Chapter 10
Strauss walked into the 10:00 morning team brief, followed by Garcia and Madison May, Penelope's new hacker friend.
" Ms Garcia has now been fully reinstated in the FBI with an immaculate criminal past. I have always been amazed at how well she worked by herself, working with Ms May to Recover the stolen fortune and locate the culprits; they were outstanding together. I offered Ms May a job to work with Ms Garcia as her partner on a trial basis." Strauss told the amazed group.
Derek watched Strauss leave before he asked the question that had been killing him.
" Babygirl has a partner? You only work solo; you don't share the valuable space in your lair with anyone, not even JJ, your best friend." Morgan inquired of his babygirl
Maddy answered his question. " We worked so well together on our classified case and chasing down Emily's blackmailers we decided to team up together here in the BAU. We have proven to each other we work better together than alone. We both think we can make the team better." Smiled Maddy " Our lair, you will have to wait for the opening of our new lair after the renovations are complete. Dr Reid, will you cut the ribbon, sweetie?" Smirked Maddy blowing the genius a kiss.
Unfortunately for Reid, he was taking a sip of his coffee when Maddy had blown him a kiss across the table. In utter shock, his coffee erupted from his nose and mouth all over his paperwork and Rossi, and Morgan seated either side of the flustered genius.
With the team a little speechless, the two partners walked out of the room laughing. " I am so blogging about this tonight, you. My girl is excellent. Monster and flavoured milk time." smiled Penelope feeling great now she had a partner who was her equal.
" I think he got my subtle non-verbal communication," laughed Maddy

Rolling over in the bed, JJ remembered everything Emily had told her. Finding the first bar she could, she started drinking, trying to forget everything. She had stupidly thought things could return to normal. Emily was correct; seeing her chained to that table in the prison interview room, she had considered her guilty as charged and absolutely prisoner Prentiss.
A hand brushing over her nipple interrupted her internal musings. Swivelling, she kissed the naked brunette lying next to her.
" Mmh, Morning." smiled JJ
"Hi, I don't have to stock the bar for a few hours; what shall we do?" Smiled the brunette casting her eyes over the naked blonde.
" I feel like something sweet, Candy." JJ smiled at the brunette barmaid, taking the exposed nipple into her mouth.
"Oh! JJ, you little minx." Candy uttered, flinging her head into the mattress

Wrapped in only a bedsheet, JJ watched Candy dress so she could go downstairs to work. Leaning across to kiss her deeply, pausing, " Will you be here tonight? JJ" asked Candy with pleading brown eyes
" Yeah, a couple more days before I have to fly home. I'm not looking for anything serious, just fun." smiled JJ
"I will take what ever I can, Jennifer; how about you get those big blue eyes out, put on some cowboy boots and come down to the bar? I will make it worth your while." smiled Candy as she whispered in JJ's ear
After listening to Candy's suggestion, JJ nods. " Throw in a cowboy hat, cowgirl, and you have yourself a deal," smirked JJ pulling her down on top of the bed and sliding her hands up her shirt, indicating precisely what she Wanted.

"Hi, Sweetheart; mama has a lot of bumps and bruises. I didn't want to frighten you, so I stayed away. But someone recently told me you would love me breaks, bumps, cuts and all. I am coming home tonight. I love you, David Prentiss, for now and forever. Bye-bye, sweetie. Can I speak to Abby? Please." Emily asked her son
Yasmin loved Mama Prentiss already and only hoped David would like her.
" Emily?" Abby asked
" Oh, Abby, Jennifer just happened to appear down here in Texas, wouldn't know anything about that, I suppose?" asked Emily
" Emily, I am sorry I thought I was doing the right thing. I take it your reunion didn't go well?" asked a worried woman
"Too much water under the bridge; Jennifer wanted to start as if nothing had happened. Plus, she found me kissing my girlfriend in the park, which didn't go down at all well. I am coming home tonight, and we will move you back to the bungalow once I am financially sound. Will you stay with David until I find your replacement for you?" asked a quiet Emily
"Why!" asked a shocked Abby
"I got your mother killed. I thought you wouldn't want to stay with David and me any longer." answered an unsure woman
"Emily, my mother, adored that boy, as do I. I will care for David until you don't want me to any longer. Mothers death was not your fault, though. I think you are at the top of Jennifer's naughty girl list. I would be careful." laughed Abby
" Cheeky Monkey, Thank you, Abby. I couldn't do any of this without you." replied a relieved mother
Ending the call, Emily smiled at her new girlfriend.
"I wish my body weren't as broken; I do want to show you-Thank you for everything, Yasmin." she smiled before bursting into tears. The stress of the last week catching up with her.
Yaz pulled her crying girlfriend forward, placing her head on her shoulder, gently rubbing her back, comforting an emotionally broken woman. Her ordeal finally caught up with her emotionally.
Yasmin held Emily allowing her to let it all out, cleanse her spirit. They had hours until they flew to Washington.

"JJ! JJ! JJ! JJ!" Yelled the bar occupants as she downed her tequila shots.
JJ had been a considerable success helping out in Candy's tavern. Stupidly a local had taken the blonde, blue-eyed woman as just another stupid blonde. He had been schooled in darts several times, trying to regain his man card. He challenged the Stetson-wearing JJ into a tequila drinking challenge.
They are lined in a row with her five-shot tequila glasses with lime wedges beside them. JJ pulled Candy forward, placing her first lime wedge between her teeth, passing across the remaining wedges. Drinking each shot and biting her lime from Candy's mouth got the whole bar bouncing. Completing her fifth shot, JJ tossed the lime to the floor and just kissed Candy deeply.
Her gentleman challenger took this final defeat a massive blow to his manhood; he pulled a knife from his boot and tried to cut JJ's face. Not realising how dangerous she was, he attempted to cut her face, only receiving the pointed toe of her cowboy boot to his groin. The injured idiot tried to get up
" Get out before I have to hurt you again," warned JJ
He knew when to leave, not wanting to embarrass himself any further.
" Jennifer Jareau, That was so hot." Candy told JJ as she pulled her down for a heated kiss that made her breathless.
"Stock room," smirked JJ
