off except for one. Nobody is perfect all the time. She smiled to herself.

"God, The Queen, is unstoppable," She laughed, slurping her milkshake's dregs after toasting Emily's picture.
