Amos smiled and walked into Supergirl's bedroom. His eyes were wide as soon as they were on the empty bed. He looked around.

''Supergirl?''

After Amos shrugged his shoulders at a snail's pace, he went into the kitchen. He then wondered if Supergirl was on patrol in Smallville.
''I'll go to Metropolis later.'' Amos opened the door and went outside. He started to shut it before he ran. ''Supergirl?''

Zero reply.

Amos found himself by more than a handful of trees. Pausing, he frowned the minute he viewed Supergirl flying near a large animal.

''Oh. The usual territorial or hungry creature,'' Amos muttered. He watched as Supergirl kicked the creature's leg and caused it to snarl.
He almost stepped forward when she flew to the side after it snapped at her. Eyes settled on its long claws. Especially when they were raised.

''Supergirl!''

''Hmm?'' Supergirl's blue eyes were a bit wide in confusion. She looked back. ''Preacher?'' she muttered.

Amos started to run to Supergirl just before the claws descended. His arms wrapped around her waist. He collapsed as the claws contacted the ground. Amos stood with Supergirl.

One smile materialized on Supergirl's face.

Amos nodded after he was thanked. His frown returned as soon as he glanced at the creature another time. Amos thought Supergirl glowered. Eyes remained on her while she elbowed the creature's snout. When she used heat vision on its shoulder. Even when the animal turned and ran from them.

''What are your plans for the rest of the morning?'' Supergirl wanted to know.

''Oh. Right. My previous plan. I was going to ask if you wanted to join me in Metropolis. I have to run errands there. Are you interested?'' He viewed Supergirl's nod.

After Supergirl and Amos were in Metropolis, they wandered the streets.

''I won't be shocked if we see the usual crook here,'' Supergirl said.

''Same,'' Amos muttered.

Supergirl's head tilted to one side as soon as Amos paused near a store window. She had no idea why he suddenly glowered.
Her eyes were on the object before she nodded.

Supergirl followed Amos to another store.

There was a plush bear with long claws.
